Hello!

I arrived in Portsmouth this afternoon, and was very pleased when the postwoman gently handed me over to my new host rather than letting me drop all the way from the letterbox to the welcome mat.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the smiling face of Rosalind. She is Frances' toyvoyager, and has just returned from visiting ProfessorRiverSong. Since she doesn't have any more travel plans for the time being, she's agreed to stick around for a bit and show me Portsmouth.

As I arrived, Frances was just about to leave for a rehearsal at college so Rosalind and I jumped into her bag so we could go along too! We got out for a breath of fresh air at the bus stop, and on the bus when we discovered that a saxophone case makes a very comfortable seat!

Throughout the rest of the day, we went to a couple of rehearsals for different bands as well as quite an exciting concert in the evening! The wind band played some awesome music, including music from James Bond, and the 1812 Overture.

I am glad I have made it safely to Portsmouth, and although I miss home and my mum I'm looking forward to the adventures I will have!

This evening, Rosalind told me she had a suprise for me. We climbed up on top of Frances' storage unit, and I saw that Rosalind had set up the laptop as a big movie screen! We took our seats, and then Frances started the film.

It was Grease! Rosalind and I had a great time singing along with all the songs, and dancing together (but being careful not to step on any keys so we didn't stop the movie)

We had a really good time hanging out together, and I enjoyed the movie too :)

Today, Rosalind and I went for a walk by the sea front. Well, when I say walk... we sat in Frances' bag for most of it!

We started off at a beautiful garden, where we enjoyed looking at the flowers and the water, and resting on the bench. After that, we walked out to the sea. The water stretches out a long way! Part way along the seafront, we found Southsea Castle which was built by Henry VIII!

Something very exciting happened today! Mimi and George came to join me visiting Portsmouth!

Once we had helped them out of their envelope, we all went for a walk to get some fresh air. We then made some yummy muffins, and tried not to make too much of a mess!

In the evening, we ate fish and chips whilst watching a movie called "Across the Universe" It had lots of good music by the Beatles in it, and the fish and chips were very yummy. I wonder if the fish were caught near here?

Look at meeee! I'm on a boooaat! :D

Today Frances had to do a concert that was in a place she had to get a ferry to go to. Because I am on a mission to go on a boat ride, she took me along with her! It was very exciting! We climbed up to the top, so we could see all around the harbour, and when we got across we looked back at where we had come from!

So today I went on the ferry 4 times! I feel like an experienced boater now :)

Hello!

Today, I went to London with my friends! At first, I got a little bit bored because we spent a lot of time on the train and the underground (if they had just let me fly!) but when we got there we went to Hyde Park where we could play outside!

We went to the Albert Memorial, where we met up with loads of awesome people who use the website deviantArt. There were hundreds of people there, all drawing or writing or photographing, and many of them had brought nice food so I ran around trying everything :)

We got back quite late at night, but couldn't go to sleep straight away because there was an exciting package waiting for us! Porridge has arrived in England! At first, she was sad that she had missed coming to London, but then we found out that we will go again tomorrow!

Hi!

So, after a busy day in London, what better to do than go back for more?! This morning, we were back on the train, this time with the Canadian flag because it's Canada Day! I offered to fly everyone over to Canada, but we decided it'd be a bit of a long way for me to take so many toys, so instead we went to Trafalgar Square as there was a party there!

There was live music, street hockey and stalls selling things like poutine, which is a very yummy combination of chips, gravy and cheese. We got a bit damp, because it was rainy, so we all hid in Frances' rucksack for a while, but we still had fun!

Hi Mom!
I just wanted to let you know that I arrived safe here. It seems to be a very nice place and my host has another TV here for hosting named Dolivia. She is nice and friendly and I am sure we both will have some fun here. As u can see we did celebrate a Little party and made plans for a short trip in the afternoon.

Okay , its afternoon and Dolivia, my host and I decided to take a short trip around Cloppenburg which let us to Texas Airport. Yes you do hear right....wow I am excited. I could swear that Texas is in the United States and the Airport that comes to my mind straight is Dallas/Fort Worth. Well I found out very quick that we did not talk about America here, but hey I have never been at this Texas Airport before and I had nice company, so I did enjoy myself. There was not really much going on...not even a plane on the ground...hmmm we did spend some time on the playground, cause we were told that a plane would arrive in short time. We explored the airport, checked some maps, found out that they have parachuting there also...and then we hurried back to the fence to watch the plane land. Wow that was actually nice to watch. It was time to leave the airport and continue our little journey...but I tell you about that tomorrow. Hugs Mom

Hi Mom!
As I promised yesterday I will tell you what else we found on our little trip. We were still joking about the name of Texas Airport and how funny it actually was to find an airport with that name in Germany, guess where we found each other sitting all of a sudden???????
IN AMERIKA!!!!! Oh my this is totally confusing here in this area. Dolivia and I sat down a bit and learned that the name came up in the earlier years when there was still a moor area around this place. There was a little height right here which was surrounded by moor and that made it very difficult for the people to reach the next little town Garrel. Due to the fact that it took so long to get there they said it takes as long as to travel to America...so there u go....more of me tomorrow (o; Hug

Hi Mom!
Talking of funny places...when we left Amerika we drove straight to Nikolausdorf, which would mean St. Claus Village when u translate it. We were sooooooo excited, I was already counting up all the things that I want for Christmas and we mad a plan to look for Santa all around to be able to give him the wishlist in person. Unfortunately he must have been out...no deer...no sleigh ....no nothing we could find, but now we know where to find him else than at North pole. Christmas time he opens his office we´ve been told and the people there are very busy to answer all his mail. I am curious what we will see next. Bye bye Nikolausdorf and greetings to Santa. Maybe we explore Cloppenburg itself...we didn´t do so far. My host said that u maybe won´t here from me before monday, just so u don´t worry. Hug

Hi Mom!
Like I promised some news from Germany. My host went out for breakfast on Sunday so we had a little check on downtown Cloppenburg. Sunday 10.00am not much going on there, but now we know a little bit about shopping and where to go. They also have this little river Soeste here. You can see it in the first pictures. We enjoyed breakfast together and had lots of fun. We took more pics, but will show you those ones tomorrow. Huggles :D

Hi Mom!
Today I want to show some more pics of the exploration in Cloppenburg. We checked out City Hall. On Sundays also a very quiet place. We saw a stone monument infront of the building that was made for "Kinderschutzbund". Maybe you can see one or the other name on the Foto which was written there by different kids from town. They have also a nice little lake with water lilies and other beautiful flowers around. I took a little rest on one of the leaves. More from me tomorrow ;)

Good Morning!
I wanted to show you some more pics today from the city. We went to Citypark where we found this funny black/white game. We got all dizzy when it started turning around. Another thing that made our heads turn was the court. Geez we had to think about the things we did over the last weeks and if we did anything criminal. As you can see on the pic, we were very careful first, but then we had a little chat infront of the side building and finally made it to the doorsteps of the court, cause we very 100% positive that we have been good TVs so far ((o;

Hi Mom!
Today went to a place of pilgrimage called "Bethen". Its a little village. I hope that you like the pics. Check out the beautiful flowers...nice huh? This area here is a catholic region I learned. The weather is still cold not really summer and rain on top.
As you can see in the pics there is a big church and a little church. We found a pilgrim bible in the big church which we studied for a while. In one picture you can see us with three candles in the back. One was lighten for you. It was a nice little trip and I liked the architecture. I still have fun here with my buddy Dolivia who is experiencing all this with me.

Today was the first day when we had more sun than clouds, so we took the chance to go and check out the garden and taking a sunbath. We met some kittens and their mom...watched them eating cat food, played with them, checked the beautiful flowers out there and played hide and seek. I also showed Dolivia that Dragons can fly. Today we stopped at a place called Staatsforsten. We found that big stone that showed the kilometers to other places. Hahaha can you see how close Amerika is? Remember that is the Amerika I have been already. I took a pic sitting on the big stone there. There was a
colorful old train covert by high grass we visit today. Our host showed us around and we took some pics. Its very sunny today and 30°C. Puuuuhhh we did not stay too long, cause we wanted to drink water, before we left we saw an apple tree, but unfortunately no ripe apples yet.

Hi Mom!

We did visit the Museumsdorf today. We shot a lot of pics so that we will send them in 3 parts the next days so that you can see how it looks there. We were hoping to see the pigs, but they did not want to come out unfortunately. here is what Wikipedia is telling about the Museumsdorf in short:

The Cloppenburg Museum Village and Lower Saxon Open-Air Museum (German: Museumsdorf Cloppenburg – Niedersächsisches Freilichtmuseum) in the Lower Saxon county town of Cloppenburg is the oldest museum village in Germany. The museum is a research and educational establishment in the field of cultural and countryside history.

The Lower Saxon Open-Air Museum is a non-profit organisation. Although the museum does not set out to compete for visitors, in 2009 the Cloppenburg Museum Village had more visitors than any other museum in Lower Saxony (250,000). In 2004 the visitors included about 60,000 children and young people, who took in what the museum had to offer as part of their school curricula.

Hope u enjoy the pics Mom...hug (o;

Hi Mom!
Yesterday our host was driving us up to the coast. She had some personal business to do there and she she tried to do her best to get some good....FAST....shots from the three places we saw there. We traveled only for one day...but check it out. First we visited a little harbor called Fedderwardersiel. It´s location is at the Jadebusen and the river Weser enters the North Sea at that point which you can see in the background in some of the pictures. We had fun even if the time was short.
We show some more pics of the next village tomorrow ;)

Hi Mom!
Here are some pics of what they call the "Lagune" in Burhave. Its a place directly at the water where families can have fun. It was build a couple of years ago and its artificial. Here on the beaches the water is coming and going with the time of the day. It is called "Ebbe and Flut".

"Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun and the rotation of the Earth.

Some shorelines experience two almost equal high tides and two low tides each day, called a semi-diurnal tide. Some locations experience only one high and one low tide each day, called a diurnal tide. Some locations experience two uneven tides a day, or sometimes one high and one low each day; this is called a mixed tide. The times and amplitude of the tides at a locale are influenced by the alignment of the Sun and Moon, by the pattern of tides in the deep ocean, by the amphidromic systems of the oceans, and by the shape of the coastline and near-shore bathymetry

Now you know what "Ebbe and Flut" is (o;

I will follow up with some pics of Burhave beach in a minute

...here we are again with some beach pics. In the background you can see the open North Sea and on some pics you see the town Bremerhaven on the other side. Bremerhaven was called the last town before you reach NYC in earlier years, cause that´s where you went on board to make it to the USA by ship. We will have some closer pics of Bremerhaven tomorrow (o; Like I mentioned already yesterday we had only a very small time frame for the pics so we did not have that much time to play around, but got a great overview (o;

On the first pics you can see lookout point from the Blexen bank to Bremerhaven. On our first day we travelled to Blarney, a town near Cork, located in the South of Ireland.
There you can find the famous "Blarney Castle" with his very famous "Blarney Stone"
The Blarney Stone (Irish: Cloch na Blarnan) is a block of bluestone built into the battlements of Blarney Castle, Blarney, about 8 kilometres from Cork. According to legend, kissing the stone endows the kisser with the gift of the gab (great eloquence or skill at flattery). The stone was set into a tower of the castle in 1446. The castle is a popular tourist site in Ireland, attracting visitors from all over the world to kiss the stone and tour the castle and its gardens.

This is the castle

And here's the stone:

We found this sign under the stone:

Mizen Head (Irish: Carn Uí Néid), is located at the extremity of a peninsula in the district of Carbery in County Cork, Ireland. It is one of the extreme points of the island of Ireland, noted for its dramatic cliff scenery. One of the main transatlantic shipping routes passes close by to the south, and Mizen Head was, for many seafarers, the first (or last) sight of Europe. The tip of the peninsula is almost an island, cut off by a deep chasm, now spanned by a bridge; this gives access to an old signalling station, a weather station, and a lighthouse. The signalling station, once permanently manned, is now a museum housing displays relating to the site's strategic significance for transatlantic shipping and communications, including the pioneering efforts of Guglielmo Marconi. The "99 steps" which formed part of the original access route have been supplemented by a series of paths and viewing platforms.

I LOVE THE ISLE OF BEARA!!! It's such a beautiful place. I don't have words...
The Beara Peninsula (Irish: Béarra) is a peninsula on the south-west coast of Ireland, bounded between the Kenmare "river" (actually a bay) to the north side and Bantry Bay to the south. It has two mountain ranges running down its centre: the Caha Mountains and the Slieve Miskish Mountains. The northern part of the peninsula from Kenmare to near Ardgroom is in County Kerry, while the rest forms the barony of Bear in County Cork.

Today we went hiking and Geocaching. Found it!!  B)

Dursey Island (Irish: Baoi Bhéarra or Oileán Baoi) lies at the southwestern tip of the Beara Peninsula. It is 6.5 km long and 1.5 km wide. The island is separated from the mainland by a narrow stretch of water called Dursey Sound which has a very strong tidal race, with a reef of rocks in the centre of the channel which is submerged at high tides.
The island is connected to the mainland by Ireland's only cable car, and the only cable car which goes over sea water in Europe! Dursey has no shops, pubs or restaurants. The population is about 6 people.

And you know what - they used the cable car to bring sheep to the island some years ago!  :cyclops:

WOW - the view at Moll's Gap was amazing!!
Moll's Gap is a pass on the N71 road from Kenmare to Killarney in County Kerry Ireland. The area is a panoramic spot on the Ring of Kerry route, with views of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks mountains. The rocks at Moll's gap are formed of Old Red Sandstone.
Moll's Gap is named after Moll Kissane.

We went on a hiking tour round Muckross Lake in Killarney. The woods there must be hundreds of years old, the trees are so huuuuuge!!!
We stopped on the bridge between the Muckross Lake and Lough Leane to take a picture  :D - see below.

It's located in Killarney National Park. Killarney National Park (Irish: Páirc Náisiúnta Chill Airne) is located beside the town of Killarney. It was the first national park established in Ireland. The park encompasses over 102.89 km2 (25,425 acres) of diverse ecology, including the Lakes of Killarney, Oak and Yew woodlands of international importance, and mountain peaks. It has Ireland's only native herd of Red Deer and the most extensive covering of native forest remaining in Ireland. The park is of high ecological value because of the quality, diversity, and extensiveness of many of its habitats and the wide variety of species that they accommodate, some of which are rare. The park was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1981.

One day, we visited the Cliffs of Moher. Mom, they are really really impressing!!!

The Cliffs of Moher (Irish: Aillte an Mhothair) are located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region. They rise 120 metres (390 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag's Head, and reach their maximum height of 214 metres (702 ft) just north of O'Brien's Tower, eight kilometres to the north.
O'Brien's Tower is a round stone tower near the midpoint of the cliffs built in 1835 by Sir Cornelius O'Brien to impress female visitors. From the cliffs and from atop the watchtower, visitors can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, the Maumturks and Twelve Pins mountain ranges to the north in County Galway, and Loop Head to the south.

We felt like being on the moon in The Burren, the countryside is absolutely bleak, but fantastic!

The Burren (Irish: Boireann, meaning "great rock") is a karst-landscape region or alvar in northwest County Clare. It is one of the largest karst landscapes in Europe. The region measures approximately 250 square kilometres. It is bounded by the Atlantic and Galway Bay on the west and north, respectively.
A small portion of the Burren has been designated as Burren National Park. It is one of only six National Parks in the Republic of Ireland and the smallest in size (15 km²).

Of course, we visited the famous Poulnabrone Dolmen.
Poulnabrone Dolmen (Poll na mBrón in Irish meaning "hole of the quern stones") is a portal tomb in The Burren, dating back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BC to 2900 BC. The dolmen consists of a twelve-foot, thin, slab-like, tabular capstone supported by two slender portal stones, which lift the capstone.

We found the place where British aviators Alcock and Brown landed the first non-stop transatlantic flight in June 1919. They flew a modified World War I Vickers Vimy bomber from St. John's, Newfoundland, to Clifden. The Secretary of State for Air, Winston Churchill, presented them with the Daily Mail prize for the first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in 'less than 72 consecutive hours'. There was also a small amount of mail carried on the flight making it the first transatlantic airmail flight. The two aviators were awarded the honour of Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) a week later by King George V at Windsor Castle.

On our last day, we visited the famous Kylemore Abbey.
Kylemore Abbey (Irish: Mainistir na Coille Móire) is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle. The abbey was founded for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium in World War I.

Hi Mommy,

I'm doing good  :D
We are expecting guests tomorrow and hostmum asked Viola and I to help her with the planning of the menu.

We are planning to bake Soda Bread because we tasted it in Ireland and liked it very much. Look, you can find recipes in the internet
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/cookingI.jpg

And we are going to cook a pumpkin soup - it's pumpkin time here  :p. We found a yummy recipe!
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/cookingII.jpg

We wrote down all ingredients we'll need for the dinner
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/cookingVI.jpg

Let's check if we have everything we need.
We'll definitely need sharp knives to carve the pumpkin! Yes, they are here:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/cookingIII.jpg

Hey, we don't need to buy ginger for the soup, it's already there. And some fruit for the dessert  ;)

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/cookingV.jpg

So, we're going to the supermarket now. Will update you later with some cooking news :o

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/pumpkin.jpg

Then we scooped them out. This was very laborious  :o Look at our tools and the waste:

Today, we cooked pumpkin soup. Hmmmmmmm - yummy!!!

First we had to prepare the vegetables. Brook was Chef de Cuisine  B) and cut green onions
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/pumpkinsoup1.jpg

Afterwards, we had to carve the pumpkin. Goodness, this was a very hard one!!! But finally we made it  :D
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/pumpkinsoup2.jpg

After this hard work we had to pause for a breath ... and for a sherry  ;)
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/pumpkinsoup3.jpg

We put all the ingredients into a huge cooking pot and added several spices

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57082259/TV%20Fotos/2012%20Toy%20Voyagers/Verlinkt/pumpkinsoup5.jpg

Finally, soup was ready and I must admit it was superb  :D

There was a big storm that knocked out the power for quite a few days. We were out of power for about 2 days....but it didn't seem so bad until we heard about a large sinkhole that happen in Robbinsdale! It's not that far from us! The hole was 60 feet wide and 20 feet deep!!! We took a trip down to see the sink hole a few days later after the power was restored and the weather was better. We got a ice cream cone from McDonalds while checking out the sink hole. It was very hot outside!

Hey!! Nothing much has been going on here but we did have a movie night. We watched “Hitch” and “Couples Retreat”. They were good movies and fun to hang out with everyone! Erika, Kasimir, Pit, Bambi, and I had an awesome time together!

Meet Hitch (Will Smith), New York City's greatest matchmaker. Love is his job and he'll get you the girl of your dreams in just three easy dates, guaranteed! And that's exactly what happens when Albert Brennaman (TV's Kevin James, "The King of Queens") wins the heart of gorgeous society heiress Allegra Cole (supermodel Amber Valletta). So when tabloid columnist Sara Melas (Eva Mendes, Stuck On You, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) decides to uncover the secret behind the tubby schlub's success, she's shocked to discover that Alex Hitchens, the charming young man she's been seeing, is the legendary date doctor himself. Exposed in a front-page scoop, it's now up to Alex to try to save Albert and Allegra's relationship as well as his own. Which only goes to show that just when you think you've found true love, there's always a HITCH.

Bambi and I went to The Great Minnesota State Fair!! The Minnesota State Fair’s mission is to educate and involve our guests by providing a world-class showcase that is innovative, entertaining and fun. We got to go see a cool horse show, eat out of proportioned stuff, rode a cool ride that over sees the entire state fair, rode a cool trolley, got to see a cool parade, see some cool animals and people watch.

There is a first time for everything and for many people their first pair of Dr. Martens is a memorable moment in time, an opening statement of self-expression and creativity. Over the past 50 years Dr. Martens boots and shoes haven’t changed - the original styles are still simple, versatile, functional and stylish all at the same time.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance fair, an interactive outdoor event which focuses on recreating the look and feel of a fictional 16th Century "England-like" fantasy kingdom. We went on “Ladies Shopping Day”, which we got a discount fee to get in, free stuff, glass of wine, and an entry to win some cool prizes, which we didn’t win but it was still fun! =)

This was an awesome act! They were throwing swords and juggling them and doing unbelievably dangerous things! They are called the Danger Committee on the Bakery Stage. The Danger Committee is an incredible combination of juggling, knife throwing, spine tingling thrills and hilarious comedy. They have performed on national television and at theaters, festivals and corporate events across the country. Their unique blend of the hilarious and the dangerous while performing unbelievable feats of skill has made The Danger Committee one of the most talked about new acts in the country. They have taken on national notoriety on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and have since had multiple appearances on national television and stages from New York to Las Vegas.

Tried some cool looking fruit…..called Kiwi Berries. It had an interesting texture. Kiwi berries are one of the most exciting new fruits to come into the produce market in years. About the size of a grape, kiwi berries are a small variety of kiwi fruit that have a smooth, edible skin. The fuzz-free exterior makes it easy to pop this berry-like fruit into your mouth as a quick and delicious snack. They are also great in fruit salads! Kiwi berries are packed with flavor… but they have a short season, so get them while you can!

Chloe, Chino and I took a trip to get acupuncture done to be able to feel good and with one itself. Acupuncture stimulates powerful points on the body that can balance your body from within and allow it to heal.  Thousands of years of clinical experience using more than 400 points on the body have shown the effectiveness of this healing modality.  Whether they work through increasing circulation, stimulating nerves, or releasing endorphins remains to be seen, but the centuries of experience have shown how powerful acupuncture is for healing the body naturally. At Healing InSight, they believe that every person is unique and the care should be personalized for your specific needs.  Traditional Chinese Medicine is powerful enough to treat each person as an individual.  We go beyond just treating your symptoms – we’re healing the root of your problem so it doesn’t come back.  You’ll find that our combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and food therapy can transform your life and your health.

WHEW!  What a long trip, but only three days, not bad postal service!  Thanks for delivering me quickly to my new destination!

Today I just wanted to relax and rest my wings from my travels.  So I went to the backyard and had a look see.  I also met two of my new three beagle friends, Molly (the brown dog) and Hammie (the grey/blue dog).

I also had a really yummy beverage, raspberry woodchuck cider.  SOOO Yummy.

I met an outgoing TV named Paluqtaq.  Abbey is Paluqtaqs mommy.  I watched Seinfeld with him for awhile.  It was pretty fun! She is happy to be sending him out on his travels!

This evening we went out for Thai food.  It was SOOO delicious.  Abbey and I shared Pineapple red curry and her husband had pumpkin curry.  I tasted that too.  It was delicious!

Today we drove out to Houston, Alaska for a stop at Miller's Market.  They have the BEST soft serve ice cream.  They also have a giant ice cream cone.  The ice cream was so good!

Today we went to a birthday party for Abbey and her husbands godson/nephew.  It was a lot of fun.  He has celiac disease, so all the food was gluten free.  It was surprisingly good despite that!  Aren't the cupcakes cute? :)  His mom made them.

Then we had to drive back to Anchorage.

Today we also went and celebrated Abbey's dads birthday.  We had coconut cake and it was SOOO delicious.  I have such a full tummy from all the delicious food today!

We also played a game which was pretty fun too!

Well, today was the first day of school since I arrived.  Fun!  Today was anatomy class, where we discussed the respiratory system.  It was actually pretty boring, but hey, it can't all be the best thing ever!

Today was Anatomy lab day.  I helped Abbey study the respiratory system anatomy and color in some of the parts.  It was a lot to memorize.  But, the lab was interesting.  Apparently they were doing a little protein digestion experiment.  It was not interesting mom said.  I had to stay in the cubby while lab went on.

Today I went to breakfast with Abbey's dad and her nephew at IHOP.  Abbey had whole wheat pancakes but didn't get to finish them because her nephew was a big distraction and doesn't like to sit in his car seat while everyone eats.  He likes to be held. :)  That's fine with Abbey until he puked all over her.

Today Abbey and I made an apple pie.  It was SO FUN!  The pie didn't turn out perfect, but let's just say I put my mark on it!

Today was an exciting day.  I haven't been missing, but my host, Abbey has been not feeling very well.  A new friend arrived today!  Benno!

Well, it was an exciting couple of days!  First we went to the yogurt shoppe and got some frozen yogurt which host mom did up with whipped cream and all sorts of delicious things!  I tried some, it was delicious!

Then, I helped her with her medicine which wasn't fun for her, but interesting to me!

Then, I got to go outside in the snow for the first time here.  That was pretty fun.  It has warmed up to 25*F so it's been pretty nice my host mom says.  I'm not so sure.  The ice and snow keep it pretty cold.

Then I helped host mom with her other hobby, letter boxing.  It is really fun.  You carve stamps and then hide them in the woods places.  Pretty cool stuff.  This one is being mailed however because it is too cold and snowy to be hidden just yet.  So, it's mailed around the US until it gets back to Alaska.

Then we took a group shot with all of the little friends that have arrived here.  It's been busy and entertaining!
