Hi Mummy,
today we took a walk in the morning with Katja's friend. We parked the car close to a hotel above motorway A1.



Only a moment later we reached Eschbach dam, Germany's first dam to be built for drinking water supply. It was opened in 1891.



Soon we left the path around the dam, we came to a rural area with a good overview to the Southern districts of Remscheid.







We also walked through a forest, enjoying the spring sun in a soft moss bed.



Later we reached the dam again and walked around it. It is not too large, you need about 40 minutes to get around it.



In the background you can see the concrete dam and the hotel.



This was a nice trip, now we only want real spring!
