The next stage of the journey has begun. I was happily sitting on a fire extinguisher in Big Pit when a group of Welsh and French codgers picked me up. I had a couple of Guiness in a public house called the Coal Hole which is situated in a small village called GelliHaf. I then spent the night in Fleur-de Lis before an early morning departure to Verdun, Northern France. Will be in touch soon.
