Beuron, Germany - 29th November 2011

One more of my adventures
We drove the the benedictines convent of Beuron. The legend said that Graf Gerold von Bussen has plant the first convent of Beuron in the year 777 which was damaged by Hungary. The reconstruction was in 1077.

The footbridge. There not a lot of theese bridges in the south of Germany. It's from 1801.

Here you could read a bit more about the bridge and the convent. (Only in german)

Walking over the bridge

On the other side. Behind me you could see the river Donau. Here in Baden-Württemberg it's really smal.
