olgamaus Posted May 23, 2009, 1:54 pm	Hello, my name is Slummy, I am a birthday present to olgamaus' 13 year old nephew Dominik. Dominik already met some of olgamaus' furry guests and likes travelling toys. I would like to travel for about a year and than return home to Dominik. I already have an invitation from a nice lady in Northern Germany, I will go there in about two weeks. Until than I will do some sightseeing here in Northrhine-Westphalia. I'm sitting in olgamaus' kitchen window now, enjoying the sun. I also took a look out of the roof-light, from here you have a great outlook to the city hall and the water tower. olgamaus Posted May 29, 2009, 5:12 pm	Dear Dominik, today Alex and Katja met in town to have lunch together. I'm sure you already know the city hall but it was simply looking beautiful with the sunny weather. We had lunch in this Chinese restaurant. Afterwards we walked home along the Werkzeugtrasse (Route of Tools), which is a lane for pedestrians and cyclists, built on a closed railway track. It is about 4,5 km long and is connecting the central station with the district Hasten. The bilding activities were sponsored by local tool producing companies. This old wall is partly overgrown with little flowers and foliage plants. Do you also know this piece of artwork, situated behind the "Kraftstation"? Is is made of the rejects of punched metal parts, later painted by children. Here you can sit down for a while. Here are signs of some of the sponsoring companies. You can also find dilapidated factory buildings. We rested on this hanger for a while. I can see this church from Katja's living room window. Bye Slummy
olgamaus Posted May 31, 2009, 6:54 pm	Dear Dominik, today we wanted to visit a flea market in the city, but we were a little bit late, the sellers were already clearing their stalls. We did not buy anything but two cute .... guess what? Yes, we rescued two prospective ToyVoyagers. We took a walk through the city instead because the sun was shining to nice. This time we walked through residental areas in Steinberg. Here we are in Wilhelm street. Here we are at Steinberg, I had walk uphill. From here you have a fantastic overview to the outskirts of Remscheid and to those of the neighbour city Wuppertal. We are now standing in an allotment garden area. From here you have an even better overview. So much green around! This is the new built rear side of the shopping mall and the tower of the city hall in the background. Tomorrow we will visit the flea market in the late morning. Bye Slummy

RikeH Posted Jun 8, 2009, 1:42 pm	Hello Dominik, today I arrived at Rikes home - she just came back from a cruise - and 4 TVs travelled with her. So they said hello to me - and told me a lot of interesting things about the cruise. I would love to do that, too.  Then I looked around the living-room. I am sure, that the flowers are for me. RikeH Posted Jun 11, 2009, 5:49 pm	Hi Dominik, RikeH showed us two nice buildings in Sülfeld The first one is the old school.... the second one is the church – as you already mentioned, I think. When we came back, we played in the garden. We made a race – and I won. I hope, that you are proud of me!!! At the end, we played hide-and-seek, can you see me? It is so funny, to play with the other TVs!!!
RikeH Posted Jun 16, 2009, 12:58 pm	Hello Dominik, today we drove to Hamburg – Germany’s second largest city. The weather wasn’t that good, but there was no rain. So, we are ready to go ! You can see me in front of the town hall – a beautiful building. Next to it, there are swans – nice birds, but VERY big. Then there is just another view of the town hall. This it the Alster – a nice lake in the centre of Hamburg. There is a nice fountain on it – and small boats make trips over the lake. When we went into one shop, we saw this funny family. We were told, that they are film stars – and many people know them. It was a nice day. Yours Slummy

RikeH Posted Jun 19, 2009, 10:50 am	Today we made a nice walk around Sülfeld. This is a cornfield, but the plants are really small now. Rike told us, that they will be much bigger in a few days. Maybe we can come again – and see it then. We found a little bridge over a small river. There were nice views in both directions. After the long walk we had a rest in the sun – and talked a lot. Do you know, that ToyVoyager can talk together, although they come from different countries. I think, that we have our own language. At the end of our walk we saw this giant new green tractor. I wanted a picture with it – and here it is !
RikeH Posted Jun 21, 2009, 7:27 pm	This week-end we were lazy at home. We decided to explore the house and find some interesting things. First these wonderful flowers! After it I tried to call you, but I didn’t know your number… Then we found these strange things- Rike told us, that they were used for horses, which worked on farms. But we didn’t see any horses here. At the end I played the trumpet – okay – it is not a trumpet. Who knows, what kind of instrument it is, can send us a PM….. Now I will play it, so Rike cannot sleep – it is so funny to be a ToyVoyager.
RikeH Posted Jun 23, 2009, 7:32 pm	Hello Dominik ! We went to Bad Segeberg – a nice small town with a very nice lake. Here are the Karl-May-Festivals – great fun. First we saw the church and next to it a beautiful big tree. Behind me is a monument for the festival – I love it ! Then we walked around the lake – we saw some ducks – and loved the different views over the lake! After the long walk we enjoyed to sit in the nature. A great day ! Hugs Slummy
RikeH Posted Jun 24, 2009, 10:09 am	Hi Dominik !         Today was Bree’s last day at Rike’s home, so Rike asked Bree, what she would love to do. She wished to go onto the playground and have a nice time there. Then it was time to say good-bye to Bree. We sat together in the lovely flowers. And especially dicker Kumpel hugged her ! I am so happy, that I can stay here for more days. Love Slummy
RikeH Posted Jun 25, 2009, 12:53 pm	Hi Dominik, Milala and Ninni  arrived at Rike’s home today – and there were me, dicker Kumpel and Murph waiting for them! Especially dicker Kumpel was so happy to see Ninni, one of his missions is it to welcome 5 other bunnies – and she is the first one. We all will go on a cruise on the River Danube, there is very high water at the moment – so it will be an adventure!!! Because we are nice TVs, we tried to help Rike to pack the bags. We decided that long hippo and blue hippo should come with us. Rike wasn’t that lucky with our idea, so we decided to need some games… Help, what is that? Rike told us something, like – you are not really helpful - and put us in this nice basket… …and now????  She had a strange smile in her face and brought us in the garden... Well, we cannot help her now – but because we are ToyVoyagers, we will start Because we are nice TVs, we tried to help Rike to pack the bags. RikeH Posted Jul 5, 2009, 11:17 am	Hi Dominik ! We started our tour in Passau. We explored the wonderful city and started with the Passauer Dom. Then we saw this lovely fountain with the beautiful building. Over the Danube we saw the Veste Oberhaus on the hill – it has a very long wall. Do you know, that the Danube is the second longest river of Europe? And I will make a cruise on it – it is amazing !!! Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 5, 2009, 2:18 pm	Hi Dominik ! This morning we spent in Passau again. We had a beautiful view over the Danube. Because Rike know, that we wouldn't love the boring long trip with the bus in the afternoon, we were allowed to play and we saw a great car of the fire department. Here we are on the long trip from Passau to Budapest. But we had fun – ToyVoyagers have always fun. Bye Slummy

We are in the capital of Hungary – normally it is sunny here, but we have an adventure trip, so we have been in a big thunderstorm with a lot of rain. Can you see me under the umbrella? We went back onto the ship – and found our bed that pretty ! After the dinner we had much better weather, so we went out. This is our ship – the Arosa Bella. This is the most famous bridge in Budapest. Really pretty ! Postboxes are really funny here – we loved them. yours Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 6, 2009, 3:30 pm	Hi Dominik ! Today we made a trip with the bus, because we wanted to see the Donau-Knee. You will see it on one of the photos. First we visited a small village, where many artists live. It has a nice church – and a great place. Then we went to a big Fortress, called Visegrad. We saw the Donau-Knee there, And later, from the place, where we had dinner, we saw the Fortress, We drove to the cathedral of  Esztergom, one of the largest churches of Europe. It was amazing. When we stood next to it, we saw our ship in the Danube. Of course I wanted a photo ! Back on the ship, we made a photo of  the cathedral of  Esztergom. Isn't it beautiful? After it, I played on the ship. yours Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 7, 2009, 9:44 am	Hi Dominik! In the morning, we explored the small city Komarno.It was very pretty. We saw the Townhall, a very nice building (a bank) and then a great fountain.
RikeH Posted Jul 7, 2009, 9:45 am	This afternoon we went to Bratislava,  the capital of the Slovakia. It has wonderful old houses. But we loved this monument. After it, we went to this nice palace, where the first man of the country lives. And we loved the fountain. This tower is really beautiful. Hugs Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 7, 2009, 7:58 pm	Servus Dominik ! On the way to Vienna: This is the view out of the cabin.,Then I relaxed on the sun-deck. It was wonderful. When I arrived in Vienna, I visited the big Stephans-Dom. After that, I went to the Hofburg, where are many Fiaker. I had fun in front of this monument of Johann Strauß ! Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 9, 2009, 8:38 am	Hello Dominik ! First we visited the beautiful Karlskirche and the townhall. After it I drove to the castle Belvedere. I loved the Statue – it is much bigger than I am. Then we relaxed together in the sun. In the afternoon we went to the prater a funny place in the town. We first rode the big wheel – it is very old -it was built in 1897. After it we rode in the a funny little train called Liliputbahn. We love this holiday !!! Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 9, 2009, 9:12 am	Servus Dominik ! Today we visited the beautiful cathedral of Melk. It was so beautiful – I loved the interior and the garden,too. Back on the ship I played chess, but I didn't understand how to play Shuffleboard. Well, now our cruise is over – we only go to Passau and then back home to Sülfeld. We spent the last hours on the ship – watching out of the window and talking about our adventures! I really hope to make the next cruise soon!!! yours Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 11, 2009, 2:03 pm	Hi Dominik, Pinkz and Meleca arrived at Rike’s home today – and there were dicker Kumpel, me, Milala, Murph and Ninni just coming back from our cruise! We gave them a warm welcome and talked a lot about our adventures. Ninni is the ToyVoyager of the week, we are all very excited and will have a party this week. She got beautiful flowers from Rike – we made a photo of both of us – and then with all of us! Later I went out in the garden to watch these lovely flowers on the little lake! Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 13, 2009, 12:48 pm	Hi Dominik, Today we went to Hamburg, because we celebrated Ninni. She is the ToyVoyager of the week. The weather wasn’t that nice on the way to Hamburg, but there it went better. First we did some sightseeing, but not too much. We looked at the town hall – first from the front – with the little festival, where we wanted to celebrate. Then we went to the other side of the town hall, where a nice fountain is. Here you can see us all together – celebrating Ninni!! And me playing in the wine! We had wine and ate something delicious – called Flammkuchen. You see a photo before we started – and when we finished. Oups – maybe a little too much wine? We really had a great time!!! yours Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 16, 2009, 10:19 am	Hi Dominik ! We were in Bad Segeberg again, because we wanted to find the people from the monument. It is strange, that they are here – but we found out, that they play theatre in this town – written by Karl-May. We found this funny telephone box – and I wanted to call you. But it didn’t work… This funny man had a good time. It was so hot, but he stood inside a fountain. I wanted to stand next to him, but RikeH didn’t allow it. So we only played outside the fountain. At the end of our walk, we watched this lovely church – I think, I already saw it, but that doesn’t matter. Summer-Greetings Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 18, 2009, 3:47 pm	Hi Dominik! Last week we hadn’t had nice weather in Hamburg – so we tried it again today. And look, what we saw out of the window of our train – the sun! The town hall looks much nicer in the sunshine. And we saw the Alsterarkaden – they are very beautiful. Then we crossed the street and went to the Alster. There we saw the fountain and the nice boats. When we walked on the boarder of the lake, we saw swans and geese. This wonderful view is from the other side. Because we all loved this view, we wanted to have an own photo - and one from all of us! On the way back to the train station (on the second photo) we made a stop at the Kunsthalle – a museum of Art. Inside the station we waited for our train – and I wanted to show you the nice station! We entered the train and had a nice meal – what a great sunny trip!!! yours Slummy
RikeH Posted Jul 20, 2009, 1:08 pm	Hi Dominik ! Today I told the other TVs, that I will go to my next host. They all gave me a big hug – and we all hope, to meet again somewhere in the world. I was so sorry to leave, but Dicker Kumpel gave me a special hug and told me, that this is the only bad time in the life of a ToyVoyager – to leave nice friends. But there will be new friendly hosts, TVs and pets on my next places! So now I am happy to go to my next host. I will write again from my next host! yours Slummy
katimausi Posted Jul 27, 2009, 2:11 pm	hi mommy, i arrived safetly today here in gütersloh  seems a "soft" place  pillows, everywere pillows  were did you send me??? lost in a soft and cuddly ocean of pillows  hm, i´m looking around, maybe i find the exit yay, i found someone, a cute little pig named peggy  she say, its one of her last days here and she´s travelling to the netherlands, wow  we shared a big cup of delicious coffee, yummy i write the next days more, now i´m relaxing in the sun  hugs slummy
katimausi Posted Aug 15, 2009, 10:33 am	hi mommy, this weekend we visit kati´s best friend anja in oberursel  we had a loooong train ride, it was really boring but we had a nice view on the rhein  but i missed the lorelei. i really have heard they like to sing ...  at last, we arrived at frankfurt impressive  this guy we met in the train and we had the same way, he came from a festival and we had a nice conversation arrived at anja, i was attacked by some giant rats  but anja sayd, that these are nice rats, so i tried to ignore they importunate  kindness  did you know that i learned to move in the speed of light??  here i start aaaand: wow  anja had nice dragongoblets, full of good beer  nice, isnt it??  but the coolest thing is this: a crate of cordial, isnt that a cool thing??  next time i tell you more  hugs slummy
