Hello!
An idea came to my mind and I thought I must write it down 
Per TV we can "only" have 5 life missions. But when the
missions are done you can't write down new onces. When
it works, than I think the old ones get lost and that's a pity.
Why not archive the done missions?
My idea is this: Everybody could write the 5 missions, like there
is practise at the moment. And when all the 5 missions are done
they go to an archive in the TVs profile (maybe under the Life
Missions as "done Missions" or something like that) and the
mentor can write new missions.
But the done ones go only in the archive, when ALL 5 are done.
And only after that the mentor can write new ones.
(I don't know if this is technical possible?!)
I think this because when someone gets older and gain
expirience the thinking and wishes change, interests change
and so on. And that's the same by a TV (maybe ^^)
I know, that I'm a "newbie" and my TVs haven't done any life
mission at the moment. But I saw some TVs with full missions
and so it came to my mind.
(Hope you understand what I mean. I'm a litte tired  )

I think it's a good idea, but, as I don't know about computers, I don't know if it's possible.
I've found a little problem or maybe it can be a bit different: there are some TV (like mine) that don't have 5 lifemissions, they have less than 5. So the idea can be:
-You can write at least 5 lifemissions (can be less than 5).
-When you get all the missions you wrote, they pass to an archive (I like the idea about to have a "done missions" in the TV's profile).
-Then, you can write at least 5 misions more (can be less)
-and again, and again, and again, etc...
What do you think?

I just now noticed this thread. I've been guilty of changing my TVs life missions when good opportunities came up. Since life missions can be edited and changed, this can be done manually by the mentor. My BarryO has completed his five life missions so I could note that in his profile and invent some new ones. As others have mentioned elsewhere, life missions can be motivating and fun for the hosts.

This is quite consufing :S
And I think that doing like that, when a host complete one of the new life missions, the host can't check the "done mission", the host only can send a pm to the mentor and the mentor will be who change the state of the life mission and who write "Complete" next to the life mission.
I don't know if you understand me...
