Noisy Posted May 29, 2012, 7:44 pm	Josie and I went on a short camping trip  with noisy's daughter and her friends, but the girls made only a few pictures :-(
Noisy Posted Jun 9, 2012, 7:42 pm	The boys were gone playing football, so Josie and I decided to cook something yummi for them, because they are very hungry when they will come home. We made a pasta salad and sausages -easy to make and very yummi :-) I really think it tasted good. After eating we snuggled a long time.
Noisy Posted Jun 20, 2012, 8:26 pm	Noisy took 3*Euro, Josie and me to the stable for helping her with the work. But first she told us about a little guy called Däumling who was been eaten by a cow ---iiiiiiieeeeh---, so we stayed near Noisy's hand. Noisy was wondering, why there were only a few eggs in the chicken coop and looked where the chicken has lyed the eggs. We found them in the duck coop. All ducks of Noisy were stolen from the fox :-( the eggs are quite big, nearly as big as I am :-) We saw Gabriel's rooster and one of his chicken. The chicken has the same colours like me :-) We went to the cowshed - and stayed near Noisy! then we looked for the machines...the BIIIIIg machines... What a hard day! Now we will go to bed and maybe Noisy will tell us the whole story of the Däumling... sleep well....see you soon.

Noisy Posted Jun 24, 2012, 1:58 pm	Today HömpfMömpf and I were allowed to visit a primary school. Each tuesday Noisy is helping some children with their homework. I looked around in the classroom and found a little teddy sitting there. He told me that the pupil sometimes are very loud and that he's glad when the school is over in the noon at 3:15 pm. But he told me, too, that he has learned a lot of interesting things since he lives in this classroom. There were posters at the wall showing what to eat in the break, what happens in the nature in June, and much more. And I looked at the nice pictures and the calender.

We made a walk through Weilburg before we have to say good bye. this is the Staatliche Technikakademie Weilburg we played on a playground took a photo with Grand Duke Adolph Schloss-Hotel around the castle a fountain inside the courtyard we walked through the castle's garden climbed downstairs to see the Orangerie found a sundial had a great view to the Landtor had fun with these guys  climbed upstairs walked through this gate we haven't had any fear even if he looked angry crossed the market place and enjoyed this beautyful view on our way home. Today in the evening I will hop into my travelbox to meet mmm105 in Finland!
mmm105 Posted Jul 9, 2012, 3:36 pm	Hello mom! I arrived to Jyväskylä, Finland today! Jyväskylä is a town in Central-Finland, and there's living about 132 000 people. I saw many other toys there, when I came out of my box. They all seems to be nice. They said welcome to me. And here I am with my notebook, a nice postcard and lots of candies. As a welcome, I ate a heart-shaped bun. It was really good. And here are we all toys having a welcome party of mine and Honeymooners, who arrived here today, too. Love, Lina xxx

mmm105 Posted Jul 13, 2012, 11:19 am	Hello mom! I was walking outside today. I saw a nice small park. And there I saw this statue of Uno Cygnaeus (1810-1888). He is considered the father of the Finnish public school system. And because the boy in the statue is reading, I feel like I want to read something. Kurnau show me the local library building. Kurnau helped me and Honeymooners to find a book about sheeps/lambs. There's so many books!!! Even more books are outside the photo. And yes, we found it!!!  There's an art statue in the library building. This one is called "Tiedonpuu" ("A tree of knowledge"). It has made in 1980. And there's also a nice exhibition about the history of Jyväskylä-city, the dolls are showing things about this town's developement. In 1850's Jyväskylä was a small town with many craftsmen. In 1900's came first railways, and it helped making connections to the World. In 1910's industrialization grows and became more and more important. In 1940's Jyväskylä was important supporting hometown during wars. In 1970's trafic grows fast, and it was necessary to build bigger and better streets. In 1980-1990's the activities of free-time got more popularity. (And by the way, ice hockey is very popular activity in Finland, and Jyväskylä is the current Champion in Finnish ice hockey.) In 2000's Jyväskylä became a bigger town, because some federations of municipalities has made (smaller cities joined together to became one bigger city). Love, Lina xxx

mmm105 Posted Jul 15, 2012, 9:49 pm	Hi mom! Today I saw some public art works outside. They are all so unique. This one is called as "Elämän koulu - vastuu, luottamus, luovuus" In English it might be something like "A school of life - responsibility, trust, creativity" This one is "Karhu" ("A Bear"). The artist's name is Oskari Raja-aho, and the statue has made in the year 1930. Look, we all are riding on the bear!  This one is "Keinumieli-Tyhjämieli-Häkkimieli" and the artist is Juhani Petäjäniemi, and it has made in 1989. The name is difficult to translate into English, but it might be something like "a mind of swing - a mind of emptyness - a mind of cage". I like this statue. It looks like there's two people flying. The name of the statue is "Elinehto-ajatus-liiketoiminta" and the artist is Heikki Häiväoja, and it has made in 1979. The translation of the statue's name is "Lifeline-idea-business". And there's a statue "Kauppias ja apulainen" ("A Merchant and his assistant). The artist is Pauli Koskinen, and it has made in 1959. And this one has made the same artist, Pauli Koskinen, in the year 1957. It is art in the outside wall of the building. And it's name is "Reliefi" After walking a little there started to be dark clouds in the sky, so we turned walking back, and we hoped to arrive 'home' before it's raining...   ...But mommy, we didn't managed. It started raining so quickly. And the  rain, it was HARD, we got totally wet within one minute. We run back 'home', and inside it was time to get dry again, aww... What an adventure!!! Wow, so far. "Hello! My name is Phog. I'm from Germany, but I was visiting in South Africa." said this cute dog to us. We introduced ourselves, too. And almost immediately I saw the beautiful nature of Finland, so many green coloured trees, the fresh air, and so on. Oh, it's so nice to be here! And this is an orthodox church of Jyväskylä. And this is an evankelic lutherian church of Jyväskylä. The church has buildt in 1929, and the architect was Elsi Borg. This church has called also "the church of angels". Then I continued my walking, and I found a river named Tourujoki. This river goes through the city of Jyväskylä. It's about 2 kilometres long river, and it goes from the lake Palokkajärvi to the lake Jyväsjärvi. Here are we all toys: me, Kurnau, Wayne, Totoro, Honeymooners, Hunny, Phog, Kit-Kat, Ronja, BarryO, TobiHH and Druri. And there's a bridge of Tourujoki. Love, Lina xxx
mmm105 Posted Jul 20, 2012, 4:38 pm	Hello! I visited in the natural park of Jyväskylä. It's so cool forest area just next to the river Tourujoki. It's a nature conservation area in the middle of Jyväskylä. At first, we need to go down to the long wooden old stairs. It was exiting! Look, how beautiful nature there is! Can you see those weird things in the tree? They are "kääpä" in Finnish, they are some kind of mushrooms growing in old trees. How cool! It's time to have a little brake, and just relax. Then it's time to walk forward. We walk on the "pitkospuut", the wooden path on the ground. There must be this wooden path, because the ground is so wet. It was a nice place, this small natural park! mmm105 Posted Jul 21, 2012, 12:03 pm	Hei äiti! Hello mommy! Today I went to the grocery store to buy some food. ToyVoyager Phog was there, too. Together we walked through the big shop, and it was like an adventure! A nice adventure! Mommy, smile! There's two flags of Finland. The blue colour symbolised the blue sky, the white colour symbolised the white snow, and the shape of cross symbolised Scandinavia. Hostmom bought some yarns to her hobby: making amigurumis We met a green bird, but he was boring, because he didn't say anything. He was quiet. Then it's time to bought some food. First, some bananas (a banana = banaani) ...and oranges (an orange = appelsiini) strawberries (a strawberry = mansikka), and raspberries (a raspberry = vadelma) eggs (an egg = kananmuna) By the way, mommy, don't be worry about the hens up there, they are not real hens. fish (a fish = kala) milk (maito) Look, mommy, there's so nice pictures on the milk packet! A cow riding a bike, and a flying cow!!!  These are carelian pies (karjalanpiirakka). They are typical Finnish food. Maybe someday I can taste it, and tell you more about it... And there's the most popular rye bread in Finland. (a rye bread = ruisleipä) Then it's time to go back 'home'. We sat in the car, while hostmom was driving. Love, Lina xxx
mmm105 Posted Jul 21, 2012, 1:58 pm	Hi mommy! Today I visited in the Craft Museum of Finland. Due to water damage, there were only small exhibitions of different things. They all were very colourful and nice exhibitions! Just look by yourself, mommy... I hope you can feel the atmosphere through these photos. There's some Karelian national costumes. And there's very old ski supplies. This is very colourful art, isn't it? This one is so colourful, too. Do you think there's all the colours of the rainbow? mmm105 Posted Jul 21, 2012, 2:52 pm	Hello! I had very exiting adventure last night! Kurnau had an idea. He told us that hostmom is a nurse in profession, and we might have a chance to visit her workplace. So, all we tiny sized toys climbed into hostmom's bag, and we waited... We were hiding in the bag. We would surprise hostmom in her workplace, hihii... Hostmom had a night shift, so our toys very important task to do was keep a company to her and helped her to stay awake hole night long. In the hospital we met some new friends: mascots of the hostmom's workplace. We toys had so much fun together! This place was really exiting! There were lots of medicines in that room!!! We found a stethoscope, and we listened our sounds of hearts. It was fun! Then we drove the hallways with a wheelchaire. Now I'm tired... ZZZzzz  zzZZZ  zz ZZZZZ ZZZzzzz Love, Lina xxx

mmm105 Posted Jul 27, 2012, 4:17 pm	Hi mom! I was walking outside today. I wanted to see, what kind of city this is. And I liked it! In this town, Jyväskylä, there's living about 132 000 people. And guess what? In this summer it's the 175th birthday of this town. I visited in a place called "kirkkopuisto" (a church park). There I saw this beautiful church just in the middle of the park surrounded by green grass, trees and beautiful flowers. The church has buildt in 1880, and the architecht was L. I. Linqvist. In the church park, there's a statue of Minna Canth (1844-1897). She was a famous Finnish writer and social activist. Her works addresses issues of women's rights. There's another nice statue. mmm105 Posted Jul 29, 2012, 4:28 pm	Hello mommy! Today Kurnau wanted to show me something. He said the place where we will go is great. He was so mysterious...  So, we went outside and started to walk. Kurnau said this place is called Harju. It's like a small hill just next to city center. And there's such a great and long stairs there. We all climbed up these long stairs. Up there is the building called Vesilinna. I'm so exited, because Kurnau said we are going to up in this high tower to see great views! There's the city center. And the lake in the picture is named Jyväsjärvi. Look, the lake is so close to city center!!! And by the way, did you know that there's about 188 000 lakes in total in Finland? Lots of lakes, isn't it? So cool!  There's the sport stadium of Harju. And there's the view to the direction where hostmom is living. She is living just next to the lake. On the downstairs of the building Vesilinna, there's the Natural History Museum (Keski-Suomen luontomuseo). We visited there. There's hirvi (a moose). It's the biggest animal living in Finland. There's joutsen (a swan). It's the national bird of Finland. And there's susi (a wolf). It was such a great place to visit! Love, Lina

mmm105 Posted Aug 3, 2012, 6:17 pm	Hello mom! I visited in a new place today: Korpilahti. It's located very near of Jyväskylä. I was there, because there was a postcrossing meeting, and it's one of hostmom's hobby. I had such a great time in the meeting, and I met new ToyVoyagers there! Another host (Fendi) was there, too, and offcourse with all her toys and toy-guests (PieksiHH, Nils and Kitsune). We all toys have really fun time together! When hostmom and other humans there wrote postcards, we toys were eating their snacks, hih. After eating we got thirsty, so we made coffee. And then we played hide and seek! But it didn't go so well, because the most of us was hiding under the glass. After eating and playing I wrote a postcard. Here are only some of the postcards what postcrossers wrote. And here we toys are helping to mail those postcards. It was really fun to join in the meeting!  Love, Lina
mmm105 Posted Aug 3, 2012, 6:21 pm	Hi mommy! After postcrossing meeting I wanted to take a look this place, Korpilahti. We all toys visited in the harbour of Korpilahti. There happened really fun thing! hih!    We others had sooooo fun time, when Kurnau gave an interview to the ice cream!!!  Then some wild ducks came to swim in the harbour! Look, we found this little (and weird) fountain there. And the car behind it looks cool, isn't it?  This building is quite unique looking, I think. And there are we toys, with hostmom. Then we found a playground, and we had some great time there!!! Look, we are sailing! And offcourse we climbed! It was really fun day!!! Love, Lina

He goes to USA to his new host. We said goodbye to him, and wished a safe and confortable journey. And then the new toy Cody Otter beaver arrived here. He told very interesting stories about his travels. He has a travel memories notebook with him, and he showed it to us. It was nice! Love, Lina

I ate together with Kurnau something really Finnish thing: karjalanpiirakka (a Karelian pie).  Kurnau told, that nowadays in the most familiar and common recipe is  to make Karelian pies from a thin rye crust with a filling of rice. Butter, often mixed with boiled egg (egg butter or munavoi), is spread over the hot pies before eating. And mommy, I have to say: These are good!!!  You really should try these some day! After eating the hole Karelian pie, Kurnau asked if I would like to have a tea party.  So, Kurnau invited all others to come to drink some tea.  And we had a great tea party! We talked, and laughed to each other. It was really nice way to spend the afternoon. Mommy, just take a look at the pictures, and you will see how much fun time we all had. Love, Lina

mmm105 Posted Aug 10, 2012, 2:09 pm	Hello mommy! Finally it has stopped raining outside, and I could go to little walk there. Mom, can you see the white house in the backround? It's the house where Kurnau and hostmom mmm105 are living. And there's me, too, living while my visit here. Look what I found!    So many raindrops!!! A group photo of us This is one of the many buildings in Jyväskylä, which has designed a World-famous architect Alvar Aalto. More info about him you can find for example here. A small interesting detail I want to share with you: Jyväskylä is the city where are more buildings designed by Alvar Aalto than in any other country!!! Very near was a playground. And offcourse we went there!  Mommy, look! I think I'm the very first little sheep who has sitting on the bird's head! Then little bit swinging... ...and then sliding! wiihiiiii! And then (offcourse) all together! WIIHIIIII!!!! It was fun! So FUN! Look how happy I am!!! On the way back inside, I climbed in the tree. Can you see me? And if you are wondering what the light in the backround is, I can tell you it's the sun. Yes, it has started to set down already. And mommy!!! Watch VERY carefully the grass! mmm105 Posted Aug 10, 2012, 9:08 pm	Hello! I had such an exiting day today. Hostmom took me and other toys with her and went to drive a car. And guess where we went? We went to visit hostmom's friend. Yes, we all were there. There was a Tupperware home party there. Do you know Tupperware? I think it's popular in many countries. They have good quality things to use in every-day-life. I met many nice other people there, and we made some smoothies (and drank them) and some croissants, too (and offcourse we ate them, too). We went to see the monitoimitalo (it's like a sport center), and especially the pictures in the wall of that building. They are so cool!!! Look, there's human pictures doing different sports! mmm105 Posted Aug 23, 2012, 10:32 am	Hey mommy! Today I had a great day. Guess what I was doing? I visited in the city named Äänekoski. It's located quite near of Jyväskylä, just little bit North.  We found a magical little shop named Pompom. The owner of the shop was really nice, and she aloud us to sit on the hammock! It was so fun!  And mommy, can you believe that the owner of the shop was fall in love with Wayne-cincerbreadman!!! So funny!!! It was love in the first sight. We found other interesting things from there. Look, this is an antique bed full of different coloured strings!  What do you think about this chair? Is it very colourful? Do you think there's all colours of the rainbow in the chair? Oh, and the best part visiting in the shop was meeting other toys there. They were very nice, and together we had so fun time. They were interested about travelling... who knows, if they will be a ToyVoyagers someday...  After shopping we ordered some pizzas and then we went to another building, and there we took part in the postcrossing meeting!!! But because there's so many of them, we only visited some. Can you believe there's more than 70 illuminated sites to admire in Jyväskylä? At first, we went to see the bridge of Kuokkala. And then we visited in the harbour. And before going back, we visited the Church Park. And now I'm ready to go to sleep a little... ZZZzzz  zZZZzzzZZz ZZZZzzzzz zzzZZZZzzZzz... Love, Lina

mmm105 Posted Aug 25, 2012, 6:32 pm	Hi mommy! Yesterday I read a local newspaper Keskisuomalainen. It was little difficult to read it, because everything was written in Finnish. But hostmom was nice, and she helped me to translate it.  Almost immediatelly I noticed the interesting thing in the first page. There's a picture of parrot, and the headline "Torsti and Kalle osaavat puhua" which means "Torsti and Kalle can speak". I read to hole article of these talking parrots. It says they have started parrots' school! They are learning tricks!  And mommy, guess what happened today!!! It was something really great!!! We went to meet these famous parrots!!! They are living in Jyväskylä region.  So, today me, Sausi Karl, Kurnau, Flowipowi, Cody Otter, Phog, Hunny and Ranja Dragon went to the place called Viherlandia, the place where Torsti and Kalle are living. This place is like a garden centre, the perfect place to find for example flowers, plants, stone product, garden supplies, interior decorating products etc.  Are you agree that this place looks like a jungle?  Let me introduce... Kalle.... No, it's Torsti... No, I mean Kalle...  Well, I don't know, which one this is...    But anyway, this parrot said: "Terve! Mitä kuuluu?" (it means: "Hello! How are you?") mmm105 Posted Aug 29, 2012, 10:28 am	Hello! Today arrived two toys here: Alberto monkey from Spain, and Nyankororin cat from Japan. This is Alberto. He has a T-shirt with him, and I wanted to try it on. We all laughed so much, because the shirt was little too big, and I looked hilarious!  And this is Nyankororin. Then we had a party! Kurnau put a music on. He was our DJ. And then we dance...  ...and dance... ...and dance even more... ...untill we got tired. It was really fun! Love, Lina

And today arrived another new toy here, Leila sheep from Lithuania. Look mommy! Leila looks almost the same as me!!! There's already an autumn in Finland. It was a raining day, so we didn't go very far. But I saw many things, what is typical in Finland at this time of the year. Look all those different colours! Today I was outside, and I saw some great things of the autumn. Look the photos, mom, and you can see the colours of nature, too. Yes, it's the most colourful time of this season, very soon all trees will be "naked", and then it's time wait some snow coming. mmm105 Posted Oct 22, 2012, 1:39 pm	Hi mommy! Today I visited to see the oldest building of Jyväskylä. The building called as Taavettilan riihi, which is in English the drying barn of Taavettila. The building has buildt somewhere in 1700's, the exact year is unknown. First, building used as a drying barn, but somewhere in 1800's it became usual barn/cabin and it got windows then. In 1900's the building started to be a cabin museum. Jyväskylän vanhin rakennus = the oldest building of Jyväskylä Riihi muutettu tuvaksi 1800-luvun alussa = a drying barn has turn to be a cabin in the beginning of 1800's Jyväskylän yliopisto = University of Jyväskylä Rakennus 3 = Building 3 Because we didn't have a chance to go in (the door was closed), we decided to look through the window... It's the first snow!!!  Winter is just around the corner... Temperature has been about -3 degrees Celcius the hole day. Brrrrr... snow is so cold! All others came to sit on the snow, too. Brrrrrrr... Yosemite Posted Nov 3, 2012, 9:03 am	Hey Mummy! I am back in Germany! When I arrived at my new hosts I had a dejavu... I felt curious familiar with this location... Then I found out the reason! This is the place where my life started! My new hostmum once freed me from a shelf and sent me to my Mum as a present and now I am back! And the very best: I met my sister Luna!!! She lives here and we´ll spent a lot of time together! She introduced me to the other TVs here. Joesyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! The cute monkey girl and Jethroooooooooo the blue elephant are TVs of my Mom, too  I am really happy to meet them! Luna showed me a little Bobby Car, exactly the right size for me! Yosemite Posted Nov 6, 2012, 5:34 pm	Dear Mummy, today we helped hostmum to bake cookies. She needed a new recipe for her work. So we looked in a magazine for one if the most yummie candies. The decided to make lemon cookies. Hostmum and the other TVs made the dough, whereas Lina, Schaefli, Fipsy and me were responsible for the filling. We readed the description once more, we wanted to make everything really perfect! We grated the marzipane on the dough, now it looked like a sweet pizza  But the icing made the cookies complete! We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal! But we sneaked a peek in the pots. Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie! We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Yosemite Posted Dec 14, 2012, 7:33 pm	Snow, snow, everywhere snow! The whole day it snowed! We waited patiently at home until hostmum came home and then we asked her if we could go out. And she said yes! We took three old sleighs and went down to the garden. We cued our sleighs up in an line and hostmum wanted to pull us through the garden. But when we saw the perfect sleigh run we had a better idea! We built three teams: Team jo-mlp/mcDaniels on sleigh number 1, Team Jethro/MA_17 on sleigh number 2, and me and Joesy on sleigh number 3. What a challenge! We wanted to start but Joesy fell headfirst in the snow! And I fell backwards in the snow  But Mummy, don´t worry, we are well! We watched the race from the loge and saw the winning team! Now we are all together drying in the heater
Yosemite Posted Dec 25, 2012, 9:08 am	Dear Mummy, tonight something crazy was going on in the living room. During the night a tree has grown there. But hostmum explained that it is christmas and this is our christmas tree. We were allowed to help with the decoration. Joesy and me were responsible for the pretty small balls. We acrried them up the tree and at least hostdad helped us to hang it on  After we finished we rested for a while... Maybe I slept for a few moments like and angel  What do you think? There he roasted meat and vegetables for a goulash. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring. Yosemite Posted Feb 10, 2013, 9:06 am	dear Mummy, early in this morning Maeusle asked me if I would like to take part in a yoga lesson. I never did this before and so I said yes! Because I am one of the smalles TVs here I took a place in the front. My sister Joesy and her friend 3*Euro sat down in the back...  At first we sang Ommmmmmmmmm to calm down. Then we made the position of the dog, that means push your bottom to the top (no problem) and press arms (big problem!!!) and legs to the floor. Well not each position is so easy for a sheep. But Maeusle said this is no problem, Yoga is what goes on in you head... The position of the cobra was easier to handle for me. But I liked the relaxation to the end most  I don´t know why  Yours, Lina
Yosemite Posted Mar 10, 2013, 8:55 am	Dear Mummy, last week we reached Bad Berleburg. We accompany hostmum at her regimen. There is still some snow! We made a short walk through the city. In a park we saw a crazy thing made out of metal. What should this be??? It looked like a cage... But then we saw that the are numbers in it and hostmum explained that this is a sun dial. After a short sit-in in the snow we decided to visit the castle and the park. On ourway back to the clinic I smelled some relatives. Hostmum, hostmum, I want to take look who is there! We went across the street and saw a sheep flock in an encolure. I talked to them and promised to come back with some yummie food  Maybe I will fulfill one of my life missions here??? Love you, Mummy! Yosemite Posted Mar 11, 2013, 9:54 am	Dear Mummy, today there was a therapy lesson in my therapy book. So I went down to the spa and got a very relaxing foam bath. I dunk into the hot water and immediately I felt so stress-relieved, I never wanted to go out  But suddelny hostmum said that my time is over and I had to towel my fur, my hoofes and my ears  But now I am really relaxed and the week can start!
