Hi Mum,
Today we spent the day at the Ballarat Wildlife Park. these are grey kangaroos - they come from an island off South Australia and are quite happy around people - in fact they ALL wanted to be fed by us! I saw one emu the two emus! more kangaroos and Misty the koala - isn't she pretty! on the log behind me is a Tasmanian Devil - the light shines through their ears and they look really red like Devils horns - they scream and wail and must have been very scarey for the early settlers in Tasmania. we had a little rest break in the cafe - waiting on my hot chocolate!! we saw some of the red kangaroos - they don't like people so much so are in their own enclosure Ohh....hello! I met Patrick the adult wombat and a young wombat - I don't know this one's name there are koala's sleeping under the shelter this koala is easier to see I found some friends in the shop Mum I had a little chat to this fruit bat - all about my travels and this one gave me a fly around!! Coming back from the beach we found a pohutukawa tree - known as the New Zealand Christmas bush, they often flower from November to January, if they flower early it is a sign of a long hot summer! Dear Mum,
The season here in Bali is a rainy season. Its rainy, windy and cloudy. But today, we visit an iconic building in Denpasar, capital city of Bali, named Bajra Sandhi Monument. The picture maybe not so good, because its a cloudy and some scenes taken during the drizzling rain. About the Bajra Sandhi itself , the architecture is very unique, taking the shape of Bajra or Genta, a bell that used by Hindu Priests during religious ceremonies. It is also a symbol of the bond between males and females that creates prosperity according to the epic that tells the story of the Gods struggle to get the Water of Eternity. Every statue and each carving in the monument compound has its own meaning. The whole of the monument symbolizes Mount Mandara where, according to the epic Mahabarath, the Gods had a battle with giants fighting for the Water of Eternity Love Tica |

Dear Mom
Today iam visit one of the famous beach in Denpasar, capital city of Bali. Picture number one is the name of the Village, in the area of the beach. Picture number 2 and 9 is traditional small wooden Indonesian boat called "Jukung". Jukung essentially of Balinese origin, the double outrigger jukung is but one of many types of Pacific/Asian outrigger canoes that use the crab claw sail traditional throughout Polynesia. Whilst this sail presents some difficulties in tacking into the wind, actually requiring to jibe around, a jukung is superb in its reaching ability and jibe-safe running. They are usually highly decorated and bear a marlin-like prow. Picture number 11-13 is daily Hindu offering in the beach and Jukung, called canang sari and banten. Canang sari is one of the daily offerings made by Balinese Hindus to thank the Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in praise and prayer. Canang sari will be seen in the Balinese temples (pura), on small shrines in houses, and on the ground or as a part of a larger offering, etc. The phrase canang sari is derived from the Balinese words sari (essence) and canang (a small palm-leaf basket as the tray). Canang itself consists of two syllables Kawi language of ca (beautiful) and nang (purpose). Canang sari has some parts, there are peporosan, ceper, raka-raka, and sampian urasari. Peporosan or the core material is made from betel leaf, lime, gambier, prestige, tobacco and betel nuts. Material of peporosan is symbolize the Trimurti, three major God in Hinduism. Shiva symbolized by lime, Vishnu symbolized by betel nut, and Brahma symbolized by gambier. Canang sari are covered by ceper (a tray made from palm leaf) as a symbol of Ardha Candra. Raka-raka is topped with sampian urasari, which are in turn overlaid by flowers placed in a specific direction. Each direction symbolizes a Hindu God (deva): • White-colored flowers that point to the east as a symbol of Iswara • Red-colored flowers that point to the south as a symbol of Brahma • Yellow-colored flowers that point to the west as a symbol of Mahadeva • Blue or green colored flowers that point to the north as a symbol of Vishnu A canang sari is completed by placing on top of the canang an amount of kepeng (the coin money) or paper money, which is said to make up the essence (the "sari") of the offering Love Tica |

Hello
Iam visit Klungkung, Bali's smallest district , located between Gianyar and Karangasem. Klungkung itself is a bustling town. On reaching the town centre. Klungklung was the base of the ancient Javanese Hindu Kingdom in Bali, from where the Balinese royalty of today draws its bloodline. It is the oldest kingdom in Bali, with a most exalted Kings. Kertha Gosa is an old building of jurisdiction and legislation and is one of the main areas in Bali that has been important throughout history in the development of modern Bali. Located within the district of Klungkung in the north of the island and is an excellent and grand old area with amazing history. The words Kertha Gosa mean peaceful announcement which has been the prime focus of the Kertha Gosa throughout history. The inside and outside of the Kertha Gosa and all around it there is some amazing art in the form of paintings and carvings of wood and stone. This is an area unlike the temples of Bali and the feel is very different. Here at the Kertha Gosa the focus is on power and the importance of the legal system as it was here that trials and penalization was carried out. When inside the Kertha Gosa it is easy to feel how it must have been in the old days when the trials and deep discussions on the politics of the area where carried out. The Kertha Gosa is not only of great cultural value but many of the artifacts and artwork that is inside the building has been deemed extremely valuable although obviously it will remain inside. And at least, i take a picture with Indonesian girls, they are still using their traditional custom ( Kebaya ) if attending party, pray to the Temple or another ceremonial activity Hugs Tica |

Hello mum, Iam being located at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), a 240 hectares private cultural park on the Bukit Peninsula at the southern end of the island of Bali in Indonesia, 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Bukit is a limestone plateau with Uluwatu to the west and Nusa Dua to the east.
It is devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who is his companion. Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a massive, unfinished statue in Bali that currently exists in pieces. Conceptualized by the Balinese artist Nyoman Nuarta When it's completed, it will be the largest statue in the world. Dominating the park is Wisnu, a bust of a Hindu deity constructed from giants slabs of copper and brass. Representing the divine force responsible for the protection of the universe, the 22 meter Wisnu figure is a modern rendering of an ancient cultural tradition. The companion piece, Garuda, represent the giant bird which transports Wisnu, a symbol of both freedom and selfless devotion I went with RSG Leo, Tica, Krupchen, Capote, Cappucino, and Linda's TV , Basukarna Its a really hot day, the sun hit our skin and made it become more dark. Before we leave the venue, we enjoyed a favorite drink here, a whole young coconut ice With love Tica |

Linda took all the TVs that stay with her visited The Werdhi Budaya Art Centre. Designed by Bali's foremost architect, Ida Bagus Tugur, the vast complex is apart from its very real cultural function, a showplace for Balinese Arts and Palace Architecture at its most opulent. It is featuring the good lay-out building of amphitheater to be a place/hall of show performance purpose. It is symbolizing the twiddling of Mandara Giri mount in the milk ocean and spattering the Amerta holy water for the life of endless as according to nature of dynamic culture and stayed alive during the human being still dwell the earth planet. The open stage Arda Candra with its towering candi gate and the almost rococo main Art Museum, sprawling park, Balinese pavilions and follies have, become a regular architectural attraction. This amphitheater can accommodate up to 6.000 audiences for the show of colossal both for modern and also traditional. Love Tica PS : to be continue |

Hello Mum
Here is iam with Balinese offerings Offerings are called banten in Balinese. It is possible that the word comes from the Sanskrit word bali, which means tribute, obligation or gift. Or it may be derived from the word enten, which means to wake up or be conscious. It is a consciousness of the gods. Love Tica |
