I have arrived in Portsmouth! It was a long journey, but I was relieved when I was helped out of my envelope by my new friends Kasimir Kashmir, Virgo, Porridge, Rosalind, Mimi and George. They have just come back from a holiday in Scotland, so they have told me all about it!

I only recently arrived, and already I am saying goodbye to two of my new friends as they go off to continue their journeys! Virgo and Rosalind are both on their way to Germany to have some more adventures! I hope they have a safe journey and a good time!

Today I came home from Scout camp! It was very fun! I stayed in a tent for a week and we did all sorts of exciting activities like canoeing, exploring caves, climbing up cliffs and hiking! It was very exciting! Unfortunately, we couldn't take any photos in case we got lost or couldn't catch up with the rest of the group, but I did really enjoy camping!

Today I visited Stonehenge! It was very impressive. The stones are huge - I can't imagine how they were put there 4000 years ago! I liked looking at the stones, and also learning about all the myths about why they're there. Some people think it's for looking at stars, and others think it's for telling what month it is. It could even just be built so someone could show how powerful they are!

Guess where I am - Scotland! How did that happen? (I think it was something to do with a very long car journey but I slept for most of the journey)
So today we went into Edinburgh for a bit of a look around. The train journey was quite fun - I saw lots of nice fields and hills and sheep!
While we were in Edinburgh, we went to the Camera Obscura which is really cool! You have to go into a dark room and through a set of mirrors and lenses they can project an image of exactly what's happening outside. They can move the mirrors, so we could see all around Edinburgh without even having to move!
We also went to see Edinburgh Castle, which is really cool
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Scotland this week!

Today, we went to a transport museum in Glasgow. It was really interesting! We saw lots of old cars, bikes, and other vehicles. They also had lots of old fashioned clothes, and we met some toys from the 1960s and 1970s. It was good fun looking around and learning what life was like in recent history!

Today Frances was going to visit some friends, so she said we could come on the train with us. We got to see a lot of the South of England on the way up, and we had a cup of tea and a roll! On the way home, it was dark so we couldn't see anything so instead we read a magazine about Doctor Who, a popular tv series. We also ate a chocolate lollipop! When we were about half an hour from home, the train got stuck and we had to wait 50 minutes for an engineer to come and fix the barrier so we could move! It was a bit scary, because it was so dark outside!

Today we went with Frances for a bike ride, because we've been watching the cycling on the paralympics and wanted to try it for ourselves! She apologised that we couldn't go as quickly as the people we were watching on the television, but that was fine for us!
After we had been cycling for a while, we started to feel a bit drowsy as it was so hot, so we stopped off for some water in the shade. While we were there we picked some blackerries which were very yummy!

Today we went into college with Frances! I was very excited, but I didn't like having to get up early and stand on the crowded bus. Fortunately, the journey wasn't too long and soon we were at the college where we went into a small room to listen to Frances practicing her flute.
We had music lessons all day, which was pretty cool! The first class was performance, where everyone was working on their confidence and assertiveness so we got to see them doing some pretty crazy things! The next class was community project, so everyone was practicing teaching each other!
We then had a bit of time for lunch, so we went to the college canteen. Frances had made us some yummy wraps, and a muffin, which we enjoyed eating while we chatted with her friends.
In the afternoon, we had listening where we heard some different Baroque pieces which I thought sounded really cool! We then had harmony, where we were learning to write like the Baroque composers we were listening to. It was really cool!
The college is quite big, with about 6000 students and hundreds of different courses. We didn't get to see very much of it, but we enjoyed being in the music department. The building's very cool, with a slanted roof for better acoustics and lots of little rooms for people to practice in. Also, everyone was friendly to us!

A package arrived today, which was very exciting! We knew it was Spikey Dragon, because he had his name written on the envelope, but we couldn't get it open without Frances so we had to wait until she got home in the evening.
It's so great to have another new friend here in Portsmouth!

Today, we made some yummy muffins! Frances had a chocolate bar, so we wanted to see if we could make it last a bit linger
I didn't want to get too messy, so I mainly helped getting the ingredients out and putting them back while the muffins were cooking.
When the muffins were done, we took them out of the oven really quickly so we could put a square of chocolate on each of them and watch it melt. It was pretty cool

Today, I said goodbye to my friend Kasimir Kashmir. He's going on to continue his adventures. I'm going to miss him - we had some good times together! Still, it'll be nice to hear about his new adventures, and I might even bump into him somewhere else!

It's starting to get cold and dark here, and so we decided to enjoy the last of the sunshine by going for a walk by the seaside. We enjoyed looking out over the sea, and playing in the stones.
We also had some yummy chips, with salt and vinegar. It was good to have something warm as it's so cold here!

It's nearly Christmas! Today we helped Frances decorate her tree. Because she goes away for Christmas, she doesn't have a real tree as it would make a lot of mess while she's gone. Instead, she has a special metal tree. This year, she decorated it with a music theme. Can you see me?

Today an exciting package arrived, and when we opened it we realised that it was Phog! It's so nice to have another toyvoyager come to stay here!
We enjoyed hearing about his adventures, and telling him about our own!
To celebrate his arrival, and a few other things, we ordered pizza. We also ordered nachos, barbeque chicken wings, and pudding and ice cream to keep the pizza company... it was very yummy!

Today it is pretty cold. So cold, in fact, that it's snowing! Our host couldn't believe it when she saw - it hasn't snowed like this in Portsmouth for 2 years.
We went out to play in the garden, which was covered in snow, making everything more fun! After a while, we got cold so we came in to sit by the radiator and warm up.
Although the schools were closed, our host had to go in for an exam. We decided to wait at home for her, because it is a long walk up the hill and the buses weren't running to keep us warm!

The snow is mostly gone already
In England, the temperature does not usually get very low, so when it snowed it was probably only around -1 degree centigrade. That means that the snow mostly melted, and then froze again as ice. Ice is not very fun to play on, so we stayed home and tried to help Frances with her music homework. Her keyboard has lots of buttons you can press to get all kinds of sounds - I enjoyed experimenting with these!

Today I learnt how to play Dungeons and Dragons! It's really good fun! It's like making up an adventure story, but every time you do something you have to roll some dice to see if it goes well, and one person is in charge of what happens. We all made up our own characters, and saved people from burning houses, learnt a spell to summon the dragon that had been doing it, and made friends with the dragon, asking if he would stop burning people.
Frances made us these little spicy biscuits to eat while we played. They were very yummy... I think Spikey Dragon liked the biscuits more than the game...

Yesterday I have come in Erfurt, however, was dog-tired from the trip and Has introduced me today to the other.
They are very nice everybody here.
And it is snowing, everything turns white here.

I finally arrived at Mantel today, which is a small town in Bavaria, Germany. When I climbed out of my envelope I was greeted by some really nice TVs, named Freya, HelgaHH, Zed Dog and Twix. I'm sure we will have a lot of fun together! ^_^
Woo, since it was such a hot day today I took my sunglasses with me (they are a little too big though
) and ate water ice, so yummy! ^__^

Isidore arrived back home in Germany. He had an amazing time in Japan with cocoaby who was a great host and sent some really sweet presents, too.
When he climbed out of his box we all greeted him
We thought it'll be a nice idea to cook something to celebrate, so we helped to cut carrots and zucchini ^_^
We also helped to whip some cream for our strawberries, hmm yummy :3

today I stared out of the car window when host-mum drove back home from work.
This weekend GustavHH will come to Mantel which means host-mum will go on a few nice trips with us and take some nice photos. I'm really looking forward

waaaaaaah it's so hot these days!!! Me, Sherlock and GustavHH decided to bathe outside in the sun!

today we went to see St. Moritz Church in Mantel. It's only a small building but really neat! If you are interested in it's history you can read about it -> here

On our way back home me and GustavHH came by some berries and saw this really funny road sign!
