Hi everyone! Happy Easter!
I'm still at home with Frances at the moment, but I thought it'd be nice to let you know what kinda things I get up to here, and what I like to do, before I leave. My plan at the moment is to set off on my first journey on Tuesday, when the post offices open again!
This morning, Frances had to get up at 5 so she could go to church with her mum. Wool monsters don't wake up at 5, so I stayed home and waited for her to get back. When she got back, we had some time before leaving to go to church with her dad, so I helped her start writing her letter to Lucy. I really hope she finishes soon, because I will be travelling with this letter!
We had to go to church 2 hours early, because Frances' dad had arranged for a huge group of people to do the music, and they needed to rehearse. Frances let me sit on her music stand while they practiced, but during the service she got me to sit on the side so I couldn't pull funny faces at her! I made friends with the other saxophonist, John, who thought I was pretty cool and said he hoped I enjoyed hearing them all play.
After the service, I went back to Frances' house and had lunch with her, her parents and her boyfriend Chris. We then found out the Easter bunny had arrived, so we had an Easter egg hunt in the living room. I realised I couldn't hunt very well, because all the eggs were hidden in high up places that I couldn't reach, so I made friends with some of the other toys whilst Frances and Chris hunted. When they finished, Frances let me share some of the chocolate, but not too much because I don't want to get to be too heavy to send in the post!
In the afternoon, Frances and Chris had to go to the supermarket to buy some greek yoghurt for Frances' dad, and I asked them if I could come along. I didn't want to be stuck in a dark pocket, so Frances agreed that I could travel by hat, as long as I wore my seatbelt. I have decided that travelling by hat is quite probably the best way for a TV to get a good view of the world. I was so high up, and very comfortable!
I'm very tired after my long day, so I am going to go to bed soon. Tomorrow is a big day, because it's my last day at home before I go to visit Lucy! I'm rather excited!
Best Wishes,
Rosalind xx
