Dear Daddy,
I just in this moment savely arrived my host family Takata in Lichtenfels. The trip was good, but a little bit cold. I was welcomed by the other bears, the lovely duck Trudi and the dragon Balthasar.
Oh Daddy, here I have my own bed! And imagine, it´s a swinging bed! I think, I will sleep very good. Today we will make a short trip to my host´s garden and look at the sequoias.
I hope, you and Maeusle will miss me not so much.
Kisses for you an Maeusle, I love you

Hard working bears need a coffee an some biskuits!
And now I am very tired and I go into my nice bed. I think I will dream of this exciting day!

Dear Daddy,
today we packed our backpack and hiked to an big mountain called Staffelberg. Hiking is very exhausted
To get on the top of the mountain I had to climb  ;) But don´t worry, Daddy, I was always safe.
Hiking and climbing makes sooooo thirsty! We went to an original bavarian brewery. Imagine, I had a glass of beer there! After that we made sightseeing. We watched the famous church Basilika Vierzehnheiligen.
Now we will have a comfortable evening on the sofa :D

Byebye Daddy and dear Maeusle, have a nice evening and a good week!

Hi Daddy,
today I slept very long! Look at my dear fried Baerbel! Isn´t she cute?
After that I was fishing at the mini lake near to my host´s house. Unfortunately I had no luck, so we had no fish for lunch
Therefore I assisted my host´s girlfriend cooking spaghetti with cheese sauce. It was delicious and now I´m looking for a dessert  :D

Many greetings for you and Maeusle,

And they tasted even better! I´m so full now  B)

Today an new TV arrived at my hosts. It is a white tiger called Fussel He is very cute and a little bit shy. I think, not for long  ;)

Hi, dear Daddy,
today our bell rang at 4:30 a.m.!  :stare:
My host took me to his work.
At first I made for my host and me a coffee in his office. Very important job!
Then we had to repair an oil cooler of a agglomerator. I was the toolholder! After we finished I pushed the "Start" button and checked the oil level and the oil pressure. An important job again!
As the engine was running I had a short break to contemplate.
I also was allowed to drive a forklifttruck and drove with loadingbelts up and down. It was very funny!
Last but not least I had a hot shower for recreation  :D
This was a hard and loud day! That´s no work for the little Baerle! On Saturday I will come with my host´s girlfried an look at her working
Now I will relax and have a steak  :p

Hi Daddy,
today my first week in Lichtenfels is over and I still have a lot of fun!
We Fussel, LittleLuzi and i had a breakfast with croissants and biskuits. When our host brewed coffee we captured the bakery bag
There were gingerbreads inside! Yummmmmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
After breakfast we visited our host´s girlfriend at work. She works in a Seniors Residence.
There we assisted her and did impoooooooooooooortant work!
E.g. cuttling the laundry (the picture shows the beginning ) , assisting to cook the soup, and nibble apples and yoghurt. Thank god there were enough, so that the seniors had not to starve  :)

Now I am tired of all these work an must go to bed early.

Daddy, I whish you a nice week! Kisses, your Baerle

Hi Daddy,
chrismastime is coming! Today we decorated our hosts house with a nice stuff  Doesn´t it look nice?

On sunday we plan to go to the christmas market in Lichtenfels. Today we tested how to go there. I think it is a comfortable way, to go there in a basket. With the blanket inside it is very comfortable  ;)

Now I wish you a nice evening and cuddle you, my Daddy!

Dear Daddy, I whish you a nice first advent!
Yesterday we made a short trip and visited the Nici headquarter where I was designed! A great moment to be at my roots! After that we were in the monastry Banz and took a few pictures of the big buildings (behind me  ;) )
Today in Lichtenfels the fairy tale park opened. We had a look at the sweets booth. Look at the name of the owner, it´s Mr. Baer!
I got a hot spiced wine and some sweet nuts. Yummiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeee

All TVs had a photo with the conductor of the fairy tale rail. Isn´t he a good looking boy?

An exciting day is coming to an end and I am a little bit tired now.
So I wish you a good evening and a nice week!

In the afternoon I went for a ride on Solvang, the dog of the house ;o)

Maybe we´ll visit another christmas market at the weekend.
It is very funny and the food is very yummiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Yesterday we arrived save and sound in Lichtenfels! Such a great feeling to see my old fellows again!

My dear brother Bierle welcomes me warmly and was very amazed to my cool hoody with  VIP on it  ;) He also wondered about my backpack. I showed him and together we opened it. Oh Daddy! So much yummie sweets you put in, THANK YOU!!!

I gave one of it to Bierle. Then I introduced Maeusle to the folks here. She is still a little bit shy but I think she will get warm  :D

The little Baerbel who lives here takes care for her  ;)

I also met LittleLuzi again. We will go together to Denmark tomorrow! This will be a lot of fun! We will be 14 TVs and much resident plushies... and I nerals forgot: hostdad and hostmum will come with us, too. :D

We walked through the dunes and I made a sand angel  :D

A few minutes later the sun came out and it was very warm and such a blue sky, glorious weather for glorious guests ;)

We found a lot of shells on the beach and decided to built a throne out of them. I collected a lot of shells and felt like the king of Denmark  :D

This morning napoleon and me were responsible for the breakfast. We went to the bakery (very yummie in Denmark) by motor scooter and Napoleon´s shopping trolley.

Unfortunately we had only space for 2 bread rolls  :stare:

We still chewed when we arrived back home  :D

Hej Daddy!

Ugly day today, very bad weather in Denmark. So we made a shopping tour. Do you know what "Bolcher" means? I know  ;)

Just take a look:
There was a man, who rolls a mystic mass. He wore gloves, because the mass was hot. He formed a roll, once black, once white...

Put it into a machine...

When he started the machine it made a pandemonium  :stare:

And what came out???

CANDIES!!!

Blavand Bolcher is the oldest candy factory in Denmark!

We certainly MUST taste the candies!

SOoooooooooooo yummie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet greetings, your Baerle

What a surpise this morning!

The TVs had my birthday in mind! They built a circle and I had to sit down in the middle. They built me a throne out of the bolcher box  B)

Then Maeusle began to sing: Happy Bearsday to you :D

Weissbaertle and my brother Bierle pushed a box over the table. Oh, it must be very heavy! I opended it and what was inside? A big chocolate cake! Hostmum put 3 lights on it, one for each life year.

I had to blow off the candles and wished me something  ;)

Then hostmum said that she has one more present for me. Oh, great, it looked like a big candy  :D

But when I unwrapped it I saw what was inside. My own cheesegrater! Great, now I can make original "Kässpätzle" on my own! I must try it immediatley when I am back in Stuttgart!

All TVs waited for the cake. So I cut it in pieces and enjoyed the birthday breakfast with my plushie friends (hsotmum and dad got a piece, too  ;) )

Hello, Daddy!

Today we were in a nice ice cafe! We could sit outside. I looked at the menu and decided to have a "Bärchen-Becher" (bears cup), but hostdad said he would like to have a beer and after that a biiiiiiiiig strawberry cup for us all. Ok, that sounds good!

I tasted the beer! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, so yummieeeeeeeeee!!!

But hostdad didn´t order a strawberry cup... or i felt asleep before it was served  :stare:

Nevertheless, I am sober again  ;)

Hi Daddy!

Imagine, a compatriot of Baden-Wuerttemberg arrived today! It is Aaron. Maeusle and me opened his parcel and welcomed him warmly.

Imagine, he wears a cap, too  :D

We tried to change it. His cap fits me very good, but my shirt only fits on his nose  :D

Hey Daddy!

Have a good Father´s Day! I hope you enjoy the public holiday!

Maeusle and me had a nice day, too!

We made a tour with the motor scooter and the shopping trolley trailer.

On our way To Bad Staffelstein I drove.

After a few kilometers we rested in the sun, in the background you see monastry Banz.

Then we reached a very romatic place near the river Main. We found a calm place and I kissed my dear Maeusle  ;)

Finally we reached at the spa gardens on Bad Staffelstein. We visited the fountain, hang out in the trees and walked through the salina, where salt water runs over brushwood. That´s good for the bronchia.
But thank god we are not sick  ;)

I found a wonderful flower and dedicated it to my Maeusle. She was very happy!

We found a lonley bench in the park, there we had a few intimate moments  B)

But so much love made us hungry and we had a snack.  :p

You know, I love the frankonian beer! So it was better that Maeusle drove the scooter home and I slept in the trailer  :stare:

Hi Dad!

Today we had guests and we decided to make a barbecue.
Maeusle and me made a yummie salad with a lot of healthy ingredients. Tomatoes, bell peppers, corn, cheese, bacon and onions. We mixed everything together.

Then I helped Aaron to prepare the grill. We carried the barbecue tongs to the grill. Then hostdad made the hard work  ;)

Oh, we forgot something! For the barbecue we need something to drink! So I went to the basement and got beer  :D

Oh, the spareribs smelt so yummie and tasted as well as the smelt! We ate it all  B)

At last we made a photo with all party guests.

Such a nice evening!

Love you!

Hey Daddy!

Last weekend we made something very special! You know there was neraly no rain in Germany in May. Hostmum was so sad, because nothing grew in her garden.
We decided to help her.

Hmmmmm, what to do???

Wolley had a great idea!

We could make a rain dance!

Wolley explained what we should do.

At first: build a circle

Second: Dance to the left

Third: Dance to the right

Fourth: pot with coal in the middle

Fifth: Fire the coal

Sixth: resin and other stuff on the coal

BUT WHAT happened! I saw that Maeusle got whiter and whiter in her face.

Then she collapsed! I brought her to the fresh air and soon she was well again!

And: look what happened: It started to rain!

And the rain goes on

The cute little Günther was our host. Does he have birthday today? Or will he marry????

No, it is his lifemission to have tea with other TVs! And we are "The others" Cool job  B)

We had tea and yummie waffels. Günther setted the table with the best dishes and made a rooibos tea for us. He is a perfect host!

He did a great job and to thank him Maeusle read for him the book "Bubble dreams" by the mouse, the duck and the blue elephant. What a perfect afternoon!

Do you remember that I visited my host´s sequoiafarm in autumn. Today we were there again. And I was allowed to help!

I drove the tractor to cut the grass, what a fun!

But we had even more work! The little pine had to be excavated. Thank god I am a very strong bear! So I could do my job brillant!

I earned a break and I sat down to the others.

Hey Daddy!

Today we made a trip to Nueremberg!
We thought about going by car, but hostmum prefered the train  We had a cappuccino and started our trip. To shorten the time we had a science magazine and learned a lot about water!
Hostmum bought a family ticket and so we could occupy four seats  ;)

In the station of Nueremberg I saw a model railroad. Certainly I must have a look  :D

Then we made sightseeing: at first Lorenzkirche, then the shop of Kaethe Wohlfahrt, where you can buy xmas decoration the whole year!  :o
On the bridge across the river Pegnitz there were boothes with a lot of intersting stuff: a guitar, a drum and a bike, everything in Baerle size! But hostmum didn´t buy anything  :(

More sights: The Hauptmarkt, where the famous Christkindlesmarkt takes place (on the balcony of the church is the opening of the market) and the Schoener Brunnen (pretty fountain). Often lovers meet each other there  :p

Last but not least I met a very famous fellow: a bear with a button in the left ear  :D

That was our trip!

Hey Daddy!

I was in Berlin! So cool there! It is a very bid city and we couldn´t take enough pictures to show you all highlights! So only some of them... :stare:
See us in front of the new main station, opened in 2006 and made from steel and glass.
During a boat trip we had a good view to the "Alex", the television tower of Berlin. And finally the famous Reichstag, where the german parliament is located. It got a new dome out of glass and it is really not easy to visit it. We will do it in our next trip to Berlin  B)

Berlin is sooooooooo big, even bigger that Stuttgart, Daddy! So much railway and underground lines, so I often... look at the last picture  ;)

Hey, Daddy!

On our way back home me stopped in the Miniwelt, where a lot of national in international sights are rebuilt in scale 1:25. Good size for me  :D

We saw again some famous building from Berlin, Brandenburg Gate and Victory Column and the UNSECO world heritage Castle Sanssouci in Potsdam.

On the next picture we look like a bridal couple in front of the church, but - Daddy - I didn´t do any nonsense  B)

So it wasn´t our honeymoon to go to the Atomium in Brussels and the Taj Mahal in India. It was just for fun :D

But to see the Opera House in Sydney... this could be one of my life missions, what do you think, Daddy? I will save all my pocket money to see it together with Maeusle in real!

If you save your pocketmoney, too, you can come with us  :p

Dear Daddy!

Sunday afternoon it was an ugly weather, sometimes raining cats and dogs and sometimes storm. So we decided to have fun inside  :D

Hostdad bought a Bobby car and we tried to make a race... hm, bur for a race you need at least TWO cars!

So we had to drive one after another
At first: Jethro! The blue elephant had a phantastical roadholding.
Next was Bernie: She made an effort  *girls*
I was on start position three: Do you see how streamlined I sit on the Bobby car? I think I was the best  B) ... until Peaches came:
She drove so professional, that the audience clapped! Cool sheep!

After that we played a cardgame called "Maumau". It is really easy, exspecially if you see the cards of the others  ;) But I had no luck, so Jethro won the game.

But don´t worry Daddy, I didn´t gamble away my bike  ;)

Have a nice hoilday,

Servuesle Babba!

Greetings from Wuerzburg where we accompanied hostmum today. While she was at the docters we explored the city.

In the garden of the residence I saw a lion. He seemed to be sick. So I tested him, maybe he has caries?
Maeusle assisted me. She said I was very brave!

I was so arduous, and so we rested in the sun in front of pretty flowers.

Haha, we saw a few guys nibbling some grapes. I picked some for my Maeusle!

On our way back we found a funny label... :p

We visited the technical museum in Sinsheim, I am sure you´ll know it!

There were a lot of interesting Exponate. US cars, original planes and a big pipe organ. Maeusle and me took a spontanous dance.

Maybe we´ll drive soon together to Italy? Maybe in the cute Isetta?

Or on the bike of Jan Ullrich? You never know ;)

Hey, Daddy!

Today we made a hiking trip to the Staffelberg. It was my second climb, so I tried out some new routes. At first I leaded our TV group on one of the easier trails. We reached the top after a few hours.
While the others enjoyed the view I climbed a new route.
It was a very dangerous one, I even had to climb up a chimney!

But when I finished I saw I was not the first. The cute blue elephant Jethro was the first climber!!!!! :cyclops:

But nevertheless we had a yummie snack in the tavern on top of the mountain

Haha, I think I got to much beer, I made fun with hostdad´s cap  :p

Hello Daddy!

Today Twixx came back! He arrived in a spectacular way. We didn´t exactly knew what´s going on when we heard a helicopter above our heads. It landed right between us. We thought about some aliens, but then Twixx came out!
We remebered the good time we had together in Stuttgart, he celebrated christmas together with us, do you remember?
We watched together the pictures of his trips and he told us everything about his adventures. Brave little guy!

We looked at his souvenirs he got on his trip. Do you remember the Guckauge, the football and the marble?Great memories!

Tomorrow he will continue his journey, he will go to Scotland with
Ravyna.

I am very happy to meet him again, he is such a good friend!

Today a new TV arrived! He came in a mystic envelope, we thought at first this could be a birthday present for hostmummy, but it was Huli Hutu, a friendly fox from USA!

We welcomed him warmly and I think we´ll have a great time together!

Love you, Baerle

Hey Daddy,

today we helped hostmum painting the kitchen. At first we had to mask a frame, because she only wanted to paint one wall.
Me and Bernie helped her. It was very important to work correct!
Heeeeeee, Jethro, what are you doing? The crazy blue elephant got tangled up in the adhesive tape
I brought him back to life.
Fimbo and me opended the tin with colour.
Now we knwo why hostmum wants to paint only one wall  B)
Green is very nice  :cyclops: what do you think, Daddy?

Hey Daddy!
Today we welcomed a new TV. It was Soeren from Paderborn. I cuddled him and hostmum took a photo for the photo album  B)
He showed us a postcard of his hometown Paderborn.
It´s his first journey as a TV, so I´ll take care for him and give him my tipps  :D

Hi Daddy!

Today we had a lot to do!

At first we had to say goodbye to  Fimbo_Fimble He will go home to his mum. I gave him a "5", as real guys do  B)

On our way back home we went to the brand new shopping mall. There wre a lot of attractions. Maeusle and me took a ride on a historic marry-go-round. It was very romantic!

Then I found a shoe store. Usually the girls like these shops, but today this was my favourite  :D
I liked the frog shoes, but unfortunately they were not my size  :(

But hostmum found a lot of stuff...  A nice flower, christmas tree balls, a yoga frog and dishes in TV size... Let´s think about.... :p

Could be a good idea

Greetings, Baerle

Hello Daddy!

Today we mad the last bike trip of this year. It was pretty cold but Fipsy, Maeusle and me took the bike for a ride.

Huli Hutu was also with us. We played hide and seek within the fallen leafes. But he was in advantage because of his colour

Hostmum promised us a surpise: suddenly we reached the ice cafe!

I chose the biggest ice cream bowl for me and Maeusle  :p

Yummieeeeeeeeeeeee

Hello Daddy!
Do you remeber the pocket money you sent me in summer? I didn´t spent all of it, but invested it at the stock exchange. Now I wanted to reinvest my earnings. I thought about a house or an apartment. But I decided to buy something for my Maeusle.

I gave her the present. She was very amazed! It was a traditional bavarian skirt for my girl  :D
But she is not familiar with putting skirts on  :stare: So I tried to help her...
But no chance! We needed the help of the girls! Fipsy and Joesy helped with the arms, Peaches and Bernie helped to close the zip and the belt. And Lina sleeked the crinkles.

Now my Maeusle is happy! Aren´t we a pretty couple?

Hello Daddy!

Hostdad is a very good cook, and his most famous meal are Tortellini with cream sauce, bacon and peas.
We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal!
But we sneaked a peek in the pots.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie!

We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Daddy, I would like to share them with you, but we ate it all :p

But if you want, I can cook for you, when I am back. I promise!

Dear Daddy, together with hostmum we made yummie christmas cookies!
I formed little croissants and hostmum explained, that they get a topping of vanilla sugar after baking. Ooooohhh, sooooo long to wait!!!

But after we finished we had 4 types of cookies!

Hostmum allowed us to make a parcel for you!

So, Daddy, now you have to wait for the postman  :p

Snow, snow, everywhere snow!

The whole day it snowed! We waited patiently at home until hostmum came home and then we asked her if we could go out. And she said yes!

We took the old sleigh and went down to the garden. We cued our sleighs up in an line and hostmum wanted to pull us through the garden. But I had a better idea!
When I saw the perfect bobsleigh run. I knew that could be fun!
We built three teams: Team jo-mlp/mcDaniels on sleigh number 1, Team Jethro/MA_17 on sleigh number 2, and Team Noisy on sleigh number 3. What a challenge!
I made a perfect start (even if hostmum said I was to early  ;) )

But then Team 2 overtook us! I gave everything and gained the lead again!

But what was this? Team 2 came back! But I had the ambition to win. So I gave more than everything! And my sleigh finished as the winner!

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh, strike!

Now we are drying in the heater  :p

Dear Daddy,

today we wondered what´s going on in the livingroom. We saw hostdad making something at a tree!!! We wondered what this should be! Then he spotted us watching him and he explained that today is christmas! And he is putting the lights at the christmas tree. We asked if we could help. But he was ready yet! So we helped hostmum with the decoration of the tree.
I balanced a blue christmas ball with my foot and hostmum nearly collapsed
But I hang it save on a branch.
After a while we finished. What do you say, Daddy? Isn´t it a very pretty tree? We wish you a merry christmas!

Your Baerle

Happy new year, dear Daddy!

We celebrated the New years eve in the garden. Hostdad made a big campfire and hang a pot over it. There he roasted meat and vegetables. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring.

When it was midnight I gave Maeusle a big kiss!

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtttttttttttttttttttsssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Daddyyyyyyyyyyyyy, I am sooooooooooooooo tireeeeeeeeeeeed :o

But Maeusle woke us up in the early morning for a early-bird-yoga-lesson. I really like birds but not at this time!

You know I love my Maeusle very much ans so I fulfilled her the wish to take part ..........................

At first we sat down (very good) and sang some Ommmmmmmmmmm

Then we made the position of the dog (very exhausting) because you have to put your bottom to the top and your hands and feet to the floor. After that we made th position of the cobra. I took a deep breath and felt the energy streaming through my padding.

Nevertheless I was very happy when we could relax at the end of the lesson. Now I need a yummie breakfast!

Dear Babba,

a few of us were allowed to take part in a therapy lesson today.
Hostmum started her artwork last week, a naked woman  B)
She said she needed our help to get her in the right shape. Oh yes, I am the right person for this problem  :p
I modeled the back of the lady and followed my intuition.
Jethro followed his intuition, too and modeled a pair of butterfly wings for her.
So we´ll see what will happen in the next lesson.

Stay curious!  ;)

Hey folks at home!

Here I am again!

Many greetings from our trip to South Tyrol! Today we felt like knights, because we conquered a castle. Ok, it´s only a ruin, but a castle ruin
After enchaining the lord of the castle, we captured the kitchen und had a goulasch.  B)
Then we looked at our castle. Ah, very nice, a big donjon.
Let´s look out of the window, Maeusle!

Time for a little rest in the sun

Let´s have some sweets before we go down again

Being a lord can be wonderful!

Hello, Mummy and Daddy!

Baerle speaking. Today we helped hostmum preparing presents for her collegues. She made pralines, as every yera. I helped her two years ago, do you remember? But this year she got new recipes, so it was exciting again  :D

We made a cream of eggs liqueur (yummie) with cream (yummie) and white chocolate (yummie) :p

Then we had to melt dark chocolate for the molds. The chocolate had to melt slowly. VERY SLOWLY. Maybe I fell asleep during melting, I can´t remember...  Then we put the liquid chocolate in the heart molds and had to turn them, so that there was a thin layer of chocolate in each heart. After cooling down the cream must into the hearts. This was no job for bear paws, so Petunia did it. But she made it well  B)

After that hostmum produced a second type of pralines, but I was more interested in testing the rest of the eggs liqueur. Now I am en expert  :D

Have a nice dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Yours, Baerle

Hello Mummy and Daddy and everybody at home!

Sorry for my delay with the updates. It seems we took a winter sleep although there was no real winter in Germany.  :)

Today hostmum and hostdad took us for a trip to Bamberg, about 40km away from Lichtenfels. We had no sunshine today, but even no rain. So we made a little bit sight seeing. At first we got some navigation at an bronze model of the city.

Then we took a look at the wonderful town hall, which stands in the middle of the river "Regnitz". Crazy, isn´t it?
We walked a few steps and saw the town hall from the other side. Really a spectacular building in baroque style.

After walked so much we were very hungry. So we entered a traditional restaurant. Fritzle and me ordered a smoke beer called "Schlenkerla" and a knuckle. I nearly coudn´t stop eating (I slept the whole winter!) and hostmum just photographed me in the last moment.  :p

I know that my Maeusle doesn´t love beer as I do, so I thought about making her happy, too. Therefore we went to an ice cafe and had a yummie and big ice  B)

On our way back to the car we passed another restaurant with an own brewery, the "Mahr´s Braeu". We went in and I ordered... no water  :o No, Maeusle ordered water and me a beer!

CHeers, Daddy  :D
