Hi there!  My name is Obie and I'm a singing and performing bear!  My favorite song is \"Sugar Pie Honey Bunch\" and I'll sing it for you if we meet!

I'm here in San Diego ready to head off on my World Tour!  I've done some traveling before through South America, but now I'm ready to do it right, with a blog and everything!

Hi!  I just wanted to send a quick note to my wonderful family in San Diego to let them know I arrived in Kentucky safe and sound!!

I got here on Saturday, but had to sit on the front porch all day in that box because no one was home!  Oh - and it was COLD!  Add to that, I had to sit on top of that huge chocolate bar too!!  But the mom of this new foster family finally got home and got me out of the cold and out of the box!

The only little one here that day was the smallest one (she's a real cutie!!).  I sang my song for her and she seemed to like it!

I got to meet the other two girls and the dad on Sunday.  After they went to church, I got to go outside and play with them for a while.  (It was a little warmer than it was when I had to sit on the porch, thank goodness.)  They said I couldn't go to church with them because they were afraid that I might just burst into song at any moment, and they were afraid that might be a bit too much!  (What's THAT all about??)

Anyhow, the older girls are off at school today.  I keep posing for pictures, but no one seems to be getting my hints!  Hopefully, they'll take a picture or two soon to let you know I'm okay!!!!

Hi-Just updating Obie's map. :D

Well - the girls in this family seem to love me!  (But who wouldn't love me??)  We still haven't had any real adventures, but I thought I'd check in and let you know I'm okay!  It's still chilly here in Kentucky, and it rained all day yesterday....and last night too!

It is fall here and the leaves are really pretty!  They are all yellow and red and orange - - such a pretty sight!

My hints have finally been recognized and we went out for a few pictures today.  Now if this silly lady who is "Mom" can figure out how to put them in my travelog, you'll be able to see that I really am okay!!

I hear that there is a class field trip planned for tomorrow - and I think I get to go too!  So hopefully, there will be a few more pictures soon!

UUGGHH!  The attachment uploads failed to work!  She has to go to work soon, so she'll try again tomorrow!!  (I'm sorry, I know you want to see me!!)

Yay!  I think we got the pictures to work!!!!!

Well - I'm disappointed!!  I got to go visit B1's 2nd grade class today, and that was fun, BUT.....
Remember how I was excited about going on the field trip?  Well, B1's teacher wouldn't let me go! :(
"Mom" doesn't know why, so everyone (not just me) is disappointed!  We went someplace that "Mom" was really excited about - thinking it would be a good place for me to visit.  So, she says she'll take us back there, so we can get some pictures!  Maybe Sunday......
So sad and feeling left out.....

Halloween is in just 2 days!!  Wish it were possible for ME to eat some candy!  Do you think my everyday outfit will pass as a reasonable costume??  I sure hope so!
We had a little bit of fun today after the girls were home from school.  "Dad" helped us make some jack-o-lanterns....then we ate the pumpkin seeds!!

Yesterday was HALLOWEEN!  Do you know what that means??  Halloween means candy!  Candy, candy, candy!!!!

The girlies got all dressed up in costumes and we went trick-or-treating!  Fun!!! :)

Well - - We've told Obie that he is moving on!  The girls are sad to see him go, and we will miss him.  But Obie is very excited to see what new adventures await him in Oregon!!  He's been very well behaved while here in Kentucky, and we are sure that he will continue to be the perfect little gentleman as he goes about his wide and varied travels.  He was a little nervous tonight as we prepared him for the next leg of his journey.  I think he might be a bit claustrophobic, as he looked at the box as if to say, "Are you serious???"  :stare:  But he's ready to go now and we'll be heading to the post office some time tomorrow......

I have arrived in Grand Junction. Piyo and Klaus left Oregon ahead of me but I had a first class ticket so we all arrived at the same time.  It snowed just after we arrived and we have been stranded but should get out and about tomorrow maybe.

Here we are still in the house.  It has stopped snowing and the sun is shining but wourpet has told us it is still far too cold to play outside yet.

Klaus and me and Piyo are watching out the window for warnmer weather to come.

Today I finally ventured outside and was singing on a rock in the sun for awhile but my lips stuck to my microphone.
It is still very cold and wourpet said it usually very much warmer.

I am going back inside to sing some Christmas carols.  Blue Christmas might be a good one.

Today was a very quiet day but I was allowed to play in the Christmas tree.  There were some new ornaments that came from other TVs and mentors.
