We decided to go to Times Square to find a some souvenirs.


Here is where the ball will drop on New Year's.


Here is one of NYC's famous taxi's whizzing by.


At the visitor center they have costumes on display from the different Broadway shows.






Here is the famous ball! they have it on display until it is time to put it up for New Year's.


Here is a wall of confetti that they drop when it is 2013. People write their wishes on the pieces of paper and put it up on the wall. they then take the confetti and drop it on the crowd at New Year's.


We decided to go the Harry Potter exhibit that was nearby but you aren't allowed to take any pictures...so here I am at the entrance.


We then made our way to Rockefeller Center where they had lovely Christmas decorations up.




Nearby is the Radio City Music Hall


And here is the famous Rockefeller Tree!






There is an ice skating rink below...here you can see them cleaning up the ice for the skaters.

It had been snowing all day and some was still on the ground on our way home so I took a picture.


oh it was cold!
