Hey  !
How do you search for new hosts for your toy? Do you look at the old updates the host made? Do you try to find out how many updates he/she made?
Is the hometown of the host important for you?
Do you look in the forum? In the updates? Or do you just wait until people ask you to host your toy?

I look at who is new or recently been on is a big one to make sure they're at least active and I'll contact them a lot of the time... since I've had most of my toys go missing I'll keep in contact with the person for longer before I send my toy out to know they're genuine and not just coming for the toys to disappear again... saying that, I don't have many active toys at the moment because of that...
....and as for me hosting - I used to contact the owners... but now a lot of the time owners contact me directly.... unfortunately I haven't had time to focus on hosting though for months now...

I'm currently busy with school so it's hard to make posts all the time, but I am active on the site and I update when I can - I don't like at-home updates as when I go new places and take them with me. I also like to host TV's for a longer period than a few weeks, so they can see more of Australia while visiting me... please take that into account when messaging me with a want for me to host your little one! :-)

I've posted threads here and on Postcrossing looking for hosts. I also have received messages from people wanting to host my toys.
If I want to host a toy, I reply in the toy's thread.
