Travelog post for: Niilo

My last visit of the day was to Ladybower Reservoir, in Derbyshire.

It is a huge Y-shaped reservoir which was once the largest in England.  It was created on the site of two villages, Derwent and Ashopton which were 'drowned' under the water of the reservoir.

During dry summers, when the water level gets low, some buildings become visible; I decided against doing underwater village sightseeing and we went home instead!
