Hello!

It's carnival time! And because the parade goes right by Marjolein's house we made the most amazing photo's from her house!

This is the view from Marjolein's bedroomwindow.



We went outside to look at the parade from Marjolein's frontdoor.















When everthing went by we walked to the market.



There was lots of music.



Marjolein bought a frog for her farmersjacket. The jacket is called a 'boerenkiel' and it's tradition to wear it during the carnival. Because the citycolours of 's-Hertogenbosch are red-white-yellow Marjolein wore a scarf and gloves in those colours. The frog is because that's the animal of 's-Hertogenbosch. The city is called 'Oeteldonk' during carnival which meand something like 'a hill on which frogs sit'.
