Travelog post for: Clairchen

Hi everyone,

today we were on a daytrip to Copenhagen, the danish capital.

We took the train from Hamburg in the early morning. Going by train includes crossing the Baltic Sea by a ferry. See me on the deck of the MS Prins Richard crossing another ferry and with the lifebelt.









The sun was shining in Copenhagen, so we decided going on a boat trip through the town. It was very interesting. We saw the theatre and the opera house, the royal yacht, the new libary (called the "Black Diamond" because of the colour of the building), some churches, the bourse and many bridges. Of course we also saw the Little Mermaid. But our boat was very quick and the Mermaid could only be seen from the back. So please excuse the blurred photograph but we did enjoy it.










After the boattrip we walked along the Nyhavn-canal. It's very busy with many restaurants and cafés. Take a look of my colourful photos.





I also enjoyed the ferryride in the evening back to Germany. We had a fantastic sunset. How romantic!
