Hello!
This is the first time I write to this site and I'm really excited! So I'm Konsta and a small bear from Finland. I live in a small town called Hämeenlinna. I actually just moved here from another town called Tampere. My owner, ( if that is how I should call her) Aino found me from a flea market and asked if I wanted to travel and see the world and here I am. Aino and her sister wanted to show me their hometown and took me for a sightseeing. At first we went to see an observation tower I tried to climb up the stairs to the tower but the job was too hard for me. Though I'm a tough tiny teddy I had to ask Aino to carry me up. Sadly the tower was closed so we moved on. Next we went to see a castle. Though the castle seemed old to me, the girls told me that it was not a real castle. Real or not I found the castle really fancy. For my misfortune the castle was also locked but it didn't stop me having a peek inside the castle. From the yard of the castle we found a chocolate bunny. In the picture you can also see my friend Kasurinen. In the evening we decided to make some cupcakes. Despite all problems the result was quite pretty I think. We made big mugs of tea and enjoyed our cupcakes. Delicious! Now it is bedtime for small bears. So good night everybody and see you soon! |

Hello guys!
As you might notice I haven't started my journey yet. That is because my owner still wanted to show me her hometown. But in a while I will start to travel.Today I did an excursion to Finnish nature. Though it is spring already we still have snow in Finland. What it means is that the nature is not currently the prettiest possible. Still I found it very exiting. As you see he weather was nice and quite warm actually. I found a nice soft spot on the moss and enjoyed the sunshine. There was a huge stone in the forest and of course I wanted to conquer it. Climbing was more difficult than I expected but... ..I did it! And so did my good TV friend Kasurinen. The view from the top was interesting and the wind felt so nice on our faces that we decided to spend a moment just enjoying. Oh, I have to tell to all TVs a good tip. What is the best place to travel when having a forest walk? It is on your owners mitten! From there you'll see all the nice views and it will keep you nice and warm. I recommend. After our forest walk we went to a playground to have some fun. Baby swing was my favorite. Kasurinen wanted to try the merry-go-round but I was a bit skeptic at first. There was a lot of water around it and I was afraid of getting wet. I also didn't know how fast he wanted to go. Kasurinen promised that I won't fall if it is up to him. After all the merry-go-round was rather funny. There was also a nice jungle gym. I find climbing exciting. Maybe I can say that it is my cup of tea. Now I think it might be bead time for me. So good night and best wishes to all! |

Hello!
I have to tell you good news: I'm traveling to Germany! So this is my last update when I'm still with my mom. I'm so exited! I was few days ago in a old castle which is one of the most famous places in Hämeenlinna. Here are some pictures from there. Few days ago I got a new friend, Barnabas. He arrived from Germany. He is a funny bloke and it would have been fun to get to know him better. Here are some picks of us. Yesterday I was playing disk golf with my ToyVoyager friends. We had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of that trip. Best wishes, Konsta |

Dear Mummy!
After a long long journey I arrived Paderborn in Germany! Sitting in my envelope I heard many voices out of it and became very curious...When I crawled out of it I saw a lot of friendly faces. After my long and lonely trip I was very happy to see all of them. I showed them my postcard and my journey book and said hallo and they all welcomed me, especially Nick the bear (very nice!) and three other Toyvoyagers: Hermann, Walt Duck and Störte. I think we will have a nice time together Then I introduced myself to the three budgies and the old dogs Sally and Trixi. Imagine, Mum, I wasn't afraid of the old ladies at all, though in my eyes they were very tall... Now I'm looking forward to my adventures in Germany! Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 7, 2012, 5:28 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday evening hostmum and hostdad went to Paderborn city visiting Herbert Knebel, a German comedian. I was allowed to come with them, because I'm smaller than the other TVs We went to the "Paderhalle" together with lots and lots of people who all wanted to see Herbert. He and three other men were very funny and they made music...wow! All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 8, 2012, 7:44 pm |
Dear Mummy,
today we had a farewell day, because it was Hermann[tv]s last day in Paderborn. First we went for a walk round hostmum's homevillage Neuenbeken together with the old dogs. Cause 16-year-old Sally has to be pushed uphills, we took a bike with us. For me everything was new: the flowers, real German cows, the old tree and a tree cave...and at last we made rest on a nice bench. In the afternoon we had a farewell football match: Hermann and Störte against Walt Duck[tv] and me. We had a lot of fun! All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 8, 2012, 8:02 pm |
Hi Mum!
Today we said goodbye to Hermann who travels home for watching the EM together with his Mum and brother. In the afternoon we visited a friend of hostmum who has got a very nice garden. Störte, Walt Duck and me played the whole afternoon: we entered a pirate ship and put to sea with it, we fished, swinged, got to know an old woodworm, drove a tractor and visited an outdoor stage play made by an 7-year-old boy. And imagine, Mummy, there was a gigantic dog and I wasn't afraid at all!!! Yours devil of a fellow Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 9, 2012, 2:51 pm |
Dear Mummy, today evening we'll visit some friends of hostmum for watching the first German EM football match. Unfortunately Finland didn't qualify for the EM, so being in Germany I'll shout for Germany this time... |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 10, 2012, 12:54 pm |
Hi Mum,
Our football evening was very exciting and very loud Well prepared for the match Germany-Portugal Störte, Walt Duck and me sat in front of a large TV together with hostmum, hostdad and a few friends in Paderborn city. And Germany won and we all shouted as loud as we could! Next Wednesday the show will go on... Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 15, 2012, 9:29 pm |
Dear Mum,
last Wednesday evening I escorted hostmum and hostdad to a choir rehearsal. I assisted the choir with my alto and it sounded pretty good After the rehearsal we were in a hurry, because we had to drive to friends of hostmum and hostdad for watching the next football match: Germany-Netherlands. It was very exciting again and we all shouted again and I asked me how it will be if Germany reaches the final... And imagine, we had dessert in the colours of the German flag! I think at the moment here in Germany many people are very creative and out of their mind at the same time... All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 24, 2012, 3:07 pm |
Hi Mummy!
Yesterday Walt Duck and me went to an Indian restaurant. Wow! Very yummy, especially the "Mango Lassi"!!! Today evening I'll escort hostmum and hostdad to a concert. Super, I thought when hostmum told me, I'll fulfill one of my life missions! But she said it is a classical concert, Mozart, and you can't call the orchestra a band. I hope it won't be boring... All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 25, 2012, 5:41 pm |
Dear Mum,
the concert wasn't boring at all! Hostmum told me we all had to dress ourselves in a chic way, so I took a bow tie and we were ready! The band, sorry, the orchestra was great, especially the kettledrum. And today Walt Duck, Störte and me went to the birthday party of hostdad's father. Very yummy cake Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jun 29, 2012, 5:05 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday hostmum asked Nick and me to help her preparing some paper-handicrafts she needs at work. Hostmum works in an old-people's-home and decorates it's windows with pictures made by the old people. So Nick and me started to work: for preparing the pictures I stood on a stencil while Nick drew around it. Cause the old people shall make poppy-flowers we needed red and green. When we were ready I escorted hostmum to work by bike. At work I gave some good advice to the old people refering to cutting out the pictures and so the pictures turned out fantastically At hostmum's office I got to know Mr. Adviser who showed me how to operate the computer, and look what I've written for you! And then we drove back home to Neuenbeken, hostmum's homevillage that belongs to Paderborn. Hope you're fine, Mummy, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jul 15, 2012, 4:19 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday hostdad moved into hostmum's flat. It was a lot of work for all of us. First Walt Duck, Störte and me drove to a firm which hires pickup trucks and then the move began: all of hostdad's things down the stairs (a lot of stairs!), into the truck, from Bad Lippspringe to Neuenbeken and up the stairs to hostmum's flat. Hostmum and hostdad were very happy to have such industrious helpers: Störte, Walt Duck and me pushed lots of boxes and assembled a wardrobe! And imagine, Mum, hostdad has got a magic chest! We were so curious about the contents, but we weren't allowed to look in it, but hostdad promised us to make a performance specially for us next time When the move was over all the stuffed animals welcomed hostdad in his new home: Welcome home with love, hostdad! Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Jul 21, 2012, 12:26 pm |
Hello Mummy,
yesterday I helped hostmum and her friend making jam. First we had to pick the fruits: redcurrants, blackcurrants and gooseberries. Then the berries had to be cranked through a very old mincer hostmum had inherited from her grandma. Hostmum and her friend were very happy to be helped by such a strong bear, because cranking is strenuous! After that the mashed fruits were cooked together with sugar, something for jelling and, imagine, rum and wine! Hostmum and me washed out the jars with hot water, then the jam was filled in, the jars were closed and turned round. Ready! And yummy!!! |
mcdaniels Posted Jul 30, 2012, 9:38 pm |
Dear Mum,
now it's "Libori" in Paderborn and that means, it is state of emergency "Libori" is both a secular and a worldly festival in Paderborn with many masses in the cathedral and processions in honour of St.Liborius whose bones are kept in a shrine in the cathedral's crypt. Every July the shrine is showed for a few days and the "Libori" festival is celebrated for one week. There is a big market (with the biggest panties I've ever seen )round the cathedral and a very big fairground. "Libori" has started last Saturday and I've been present! Mum, you can't imagine how many people and how many bishops I've seen! And I watched the famous "window of the three hares": three hares and three ears, but every hare has got two ears! This window is part of the cathedral and landmark of Paderborn. And tomorrow evening we'll visit the fairground and hostmum promised we'll drive with a Ferris wheel! I'm so excited!!! All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 1, 2012, 11:42 am |
Oh, Mummy, the Ferris wheel was fantastic!!!
First we went to "Petit Paris", a part of the Libori-fairground and ate some French speciality and drank French rosé (yes, I was allowed to drink some wine...). And then we walked to the big fairground...and there the Ferris wheel was!!! Wow, it was very very tall and it looked fantastically! I got into a flap about driving in a Ferris wheel Though it was a cloudy evening we had a great view to Paderborn city and the environment. After driving we watched some other merry-go-rounds, but the Ferris wheel of course was the best! Yours happy Konsta |

Hello Mum,
today morning we welcomed Knirrie from the Netherlands. Walt Duck, Störte and me sat together with her and talked about our TV-experiences for a few hours. In the evening Knirrie and me went for a walk and I showed her my favourite places and lots of flowers. And we looked at a lovely sunset and the full moon...very romantic...and Knirrie is a real nice girl Good night and best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 7, 2012, 9:43 pm |
Hi Mummy,
last Sunday it was the last day of the "Libori"-festival, so Knirrie and me went to Paderborn. First we visited "Little Paris" again and then we went to the big fairground and....we drove Ferris wheel!!! And imagine, Mum, it was more fantastic, perhaps because I was accompanied by such a nice girl Libori ended with a big fireworks, unfortunately the pictures are not fantastic, but the fireworks was! And then Knirrie and me made a picture in front of a heart with the words "I love you"... Bye Mummy, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 9, 2012, 9:29 pm |
Hi Mummy,
today evening I helped Knirrie completing one of her life missions: we ate a sausage together. Knirrie was totally enthusiastic, because it was a vegetarian sausage without any pork. We started to eat and the sausage became shorter and shorter and shorter and shorter and....oh |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 21, 2012, 7:38 pm |
Dear Mum,
unfortunately hostmum had some problems with the internet, but now here I am again! Sunday the 12th we had a very nice day: it started with a great breakfast in the garden together with Knirrie, hostmum, hostdad and the old dog ladies. Look, Mum, what I created for Knirrie: a butter heart Then we explored the garden with lots of flowers, apple trees, tomatoes and so on... In the early afternoon we started to Paderborn by bike for playing miniature golf. It was fantastic to help hostmum and hostdad getting the little balls into the holes And then: cooling off with a big ice cream...yes, a very nice day! All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 22, 2012, 5:43 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday Knirrie and me went into the garden and blew at a faded dandelion. Then we could wish something...I hope that Knirrie wished the same as I did... |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 24, 2012, 6:00 pm |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday a small parcel arrived. Störte, Walt Duck, Knirrie and me were very courious about the contents, because of the whispering in it. Störte took heart, opened the parcel with a knife and...two little monkeys came to light! After welcoming Joesy and 3*Euro they showed us all their little things they collected on their journeys so far, wow! And then we sat together and talked about our TV-experiences for hours and hours... All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 25, 2012, 10:56 am |
Dear Mummy,
yesterday we had to say good-bye to Störte, who started to his next journey, a secret mission! And in the evening we went to hostmum's parents for watching football on TV. First we fortified ourselves with pizza and ice cream and then the match began: Dortmund against Bremen. Dortmund is hostmum's and her mother's native town, so we all shouted for Dortmund...and Dortmund won All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 27, 2012, 8:21 pm |
Dear Mummy,
imagine, Joesy has learned how to drive a tractor! And then she drove and drove and drove...after a time we all felt dizzy and only 3*Euro continued watching her driving, because Joesy is his girl. Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Aug 27, 2012, 9:02 pm |
And now we had to say goodbye to Walt Duck who started to his next host.
In the evening we went to an open-air theatre, watching "The murderer of women"...it was very thrilling and I had to reassure Knirrie... yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 1, 2012, 9:49 pm |
Dear Mum,
yesterday it was hostmum's birthday. In the early morning Knirrie, Joesy, 3*Euro and me surprised her with a nice birthday song and I think she was very delighted at our quartet Unfortunately she had to go to work, but in the afternoon we had a birthday teatime in the garden of hostmum's parents. We were allowed to eat as much cake as we could, wow! And in the evening we had a party at home with chocolate for the TVs, candlelight and a table fireworks: you had to light a fuse, then a fire fountain lighted eight candles and the melody "happy birthday" rang out...very special All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 3, 2012, 4:43 pm |
Hi Mummy,
yesterday we drove to Paderborn city by bus. First I showed Knirrie, Joesy and 3*Euro the cathedral and the "window of the three hares" and then we went into hostmum's favourite café for drinking coffee and tea with some of her friends on the occasion of her birthday. And we got to know Willibald the turtle who was given to hostmum as a present. Welcome, Willibald! Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 9, 2012, 8:42 pm |
Dear mummy,
yesterday we had a romantic evening watching a very beautiful sunset We were standing right next to German cows...I like these cows very much...of course not as much as a special piglet from the Netherlands... Yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 16, 2012, 9:24 pm |
Dear mum,
today afternoon we went on a bike ride to Altenbeken, that is to say Knirrie, 3*Euro and me drove by bike and Joesy drove by tractor! On the way there we watched the Beke river and the "Little viaduct" and took a rest at the bank of Beke river (a very small river, I think...) Then we reached Altenbeken with it's landmark, the "Big viaduct". Though Altenbeken is a small town it is also a junction of German Railways. So in the middle of the town there is standing a very old steam engine. Wow! On the way back home I met some German cows and we took a rest again, very comfortable. Suddenly I found a signpost which pointed to a "hotel for insects", yummy! But unfortunately no insect at home at the moment Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Sep 21, 2012, 7:51 pm |
Tomorrow we'll go away on holiday to the North Sea for two weeks! A journey together with Knirrie
Best wishes, mum, yours Konsta |

Dear mummy,
today morning Knirrie, Joesy, 3*Euro, Mary, hostmum, hostdad, the dogs and me started to our holiday trip to Friedrichskoog, North Sea. Mary the sheep came with us, because she was born in Friedrichskoog and wants to be our tourist guide. We drive by car...and suddenly somebody switched off the light! Mary calmed us down explaining we were driiving through the long tunnel underneath the river Elbe. Arriving in Friedrichskoog we first went to the dyke that protects the dry land against the sea. Climbing up the dyke we saw a nice sunset. I'm looking forward to our adventures! Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 8, 2012, 7:05 pm |
Dear mummy,
in the morning we went to a baker's shop by bike for buying some rolls. Joesy had taken her tractor with her on holiday, so she could drove on the way back. It was a sunny day, so we had a breakfast outside. Later we had a walk (Joesy of course drove by tractor) along the coast to the lighthouse of Friedrichskoog. Suddenly Joesy had an accident! Luckily Mary helped us pulling the tractor out of the hole! Near the lighthouse we explored the environment, especially the gaps between the stones, and suddenly a gigantic crab stood in front of us , but luckily it was a very peaceful crab. Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 8, 2012, 8:22 pm |
Today it's been a very rainy day, so hostmum and hostdad have read almost the whole day...
Reading is boring, so we've studied the television program and have made ourselves comfortable in front of the television... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 10, 2012, 7:38 pm |
Hi mummy,
today we drove to Meldorf, a little town near Friedrichskoog with a cathedral and nice street cafés. First we went into a bookshop (in front of the shop 3*Euro and me saw a nice poster "chests of the coast", but Knirrie and Joesy weren't amused at all, we didnt't understand, why...) and while hostmum and hostdad were searching for books and calendars, we four rummaged around a bit...and imagine, suddenly we heard somebody calling! Looking around we discovered a little elk who said his name was Soeren and he would be bored and wanted to experience adventures. We all had the same idea: "Come with us", we said, "and become a ToyVoyager!" And so he did! We four kept an eye on the entrance and Soeren came out carefully. When hostmum found us outside the bookshop and saw we suddenly were five, she went back and bought Soeren, because it was love at first sight! In honour of the occasion we went into hostmum's favourite café...yummy! I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun together with Soeren! Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 11:02 am |
Today hostmum and hostdad borrowed a bike on which two old dog ladies can be transported. On the way back home we saw an old cannon and entered it...I asked myself whether it was a good idea to look INTO a cannon... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 11:32 am |
Today we saw a sign that explained that latitude 54th runs through Friedrichskoog. And we visited the North Sea through a pair of binoculars...fantastic! There is a lot of water in the North Sea, I must admit. |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 11, 2012, 9:15 pm |
Today we got to know the "Trischendamm", a dam built of stones that goes above two kilometres into the Sea. You can walk on it with water all around. Joesy wanted to drive by tractor, but after a few metres it became very very windy so she couldn't drive on and hostmum had to hold us in her hands so that we didn't fly away. Hostmum said that our mums wouldn't be amused if they had to search us at the coast of England or somewhere else...
Back at the start we played sea voyage on a little ship standing there for children. The ship was called "Hoppe Tosse" like the ship in the book "Pippi Langstrumpf". |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 6:59 pm |
Today it's been hostmum's and hostdad's wedding anniversary. So they showed us the mill in which they married a few years ago. In front of the mill there is a big heart made of iron...we made a nice remembering photo...
In honour of the occasion hostmum and hostdad wanted to eat out...without us...but we four creeped behind into the restaurant...I'm sure they haven't discover us |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 9:26 pm |
Today morning we drove to the dyke by bike together with the old dog ladies.
Mary showed us some of her many cousins grazing there... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 13, 2012, 9:58 pm |
Today we went to Brunsbüttel, a town that is divided by the Kiel Canal. Every ten minutes two ferries cross the canal transporting cars, bikes and persons free of charge. And so we cross. Though the crossing was short we were happy to have a lifeboat on the ferry.
Then we visited the lock and a very big ship leaving it. Wow! And imagine, mum, there was a sailing yacht from Finland! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 4:47 pm |
On the way to the little fishing port we saw a worrying sign: a car flying into the water We were glad to be on the way by bike
Unfortunately there was no fishing cutter in the harbour, only one in the shipyard. |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 5:25 pm |
Look, what we experienced and SURVIVED in the seal station (a station in which orphan seal pups are reared and later brought back into the North Sea) of Friedrichskoog: |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 14, 2012, 5:36 pm |
And of course we smuggled one of the seals out the station... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 8:34 pm |
Today we went to the Trischendamm again...and there was no water!!! We immediately wanted to run to the police for reporting that somebody had stolen the water...but Knirrie who knows a lot about the North Sea calmed us down by telling us about the tides. And she said that low tide is the best time for searching for shells. So we did and look, what we found: |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 9:06 pm |
Today it's been our last day in Friedrichskoog. So we went to a café for having a goodbye teatime. While hostmum and hostdad were drinking their tea we four explored the café and found a nice old ship and a lighthouse.
And outside we sat in a wicker beach chair with a hood...very comfortable. Goodbye, North Sea! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 9:17 pm |
Sorry, I mixed up the pictures. Of course I wanted to show Knirrie and me! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 15, 2012, 9:29 pm |
On the way back to Paderborn...traffic jam... |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 16, 2012, 7:06 pm |

Bye bye and good luck, my friend! |
mcdaniels Posted Oct 22, 2012, 8:23 pm |
Yesterday we went to a farewell walk, because Joesy, 3*Euro and me will travel to our next hosts...
It was a very nice autumn day, and we said goodbye to the surroundings of Neuenbeken accompanied by sunshine and coloured trees... And next days we have to say goodbye to each other and to the German cows... Best wishes, mummy, yours Konsta |

mcdaniels Posted Oct 27, 2012, 5:43 pm |
Imagine mum, I drove in a Ferris wheel again!!!
In Paderborn there's an autumn fair at the moment and today afternoon hostmum, Knirrie and me drove to Paderborn city for visiting it. First we ate a chocolate banana, very yummy! And then we entered the Ferris wheel, fantastic visibility, but very cold! For warming ourselves up we went into a very comfortable café, hostmum's friend had opened one week ago. Best wishes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Nov 15, 2012, 6:39 pm |
Hi mummy,
today evening Knirrie and me have started to bake a buckwheat bread. First we collected the ingredients and then we've got going: weighing out the buckwheat - adding amaranth - adding sesam - adding salt - measuring mineral water and filling it into the bowl - and at last mixing all these things...heavy labour! And now the dough has to 'rest' until tomorrow...very good idea! Good night, dough, see you tomorrow |
mcdaniels Posted Nov 16, 2012, 7:43 pm |
Good morning, dough, now we'll carry on: adding kernels of sunflowers - adding baking powder - mixing - filling the dough into a baking tin - putting the baking tin into the oven - heating uo the oven.....and then waiting.....and waiting....
And ready!!! |
mcdaniels Posted Nov 20, 2012, 6:23 pm |
Dear mummy,
hostmum has got a new own TV, Lille, who wants to go in search of her brother Frederik. But before starting her journey Lille asked Knirrie and me to tell her about our experiences as a TV. So we went for a walk talking about our journeys. I hope she has got any idea how to find Frederik...if I was her I would start the expedition at the host he never arrived and then travel to Finland while looking for him on the route he got lost...I think I'll suggest it! All the best, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Dec 3, 2012, 3:22 pm |
Dear mummy,
a few days ago Knirrie, Lille and me created an Advent calendar for hostdad: we packed 24 surprises into 24 small parcels, then we climbed up the Advent branch and fixed the parcels. From December 1st until December 24th hostdad can open one of it every morning! And we decorated the Advent wreath or rather hostmum's Advent plate with four candles, fir trigs, nuts, cinnamon and so on. Now we can light one more candle every Sunday...and then it's Christmas! I wish you a nice Advent, mum, with many yummy cakes, yours Konsta |
mcdaniels Posted Dec 7, 2012, 7:48 pm |
Imagine, mummy, St Nicholas was here!
The evening before December 6th Knirrie, Lille and me put up a big boot. We put it outside hostmum's flat and wanted to wait what and look what woul happen, but hostmum said if we didn't ccme in, shut the door and go to bed St Nicholas wouldn't come. So we did... The next morning we raced to the boot and IT WAS FILLED! Wow! We climbed up and knocked the boot over and look, mum! Yummie! Thank you, St Nicholas! |
mcdaniels Posted Dec 8, 2012, 8:51 pm |
Dear mum,
today morning a small parcel arrived: [tv]Soeren[tv]'s hostmum sent some cookies to us We immediately wanted to try some, but hostmum showed us Cookie, Soeren's girl and we had to promise to eat her on no account! Of course we won't!!! Look, Soeren, your girl is all okay and has got a place of honour. Bye the way, the other cookies were very yummy, many thanks to Yosemite! Bye, mummy, yours Konsta |

yesterday morning we looked out of the window and everything was white! We went out immediately and started building a snowman. Look! Back in the kitchen hostmum made us sitting on the radiator so that we din't got a cold... |

Dear mummy,
a few days ago Störte came home for a flying visit and we all hugged him being glad that he came home safely. And today the postman brought another envelope with Yuma and a lot of yummy chocolate in it! The rest of the evening we sat together in the Advent wreath, eating chocolate (don't worry, Soeren, we didn't eat Cookie) and talking about TV-experiences... All the best, Yours Konsta |

Hi mum,
yesterday morning Yuma explored hostparent's flat searching for another moose. Cause I like jokes very much I disguised myself as a moose and made everybody laugh Yours Konsta |

Merry Christmas, mummy!
On Christmas Eve we all went to hostdad's daughter. After a yummy dinner the giving out of Christmas presents began: we sat next to the Christmas tree and unwrapped presents. We got to know Elvis, the singing little Christmas tree, a very nice guy. And we played some games: "nine men's morris" and "4 will win". Lille and Yuma against Knirrie and me. After watching "The Lion King 2" on TV we went into church (unfortunately I have no photo from it). Yesterday we drove to hostmum's parents. We sang some Christmas songs and performed two songs by piano and trumpet. After that we needed a refreshment: some chocolat! And we got to know a very nice giraffe who lives there on the piano. Best wishes, mummy, yours Konsta |

Happy new year, mummy!!!
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve party. First we watched TV: "Dinner for one". This old and very funny sketch is sent every last day of the year om nany TV channels. Oh, what a joke! Then we had a very yummy dinner: Raclette. Mmmmmhh! After that hostparents and their friends made strong things, in German it is called "Bleigießen": In former times some lead was melted, now you use tin. They melted the tin and poured it into cold water. A curious thing came inti being and everybody guessed what it showed (an anchor, for example) and looked up in a book what it means to the future...I have to admit me and my friends couln't identify anything... At midnight we all went out and watched many fantastic fireworks all around. Yuma, Lille, Knirrie and me had a very big sparkler and each of us a little one. Back in the house a very old little bear gave us a lucky four-leaf clover. And of course we drank sparkling wine and sat together up to the morning... All the best, yours Konsta |

Dear mum,
hostmum had to go to hospital for one week and Lille went with her. So Yuma, Knirrie and me stayed at home and helped hostdad running the household: we cooked, whashed up and made some food for the old dog ladies. And of course we had enough time to amuse ourselves: playing the piano, making sudoku, discussing about the television program, watching TV and dancing with Ulf, the disco-elk. So we weren't bored, but nevertheless we were glad when hostmum and Lille came back home... best wishes, yours Konsta |

Today afternoon I'll travel home to mummy! I'm very happy to see her again, but it is very hard to say goodbye to my friends, especially to Knirrie, my love!
Knirrie, it breaks my heart and I'm sure, I'll never never forget you! Perhaps we'll meet again anywhere in the world... Forever yours Konsta |
