Hi Mommy!

Today me, together with Froggy and Bloomer helped Katara prepare a "Koelkasvla-en-kondensmelktert" (Custard and condensed milk tart).

First we read through the recipe



Then we got all the ingredients together



We prepared the custard



Next we chopped up some cherries and added it to the condensed milk and lemon juice



We lined a dish with some biscuits and then spooned the condensed milk mixture over it



We then packed another layer of biscuits on top of the mixture



Next we added a layer of cooled down custard



We decorated the tart with a layer of cream and some cherries



We placed the tart in the fridge to set.

Later on we each had a slice.  Delicious!
