Hello world!
Here I am! I lived here in my own Garden-Center-Jungle, only my brothers and sisters were here, too. Today I heard some funny noises. They giggled and gaggled and laught a lot. I took the risk for a look out of my palms, and I saw some real funny guys! They sat in a red bag and looked for a palm to climb for Mooky. As I understood, Mooky was a little monkey from USA visiting Germany. And do you know, what I did? I called my brothers and sisters and told them what I have seen. Than we deciced, that we all want to follow this group of interesting boys and girls. and - thank god- we are very fast, we hopped into the red bag noisless. Nobody heard us coming , nobody saw us! |
Noisy Posted Mar 5, 2012, 6:32 pm |
Today my brothers and I should sit down and be quiet.
That was a hard job for us, but Noisy want to make a picture that shows our Monkey-Gang. Oh, I am the cute girl sitting on the sofa |
Noisy Posted Mar 10, 2012, 7:06 am |
Before I will start my first trip today, Hessen-Leo wanted to show me some nice houses in the Old-City of Limburg.
Noisy will write some descriptions between the pictures, but this must be shown to her this noon by her son, *she is a little stupid with this things* |
Noisy Posted Mar 10, 2012, 7:15 am |
Noisy has got an invitation for sending one of her TVs on the ETVT, and she couldn't choose one herself. All possible candidates were very cute and each one has its own character.
So we decided to make a lottery, the one and only prize was the traveltag. Fiete was our fortune. And the winner of the travel-tag was my sister YoYo! I wish her a lot of fun and very nice hosts on her adventures. |

hello mommy!
after WEEKS of travelling in a shaking box i have finally arrived. haha, very funny. i have got a lamp but nothing to read. grumbl! so i ate the chocolate. pffff suddenly the shaking stopped and my travel box was dropped heavily. ouch! i am a lady, be careful! my nails! strange sounds. it was like someone tried hard to open the box. then another little monkey and a smiling teddy looked into the box: "hellooooo? somebody in here?" they opened the box an came nearer. those guys asked all kinds of questions. they were quite curious. we talked and talked the whole night. i think those people are really nice guys! it was a very warm welcome. we ate all the rest of the sweets. good bye mommy, i miss you |

orangesunshine Posted Mar 16, 2012, 6:59 pm |
hello mommy.
today we, 3*euro and i went to a borough of berlin called spandau. spandau has a nice old town. spandau is 7 years older than berlin. to move through the city we dicided to lend a shopping trolley. so we were able to take some snacks with us. we started at the market place ... ... moved on to saint nicolai's church. in front of it is a statue of marquis joachim, who converted with his people to the lutheran faith. view to the borough hall at the end of the main street. this is an old brewery. they serve tasty beer here. it has many ... ... old houses. river havel. the disadvantage of old cities the streets are humbling. back to saint nicolai's. berlin water works have funny gullies with pivtures of the city's sights. later we went to the citadel, europe's best preserved renaissance castle from the 16th century. albrecht the bear, the first german count in this area. julius tower. it burried the prussian state treasure. time for a snack. we decided to dash down this ramp. hahahaha ... at the end we turned over with the trolley. but it was really funny! bye bye mommy, this was a funny day with good weather |
orangesunshine Posted Mar 18, 2012, 12:29 pm |
hello mommy.
ey ... what's this? it is me and 3*euro sleeping on a very comfortable banana leaf. after waking up ... ... we have had a very healthy breakfast. hmmmm ... tasty strawberries. since the weather was very nice - with a smiling sun and warm temperatures - we drove our trolley to a park. do you see the royal bird on the lake? a building called belvedere, good view. it used to be the tea house of the kings and queens. now it has a porcellain exhibition. good we haven't brought the elephants with us! old buildings are not trolley accessible. nice flowers. a good place for a snack. charlottenburg castle. cobble stones on the yard. later we decided to go shopping. then we drove to the former airport in tempelhof, now a huge park. it was strange to move on former airport runways. this was a really nice day. bye bye mommy - i miss you. p.s.: 3euro is a friendly and handsome boy, isn't he? |
orangesunshine Posted Mar 20, 2012, 10:11 pm |
huhu sisters and brothers and mommy.
this is me an my friend 3*euro. today we tried something special. the count (one of the plushies here) told us we should fly. hea? fly? yes he said, with a flying cup. errr, it was not easy to fly with a coffee cup. everybody is able to fly a sorcer. but a cup? here we landed at a strange bridge: the old sewer system crosses a canal overground. they have built funny things a hundred years ago. modern architecture. the canal ("landwehrkanal" for insiders). more ... ... modern ... ... architecture. the tree behind us threw something at us ... ... but missed us. hehe. hey mommy! look at this funny house boat on the other side of the canal. today springtime has begun. some trees have got fresh leaves. see them? then we flew ... ... a little bit through the city. hey! what's this? some trees grow strange fruits: faces! unbelievable. look at those chimneys! behind us is a malt factory of a large beer brewery. flying around in a cup, was very funny. bye bye mommy and sisters and brothers: i miss you all! |
orangesunshine Posted Mar 25, 2012, 8:01 pm |
hello mommy.
the last two days have been very surprising and exciting. after a quick and strong coffee early yesterday morning (i really MEAN early!) one of the elefants, 3*euro and me took place in a very comfortable travel bag. after some hours (we could sleep a little bit.) the three of us climbed out of the bag. mommy, where have we got to? let's go through this town and see where we have landed. must be a big city. Mommy, do you regognize this town? the weather was nice, warm and sunny. so we decided to visit a big park. look, here is a large tower. it was funny to slide down this sculpture. huuuuueeeee! the elephant found a nice lawn to have a break. we were waiting, but no train came along. we saw many nice flowers ... ... and strange sculptures. what tree is this? looks like summer is coming. this was a very nice visit to this park. we went back to the underground and returned ... ... to the city centre. yesterday evening we were very tired and fell asleep quite soon. today we had a good plan. right after breakfast ... ... we wanted to visit a coal mining site. yes we found some coal. it did not taste good ... ... so we went further without it. on the lawn we made a lunch break. then we returned back to the town. there we found out ... ... that they have a beer museum. see the bottling machine? at the end we were able to drink some beer out of a barrel. yummy, very yummy. mommy, did you find out, were we have been yesterday and today? bye bye, i miss you (a little bit) p.s.: 3*euro is a good boy, a good friend of mine! |
orangesunshine Posted Mar 25, 2012, 8:45 pm |
hello mommy.
today we started with a small trolley race! unbelievable how fast bears drive! unbelievable how slow wulfs drive! it really was fun ... ... to speed up an the parquet floor. hah hah! when we heard the braekfast call, the concentration of our drivers was gone: they hit frontally! after braekfast we visited potsdam. today we took the flying coffee cup. this brandenburg gate in potsdam. one of the old town gates, that you still can see. potsdam is, where king frederick the great built his residential castle on a vineyard. Yes: a vineyard in prussia! is it a myth that they used the wine from this yard instead of salad dressing? who knows? the castle really is a nice one: it is called sanssouci = without sorrow. what a good name for a nice castle like this! in the park of sanssouci there are a number of other castles. this is the orangerie, where they still store the orange trees (and others) during wintertime. and they also have a chinese tea house. what a nice idea! mommy i love you! |
orangesunshine Posted Apr 1, 2012, 11:46 am |
hello mommy.
this morning we all were just trolling around our hosts' appartment. suddenly a strange noise came up: "queekqueekqueek...". we all came nearer to see who was coming. it was a funny car with a real BIG yellow pig and a small blue elephant. the resident plushies all were very excited: it was a new guest from switzerland: miggy and brought little napoleon back home ... we all were so happy to see napoleon back home. especially his brother hannibal. we wre also curious to see miggy the new guest. he piled up a lot of swiss chocolat he brought brought along. since it is 3*euro's last day here, we have planned a farewell tea party. so we decided to make it a real big welcome and farewell tea party! i really was a great party. it's a pity that 3*euro has to leave tomorrow. will i see him again? many greatings - see you soon! more pictures of the party? |

hello mommy.
this morning we stood up very early to say good bye to 3*euro. he has to leave for his next adventures. i guess me and 3*euro have become good friends. he is a nice guy. i gave him a chocolat bunny as an easter present. then he jumped into his travel box. hihi ... i gave him a tiny little kiss then they closed his box and brought him to the post office. i am a bit sad now. will i see him again? |
orangesunshine Posted Apr 5, 2012, 6:51 am |
hello mommy.
it has become quieter here since 3*euro left. i also think, that the plushies here in the house have something in mind for this weekend. there must be something special. hm, let's see yesterday my host took me with him in his car. we drove from one of his jobs to the next. well the weather was not tooooo good. but i have seen something. better than staying at home. berlin is really a big town. every day you can see something different. this is charlottenburg townhall. charlottenburg is one of the old borroughs of berlin. before it joined with berlin it was prussia's richest town. you can tell this from this huge townhall. it also has modern buildings ... ... like these at a big traffic circle ... ... or near zoo railway station. lovely greetings. i miss you, mommy! |
orangesunshine Posted Apr 6, 2012, 3:29 pm |
hello mommy!
today the sun was shining. me and miggy went to napoleon's favorite park: britzer garten. we wanted to see, which flowers were already blooming. mommy, am i beautyful? i found a helmet, but miggy said i would not need one. i have no idea what this sign means, but i have been here! i saw strange faces in trees. we found a lot of blooming cherry trees. look how beautyful this is! miggy held me a little higher so i could hear these flowers sound like little bells. mommy, it has been a nice day in a nice park. miggy is a very good guy to accompany me. warm greetings, mommy, i miss you |
orangesunshine Posted Apr 8, 2012, 4:36 pm |
hello mommy, this is what we have done for easter today.
me, miggy, napoleon, and the other guys went to a large park. little bunny, little teddy, and the two big elephants started to hide easter eggs and other chocolat candies. we, the others had to wait for their return. the sun came out, so we were fond of miggy's shadow. then we started to search for the eggs. we returned with so many sweets! we would need a new trolley. then we restarted. we returned from our second round. later napoleon and wulfy returned from their second round. yummy, what a great harvest. we carried it home. we nearly ate all of it. this was a very good easter party! everyone at home: i wish you a happy easter. kisses. |

hello mommy.
today is my last day. tonight i will move to dr.kröbner. this is what i have done this weekend: me and the other plushies have played dice. we have eaten strawberries and listened to the ice guys telling stories from the poles sitting on their ice block. and we played the cup jump game. first i have not understood the rules. but after a bit of practising i found out how funny it is! i made it! little teddy made it. little bunny made it. of course: jumping is his element. wulfy missed one cup. poor guy! i.c. bear made it. hannibal had a problem: he was to big, so one cup stuck on him! hua hua hua ... this was funny!!! we have made a group photo. do you recognize me? i am the one with the tied bow on the head. later i packed my things. everyone helped me. i jumped into the box. and said thank you my friends. it was very good to meet you! then they closed the box and carried it to the stage coach station. oh dear! i forgot to ask for something to read ... dimwit me! bye bye mommy. see you at my next place. yours, joesy |

Hi mummy,
yesterday I enjoyed a very sunny Sunday. Hostmum found a old rubberboat called “Gummischnulli” so I could made a boattrip on the gardenpond. Suddenly between the reed I discovered a little frog. I invited him to join my boattrip, he was afraid of water... I asked what could happen when I`ll kiss him, but his answer was unfortunately not princelike.. .. so I didn´t. After the sea voyage me and the other TV´s helped Hostmum with the gardening and what´s that…. The Easterbunny on a Motorscooter!!!! He told at first he nearly oversleep eastern in case of his broken alarmclock! And to the second misfortune he loose the right way and lost his GPS-navigater…. He was soooooo luck to meet us and we told him that he is now in Delligsen. Easterbunny means that it´s to late for Eastepresents, so we decided to eat the eastereggs together. Look mum…. What a wounderful proud body!!! Should I kiss him or not???? After the yummy noshes we finishd the gardening and enjoyed the warm eveningsun. It was a realy nice and funny day…. love you Joesy PS. Hi!
I have arrived in Finland! Today was a bit sad day because we had to say goodbye to Gwënelle who will travel to Germany soon. But it was nice to meet her! We had a small party: It was nice to meet you, Gwënelle! Later in the evening my host mum's sister came back home. I heard that she is hosting toyvoyagers, too. Her TV's also wanted to say goodbye to Gwënelle, so we had a new party. Mum, look, Barnabas is here, too! This is Frederik and he is also hosted by my host mum's sister. Frederik is sooooo small, and so cute! I think I'm going to have a nice summer in Finland! Next weekend they are celebrating the midsummer here and I'll spend it in the countryside! |
emmakko Posted Jul 4, 2012, 3:23 pm |
Hi mum!
I had a really good timing! This weekend they are celebrating the midsummer here in Finland, and I'm here to celebrate it, too! In the morning we went to my host family's summer cottage. My host mum told me that most Finns spend their midsummer at the summer cottage. It's a tradition. In the evening, after bathing in the sauna, we drove to the village near the summercottage to see the midsummer fire. Enjoy the beautiful Finnish midsummer views! As you can see, the sun is shining. Emma told me that this is a very untypical midsummer eve because it's not raining. There were some 150 people watching the fire. Local ladies were selling coffee and really tasty coffee bread. Someone was playing the guitar and some people were brave enough to dance! An old coffee pot: A long time ago when the roads were in a bad condition and people didn't have cars, the easiest way to go to the chruch on Sunday was to go there by boat. As not everyone had a boat of their own and the way to the church was long the village had one huge boat so that everyone could go to the church together. This boat is over 100 years old and still in a good condition. A river near the place where the midsummer fire was: Nice views from Finland: The next photos were taken at the summer cottage at 12 o'clock at night. It wasn't dark at all because in the midsummer the sun is shining almost all the time, also at night. All the black spots in the following photo are mosquitoes! There were so many mosquitoes there, especially at night! They almost made us mad!!!!! This plant never has any flowers but an old Finnish tradition says that it actually has flowers, but only at the midsummer night, and the one who sees the flower of this plant will be really lucky the rest of their life. We didn't find any... Instead Suny and I decided to pick seven different flowers and put them under our pillows, because if you do so at the midsummer night you'll dream about your future husband! |

I had a great day today!
I was small enough to follow my host mum to Garden Party in Helsinki! It was a music festival with different artists from Finland and Sweden. The concerts were held in a huge tent so it was quite dark there and the quality of the photos isn't so good. But here I am, in the first row, of course: It was a good idea to have the concerts in the tent because it was raining and thundering outside... We arrived at the festival area at five o'clock when a Swedish singer Laleh started playing. My host mum had heard only one of her songs before but the songs she played in the Garden Party sounded so good that my host mum is her fan now The next band was Pariisin kevät from Finland. It looks like this: And last but not least it was kent's turn to play. Kent is one of the most popular Swedish bands and has been my host mum's favourite band since she was 13 So, we were there because kent was there. By the way, this wasn't the first time my host mum saw kent live! Kent played the first song of the concert in a small room that looked like a garage: This guy is the singer of kent: And this handsome guy here is the bass player: My host mum's friend who was in the concert with us is living near the park where the concert was held and she invited us to her apartment so that we didn't need to drive back home the same night. |

Hey Mum! today 3*Euro and I traveled on to our next host, it will be mcdaniels in Paderborn!
we are both very excited! Hugs to you, Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 23, 2012, 10:19 pm |
Dear Mum,
today morning 3*Euro and me reached Paderborn! We are so happy to travel together!!! Sitting in the dark small parcel we listened to the voices outside...and suddenly we saw the point of a knife right above us But we had no time to scream, because we heard a deep voice saying: "Don't be afraid! Though I'm a pirate, I can be very careful." And a moment later the parcel was open. We watched into four expectant faces: Störte, Walt Duck, Knirrie and Konsta. After a very warm welcome we showed them all our little things we've collected on our journeys so far and I think they were very impressed. Then we sat together talking about our experiences as TVs. And now I'm very tired, Mummy. Good night, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 25, 2012, 4:36 pm |
Hi Mummy,
yesterday we had to say good-bye to Störte who started to his next journey, a secret mission! And in the evening we went to hostmum's parents for watching football on TV: Dortmund against Bremen. After fortifying ourselves with pizza and icecream the match began. Dortmund is hostmum's and her mother's native town, so we all shouted for Dortmund and Dortmund won All the best, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 26, 2012, 9:37 pm |
Oh Mummy, imagine, yesterday I completed another life mission!!! I've learned how to drive a tractor !
When hostmum heard about this mission she went together with me and 3*Euro to friends of her who have a farm. When hostmum explained them that I wanted to learn how to drive a tractor they first gave me a very small tractor for getting some "tractor-feeling". After driving a little bit they were convinced of my talent And then they showed me a real tractor and explained me all his functions: I learned about the clutch, the accelerator, the brake, the gear change...and I had to jump from pedal to pedal to steering wheel and back again...it was fantastic! And imagine, it became even better: the farmers showed and explained me their biggest tractor! Wow! Can you find me on every picture? I trained and trained and at last the farmers attested me that I can drive a tractor And 3*Euro was a witness of my tractor training and I think he was proud of me Best wishes, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 26, 2012, 9:54 pm |
Mummy, driving a tractor is super!!!
Today morning hostmum surprised me with a nice blue tractor. I immediately started to drive...and I drove and drove and drove and drove....and drove... Unfortunately it started to rain, but hostmum gave me a raincoat and so I drove on and drove and drove and drove...driving a tractor is fantastic!!! Perhaps it was a bit boring for the others...but not for me!! Yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 27, 2012, 8:43 pm |
Hi Mum,
now we had to say goodbye to Walt Duck who started to his next host. And in the evening 3*Euro, Konsta, Knirrie and me went to an open-air theatre watching "The murderer of women"...it was very thrilling and I was thankful having 3*Euro next to me Yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 1, 2012, 9:13 pm |
Hi Mum,
yesterday it was hostmum's birthday. In the early morning 3*Euro, Knirrie, Konsta and me surprised her with a nice birthday song. She was very delighted at the quartet Unfortunately she had to go to work, but in the afternoon we had a birthday teatime in the garden of hostmum's parents. We were allowed to eat as much cake as we could, wow! And in the evening we had a party at home with candlelight, chocolate for the TVs and a table fireworks: you had to light a fuse, then a fire fountain lighted eight candles and the melody "happy birthday" rang out...very special All the best, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 3, 2012, 5:17 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday we drove to Paderborn by bus. First Konsta showed us the cathedral and the "window of the three hares" which is a part of the cathedral and landmark of Paderborn: three hares with only three ears, but every hare has got two ears! And then we went to hostmum's favourite café for drinking coffee and tea with some of her friends on the occasion of her birthday. We got to know Willibald the turtle who was given to hostmum as a present. Welcome, Willibald! Byebye, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 9, 2012, 8:56 pm |
Hello mum,
yesterday we had a romantic evening watching a beautiful sunset ...followed by a wonderful night... Yours Joesy |

Hi mum,
today morning Knirrie and me went to a hairdressing salon. Next week we'll go on holiday, so it was VERY important to get a haircut. The boys stayed at home...typically male... After washing and cutting our hair with the aid of hair slides we sat under a gigantic hairdryer. Our new hairstyle is fantastic, isn't it? |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 16, 2012, 7:19 pm |
Hi Mum,
today afternoon we drove to Altenbeken, 3*Euro, Knirrie and [/tv]Konsta[tv] by bike and I drove by tractor[tv] On the way there we watched the Beke river and the "Little viaduct" and we took a rest at the bank of Beke river (a very small river, I think...) Then we reached Altenbeken with it's landmark, the "Big viaduct". Though Altenbeken is a small town, it is also a junction of German Railways. So in the middle of the town stands a very old steam engine. Wow! Luckily I found a gasoline, so I could drive on... On the way back home we took a rest again, very comfortable Best wishes, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 21, 2012, 7:40 pm |
Tomorrow we'll go away on holiday to the North Sea for two weeks! A journey together with 3*Euro again
Best wishes, mummy, yours Joesy |

Dear mum,
today morning 3*Euro, Knirrie, Konsta, Mary, hostmum, hostdad, the dogs and me started to our holiday trip to Friedrichskoog, North Sea. Mary the sheep came with us, because she was born in Friedrichskoog and wants to be our tourist guide. We drove by car...and suddenly somebody switched off the light! Mary calmed us down explaining that we were driving through the long tunnel underneath the river Elbe. Arriving in Friedrichskoog we first went to the dyke that protects the dry land against the sea. Climbing up the dyke we saw a nice sunset. I'm looking forward for our adventures! Good night, mummy, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 8, 2012, 7:40 pm |
Hi mummy,
in the morning we went to a baker's shop by bike for buying some rolls. I had taken the tractor with me on holiday, so I could drove on the way back. It was a sunny day, so we had a breakfast outside. Later we had a walk (of course I drove by tractor ) along the coast to the lighthouse of Friedrichskoog. Suddenly I had an accident! Luckily Mary helped us pulling the tractor out of the hole! Near the lighthouse we explored the environment, especially the gaps between the stones, and suddenly a gigantic crab stood in front of us, but luckily it was a very peaceable crab. All the best, mummy, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 8, 2012, 8:13 pm |
Today it's been a very rainy day, so hostmum and hostdad have read almost the whole day...
Reading is boring so we've studied the television program and have made ourselves comfortable in front of the television... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 10, 2012, 7:54 pm |
Dear mum,
today we drove to Meldorf, a little town near Friedrichskoog with a cathedral and nice street cafés. First we went into a bookshop (the boys saw a poster in front of it and studied it enthusiastically...typically male...) and while hostmum and hostdad were searching for books and calendars, 3*Euro, Knirrie, Konsta and me rummaged around a bit...and imagine, suddenly we heard somebody calling! Looking around we discovered a little elk who said his name was Soeren and he would be bored and wanted to experience adventures. We all had the same idea: "Come with us", we said, "and become a ToyVoyager!" And so he did! We four kept an eye on the entrance and Soeren came out carefully. When hostmum found us outside the bookshop and saw we suddenly were five, she went back and bought Soeren, because it was love at first sight! In honour of the occasion we went into hostmum's favourite café...yummy! I'm sure we'll have a lot of fum together with Soeren! Kisses, yours Joesy |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 11:05 am |
Today hostmum and hostdad borrowed a bike on which two old dog ladies can be transported. On the way back we saw an old cannon and entered it...I asked myself whether it was a good idea to look INTO a cannon... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 11:28 am |
Today we saw a sign that explained that latitude 54th runs through Friedrichskoog. And we visited the North Sea through a pair of binoculars...fantastic. There is a lot of water in the North Sea, I must admit. |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 8:52 pm |
Today we got to know the "Trischendamm", a dam built of stones that goes above two kilometres into the Sea. You can walk on it with water all around. I wanted to drive by tractor, but after a few metres it became very very windy so I couldn't drive on and hostmum had to hold us in her hands so that we didn't fly away. She said that our mums wouldn't be amused if they had to search us at the coast of England or somewhere else...
Back at the start we played sea voyage on a little ship standing there for children. The ship was called "Hoppe Tosse" like the ship in the book "Pippi Langstrumpf". |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 7:17 pm |
Today it's been hostmum's and hostdad's wedding anniversary. So they showed us the mill in which they married a few years ago. In front of the mill there is a big heart made of iron...we made a nice photo...perhaps some time 3*Euro will ask me...
In honour of the occasion hostmum and hostdad wanted to eat out...without us...but we four creeped behind into the restaurant...I'm sure they haven't discover us |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 9:20 pm |
Today morning we drove to the dyke by bike together with the old dog ladies. Mary showed us some of her many cousins grazing there.
I found a big and long pipe and of course I wanted to cross it by tractor. At the end of the pipe 3*Euro was waiting for me and I think he had been worried about me... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 9:46 pm |
Today we drove to Brunsbüttel, a town that is divided by the Kiel Canal. Every 10 minutes two ferries cross the canal transporting cars, bikes and persons free of charge. And so we cross. Though was short we were happy to have a lifeboat on the ferry.
Then we visited the lock and a very big ship leaving it. Wow! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 4:28 pm |
On the way to the little fishing port of Friedrichskoog we saw a worrying sign: a car flying into the water We were glad to be on the way by bike
Unfortunately there was no fishing cutter in the harbour, only one in the shipyard. |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 5:01 pm |
Look, what we experienced and SURVIVED in the seal station (a station in which orphan seal pups are reared and later brought back into the North Sea)of Friedrichskoog: |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 5:39 pm |
And of course we smuggled one of the seals out the station... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 8:27 pm |
Today we went to the Trischendamm again...and there was no water!!! We immediately wanted to run to the police for reporting that somebody had stolen the water...but Knirrie who knows a lot about the North Sea calmed us down by telling us about the tides. And she said that low tide is the best time for searching for shells. So we did and look, what we found: |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 9:13 pm |
Today it's been our last day in Friedrichskoog. So we went into a café for having a goodbye teatime. While hostmum and hostdad were drinking their tea we four explored the café and found a nice old ship and a lighthouse.
And outside we sat in a wicker beach chair with a hood...very comfortable. Goodbye, North Sea! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 9:31 pm |
On the way back home to Paderborn...traffic jam... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 16, 2012, 7:11 pm |
Today morning we had to say goodbye to Soeren who started to his first hostmum.
Bye bye and good luck, my friend! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 22, 2012, 8:08 pm |
Yesterday we went for a farewell walk (and drive ), because 3*Euro, Konsta and me will travel to our next hosts...
It was a very nice autumn day, and we said goodbye to the[tv] surroundings of Neuenbeken accompanied by sunshine and coloured trees... And tomorrow we'll make our things up into a parcel and then we have to say goodbye to each other All the best, mummy, yours Joesy |

Hey Mummy at home!
Yesterday I arrived at my new host. Fortunatly I had a very comfortable trip in my sleeping bag and the torch. What a surprise! My new host is 3*Euro´s mum! So, when everything goes fine and 3*Euro asks me one day, she will be my mother-in-law! I was welcomed by a big group of TVs! And one of them was Jethro! THIS famous Jethro! He showed me his piercing and his tattoo. What a brave guy! Then I cuddled Soeren, he is the TV of my former host and so I know him well. I looked at some souvenirs from the last hoildys and thought for my darling... To distract me of my lovesickness hostmum invited us for a trip to Bayreuth. I traveled in Cheerios handbag We drove in a very pink Hello-Kitty-car Perfect for us girls! So I think we´ll have a lot of fun together! Yours, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Nov 3, 2012, 9:11 am |
Hello Mummy!
Today hostmum told me she had a surprise for me! I wondered what this should be... She blindfolded me... and leaded me a few centimeters... then I was allowed to open my eyes! Wow, I got a present! I got a treasure box for all my treasures! Thank you, hostmum! But that´s not all! We got an envelope today.... Maybe a new TV? Yes, it was Lina, the little sheep! I missed her but now we are together again! TV life can be great! (and 20% of LM 1 fulfilled ) Love, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Nov 6, 2012, 5:31 pm |
Dear Mummy,
today we helped hostmum to bake cookies. She needed a new recipe for her work. So we looked in a magazine for one if the most yummie candies. The decided to make lemon cookies. Hostmum and the other TVs made the dough, whereas Lina, Schaefli, Fipsy and me were responsible for the filling. We readed the description once more, we wanted to make everything really perfect! We grated the marzipane on the dough, now it looked like a sweet pizza But the icing made the cookies complete! This are the most yummie cookies I´ve ever made . .. once I will male them for 3*Euro and me ... Yours, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Nov 24, 2012, 7:20 am |
Hello Mummy!
Hostdad is a very good cook, and his most famous meal are Tortellini with cream sauce, bacon and peas. We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal! But we sneaked a peek in the pots. Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie! We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Mummy, I would like to share them with you, but we ate it all But if you want, I can cook for you, when I am back. I promise! Yours, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Dec 6, 2012, 4:45 pm |
Dear Mummy!
I hope you enjoy the advent as we do! Today we made cookies! At first we had to mix the ingredients: flour, sugar, butter and eggs. Then hostmum kneaded the dough and Peaches cut it in pieces. Hostmum made little croissants and we watched them getting brown After gettimg their topping of vanilla sugar the were "Vanillekipferl". We made 4 types of cookies! We nearly fell into the bowls, because they smelled soooo yummie! ...and of course we nibbled, but hostmum didn´t notice it But she allowed us to make a parcel for you with the yummiest cookies we made! Yours, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Dec 14, 2012, 6:32 pm |
Dear Mummy, today I needed some minutes for me.
Hostmum gave me an envelope with a present for me! Guess what? 3*Euro wrote me! His hostmum printed some souvenirs with pictures of him... I thought for him in love and I am sure we will meet again someday. <3 |
Yosemite Posted Dec 14, 2012, 7:36 pm |
Snow, snow, everywhere snow!
The whole day it snowed! We waited patiently at home until hostmum came home and then we asked her if we could go out. And she said yes! We took three old sleighs and went down to the garden. We cued our sleighs up in an line and hostmum wanted to pull us through the garden. But when we saw the perfect sleigh run we had a better idea! We built three teams: Team jo-mlp/mcDaniels on sleigh number 1, Team Jethro/MA_17 on sleigh number 2, and me and Lina on sleigh number 3. What a challenge! We wanted to start but I fell headfirst in the snow! And Lina fell backwards in the snow But Mummy, don´t worry, we are well! We watched the race from the loge and saw the winning team! Now we are all together drying in the heater |
Yosemite Posted Dec 24, 2012, 4:39 pm |
Dear Mummy,
today something crazy was going in in the living room. There was a tree growing during the night! But then hostmum explained that this is our christmas tree! Me and Lina helped to hang on the small balls. But this was no easy job, but we managed it! After we finished we made a short break. For a moment I felt really holy, but I didn´know what´s going on... Isn´t our tree pretty? Mummy, I wish you a merry christmas! Your Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Jan 1, 2013, 10:09 am |
Happy new year, dear Mummy!
We celebrated the New years eve in the garden. Hostdad made a big campfire and hang a pot over it. There he roasted meat and vegetables for a goulash. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring. When it was midnight I send a kiss to 3*Euro and I think I got one back Yours, Joesy |
Yosemite Posted Jan 10, 2013, 5:29 pm |
Mummy, Mummy!
3*Euro is back! I was so happy when I hostmum said that a parcel arrived. I knew it was my sweety! I opened the travelboy and saw... nothing, only paper. But then I crawled in and saw his smiling face Immediately I cuddled him and we held our hands... But then it was time for him to say hello to the others. He showed us his souvenirs from all over Germany! Wow, he visited cool hosts! He even told me that he has a present for me!!! Hostmum took a picture and she was a little bit moved to tears, so the pic is blurry I looked into the box. I got a hat! Now I look like a real lady! Oh, my dear 3*Euro! I really love you! |
Yosemite Posted Jan 13, 2013, 10:11 am |

3*Euro and me made a yummie breakfast! We had the yummie jelly he made at Olgamaus. The ingredients are tangerines, kiwis and sugar. Hmmmmmmmm, it tastes delicious! I think 3*Euro is a really perfect man... Joesy |

Hello Mummy!
Today we made a trip to the Plassenburg and its famous museum for tin figurines. 3*Euro and me watched some pretty sceneries, e.g. the christmas market in Nuremberg and the Serengeti with wild animals. Bernie and me watched even some historic dioramas, e.g. the "pipe concert of Sanssouci" and some nice garden sceneries. It was really wonderful! Yours, Joesy |

Dear Mummy!
Greetings from Bad Berleburg! We accompany hostmum at her regimen in the Rothaar-Clinic. And 3*Euro and me enjoy another time together! Today we visited the city. In a park we saw a crazy thing, it looked like a cage with numbers in it. But hostmum explained, that this is a sun-dial. After that we went to the castle and visited the park. Then 3*Euro leaded me to a little house. There was a sign with the word "Trauzimmer", english "Wedding Room" on it. Immediately we wanted to go in! But unfortunately the door was closed But some day, it will be open |

Dear Mummy,
during hostmums rehab we made a trip to Marburg. While we stolled throuhg the town we saw a very interesting shop window. There was a car with a caravan, right in 3*Euro´s and my size. We are thinking about it Then we came to the market place of Marburg. We saw a sign which informed us that there Hesse was founded! Jethro, Lina and me made a minute of silence Last but not least we climbed up to the castle of Marburg. In the yard I saw the door of the registry office. I tried to come in. But again, unfortunately it was closed. I think it´s a sign. It´s really not necessary to marry 3*Euro! We´ll be happy together even without marriage certificate! |
Yosemite Posted Jun 9, 2013, 5:34 pm |
Dear Mummy, 3*Euro and me spent a wonderful holiday in Alto Adige!
We made a lot of trips, e.g. to the botanical garden of "Schloss Trautmannsdorf" near Meran. There we looked at the very rare plant "Wollemnia nobilis" which nearly was extincted. Sissi, the empress of Austria spent some weeks in Trautmannsdorf and to honour her there were some Sissi-figurines. She must have been a very pretty woman. Do you remember her gorgeous wedding with Franz? What a dream Back from dreaming we went to a very nice tavern, the Fischerkeller We ordered some local wine, called "Kalterer See" and a mixed plate for 2 persons or 10 plushies To your health, 3*Euro! OMG, I hope he will not get drunk this evening |

Hello Mom!
Sorry for waiting so long! Hostmum was busy and the weather in Germany was very bad. But today was a sunny day, so we made a little tour. First I was in Schweinfurt. This is the "Heilig Geist - Kirche"/Holy ghost church. In Schweinfurt was the ball bearings invented. Here you see a big one. This is the theatre. I'm on the river "Main". This is a very old part of the "Main". It's called "Saumain" ("Sow-Main" ). |

About 35km from Schweinfurt is Koenigsberg. It's an old village with beautiful houses.
The town hall. You can drive under the house! I hope you like my little trip! Kiss, Joesy |

This is Weikersheim, a little city in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
You see the castle and the old town walls. This is the „Gaensturm“ (geese tower). An old waterwhell. We have to wait at the railway barrier… The weather was so fine so we made a walk at the river „Tauber“. |

Hello Mom!
Today we snuggled with Fini. But hostmum had work for us: bake a carrot cake! First we cut the hazelnuts. Then we grate the carrots. We made the dough with butter, sugar, eggs, flavor and baking powder. Then some milk and cinnamon. The carrots, hazelnuts and chocolate sprinkles. Put the dough in the oven for a hour. It smells delicious! Done! Yummie!! Bye, Joesy |

Hello!
Today was a very exciting day! In the afternoon was the fire department on the street! The sirens were very loud! And the smoke! But it was only a hedge in the neighbor garden who burned. In the evening came the new cat from my host! He’s 10 month old and his name is „Paulchen“. He’s so nice! Kiss, Joesy |

Hi,
today I visited the little city of Bad Kissingen. There’s a „Saline“. In this special building (graduation) streams thermal-water over black thorn brushwood. It is used for salt extraction. But the best is the pure and clear air! We take a seat and enjoy this fresh air. Bye, Joesy |
