Budin and Lillibe have left and so today we decided to hang out in the pool. Andrea is babysitting twice today for 2 different families, one with an 8 month old and one with a 3 1/2 year old. She said she will bring us later so we can play in the backyard with the older boy. His name is Logan.

I am so sorry I havent updated in a while, Andrea has been super busy. Yesterday she bought the nintendo Wii so we have been playing with it.

On July 4th is it Independence day and America celebrates the day they go their independence. We went to see fireworks. In Florida, it is legal to do fireworks and it isnt in alot of states.

I am really sorry for the delay!! With summer break from school I have taken up a small summer job and I havent had as much time as usual to devote to toyvoyagers.
ZoSo left on Saturday and is now on his way. Thanks for letting me host him!

Finally I arrived at Budapest, Hungary. :)
Now I am in an internet café with my host, Szeri. On Monday I will see a Real Cable Man who repairs the phone and internet connection at Szeri's home. (She came home from a vacation yesterday and saw that nothing is working - she was quite angry about it, but now that she gets her internet dose, hopefully she will calm down...) After that, I will show photos, too.

Wow, summer is so hot here... I hope we will go to some beach soon.

The cable man forgot to come on the day that he had promised, so I took the reins and tried to repair the phone myself. And I managed to do that with magic!

Today we went to the library to borrow some books for Szeri's thesis. It will be about a 20th century African writer. Szeri was complaining all day about writing it; however, she has to do it in the next few months, otherwise all her studies will be invalid.
Anyway, the library was nice, and after that, we took a short walk in a nearby park. You can see a monument here with the date 896, which is the date of the settlement of the Magyars in Hungary.

I think it's time for me to show some pictures about the place where I live now.

In the first picture you can see the view from Szeri's flat. The big red building is called APEH. These letters stand for the tax office in Hungary. Well, I hope we will not go there - I don't really like offices. Anyway, this is the picture that I see every time I wake up.

Posted Aug 23, 2008, 11:03 am 		And this is me with Szeri's favourite plant. It is a creeper, or runner, that's why its name is MarionJones. (It was given this name years earlier than the real sprinter's doping scandal.) In the background you can see Szeri's first start number from a half marathon outside Hungary. She said it was from Prague.

I think I will try the soil in the pot, I've got to dig somewhere at last!!!  :D

Posted Aug 29, 2008, 10:22 am 		Today, the 8th August is the beginning of a very big event. It is called "the Olympic Games", and now it is held in Beijing, China. The point of this thing is that many sportsmen come to one place and they compete in a variety of sports, and some of them win medals and cry.
It  begins always with a palatial opening ceremony, this is what I watched from 2 pm. to 6 pm. My new friends, SaruMaru and Morado were also with me, and it was real fun.
You can see some scenes from the programme, and you can also see the Hungarian group of sportsmen entering the stadium. Their colours are red, white and green. Szeri was so happy to see them that she brought us an extra coke afterwards. :)

Posted Sep 16, 2008, 8:41 pm 		Today Szeri took us to run a little bit on the bike road nearby. Well, I do not have long legs, and I am not extreeeemely keen on doing sports, so I just waited until my new toyvoyager friends picked up all the running shoes that Szeri could find. "Unfortunately" :) , the number of shoes was smaller then the number of the toyvoyagers and Szeri, so it was a rest day for me.
