Today is the independence day of Chile! 
And it's not any independence day, it's the bicetennial! 
We celebrated eating BBQ and going to a fair of traditions.





This is the ''rodeo'' field, it's a chilean sport, very cruel by the way. The huasos (chilean countrymen) have to squeeze a cow against the wall and they get points for that. I didn't like it at all!









Then we kept walking around the fair.

We saw these hourse spurs




...And we found a ruca!




Mmm... chocolate!



We bought some!  yummy!





This is the mapuche race flag.



''Piñones'', the seed of araucarias. They can be eaten as well.




A horse mouth bone! 



...And a cow mouth bone.




This is a ''telar'', it's what mapuche women use to knit.
