Hi Mum,

Now we will go to a birthday party - a friend is 60 years old now - wow, that is really old, I think.

I hope, to get some cakes there. Will tell you more soon.

We were at the party - and it was nice.
First we had Coffee and Tortes, later Dinner.

We took 3 photos - so you can see, were we celebrated the birthday. I was allowed to play with the gifts, but most were flowers....

Today Rike asked me to come out for a walk,
but I am so tired after the long trip and the birthday party,
that I decided to stay at home.
I have my own armchair - and it is so comfy here.

Tomorrow will be an exciting day, because SunnyHH will come home, after visiting Madeira. I am so happy to meet him.  :D

We are busy today and bake a cake, because SunnyHH will come home after his holiday in Madeira.

The cake looks wonderful - and SunnyHH and I had a lot of fun together, talking about the life of a TV.

Today many things happened,
First SunnyHH adn I updated our travellogs. That's fun.  ;)

Then the postman brought a new TV - her name is Miily and she is a cute little lady from Estonia. I am sure, that we will spend a nice time together.

In the afternoon we were outside to see some horses, but they were far away and more interested in the grass than in a little TV-Horse. but I am sure, that they will come to us in the next days. Bye for now.

we started our trip to Helgoland.
Helgoland is a German island in the North Sea. Well known for the fresh air.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/Carlisle/IMG_6607.jpg

We went there with a Caramaran, called Halunder Jet. You see me in front of it, and then all of us inside the ship. It was fun !

Sorry for not updating so long. BlackCat had some problems and had to stay at home most of the time, so we didn't made photos.

Today we went to the Zollverein coking plant in Essen. It is a part of the World Heritage site Zollverein. It was so nice there. We climbed around and had a lot fun.

Some informations for you:
The Zollverein coking plant in Essen suburb of Stoppenberg was built between 1958 and 1961 as a working link with shaftr 12 at the Zollverein Pit next door. The coking plant took huge amounts of coal from the pit, as well as from other collieries in the region, and processed them into coke. Soon the maximum daily production of 5000 tons of coke was insufficient to meet demand. For this reason the plant was extended in the 1970s, when it became one of the largest and most modern coking plants in Europe. The Zollverein coking plant employed 1000 persons and produced amounts of coke well in excess of 7000 tons per day. Because coke ovens should never be allowed to get cold, production continued non-stop around the clock for 365 days a year. During the 1980s and 1990s demand for coke steadily declined as a result of the crisis in the steel industry, and on the 30th June 1993 the Zollverein coking plant was finally closed down.

Hey mum,

today we joined BlackCat on her way to the doctor. On the way there we find a statue of Carl Humann.

Wikipedia says about him:
Carl Wilhelm Humann (born January 4, 1839 in Steele, part of today’s Essen - Germany; † April 12, 1896 in Smyrna, today İzmir - Turkey) was a German Engineer, Architect and Archaeologist. He discovered the Pergamon Altar.

Hi Mummy,
the first ToyVoyager I met here is  Penny-Bo from Southern Germany,a little horse like me :D

The weather is rather bad today, so my host Katja had the idea to bake a cake. She talked to another member of ToyVyoagers about rhubarb cake with meringue topping, so she decided to bake such a cake. She bought rhubarb on her way home.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3336/3635441699_a424a23b47.jpg?v=0

After washing it she began to cut it into pieces. It was obvious than that the rhubarb was of a really bad quality, completely dry and lingneous inside. What to do now? I saw an ananas and asked "What about the ananas?" Katja thought this was a great idea. We decided immediately to bake an

Ananas cake with meringue topping.

For the dough you need

750 g rhubarb 500 g prepared ananas
125 g butter
125 g sugar
1 pinch salt
1 package vanilla sugar
3 eggs
200 g flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbspn. cream
butter for the baking pan

For the topping:

3 egg white
150 g sugar

Prepare the ananas and cut it into small pieces. Stirr butter with sugarm vanilla sugar and salt, add the eggs. Stirr it foamy. Mix flour and baking powder, stirr it under the butter-egg-mixture, add cream.

Put the dough into a greased baking pan (28 cm diameter, 26 cm are also ok). Put the ananas on top of the dough.

Baking: 175°C, about 30 minutes

Beat egg white and sugar to a stiff foam, put it on top of the cake after 30 minutes baking, put it back into the oven and bake it for 15 more minutes.

Enough ananas for the cake!

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3351/3635439535_aa2521984a.jpg?v=0

Here the dough is ready.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2160/3635440793_29fb46115e.jpg?v=0

We put it into the springform pan and added the ananas pieces.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2466/3636255480_43288f7bde.jpg?v=0

After baking for half an hour we had to put the meringe on top of the cake.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2473/3635441621_1e8b0a80b7.jpg?v=0

This meringue stuff is really sticky.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3647/3636255126_71240aed53.jpg?v=0

After baking for another 15 minutes the cake was ready.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3621/3636256928_04a2a9812b.jpg?v=0

We will taste it tomorrow, it's already too late.

today we took a walk along the Trasse des Werkzeugs (Route of Tools), which is a lane for pedestrians and cyclists which were built on a closed railway track. It was sponsored by local tool producing companies. Remscheid is famous for it's tool producing industry since medieval times. That's why this lane is called Trasse des Werkzeugs.

The weather was not good, we were in hope of not becoming wet.

From here you have an overview across the outskirts of the neighbour city Wuppertal.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2436/3649004449_e30c9a3615.jpg?v=0

Behind me you can see allotment gardens. They have many garden areas here.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3621/3649003703_615531be3b.jpg?v=0

At an intersection some signs with the logos of some sponsors are installed (with a really beautiful container yard in the background :D ).

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3653/3649002889_447ede7488.jpg?v=0

The first sign is showing the crest of Remscheid.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3547/3649002067_e7128443f1.jpg?v=0

Here we had to cross a street.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2463/3649807768_fff212951f.jpg?v=0

You can find many industrial buildings along the lane, some of them already dilapidated.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3389/3649002643_dcc4198f86.jpg?v=0

You can also find rest areas here.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2444/3649808112_17e60b1d40.jpg?v=0

This lane is leading to the central station, we are close to it as you might guess.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3610/3649003143_aff859fe0b.jpg?v=0

Here is the instanteanous ending of the Trasse des Werkzeugs, it will be completed soon.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3390/3649004081_c818b2dd56.jpg?v=0

On our way back home it started to rain and we had to hurry home.

Hi Mummy,
today we took a walk, to the municipal park and to a district called Rath, a housing area. First I want to show you where I am living at the moment. The attic storey of the house on the left side is Katja's home.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3338/3661968005_cfdc8a119c.jpg?v=0

On our way to the park we walked along a linden alley.

Hi Mummy,
we took a walk in the afternoon, although it is really hot and humid. Katja told us that we should get used to a temperature like they have in Spain.

Spain?!

I don't know what she was talking about ...

We went to the district Hasten, which is one of the oldest districts of the municipal area. You can find many pretty old houses here.

Hi Mummy,
we went to the public library today.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2463/3683516027_f58f906b54.jpg?v=0

The library has three levels: Specialised books, DVDs and audio books on the ground floor, novels and poetry on  the first floor and children's books in the basement.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2542/3683515865_534dfe8d39.jpg?v=0

Outside again the warmth was overwhelming, so we only took a short walk through the city centre back home.

Here you can see the theatre in the background as well as the shopping mall and the tower of the city hall.

Hi Mummy,
we went to the railway station to go to Düsseldorf airport. We'll fly to Barcelona!

When we left the house, we found an envelope on the stairs with cute little mouse UrselHH inside. She arrived just in time to accompany us to Spain.

At the railway station we climbed out of Katja's bag to get a bit of fresh air.

We are at Duessldorf International Airport now. After the check-in Katja and her friend spent some time having a coffee. Here you can see me with Penny-Bo.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2562/3707252746_6836525b3f.jpg?v=0

She needs a bit encouragement because she is suffering from fear of flying. Katja's friend also does not like flying, she had two glasses of sparkling wine to make it easier. I decided that it would be a good idea for Penny-Bo also, so I asked for a sparkling wine for Penny-Bo.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2620/3706441043_3cb4935a4d.jpg?v=0

Penny-Bo was feeling much better than, of course a little bit tipsy :D

Afterwards we took a walk through the Airport. We also went to the visitor's platform.

Montjuïc is a broad shallow hill with a relatively flat top overlooking the harbour, to the southeast of the city centre. The top of the hill (height: 173 metres) was the site of several fortifications, the latest of which (the Castell de Montjuïc) remains today. The fortress largely dates from the 17th century, with 18th century additions. We visited the remains of the fortress.

Hi Mummy,
we have baked bread today. It was really easy. All you need is

750 g wheat flour
about 400 ml warm water
1 1/2 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 packages dry yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil

Baking: 35 - 40 minutes, 220°C

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2566/3756773315_16f3fe8688.jpg?v=0

First we mixed flour and yeast, than we added the other ingredients and kneaded the dough for about 5 minutes.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2559/3752799105_d8fef627a9.jpg?v=0

The dough was covered than with a cloth. It had to rise for about 30 minutes.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2482/3752799587_638337977b.jpg?v=0

We shaped two loafs of bread.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2483/3753595890_f465a0505a.jpg?v=0

The loafs of bread had to rise once more for half an hour under a cloth.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2598/3752801071_8da06760ff.jpg?v=0

Than we brushed them with a mixture of water and olive oil. We put rosemary on one loaf of bread.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3516/3753595790_cc88a762e0.jpg?v=0

They were ready for the oven than. The breads had to bake for 35 minutes.
Finished!

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3484/3753596332_3759b34644.jpg?v=0

Our selfmade bread was really delicious!

Muengsten Bridge is made of steel. It is 107 m high and spans the valley of river Wupper, which is marking the border between Remscheid and the neighbour town Solingen.

The bridge is 465 m long and was completed in 1897 A.D.

A leisure park was built underneath the bridge a few years ago. You can relax on the lawns, play in the water and they have playgrounds for the kids. You can cross River Wupper with a ferry here.

Hi Mummy,
we took a walk today, Katja, her friend Karin, Roo and me. The weather was not good, we took an umbrella with in case we should need. Outside it looked like we would need it. And indeed ....

We walked along a valley between Remscheid and Wuppertal, along the creek Gelpe. First we saw a really old house, close to an old mill.

Hi Mummy,
we took a walk today in one of the valleys within the municipal area. We met Katja's friend Kerstin and her dog Pepe. In the valley you can see some beautiful old houses.

You know, that olgamaus brought Penny-Bo and me with her to fam-united's home. Of course we wanted to see some interesting parts of Bruchsal as soon as possible. Here you see the Saalbach, a small river, which flows into the Rhine.

Today we drove to Münzesheim to visit the Japanese Garden, which belongs to the therapy centre against alcohol and other dependencies. All buildings and works of art are made by patients of the therapy center based on antique models. The garden is about 5.000 m² large, it is open for patients and visitors. You will see a roof made of blue bottles, put into the concrete with there bottom to the outside - it's an interesting room, fascinating. Wall and floor are covered with blue tiles. Just enjoy the photos.

Bruchsal (orig. Bruohselle, Bruaselle) is a city at the western edge of the Kraichgau, approximately 20 km Northeast of Karlsruhe in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on Bertha Benz Memorial Route.
Bruchsal is the largest city in the district of Karlsruhe and is known for being Europe's largest asparagus producer and one of the economic centers of the region of Karlsruhe

Bruchsal is located at the edge of the Upper Rhine River Plains and the Kraichgau along the Saalbach, which is a small tributary of the Rhine that joins it between Philippsburg and Oberhausen.

Ancient era and early Middle Ages
Excavations and artifacts that were discovered evidence a settlement existing on the Michelsberg (Untergrombach) as early as 4000 BC during the Neolithic. In the core of Bruchsal the oldest settlement discovered was dated back to 640 AD. It is located near the present Peterskirche, where I stay right now. The first mention of Bruchsal in official documents occurred in 976 when the King came to town. And during October of the year 980, Otto II and his Court stayed at the King's palace in Bruchsal for several days

1248 was the first time Bruchsal was referred to as a city and in 1278 St. Peters Church is mentioned for the first time. After extensive damage to both, the Palace and the Peterskirch were reconstructed in 1320. The Bergfried (an outlook and defensive tower bastion) was erected in 1358 and the city wall was completed in 1452. In 1460 the first coin was pressed in Bruchsal.

By April 24, 1711 Bruchsal had recovered sufficiently to play host to Prince Eugene of Savoy of the Habsburg Court in Vienna. Then in 1716 the Bishop of Speyer, Heinrich von Rollingen, moved his residence into the Bruchsal Palace. This move elevated the city's status to that of an official residence of the Diocese of Speyer. At the same time, Bruchsal became the seat of the "Vizedomamt", the most important office held by the Diocese on the West bank of the Rhine. In 1719 Cardinal Damian Hugo von Schönborn became the new Bishop and after settling in he commissioned in (1722), among others, the new baroque château and the new Peters Church (from 1742). Both were built and, in part, designed by Balthasar Neumann. In the Bishop's honor, the Southern gate out of the château grounds is referred to as Damian's Gate to this day.

In the afternoon of March 1, 1945, Bruchsal was bombed. In addition to the 1,000 lives that perished that day, the entire inner city and the baroque château were destroyed. The baroque palace was rebuilt in the 70th.

That's enough of history now. I'm not sure, whether you want to read everything, but I thought, Petra should write a bit about Bruchsal's history. She used wikipedia and you will find more history and information there.

This is the palace area. It's rather large.

Then we drove to the "Schwarzacher Hof", which belongs to Johannes-Anstalten Mosbach, located at the castle set on a lake. The oldest building is from 1914/15, the biggest part was built in second half of 20th century. There's place on the farmyard for 780 living quarters and exterior living groups for disabled people.

We went throught the park, that belongs to this farmyard.

There is a small barefoot park and we tried it.

Today we and our host's daughter went on a surprise trip.

The Bietigheim Horse Market begins on Friday before the first Monday of September and ends on following Tuesday. Beside the traditional (actual) horse market on Monday, ride- and jumping tournament (Friday until Sunday), the other riding demonstrations as well as the procession (Monday) with following premium of the most beautiful cars, there is also an entertainment park with marquees, a large shopkeeper market.

I hope, you will like the photos.

The Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge is a well-known German railway bridge over the Enz vallay at Bietigheim-Bissingen and one of the landmarks of the city. It was built from 1851-1853 as part of the railway line Bietigheim Bruchsal under the direction of Karl Etzel.

It is such a beautiful day, that we decided to go on a walk to the little field chapel. On the way we passed the seven sorrows of Maria, the holy mother.
They started to built the chapel in 1903 and consecrated it in 1905. In year 1908 the seven stations were finished. The first four stations were destroyed by environmental impact and war and so they were recreated in 1957 and consecrated in 1958.

The Seven Sorrows (or Dolors) are events in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary which are a popular devotion and are frequently depicted in art.

It is a common devotion for Catholics to say daily a Hail Mary for each.

1. The Prophecy of Simeon over the Infant Jesus. (Gospel of Luke 2:34)

3. The Loss of the Child Jesus for Three Days. (Luke 2:43)

4. The Meeting of Jesus and Mary along the Way of the Cross. (Luke 23:26)

5. The Crucifixion, where Mary stands at the foot of the cross. (Gospel of John 19:25)

6. The Descent from the Cross, where Mary receives the dead body of Jesus in her arms. (Matthew 27:57)

but then we had fun together.
http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy149/hpaje/14112009329-1.jpg

We went to the nearest forrest, just behind the house. I tried how to fly,

how to climb to the tree,

I wanted to see the deer-stand.
http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy149/hpaje/14112009340-1.jpg
I was a little tired, I sat to the forrest bench
http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy149/hpaje/14112009339-1.jpg
but it wasn't so comfy - I had a nap in the grass.

We saw some views:
http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy149/hpaje/14112009338-1.jpg
I was  starving and suddenly I saw a mushroom - I ate it very quickly, YYYUUUUMMYYYY!!!

Hello Mom!!

I have arrived in Mexico City.  :D
The weather is hot and the sun shines all the time. People are very friendly and I think I'll have fun here.

For my first trip Els took me to the city

http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/3316/35472408.jpg

I had such great time walking along the streets and pedestrian bridges.

http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/6886/57781716.jpg

I visited the "Monument of the Revolution" and I could notice it is in maintenance because this year will be the Bicentennial of Mexican Independence and the city has to look beautiful for that day (16th September).

I love Mexico because is a Colorful country.... I enjoyed a fresh cucumber cocktail.... MMM .... Yummi!

We went to visit the the Palace of fine Arts.
It is the premier opera house of Mexico City. The theatre is used for classical music, opera and dance, notably the "Baile Folklórico".
I think is a beatiful place. isn't it?

http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/7099/dsc04647n.jpg

I also visit the "Latin-American Tower" (597 ft; 45 stories) and history makes it one of the city's most important landmarks. As an important note is that the tower can be briefly seen from inside a helicopter during the beginning of Romeo + Juliet movie.

I really loved the urban gallery in Mexico... Im still thinking Mexico is a colorful country.

Hi Mom!!!

I have arrived in the north of England after my long journey across the Atlantic ocean ... it's a nice sunny day here, but the leaves are falling from the trees and soon it will be very cold. Maybe I'll build a snow-horse while I'm here! :)

I miss you lots and lots already, but will keep you informed about my adventures over here with my host, Lotti. I have enclosed a photograph of me looking out of the window at my new surroundings - looks like a great place to do some frolicking!

See you soon,

Carlisle xx

Lotti took me on a trip to central/southern England to visit her relatives, and on November 8th we had a nice look around the beautiful city of Oxford with her brother ...

The first photo is me with the Radcliffe Camera, a building which once housed the Science Library of Oxford, and was named after the man who built it, John Radcliffe, in 1737. The second is me pretending to walk across Hertford Bridge, which is affectionately known as 'The Bridge of Sighs' because it resembles the famous bridge in Venice.

On November 9th, Lotti took me to a place she'd never been before - Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. The town is most famous for being the home-town of the great writer, William Shakespeare, and here I am outside his birthplace, which has now been made into a museum about his life and works.

Hi Mom!!

So sorry I haven't been in contact for a while - we've had lots of snow here in the UK and it has been messing with Lotti's internet!

Here are a few photos of the snow ... the first is me standing on about a metre of the white stuff - it's a good thing that I'm not too heavy, or I would've disappeared! The second is me watching Lotti's puppy, Alfie, playing in the snow ... I don't get too close to him, because he likes to play rough and I may get accidentally eaten!  :o

I promise I'll update further soon. Miss you! xx

Today I had great fun helping Lotti to put up and decorate her Christmas tree ... we think it's looks cool!

:D

Here's a photo of me admiring the finished tree, and also me with my very own decoration - this 'C' bauble is one that Lotti made herself, and it usually stands for 'Charlotte' (Lotti's full name) ... but this year she's decided that it stands for 'Carlisle' - yay!!

Lotti loves to bake, and at Christmas-time she always enjoys making mince pies. This year she even used her own home-made mincemeat, but decided to try to make them from filo pastry instead of the usual shortcrust stuff.

Here are photos of the raw ingredients, followed by the pies assembled and ready for baking, and finally all cooked, decorated and ready for eating - and they were soooooooo yummy! (promise I didn't eat ALL of them!)

Hey there!!!

Finally I arrived save in Bochum!
It was a long journey and I'm soooo glad that I'm out of the envelope now!

As I arrived I got a really warm welcome by Bubo,
who's currently staying at Tiffy's.
And I think it's really cool, to have another TV here... so we can talk a lot about our adventures and can share some experiences!

This is Bubo... opening my envelope to let me out!

And well... here I am!
For the first time I saw Bubo and my new host Tiffy! And she looks friendly... =) So I think I'll have a good time here! =)

So this is me, with my new Buddy Bubo! =) And I brought some Halloween Candy... well, my Mum said the candy is for Tiffy... uhhh by the way... I should say a huge Thank you from Tiffy, to you, mummy! =)
But I think.. Bubo and me are going to eat them, when Tiffy's not at home... *evil laughter* xD Sorry for that... ^^ but candies are awesome!

So... I think, that I'll have a great time here...
Tiffy told me, that the Christmas market in Bochum is going to start next week... so I'm quite sure, that we'll behold it!

Hey Mummy!!!

On Thursday (17th Nov) we, Tiffy, Bubo, me and some friends of Tiffy went to the Christmarket of Bochum!
This was really cool!
The whole town looks like christmas now! And this market is really wonderful... on every corner are different types of smells!
It's really wonderful! I love the german christmas time already! =) Everywhere are beautiful decorated booths and christmas lights!
It looked really good in the darkness!
There was also a light sign which welcomed Bubo and me in Bochum! Take a look!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Iqb0F-Qavmg/TsfsVcCoRDI/AAAAAAAAAZY/WcJ7jQfEQD0/s640/2011-11-17%25252018.33.49.jpg

On this market are lots of booths... were you can buy warm drinks, like hot wine punch, cocoa, egg punch and all that stuff!
To get warm, Buboand me drank an egg punch... this was really tasteful and Tiffy told us, that this would be the best egg punch of the bochum christmas market.
I don't now what's in there... I guess some eggs and alcohol.. but I don't know more xD
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NyeMDShBGQ0/Tsfr8FV4otI/AAAAAAAAAYo/kVtmI8ejfQg/s640/2011-11-17%25252017.33.49.jpg

After our egg punch Bubo and me decided that we needed something to eat!
So we went to a booth which was selling a sort of a bread...
I think it was with sour cream or something familiar... and onions and bacon! And it was baked in a oven of stone with real fire.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HqwP4CfLB10/TsfsDUegh_I/AAAAAAAAAYw/xI5hZvRiZ7Y/s640/2011-11-17%25252018.05.48.jpg

This looked really beautiful... it's the bank of Bochum in the city.
And even this building is draped in christmas lights!
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XCyOoalk8bA/TsfsE6TA7sI/AAAAAAAAAY4/GI3381o2xy8/s512/2011-11-17%25252018.13.29.jpg

On our walk through all the booths, we found a very funny hot wine punch booth!
It looked like a classic roundabout, were you can sit and drink your warm drinks. And the funny thing about it... it's slowly spinning!
Im sure this could be a problem for the people who drank too much of this hot wine... HAHAHAHA!
Unfortunately we didn't drank a hot wine there! Boooooh!!! xD
I so wanted to sit in this roundabout!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zwu8-jUVLiY/TsfsMpbjDYI/AAAAAAAAAZA/ppXTXKJkV_U/s512/2011-11-17%25252018.23.49.jpg

I found a booth there which reminded me of you, Mummy!
And so I had to take a photo of this!
There were so much candies! I couldn't trust my eyes!
And lots of different types of tastes!
Vanilla, mint, coconut... there is also a taste which is tastes like the hot wine punch! Can you believe it? Those germans are crazy! xDD hahaha...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fXfVWlCuBgY/TsfsMnGlswI/AAAAAAAAAZE/4DiNugv4U0w/s512/2011-11-17%25252018.19.40.jpg

And in the end... we saw the highlight of the christmas market!
Mummy!! Can you believe, that I saw Santa in his flying sleigh with his reindeers!!!!??? Even Rudolph, the one with the red nose was there!
And Santa flew over the market place!!!
Unfortunately we weren't sooo close to Santa, so the photo isn't that good, but Tiffy promised to go with us there again and take a better photo! It was kinda strange to see santa flying in november... all the stories about Santa, say, that he is only riding his sleigh on christmas eve... and here in Bochum he does this every day of the market! I'm sure that there's something not right! xD
I marked Santa in the photo so that you can see him!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Si9jxnN6hIY/TsfsTEcRzNI/AAAAAAAAAZQ/tUH3N-xiDlc/s512/2011-11-17%25252019.10.292.jpg

Lots of love

Carlisle

*****EDIT*****

Tiffy forgot to upload a photo of me and BuboCarlisle in front of another booth which is looking like a christmas pyramid!
This was soooo huge and beautiful!!! =)
Take a look!

It's a really success and belongs to Bochum!
Tiffy said she can't imagine her Bochum without Starlight Express!
Unfortunately we didn't saw the usual Starlight Express show...
There was a charity event today. The actors of Starlight and some other "co-stars" sang other musical songs!
They had Songs from  Hair, CATS, The Lion King, The Rocky Horror Show, Moulin Rouge and so on in their program today.
They did the charity event to support a SOS children's village, and raise money for them.
I liked the show... it was really fun! There were so good singers! WOW... they really blew my mind!

And look who I met there!
I met Domino from England, he's currently staying with La Kate Boheme she's a friend of Tiffy.
So we took a photo in front of the stage...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JLLihZB46pc/Tsl1VUk2SQI/AAAAAAAAAZw/Vn4UuHQBk8o/s640/2011-11-20%25252018.54.49.jpg
We sat in the first row and had a wonderful view!
It's cool isn't it?

Oh yeah.. and this is me in front of the stage alone.

So and this is me and a snippet of the auditorium...
It looks really awesome and I think, that it would be really fun to skate along this set, like the actors normally do.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-aD8HjqTh3kE/Tsl1hFlCnaI/AAAAAAAAAaY/ltM2XaM1Gng/s512/2011-11-20%25252018.57.01.jpg

And this is me in front of the theatre...
Tiffy told me, that we will maybe go there very soon.
I hope so, cause I want to see the normal show!

And now I'm tired and I'll go to sleep.
So good night Mummy!

Lots of love

Hey Mommy!!!

On Wednesday we started to decorate Tiffys room with christmas stuff!!!
That was very funny...first we picked some christmas music... Tiffys favorite tunes for these days... some christmas Frank Sinatra Swing! Loved it!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vu3G1yyHTTk/TtKQIH0BV3I/AAAAAAAAAck/3gN8X69EuNo/s640/2011-11-23%25252020.45.10.jpg

SO we had to get the packages out of the basement... with all the stuff. And Tiffy has lots of christmas stuff!! Damn it! Take a look!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w21Kct3s-m8/TtKP1pM0c4I/AAAAAAAAAb0/hJNuDpK4Wa8/s640/2011-11-23%25252020.02.04.jpg

And the next step was the every year fun... getting those strings of christmas lights unknot!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-_LfJSQBjg-8/TtKPtly8EOI/AAAAAAAAAbc/gcENpvgnAbc/s512/2011-11-23%25252019.36.39.jpg

So and after a work of nearly 1 and a half hour Tiffys window and her windowsill looked like this! Finally!!!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--iaKQe1EAu0/TtKP4yjGZTI/AAAAAAAAAcA/nZMMqc4BE2Q/s512/2011-11-23%25252020.43.08.jpg

Oh and while we were decorating... I found Tim the Turkey.. he sings Jingle Bells when you press his hand!
He is such a funny guy...and he has the same "skin" like me! Hahahahaha!

Hey Mommy!

Today I visited the beautiful town Cologne, with Tiffy and Bubo!
We went to see a musical there... but first we went to do a bit sightseeing of Cologne.

First of all we went to see the "Hohenzollern-Bridge" it's a bridge in Cologne... where many people go and put a lock on the railings of that bridge and then you have to through the keys into the rhine river... this should bring much of luck to the couples!
Lovers from all over Germany and maybe the world put there locks there! And I tell ya,... there are possibly many hundreds of them! This really impressed me, much!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1gYzKvCt59I/TtKQP5ZcmCI/AAAAAAAAAc4/7Gg0uhyULvM/s512/2011-11-27%25252012.30.16.jpg

And this is me... also on that Bridge... looking at the Rhine... it's the river which flows through Cologne!
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Bpee8u9yk3o/TtKQTssuJsI/AAAAAAAAAdA/eB6eQ7DV1lQ/s640/2011-11-27%25252012.31.08.jpg

So and after our visit on that bridge we went to see the famous cathedral of cologne! And I'll tell ya... it's soooo huge and beautiful! WOW!
This is me in front of it! =)
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OGeU3ptaACU/TtKQfJb40lI/AAAAAAAAAdo/HYlceHoALBQ/s512/2011-11-27%25252012.59.19.jpg

And this is me inside of the cathedral! And it really impressed me! Even though the smell in there wasn't that good xD it was kinda strange ^^
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-KwQ3QodTLC4/TtKQmevRqcI/AAAAAAAAAeA/CT4Nf5GnXJQ/s512/2011-11-27%25252013.04.20.jpg

So and after our small Sightseeing Tour, we had to go to the theatre... cause we were in Cologne.. to watch the Musical "Elisabeth".
The musical is about the young Empress of Austria... maybe you heard something about her... she is also called "Sissi".
This is me in front of a huge poster at the foyer of the theatre.
You can see Elisabeth there...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HfdbRAkrEhs/TtKQp-UXCQI/AAAAAAAAAeM/6u6jH0zEnbc/s512/2011-11-27%25252013.18.04.jpg

And this is me and Carlisle with our theatre ticket... so that we were allowed to get in there and sit on a seat there! hehehee
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2tEGr5HZbkw/TtKQvJKMc3I/AAAAAAAAAeg/0reheIuzyxY/s640/2011-11-27%25252013.36.30.jpg

This is me at the auditorium! Our sight was okay... we sat on the side and a bit away from the stage (row 18) but I had a wonderful overview and saw everything! =)
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-sI7-ltVpie0/TtKQr3QYKbI/AAAAAAAAAeY/a7ecC5DIL98/s512/2011-11-27%25252013.35.34.jpg

So all in all I had an awesome day in Cologne today!
The town was beautiful and also the musical was wonderful! =)
I'm so happy, that Tiffy took me with her.
Wish you a wonderful rest sunday!
Now Tiffy has to go to sleep... cause she has to work tomorrow! xD

Talk to you soon!
Love you...

Hey there!!! =)

On Monday, the 5th, my host Tiffy had Birthday... so we celebrated a bit and Bubo and me helped her to unwrap her presents =)
It was a really cool and relaxed day! =) Tiffy didn't had to work, so we just hung around a bit and ate lots of very delicious things! =)

In the morning there were some presents from her parents...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--JQDMPPklLo/TuDWy3mINxI/AAAAAAAAAfs/e7uveCB0Y-g/s640/2011-12-05%25252008.38.58.jpg
This is me and Bubo in front of her pressies!
The gingerbread house was just a joke, because the real birthday cake wasn't ready at that time! hahaha...

And so we started to unwrap the presents!
How exciting that was!! It felt like it was my ow birthday =)
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-nqlR7FZbUI0/TuDWtxKBbFI/AAAAAAAAAfc/zlif3ZnpB4s/s640/2011-12-05%25252008.40.28.jpg

And so I played a little hide and seek with the huge present xD
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/--N6grTRTYdM/TuDW1RUL9WI/AAAAAAAAAf0/8fE2Zvw46t8/s512/2011-12-05%25252008.41.06.jpg
You want to know what was in there?? Well...

... tadadadadaaaaaa!!
"Humphrey" came out of that present!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-01fYUABjq50/TuDW4MFljZI/AAAAAAAAAf8/x-_rCxhxH18/s512/2011-12-05%25252008.48.28.jpg
Humphrey is a cute pug and he is a money box... Tiffy's Mum said, that she got this, because Tiffy wants to travel to London next year... so she has to save her money for that trip in Humphrey!

After that really exhausting unwrapping of the presents we had breakfast and Tiffy's Mum made us some bacon and scrambled eggs! What a treat!! x) Awesome! I feel like I'm home! hhehehee
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-x_WtTyUyAVo/TuDW9NNFrUI/AAAAAAAAAgM/XiA7DLYSxmE/s512/2011-12-05%25252008.59.23.jpg

And in the afternoon, Tiffy's auntie cam to visit us and we had a wonderful nut cake! Yum yum yum... =)
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-V_i82SUtIjY/TuDXAo38ZNI/AAAAAAAAAgU/BTM95px_J-U/s640/2011-12-05%25252015.05.17.jpg

And there was also one more present! xD hehehe

So as you can see, Tiffy had a wonderful birthday and I enjoyed to stay with her on that day! =)

Write to you soon!

Love and miss you Mummy! =)

Hey Mummy!!!! =)

You can't believe it! But I had a blast this weekend here in Bochum!
This was so amazing and I saw so many interesting things!
And now I want show them to you! Hehehehe =)

On Saturday Tiffy met some friends of her.. and we headed to the Starlight Express theatre again, do you remember? I was already there, for a benefit event once.
So I was so excited and thought, that we are going to watch the show... but we didn't =/
But do you know what? We did something much more cooler than just watching the show! We met one of the actors...(Graham Harvey who is also an American! Just like me!!!) And he took us backstage with him! =) Wow!!!
I saw everything! The costumes, the wigs..the orchestra, the Skatedepartment, we walked along the set and the stage! But unfortunately we didn't took some pictures, cause we weren't sure if we were allowed to do this.. and I was so amazed by all that stuff, that I forgot to ask and just enjoyed the moment!
But after our backstage trip, we took some pictures on the outside of the theatre, which is also pretty amazing!

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Iyn7SXkay9M/TuTbo1bX9rI/AAAAAAAAAhg/VspUbrNyPxQ/s512/2011-12-10%25252013.12.25.jpg
So as you can see... this is me in front of the theatre, which was especially built for Starlight Express!
Amazing, huh?

At the forecourt of the theatre stands a real carriage, which the characters of the Musical on it! =) And so this is me in front of it!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-L1nwmIAXCro/TuTbhhwxrQI/AAAAAAAAAhM/8sjlFP2nCYg/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.11.07.jpg

And there is also an old steam train at this forecourt, which is pulling the carriage!
I thought it'd be funny to sit on the stairs of it... I hope you can see me! I was sooooo small and the steam train was just way too huge for me! Damn it! xD
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CuGJASDy32A/TuTbdgbUywI/AAAAAAAAAg8/EGUbhB4QLik/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.11.47.jpg

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YjO_wDnhTL0/TuTbfibErYI/AAAAAAAAAhE/3Ms5G1odFuo/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.12.11.jpg

And this is also me in front of the train! Hell yeah! I'm just a small small small horse in this world... I guess =/ xD
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LZ52E8icNMY/TuTbv8vvOiI/AAAAAAAAAh4/K8FlKWI7HMk/s512/2011-12-10%25252013.14.05.jpg

at the sides of the theatre building are the stage doors, where the actors enter their working place. On each side is one... so there are two, Tiffy told me, that it could be sometimes really complicated, if you want on one door, to talk to one of the actors, and then they take the other door! That's annoying! Hahaha xD
But we didn't waited at these doors, on saturday. But Tiffy showed me one of them... and this is how it looks.
There is a huge poster with all characters of the show!
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-U2ADodjP4vs/TuTb9OxKn8I/AAAAAAAAAiU/kigKXeDKcdE/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.25.04.jpg

This guy is Tiffy's favorite at the show, at the moment. It's the electric loco, Electra.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uVDpUCv-sXI/TuTbz53Qj2I/AAAAAAAAAiE/KNUdP2QntPw/s512/2011-12-10%25252013.19.58.jpg

And this was kinda my favorite, even though I still don't know the show! AAARGH! xD
This is Ashley the smoking carriage... I love it, that she has the same color as me! x) hehehe, this was very sympathetic! I hope that I'm going to meet her in real one day! <3 *-*
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IIfW91TynRQ/TuTb4JtSwlI/AAAAAAAAAiM/POP_ya55Kcc/s512/2011-12-10%25252013.24.38.jpg

Afterwards we went along that area there, and there is the soccer stadium of Bochum, it's called "Rewirpower Stadion" Tiffy doesn't like this name, because it's a sponsoring name. Once the stadium was named the "Ruhrstadion"... the "Ruhr" is a river which flows through Bochum. If you ask me, I'd also prefer the Name "Ruhrstadion". And this stadium is very close to the Starlight Express theatre. So we took some pictures there... and during our little shooting, there was the soccer-match in the stadium!
But we didn't went in to watch it!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bbLr4zvHH7s/TuTcMahwLGI/AAAAAAAAAjA/RRaw0YcBYzk/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.35.28.jpg

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Yxi6MuEgs9o/TuTcMPALLxI/AAAAAAAAAi8/7mdhNkPmrrU/s640/2011-12-10%25252013.40.59.jpg

Unfortunately Bochum didn't won this match... it was just a 1:1 result....

So and this is me on a motorway bridge! This motorway is the most jammed one in the whole "Ruhr Area"! It connects many different cities there, and so there is always a traffic jam. But not when I wanted to watch a traffic jam! Boooooh!! xD
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SZ1x96AsyQs/TuTccKeGtPI/AAAAAAAAAjw/_muwNs2ABQs/s640/2011-12-10%25252014.01.05.jpg

So and after this very exciting saturday, we had a meal at "Subway" The Sandwich was really good, and reminded me of home! <3
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-W4cPqxl4ozI/TuTePazzQxI/AAAAAAAAAqs/FoS50SfeGk0/s640/2011-12-10%25252016.49.45.jpg

So as you can see, I had a wonderful saturday... my sunday was wonderful as well, but I'm going to tell you later, cause I have to choose the photos of it! Hehehehe!

Love you! =)

Hey Mummy!!! =)

As I already told you before, Tiffy and me, went to the german mining museum, in Bochum on Sunday!
It was really exciting…. Did you know, that Bochum and the whole “Ruhr Area” where a typical mining region some years ago? It was called the black part of Germany… because here was so much industry and no green places. But now things have changed and there are just a hand full of cole mines in this area.
So we went to the museum to take a look, how it was here some years ago.

This is me in front of the mining museum. The shaft tower is one of Bochum’s landmarks! It looks really high… I guess you have a nice overview of Bochum up there! =)
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_CZK594Db4s/TuTcbhSn_OI/AAAAAAAAAjs/Jtv8jQzdCaM/s640/2011-12-10%25252014.19.48.jpg

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-BLJUJ0zKonY/TuTcfI5JQ8I/AAAAAAAAAj8/KmRPJm_vT7A/s640/2011-12-10%25252014.20.02.jpg

So I asked Tiffy to climb up there… to enjoy the wonderful sight of Bochum!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-gRY3dWMJIRU/TuTcr2AJyGI/AAAAAAAAAkk/oJpxbfQ2gHo/s800/2011-12-10%25252014.28.54.jpg

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9fH4aKhx-rc/TuTfh2jDBUI/AAAAAAAAAr0/zyKI1m69Q4g/s800/SAM_0709.JPG

This is me in front of the shaft’s tower wheel…
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AyQLfJ_1tXI/TuTeeaxtswI/AAAAAAAAAq8/tkPdvmAL2n4/s800/SAM_0693.JPG

So and after our trip up… we went down. This is me in front of the elevator… waiting for my journey to start down to the earth!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-09-qOE7-qvs/TuTcoJgB8SI/AAAAAAAAAkc/ri7n4ca-BK4/s800/2011-12-10%25252014.26.16.jpg

So and down at the tunnel it was really interesting!
I saw some interesting old machines, which were used back in these days!
And the tunnels were really dark and some of them totally small. I was glad that I was just a small owl, so I fitted perfectly through those tunnels xD

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_Trh0koERB8/TuTc2nqw05I/AAAAAAAAAlM/jdiBDnpYBdA/s800/2011-12-10%25252014.42.33.jpg

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-axHuOIU18BE/TuTdpuVnDlI/AAAAAAAAAoU/fkrX5RWkWYw/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.10.23.jpg

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-x0-BrUB6kWk/TuTdXflTcEI/AAAAAAAAAnM/FBEsiZQz9ks/s800/2011-12-10%25252015.02.34.jpg

And down there I met, "Tobias". He was the last mining horse.
Can you believe, that also horses had to work in the tunnels?
I'm really glad that I'm not living in these times, and that I'm allowed to travel to world, instead of working under the earth, without sun and fresh air!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wazd6zO_Fsk/TuTdbvI7lBI/AAAAAAAAAnc/oCWNWIvF4B4/s640/2011-12-10%25252014.59.07.jpg

This is me on a litter, which was used down in the tunnels to carry around the workers who had an accident and where ill or something like that.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9AaQo7YLEEM/TuTdQ5jPh0I/AAAAAAAAAm0/gbmG4uBCGck/s800/2011-12-10%25252014.57.31.jpg

Coal miners this way…. okay, so let’s go on!!!! hehehehe
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-yOstH5DnNwg/TuTdmwvt03I/AAAAAAAAAoI/ue7CJpfVgQY/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.04.23.jpg

This is Bubo and me sitting in one of the mine trains, who used to drive around the mine and it brought the mine workers to their working places. There are so tiny, that it was hard to believe, that adult men were sitting in these trains! WOW!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZLM9U4X0tS4/TuTdf_TgdwI/AAAAAAAAAns/m1jfsndZLGg/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.06.09.jpg

I found a phone down there… I tried to call you, and say hello and tell you where I am…. But I had no service down there! This was annoying!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-7ryePoLZSQA/TuTdvCxA7NI/AAAAAAAAAok/-MyjHmGzpYI/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.13.17.jpg

This is a really huge machine… and it was hard to believe, that this was used down there!
I wonderd… how the hell did they get this machine down there? xD
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yLQjsUaQL5E/TuTd7HuC0NI/AAAAAAAAApY/FEmYiCueoz4/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.20.20.jpg

This is a „saving-bomb“ .
It helped to save the life of the workers, if there was an accident and the tunnels broke down.
So they could get in there, so that they didn’t get hurt by the huge rocks and all that stuff!
And so it was possible for the savers  to carry them up.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tvhGB_rO698/TuTeAWveoTI/AAAAAAAAAps/sSFU0znq5C8/s800/2011-12-10%25252015.23.14.jpg

And this is a mining car, who was used to deliver the cole around the tunnels and it brought the cole to the belt conveyers.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-3OcY3id4h8I/TuTeC6jNtcI/AAAAAAAAAp4/xEioXzsP81o/s800/2011-12-10%25252015.25.20.jpg

And this is one of those many belt conveyers which were used.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-92F8DvoGXSk/TuTeFsx7ciI/AAAAAAAAAqE/S35PTly1y64/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.27.41.jpg

And then I saw somehting really interessting.
The musem has a special exhibition at the moment, which shows some mining things from Chile.
And there you can also see the real “saving-bomb” which was used at the mining tragedy in 2010.
So I stood for this thing, which I only knew from TV and it was great to see it in real and it impressed me much, as I thought about, how many lives it saved and how much joy I brought to the families of these workers! WOW!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Pe_xIiVsfMQ/TuTeL5NM2jI/AAAAAAAAAqc/n3ptdbnenUk/s640/2011-12-10%25252015.58.17.jpg

So as you can see…
I had a really wonderful and interesting weekend here in Bochum and I saw one of the most important places of Bochum. Starlight Express and the mining museum.

Talk to you soon!
Love and miss you, Mummy!

Hey mummy!!!

Tiffy was quite busy this week so far, so I had no chance to update my Travelog earlier, cause Tiffy had still the photos of the last weekend!

But now here they are and I hope you have fun!
As you know, Tiffy had birthday this months and she became 21...
so this was a reason to celebrate! =)
So we had a belated birthday party together with a friend of Tiffy (who also became 21) and it was a real fun!
It was a theme party... so we had to get dressed up in Casino Style... cause it was supposed to be a Casino Party! Wuhuhuu!!!

So this is me and Bubo... sitting at the roulette station all suited up.
The tie and the topper suits me pretty much, huh?
I think I should wear this more often ^^

Yummy pasta salat... okay, this was not typical for a casino... but it was delicious!!! =)

So and this is me... gambling at the poker table.
Unfortunateley I didn't get the royal flush this eve... the luck wasn't on my side =/

Hey Mummy!!!

Sorry for this late Christmas update!!! But there was also a very busy week here, and so Tiffy wasn't able to give me the photos earlier!
Sorry!!!! But now you can see, how I celebrated Christmas in Germay!! Yeaaah!

This is me and Bubo... helping to wrap the christmas pressies on the morning of the 24th... ^^
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZbFGpoWvU2A/Tvyr6myRqfI/AAAAAAAAAv8/hV6EYpg7ROI/s640/2011-12-24%25252012.14.38.jpg

Unfortunately there was no christmas tree at Tiffy's home this year... but we still had a wonderful christmas eve..

we had lots of Candies... reminded me of you, I'm sure you'd have loved it! =)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZFdHSEvlXnw/TvysCBaTIYI/AAAAAAAAAwU/9-JkwCTONKY/s640/2011-12-24%25252017.34.41.jpg

we had some egg liqueur...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-zaWqQSQbgQk/Tvysbm6d1_I/AAAAAAAAAxI/jHd0yzGy6DM/s640/2011-12-24%25252017.50.20.jpg

we had a typical christmas eve dinner... potatoe salad and sausage! Many germans eat this on christmas eve... but I don't know why? Maybe it's because, it's very easy to make or something? Tiffy also doesn't know it... but it was delicious!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-MEe8AgnWIhU/TvyrzLCITRI/AAAAAAAAAvY/8cfg5Fz097o/s512/2011-12-24%25252018.46.52.jpg

We helped Tiffy to unwrap her pressies... and afterwards we sat down in the paper chaos! I hope you can see me!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cr_SPhEv_Nc/TvysSPph93I/AAAAAAAAAw4/bFmdscise6I/s640/2011-12-24%25252017.38.20.jpg

And I got also a little present.
This is me with it...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-MT4EGI7PAMQ/TvysdPOb43I/AAAAAAAAAxQ/p6a3hJw0o50/s512/2011-12-24%25252017.39.01.jpg

This is me unwrapping it...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-17yW4f78zdc/TvysV615wtI/AAAAAAAAAxA/sK6sBbrO37A/s512/2011-12-24%25252017.39.53.jpg

and this is me... happy with some chocolate!! hahaha! =)
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-OyBwTlUoiMo/Tvysd16937I/AAAAAAAAAxU/HGs6x7d87nA/s512/2011-12-24%25252017.40.10.jpg

And this is me and Bubo with a funny guy, Tiffy got... it's a Fluffling and it makes really funny sounds and all that stuff! And it's sp fluffy! Tiffy called him Fuzzy-Wuzzy xD
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PAXQkOTB1-k/TvysCBbYlfI/AAAAAAAAAwQ/jAmRT6P2PQU/s640/2011-12-24%25252017.35.20.jpg

So and after all that drinking, eating and unwrapping we played some cards!! =) But somehow I didn't understand that game oO

Hey mommy!!!

On saturday we went to the theatre Dortmund to watch a musical.
It was called "The Full Monty" and it was about unemployed steelworkers, who wanted to create their own strip show! Hahahahaha!
This was really funny! I had a lot of fun there! =)

This is me in the foyer of the theatre... it was really beautiful with these lights, I think! =)

And this is me in the audience room and this was our view from our box-seats! Really great I think!! The stage was still that close!!
WOW!

Hey there, it's me again!!

This was a real cultural weekend, I had!
As you already know, we went to the theatre on saturday to watch a musical.
And on sunday we went to watch a musical again! Damn it!!! xD
Hahaha... Tiffy is a huge fan of it... and so we headed to Oberhausen to watch one of the world's most famous musicals... CATS.
The seats we hade were toally awesome!!!
We sat in the 2nd row direct next to the stage! Wow...
I was sitting there and during the show I was able to stare the Cats in their eyes! That was so awesome! The music was beautiful and the costumes were totally great!

This is me in front of the stage! =)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-zFBE5IpWfbw/Tw8ZWzElhsI/AAAAAAAAAz4/y9qIAW_H3zQ/s640/2012-01-08%25252018.44.19.jpg

The stage is looking like an old junkyard. Really cool! =)

So this was my small report about my cultural musical weekend.

Talk to you soon!

Love you!! =)

Hey Mummy!!! =)

Today Tiffy took us,me and Bubo with her for a walk during her lunch break.
It was such a nice wheater. The sun was shining but it was really cold.

We went through the city district, where Tiffy is working.
She works at a Travel Agency and it's next to the theatre of Bochum.
This is me in front of it.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zCMu7qnLlDY/TxW9P2lpcfI/AAAAAAAAA0w/XKqzqDUL1nM/s640/2012-01-16%25252013.51.41.jpg

And right next to it there is a square which is called the "William Shakespeare Square" Really cool, huh?
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-JNAHXO4_zsE/TxW9o2QhnJI/AAAAAAAAA1Y/rJpQLUPp_Co/s512/2012-01-16%25252014.01.47.jpg

So and this whole district is a bit arty...
There are some small shops and small cafés.

And look what funny thing we found...
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-W90MJB6MX4I/TxW9wB5gySI/AAAAAAAAA1g/hlLyGeLRXrs/s512/2012-01-16%25252014.09.18.jpg
This is normally a street sign... and this is the pole of it.
And well.. someone knit a "coat" for it, that it looks a bit better... and there is also a small guy hanging around there... how funny is that?? I loved it! =)

And there was also a ballard with a knitted hat! Hahahaha that looked really cool! =)
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3pIhlbv9-7w/TxW9-yua5RI/AAAAAAAAA14/ILFilZ9MsEk/s512/2012-01-16%25252014.10.19.jpg

So and this is me and Bubo.. sitting on a bench and enjoying some warm sun beams.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vC8SskLuOsE/TxW9Q_gno5I/AAAAAAAAA04/uZ9PKjr-N54/s512/2012-01-16%25252013.55.07.jpg

As you can see... I had a wonderful cold but sunny walk through a small part of Bochum! =)

Oh and Tiffy told me, that she will send me home this week.
So we will meet again in some days, mummy! =)

Greetings Carlisle
