Hello!
Today we are going to bake a cake. A very special one, as it is with some liqueur called Amarula und an elefant on the top. I am really curious how we get the elefant on the cake.

First we read the instructions on the back of the package.

We had to weigh some of the ingredients and I took the chance to weigh myself...

First we put the margarine in the bowl.

Then we needed three eggs...

Now we had a look at the content of the package.

And here we have the form for the elefant, we could almost hide below it.

We put it all in the bowl and mixed it to get the dough.

We prepared the form with some baking paper and filled the dough in.

Now we had to bake the cake and afterwards wait until it was cold. Then we took a thread to cut it into two halfs.

We should put the liquer on one of the halfs with a spoon.

Now it was time to prepare the cream.

First we put some of the cream on the lower halb of cake, then added the second half and put the rest of the cream on top.

The cake needed to go to the freezer now for some hours. Afterwards we could put the form on it and make the elefant.

The ready cake tasted to delicious that we completely forgot about taking pictures while eating.
