Hello there!
Yesterday was very fun day. We travelled to small town Porvoo and spent easygoing day there. Porvoo is famous of it’s old town and beautiful old church. “The story tells that in 1346 Maunu Eerikinpoika (Magnus Eriksson), then the King of Sweden, visited Porvoo and granted the town rights there and then”. “Porvoo Cathedral, dedicated to Mary, the Mother of Jesus, gained its present form at the end of the 15th century”.
As I have told you, my host loves old buildings, so you can see lots of pictures of them. People actually live in those old houses, and my host would love to live there. There are also small shops in old town with decoration stuff, antique and clothes, and we did little shopping too. One of the shops has little Moomin house as window decoration, I would love to live there.
You can also see me at riverside of Porvoo river. Well really exciting day for a change. At home we ate chocolates we bought from local candy store called Brunberg , yummy.
