ToyVoyagers - Viewing Topic: New photos?

Hi there,

I was wondering if it might be possible to make the photos of the toyvoyagers at the top of the page rotate automatically weekly or twice weekly. Making all the toys that are traveling to be ontop at least once throughout their traveling career.

Instead of you trying to find the next photos to go on top and waiting a whole month or more for new TV photos across the bar on top, let everyone coming to the site see as many of the toys as possible.

Then. if you want to "highlight" a super traveler you could post them on the front page in a rotation as well. That way covering so many other really cute photos that many of us don't get to see unless we go hunting ---and it takes so long to view them all.
But, if they were set up in a box frame that was always changing it would be very entertaining and very fair for everyone that has a toy that is traveling.

Thanks for letting me come back and bother you once in a while. I still just love this site to pieces!

Thanks for the suggestion - we like you bothering us, you're welcome any time

If you're using the new look version of the site then you will know there is a box on the home page (we call it 'The Postcard') showing twelve pics, similar to those that used to be on the banner. Currently these are static - the same ones are displayed until we decide to change them. Our aim is to rotate these regularly, the plan being that each time the page is refreshed it will display different pictures. And in the way that Linda suggests we will gradually add new ones into the mix.

In the Forum, six banner pictures are displayed on each forum screen you use. For performance reasons we probably won't be rotating them in the same way.

For anyone who hasn't tried the new version yet
If you're not using the new version and want to move onto it, go to Control Panel and select 'Edit Preferences'. Uncheck the box that says 'Use Classic Design'.
