Hello Mummy,
today morning I arrived at Paderborn, Germany. I was very warmly welcomed by many stuffed animals, especially by three other ToyVoyagers, named Konsta, Walt Duck and Störte. After a few hugs we sat together and talked about our TV-life. I think we'll have a lot of fun together!
I was also taken with Mademoiselle Poupoule, because in colour we go well together  ;)
In the evening Konsta and me went for a walk and Konsta showed me all his favourite places in Neuenbeken which is hostmum's homevillage and belongs to Paderborn. I was very happy to walk after sitting in the dark envelope for a few days.
We saw lots of pretty flowers, sat on a bench, looked at a nice sunset sitting on an old tree and at last we saw the full moon...very romantic
And now we'll go to sleep. Good night, Mum, and all the best,
yours Knirrie

Dear Mum,
last Sunday Konsta and me went to Paderborn city and visited "Libori", a big secular and worldly festival. What a fairground! Fantastic! And imagine, Mummy, we drove with a Ferris wheel! Wow!
Every year the Libori-festival ends with a big fireworks. Unfortunately the pictures aren't really good, but the fireworks was super!
And Konsta and me took a picture in front of a heart with the words "I love you"......
Perhaps I've fallen in love a little bit

Hi Mum,
imagine, today evening I completed one of my life missions: I ate a sausage! And the best was: it was a vegetarian sausage with no pork at all! Fantastic!!!
Konsta and me ate it together and the sausage became shorter and shorter and shorter and shorter and...oh

Hi Mum,
unfortunately hostmum had some problems with the internet, but here I am again!
On Sunday the 12th we had a very nice day: Konsta, hostmum, hostdad, the old dog ladies and me started with a great breakfast. And look, Mummy, what Konsta created for me: a butter heart
Then we explored the garden: apple trees, lots of flowers (some of them in pink!), tomatoes and so on...and I discovered a pink raspberry!
In the early afternoon we drove to Paderborn city by bike for playing miniature golf. It was fantastic to help hostmum and hostdad putting the little balls into the holes  ;)
And for cooling off: a big ice cream! Yes, it was a very nice day!
Best wishes,
yours Knirrie

Hi Mum,
yesterday a small parcel arrived. Störte, Walt Duck, Konsta and me were very courious about the contents, because we could here whispering in it.
Störte took heart and opened it with a knife and two little monkeys came to light!
After welcoming them, Joesy and 3*Euro showed us all the little things they've collected on their journeys so far, wow!
And then we sat together and talked about our TV-experiences for hours and hours...
I'm sure we'll have a nice time together!

Hello Mum,
yesterday we had to say good-bye to Störte who started to his next journey, a secret mission!
And in the evening we went to hostmum's parents for watching football on TV. After fortifying ourselves with pizza and ice cream the match began: Dortmund against Bremen. Dortmund is hostmum's and her mother's native town, so we all shouted for Dortmund and Dortmund won!
Best wishes, yours Knirrie

And now we had to say goodbye to Walt Duck who started to his new host.
In the evening Konsta, Joesy, 3*Euro and me went to an open-air theatre, watching "The murderer of women"...it was very thrilling and I was thankful having Konsta next to me...

Hi Mum,
yesterday it was hostmum's birthday. In the early morning Konsta, Joesy, 3*Euro and me surprised her with a nice birthday song and I think she was very delighted at our quartet  ;)
Unfortunately she had to go to work, but in the afternoon we had a birthday teatime in the garden of hostmum's parents. We were allowed to eat as much cake as we could, wow!
And in the evening we had a party at home with chocolate for the TVs, candlelight and a table fireworks: you had to light a fuse, then a firefountain lighted eight candles and the melody "happy birthday" rang out...very special  :p
Bye, yours Knirrie

Hi Mum,
yesterday we drove to Paderborn city by bus. First Konsta showed us the cathedral and the "window of the three hares", a part of the cathedral and landmark of Paderborn: three hares and only three ears , but every hare has got two ears!
Then we went to hostmum's favourite café for drinking coffee and tea with some of her friends on the occcasion of her birthday. We got to know Willibald the turtle who was given to hostmum as a present. Welcome, Willibald!

Hi mum,
today morning Joesy and me went to a hairdressing salon. Next week we'll go on holiday, so it was VERY important to get a haircut. The boys stayed at home...typically male...
After washing our hair and cutting with the aid of hair slides we had to sit under a gigantic hairdryer.
Our new hairstyle is fantastic, isn't it?

Hi mummy,
today afternoon we went on a bike ride to Altenbeken, that is to say Konsta, 3*Euro[tv] and me drove by bike and Joesy[tv] drove by tractor!
On the way there we watched the Beke river and the "little viaduct" and took a rest at the bank of Beke river (a very small river, I think...) Then we reached Altenbeken with it's landmark, the "Big viaduct". Though Altenbeken is a small town it is also a junction of German Railways. So in the middle of the town there is standing a very old steam engine. Wow!
On the way back home we took a rest again, very comfortable

Hi mum,
today morning Konsta, Joesy, 3*Euro, Mary, hostmum, hostdad, the dogs and me started our holiday trip to Friedrichskoog, North Sea.
Mary the sheep came with us, because she was born in Friedrichskoog and wants to be our tourist guide.
We drove by car...and suddenly somebody switched off the light! Mary calmed us down explaing that we were driving through the long tunnel underneath the river Elbe.
Arriving in Friedrichskoog we first went to the dyke that protects the dry land against the sea. Climbing up the dyke we saw a nice sunset.
I'm looking forward to our adventures, mummy! Best wishes, yours Knirrie

Hi mum,
in the morning we went to a baker's shop by bike for buying some rolls. Joesy had taken her tractor with her on holiday, so she could drove on the way back.
It was a sunny day, so we had a breakfast outside.
Later we had a walk (Joesy of course drove by tractor) along the coast to the lighthouse of Friedrichskoog. Suddenly Joesy had an accident! Luckily Mary helped us pulling the tractor out of the hole!
Near the lighthouse we explored the environment, especially the gaps between the stones, and suddenly a gigantic crab stood in front of us  :o, but luckily it was a very peaceable crab.
All the best, yours Knirrie

Hi mummy,
today we drove to Meldorf, a little town near Friedrichskoog with a cathedral and nice street cafés.
First we went into a bookshop (the boys saw a poster in front of it and studied enthusiastically the "chests of the coast"...typically male...) and while hostmum and hostdad were searching for books and calendars, Konsta, Joesy, 3*Euro and me rummaged around a bit...and imagine, suddenly we heard somebody calling! Looking around we discovered a little elk who said his name was Soeren and he would be bored and wanted to experience adventures. We all had the same idea: "Come with us", we said, "and become a ToyVoyager!"
And so he did! We four kept an eye on the entrance and Soeren came out carefully. When hostmum found us outside the bookshop and saw we suddenly were five, she went back and bought Soeren, because it was love at first sight!
In honour of the occasion we went into hostmum's favourite café...yummy!
I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun together with Soeren!
Best wishes, yours Knirrie

Today we got to know the "Trischendamm", a dam built of stones that goes above two kilometres into the Sea. You can walk on it with water all around. Joesy wanted to drove by tractor, but after a few metres it became very very windy so she couldn't drive on and hostmum had to hold us in her hands so that we didn't fly away. Hostmum said that our mums wouldn't be amused if they had to search us at the coast of England or somewhere else...
Back at the start we played sea voyage on a little ship standing there for children. The ship was called "Hoppe Tosse" like the ship in the book "Pippi Langstrumpf".

Then we visited the lock and a very big ship leaving it. Wow!

Today we went to the Trischendamm again, it was low tide. Konsta, Joesy and 3*Euro were totally out of their mind, because they thought somebody had stolen the water! I calmed them down by telling them about the tides. And I said low tide is the best time for searching for shells. So we did and look, what we found:

Dear mum,
today evening Konsta and me have started to bake a buckwheat bread. First we collected the ingredients and then we've got going: weighing out the buckwheat - adding amaranth - adding sesam - adding salt - measuring mineral water and filling it into the bowl - and at last mixing all these things...heavy labour! And now the dough has to 'rest' until tomorrow...very good idea! Good night, dough, see you tomorrow  ;)

And ready!!!

Hi mum,
a few days ago Konsta, Lille and me created an Advent calendar for hostdad: we packed 24 surprises into 24 small parcels, numbered them and then we climbed up the Advent branch and fixed the parcels. From December 1st until December 24th hostdad can open one of it every morning!
And we decorated the Advent wreath or rather hostmum's Advent plate with four candles, fir trigs, nuts, cinnamon and so on. Now we can light one more candle every Sunday...and then it's Christmas!
I wish you a nice Advent, mummy, with many yummy cakes,

The evening before December 6th Konsta, Lille and me put up a big boot. We put it outside hostmum's flat and wanted to wait and look what would happen, but hostmum said if we didn't come in, shut the door and go to bed St Nicholas wouldn't come. So we did...
The next morning we raced to the boot and IT WAS FILLED! Wow!

Merry Christmas, mummy!
On Christmas Eve we all went to hostdad's daughter. After a yummy dinner the giving out of Christmas presents began: we sat next to the Christmas tree and unwrapped presents. So we got to know Elvis, the singing little Christmas tree, a very nice guy.
And we played some games, hostparents gave as a present to each other: "nine men's morris" and "4 will win". Lille and Yuma against Konsta and me.
After watching "The Lion King 2" on TV (another life mission completed  :D) we went into church (unfortunately I have no photo from it).
Yesterday we drove to hostmum's parents. We sang some Christmas songs and performed two songs by piano and trumpet! After that we needed a refreshment: some chocolat! And we got to know a very nice giraffe who lives there on the piano.

Happy new year, mummy!
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve party. First we watched TV: "Dinner for one", this old and very funny sketch is sent every last day of the year on many TV channels. Oh, what a joke!
Then we had a very yummy dinner: Raclette. Mmmmhh!
After that hostparents and their friends made strong things, in German it is called "Bleigießen": In former times some lead was melted, now you use tin. They melted the tin and poured it into cold water. A curious thing came into being and everybody guessed what it showed (an anchor, for example) and looked up in a book what it means to the future...I have to admit me and my friends couldn't identify anything... :p
At midnight we all went out and watched many fantastic fireworks all around. Lille, Yuma, Konsta and me had a very big sparkler together and each of us a little one.
Back in the house a very old little bear gave us a lucky four-leaf clover. And of course we drank sparkling wine and sat together up to the morning...
All the best, yours Knirrie

hostmum had to go to hospital for one week and Lille went with her. So Yuma, Konsta and me stayed at home and helped hostdad running the household: we cooked, whashed up and made some food for the old dog ladies. And of course we had enough time to amuse ourselves: playing the piano, making sudoku, discussing about the television program, watching TV and dancing with Ulf, the disco-elk.
So we weren't bored, but nevertheless we were glad when hostmum and Lille came back home...

The weather was really nice...I believe springtime is near. We discovered many things above all many stones, it is a chalky soil in and round Neuenbeken. The strangest thing we discovered was a ball from a Christmas tree in the middle of a wood  :p
