hello,
the photos I am trying to upload to toy voyagers are larger than the 100 KB limit. does anybody know how I should reduce my photos to less than 100 KB so that the site will accept them?

Hi Andrew - there are a few ways you can do this.

We use a program called IrfanView, it's free to download and allows you to shrink photographs very easily. (if you want to get it, go to www.irfanview.com). When you have it, open up your photo, then Resize/Resample from the Image menu. You can then reduce the size of the image, which reduces the overall size of the file. Save it in JPEG format (.jpg).

Another option is to email your photos to us. We will shrink them for you and we email them back so that you can attach them to your travelog update.

Another option is to use the standard Microsoft Paint program, choose Stretch/Skew from the Image menu, then reduce your photo by a percentage. Save your image in jpeg format (.jpg).

Hope this is helpful
