Today I'm at my daddy's house, and slowly but surely I'm getting a little nervous about my first big journey! It is getting started in 16 days!!! My parents are going to take me to Thailand with them, so I've properly studied the tourist guide.
And I still hope to find some sunglasses in my size...

Oh my god! In the last couple of days I experienced so many new things. My parents took me to Thailand on holiday! First we went to Bangkok. Such a big city for a small horse like me. Of course we visited the Grand Palace. It was amazing! I met a huge lying Buddha and he told me that he has never met such a mini-horse like me before.
Then I tried to ride a big bird-like godess, but she was not amused - so she kicked me off!
After this shocking moment, I desperately needed a cocktail at our rooftop poolbar :)!
See you in Koh Samui!

Jihaaaaa, we're in Koh Samui at last!
What a beautiful island! There is only one problem, I have such a bad stomach ache... Thank God my mummy has some medicine for me!
For the first time of my life I saw the ocean - it was so amazing! But our pool villa wasn't too bad either :)!
After a nice cocktail-night I had a little swim with a couple of koi carps - I think they really loved me to bits and pieces *scary*!

Wooooow, now we're in Koh Phangan, the backpacker's paradise - although I always travel with my trolley of course, never with a backpack :)!
We're in such a nice hotel, where I can meet towel animals each day in our room! They are so nice and let me take a ride on them whenever I want!
I also met a white rabbit, but I was a little scared because it was a very grumpy contemporary!
One evening I found a little "ghost house" - this is where Thai Spirits live in! If it hadn't been so spooky, I would have taken it home to live in it in Germany!
Then there was my big night: The Blackmoon Party! It was unbelievable! So many people, so many colors, so many drinks - it was the worst hangover I've ever had...

Hello Germany, I am back - but not for very long...
Now I'm at my daddy's house in Saarbrücken and enjoy the view on the beautiful Johanniskirche.
However I have to say goodbye now and pack my bags again: my uncle Schille and aunt Sabrina are going to take me to the Big Apple - so see you there :)!

And i can't believe it, i directly met another superhero in New York...Ironmaaaaan :)....he's soooo strong, but my cape is much nicer than his armature ;)
We are friends now and he told me i will have a lot of more adventures in BIG APPLE...I'm so excited :)
I keep you informed

Hey buddies,

I had an amazing last weekend! Aunt Kathi and uncle Berti took me to Vienna - my very first time in Austria! I've often heard rumors about Austria's excellent cuisine, so of course I had to check that out. It was delicious, and both the candlelight dinner and the champagne completed this awesome experience!
The next day I tried something more "down-to-earth" - genuine "Wiener Würstl" - the best sausages I've ever tasted!!
Of course I also did a bit of sightseeing: the famous Stephansdom was one of my favorite places!
Furthermore I went on a big shopping tour, because I was looking for a new cape. Unfortunately I was not very successful with that, but Philipp Plein promised he will have designed one for me until next time :)!
As Kathi thought I was the cutest and most handsome little horse she has ever seen, she persuaded me to take part in Austria's Next Topmodel! I think I did pretty well at the fotoshooting…

XOXO,

Hello friends,

I'm back from Vienna and I am relaxing in daddy's horsecastle in Saarbrücken right now. I have slept veeery well and enjoyed TV and Internet this morning. There I discovered something veeeery special, not as special as me, but also special ;) ...THE GANGNAM STYLE :D

It's a funny guy (looking like Mr. Chao in Hangover) doing a western horse dance ;)! I will now practise a lot to apply for a dancejob in his next video.

See you soon on the world's big stages ;)

Hello friends,

I'm soooo nervous. Papa Phil and Mama Vani have a special surprise for me. I will get the possibility to fullfil one of my life missions this week... juhuuu... which one I will tell you in the next travellog entry.

But before I can do that, I'll have to travel as fast as possible from Saarbrücken to Balingen in order to meet a very good friend of mine and travel with him to England :) ! This is the reason why my parents decided to send me via express letter to Holgi!

Now I hope I won't get lost and will arrive safely at Holgi's house in Balingen!

So see you again in a couple of days ;)...

Yours, Hotte

P.S.: I have decided to give you a very, very small piece of information concerning my life mission on the three lions island ;)

Hello friends,

here I am now. My big dream has come true. I'm inside a real football stadium! Moreover in a stadium with such a great tradition - Anfield Road! What an exciting place for a little horse like me...
And in the end, there was the ultimate highlight: I was admitted into the player cabin and even sit at Steven Gerrard's place :)! I will never ever wash my super hero cape again ;).
Later that day the Anfield Road culture was on my schedule. The Beatles Museum - a great place! Weeee all live in the yellow submarine :D!!

Here all the fantastic pictures!

Friends, the ground hopping continues. Today one of Premier League's classic matches is taking place: Manchester United vs. Arsenal London at Old Trafford ... Goooo Red Devils, goooo Gunners. I' m sooo nervous, I don't know who to cheer on  :D. But I think Gunners should win because of our German guys Poldi and Merte :).

All in all, I had such great days in England. I appreciate it so much that I could complete my third life mission in football stadiums with such a great tradition. Big thanks to uncle Holgi for taking me on this great trip.

See you sooooon

Hi buddies,

I must proclaim that my days off are over! The serious side of life has begun and caught me in a spooky way!
My mummy told me to go to school today! She said it is important to know something about life - or to be a bit more precise - about MY life as a horse!
So this is what happened to me: First she promised me to complete one of my life missions, but actually it was equal to the worst horror movie ever!!! I thought I would meet a REAL horse - yes of course, it was REAL, but it was DEAD also  I hope this was none of my ancestry...
But then I also learned something about my anatomy, about wild horses and I was even allowed to try on a real horseshoe - it didn't fit though!

It was a very eventful day, both good and bad things happened, and now I'm glad to say goodnight!

Good morning starshine, the earth says hello!

This morning I had to get up very early, as I wanted to educate myself a little better and learn how life on earth has been evolved from bacteria to little horses like me. So I went to a museum where there were many fossils of animals that passed away a very long time ago.

I think sooner or later I will be the most clever horse on earth! By the way, in this context I remember the famous conversation of "Pinky and the Brain":
Pinky: "Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"
The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world!"

Maybe their era is over, and mine will come ;)...

Hey buddies,

I still have to tell you some stories about my winter holidays at the best ski resort there is: Ischgl in Austria. Mum and dad go there each year to celebrate New Year’s Eve. This year it was my first time there, and I got involved in amazing parties – it’s called Après Ski. They’re playing funny music there and people go absolutely crazy – so  did I  ;)! I drank a lot of cocktails, enjoyed the beautiful white snow and went partying at several Après Ski Bars.

I’m really looking forward to going there next year once again…!

juhuuu I spent my Easter holidays with my parents and "grandparents" in Telfes in Austria to enjoy the last snowy days before spring will come.

We had great days at a ski resort called "Schlick 2000" at the wonderful Stubaital, of course with Après Ski too ;)...!

Moreover I had the possibility to meet other wonderful animal friends :) - a donkey family and 2 funny lama friends. We had a lot of fun.

I also visited Innsbruck, a very nice city which is famous for its ski jumping competitions - mainly the Four Hills Tournament.

Have a look at my nice pictures :)!

In May I went on a five day trip to Düsseldorf and Amsterdam with my auntie Nessie. After a four hour drive we arrived at our hotel in Düsseldorf. The staff was very friendly and I got a large bed and gummy bears.

After a little break we went to the Rheinufer. The weather was excellent and we had an ice cream. We had a great view over the rhine and I got a nice tan in the sun.

Back in the hotel we got ready for the "Längste Theke der Welt" what means numerous bars, drinks and lots of fun. The beer in Düsseldorf is called "Alt" and it tastes really good... I had so much fun in the bars and went back to the hotel at around 5:30 in the morning. You know, partying is one of my favourite things to do, so I enjoyed it very much.

Unfortunately in Amsterdam it was really cold and we had to wear a scarf and gloves. Nevertheless we enjoyed the city. I visited Anne Frank Haus and learned a lot about her life.

At the Amsterdam Cheese Museum I was allowed to ride a cow. It was very funny there. I ate lots of cheese. They have flavours, I've never heard of before.

My auntie sat me on one of the many canals. She was very careful that I didn't fall down!

I went to Rembrandt Plein where he is shown in different sculptures. I sat on his shoulders and had a good view.

In the evening we went to different bars, had drinks and learned to know the Dutch nightlife. There were many people bringing their instruments and making music. Some of them were very talented and I loved the music.
My legs hurt but I was ready for another day in Amsterdam.

The last day before we went back to Germany was very relaxing.
It was the only sunny day in Amsterdam and we went to Museumplein first. There were coloured sculptures that I found very interesting. We took nice pictures in the letters of A-M-S-T-E-R-D-A-M. In the background of the pictures you can see the beautiful Royal Palace. The Concert Cebouw is a very famous building in Amsterdam. Often there are very popular musicians.

Afterwards we went to Albert Cuyp Market where you can buy almost everything. Near Albert Cuyp Market we went on a boat and learned more about the beautiful city. The guide told us about history, architecture and famous people born in Amsterdam. I liked the cruise because it was very relaxing and I needn't walk.

That evening we went to the darker parts of Amsterdam to see the famous red light district. It was very crowded and so we went on to an italian restaurant to have dinner.

The next day we went home to Germany. I had an adventurous time and I can't wait to tell mummy and daddy what I experienced on my trip to Düsseldorf and Amsterdam.

It was first round in German Cup tournament 2013/2014, Saarbrücken (3rd league) vs Bremen (1st league). 15000 soccer fans and a litte horse ;). The atmosphere was absolutly unbelievable, we enjoyed it so much. But moreover we were VIPs and I could see all the pro players after the match and eat and drink as much as i can and want. All in all a great day for me, good weather, a great match and being a little VIP horse. Fantastic...thank you Daddyyyyyyy :) Greets Hotte

big business is the today´s motto :). My daddy took me to his office and i could spend all the day like a real little manager horse. Sooo exciting, after the arrival in daddy`s working bag  i started the day like a real hard worker...with coffee ;) :D, then i was allowed to use all the exciting things in the office, the cell phone, the copier, the phone, the notebook....i also wrote my first Email to Mummy :).
I enjoyed the morning so much, but at 12 i was very hungry and i had to remind my hard working daddy of going to lunch with me. Now, I'm sooo tired cause of this hard day and I now have to relax with my sister Hanne at mummy and daddy`s nice flat:)

Hola Amigos!
Finally I’m on vacation! The last weeks of everyday-life were very hard, so now I’m pretty glad to enjoy the sun and the wonderful beach! This year my parents decided to go to Cuba – olé olé! Of course my little sister Hanne and I were allowed to go with them! The flight was good but far too long! I didn’t expect the Carribbean so wonderful, but now I’m just amazed by the blue water of the sea and the hot sun! Drinking cocktails is the only way to survive! Our first cultural stop was the Buena Vista Social Club! Then we checked out Varadero and Al Capone’s villa! Of course we didn’t go by a normal vehicle, we decided to take a pink Cadillac! After that we reeeaaally had to relax in a park with a yummie Mojito ;-)!
These are my first pictures!

Heyhey from Varadero again!
This is one of our last days here in Cuba! But it is a perfect day for the beach :-)! As you can see it is very similar to Cayo Blanco – it is absolutely wonderful! And we only have to walk a few steps from our hotel room to the beach – I’m thinking about staying here forever :-D! However I miss German food!!! The Cubans don’t know how to use spicery…! At least they know how to make delicious cocktails ;-)…!

So this will be my very last update from Cuba! Tomorrow we will fly back home to Germany – what a pity! For saying farewell we had a wonderful glass of wine and enjoyed a last perfect day at the beach! Even our chambermaid bid farewell today and created another towel greeting!
So now our bags are packed and we’re waiting for a safe flight home and another big adventure which is waiting there for me ;-)…!

In the middle of the city is a very old building. It is very high and you have a beautiful view over the city, the harbour and the sea. I really enjoyed it although it was very, very hot. Today I lived the life of the rich and famous, and I want to become a part of it!
Party evening!
We drove to the Hollywood Studios - and we did it in a white Hummer limousine. It was amazing! It had about 100 wheels that were 100 metres high. Incredible! And in the inside there was a big party room - of course we drank a lot of Jack Daniel's! I was a little drunk I guess! But that's real VIP-life! I will have to get used to it...

Another thing we did this evening was to stroll up the WALK OF FAME! One day there will also be a star named HOTTE HÜ! I am sure about this!

Heeellloooo friiiiends

yihaaa, back in Germany. My USA trip was sooo amazing but also very very exhausting for a little horse like me. Also a super hero horse with a red cape needs a break ;) ...so, I asked mummy and daddy to go to a wellness weekend with me to relax a little bit :). We decided to book two wellness relax days in Hotel Bel Vital in Waldachtal, in the Black Forest.

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/325096/img0920N4KC6.jpg

Such a nice wellness area with many different saunas :)...it was soooo hot, but after the sauna,I completly relaxed in the rest area with my own lounger :). Moreover i was allowed to do my own sauna infusion and daddy borrowed me his bath robe :)...great!!!

Cremant, hot water and a bubbling hot whirlpool. I felt like the king of Black Forest and celebrated this special moment with Cleopatra :D :) ;)
To summarize: a memorable weekend :) ..thanks to mummy and daddy :*

Hello my friends,

today I had a great day, I visited the Mercedes-Benz-Museum in Stuttgart! The museum tells the history of the automobile and informs about the beginnings of one of the most famous and popular auto brands in the world.

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/325266/img1015VGM10.jpg

These were the very first cars that were produced – one by Carl Benz, the other one by Gottlieb Daimler.

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/325249/img0988L2CPI.jpg

After my Harley Davidson Wild West Tour I’m really interested in motorcycling – so this exhibit was very special to me: It is the first motorcycle that was ever built. People who rode it however, got quite a warm backside as the motor was located right under the saddle… Not good for a boy horse like me, so I didn’t try it :-)!

This one was very important for Germany... THE FIRST BEER WAGON!

And here you can see the very first car that was really called a "Mercedes". It's the car in the spotlight!

And many other very beautiful old cars like these ones...

The museum shows also Mercedes-vehicles which were typical of certain countries or cities. This is one of the popular red buses of London – of course a special and historic one!

Furthermore the Mercedes race cars play an important role in the exhibition. This is a nice, old and of course silver race car – one of the “Silver Arrows” from the year 1955! One of the pictures is taken with my new TV exchange sister Prajna!

This car is called a "white elephant" because of its roaring sound.

And this is me with one of the famous Mercedes SLS with gullwing doors, my absolutely favorite car!!! When I’m grown up, I’ll have one on my own :-)! Can you find me in the picture ;-)?

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/325260/img1005DRUVP.jpg

And this is the team bus of the German National Soccer Team, who won the world championship in 1974! Maybe there will be another one next year ;-)…!

FORMULA 1 – I love it! One day I would like to visit a Formula 1 event!!!

Hi friends,

as I had a lot of travelling the last couple of months, my mommy thought that it is time for me to have a bath. Okay, she was right as always, I really looked a bit scrubby...

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326543/img0902YJRSY.jpg

And I didn't feel really clean! Even my little brother Hansi remarked that I had better times in terms of smelling, he only called me STINKY! Not very nice! But I'm not a sorehead, I know he was right! Actually we had to laugh really hard about it :-D!

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326544/img0903YPHBD.jpg

So we let the fun begin! My mommy prepared a nice bath for me, with warm water and good smelling foam. I had a lot of fun in my little bathtub :-)!

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326531/img09043GMA7.jpg

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326533/img0906GUVAN.jpg

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326532/img09051RV5L.jpg

After splashing around and having a lot of fun in the water, I had to get dry again! So my mom took a towel and made my dry. It wasn't enough though, so I had to dry on the heating.

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326534/img0908QTMYG.jpg

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326535/img09108ER62.jpg

http://www.bilderload.com/bild/326536/img0911UG5S8.jpg

Eventually I was dry again and am now able to enjoy my freshly washed horse coat. I'm softer than ever, as my mommy thought she still had to groom my coat! Now Hansi and I are snuggling up to each other :-)!

Bye for now!

Hello friends,

juhuuu, I was allowed to accompany daddy and his friends to a 30th birthday party in Budapest. Soooo exciting, a three-day long party :) and I hope to get a lot of yummy drinks. We started from Saarbrücken by car on Friday to the airport at Basel in order to fly to Budapest :). I have a lot of air miles by now, but I still become a little nervous when arriving at the airport...
OOOHHH this is our last call, we have to take off :D !!

Juhuuu...!!! Finally we arrived in Budapest and went to our apartment for the next 3 days. Such a nice apartment and a big bed only for meee...! I enjoy the trip :-)... Now we are having a short "pre-party chill out" first and then let's party :-)!

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/131112/2wmn4pnk.jpg

In the evening, we had a lot of yummy drinks and I was allowed to be a full member of the group.

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/131112/sji5y6wh.jpg

Puuuh, in the morning, after a long and great party night, all my buddies had a huge hangover! So I woke all the guys up and then was ready for the next day and the last night in Budapest.
Thanks to the great German-Swiss party community! Me, the little horse, felt as a full member of the group and enjoyed the weekend sooo much. I'm ready for next party weekend trip ;-)!

Hellooo my friends!

It's the first Sunday in Advent today! So it's time to get prepared for this wonderful time!
We started decorating and bought an Advent wreath. My brother Hansi and I were really excited about lighting the first candle!

http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/140106/wd4knml2.jpg

And then it was sooo wonderful!

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/140106/ze4qtpqo.jpg

Then we got all the other things to decorate our home: a pink sparkling stag and of course an elk (his name is Oscar)! You can even illuminate Oscar, he's a real Christmas elk  ;)!

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140106/dvm2q6mb.jpg

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/140106/ywysazwe.jpg

And then my brother Hansi and I relaxed a little with daddy in front of the TV. It's sooo wonderful to be lazy :D!

See you soon!

Hello from Saarbrücken!

My brother Hansi and I felt like drinking some hot spiced wine and enjoying Christmas atmosphere, so we decided to go to the Christmas market!
I smelled so wonderful there: cinnamon, waffles, hot spiced wine and tea!
On the market place there was a big Christmas tree, many decorations and lights!

http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/140106/p894csw7.jpg

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140106/5xzgrncn.jpg

There were also some stalls where you could buy everything you could imagine!
But I just wanted one thing: delicious hot spiced wine!

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140106/slhanokq.jpg

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140106/ymomljrh.jpg

Now I'm ready for Christmas, as I bought all my Christmas presents today ;)!

WOOOOW, mommy and daddy let me come to a Christmas party with them! It's a theme party, and theme is JAMES BOND!! Perfect! Therefore I had to buy a bow tie! I think it fits me perfectly ;)!
We started the party with one or two glasses of champagne...

http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/140106/tuea5gil.jpg

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/140106/ukyd9nem.jpg

After a long evening of convivial drinking mommy and I had to drive back to Balingen... I was very thankful and happy that I didn't have to drive, as my headache was sooo bad... I leaned back and enjoyed looking out of the window ;)!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Today is the day and we finally decorate our wonderful Christmas tree!
We have silver Christmas balls and silver tinsel and lots of other decorations to make our home more festive!

This is our Advent wreath - we made it ourselves - it looks so nice, doesn't it???

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/140107/s62s7uno.jpg

Our Christmas tree is prepared now, I'm really proud of it  :)!
I loooove the silver Christmas balls, they are sparkling in the lights of the candles!

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140107/iuz37jfe.jpg

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140107/deze9t2k.jpg

This is our Advent-roundabout. I love sitting on top of it and turn around!

http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/140107/86uprfem.jpg

Now there are some decorations left - so I fixed it onto the wall!

Now I'm looking forward to getting my presents :-)!

Have a nice Christmas Eve!

WOOOOW, we had such a great start into 2014! We are here in Ischgl for our ski holidays! It's so amazing here!
Ischgl is one of the biggest and best resorts in the Austrian Alps, but it's also very close to the Swiss border! So I visited 2 countries at once  ;)!

I loooved it again and was a full member of the crazy crowd singing the songs out loud B)!!! Of course I also drank some alcohol - no Après Ski Party without hot spiced wine or beer  ;)!

We were sooo lucky with the weather, we had bright sunshine and the snow conditions were absolutely perfect! I was snowboarding down the mountains as if I had never done anything else  B)!

Finally our journey starts! I can't wait for my next adventure!

So now Suse and I are finally on our flight to Capetown. And yes, we allowed ourselves another glass of wine - it's a far way to go, you know ;-)!

And once more I was really amazed by our plane - it's unbelievable that such a big iron thing is able to fly...!!! So I looked out of the window all the time and enjoyed the flight! Time went by very fast and in about 15 hours we were finally there...

Here are my flight pictures :-)!

Hello soccer and Hü friends :)!!
Unbelievable, another little horse dream comes true. I was allowed to visit a real match of the German Bundesliga. Sooo great. I love soccer so much. Today I visited the match of Hamburger Sport Verein (HSV) and the last years Championsleague finalist Borussia Dortmund at Hamburg Imtech Arena. This arena, the former "Volksparkstadion", has 57274 seats for all the fans (and for a little horse ;)...). I had a great seat near to the corner flagpost and uncle Schille gave me real northern Holsten Beer  :) - a little bit dry but all in all ok ;). The game was very fast and exciting with the final result  3-0 for HSV and the goal of the year by Hakan Calhanoglu. It was a big shock for Borussia Dortmund, because they planned with a victory and 3 points. I was also a little bit disappointed, because Borussia Dortmund was my favorite team and I am a big fan of Marco Reus and Robert Lewandowsky :). After the match we went to a soccer pub to celebrate with all the fans of both teams and let this wonderful day gently fade away with one or another delicious glass of beer.

All in all it was an absolutly unforgettable day and special thanks to aunt Suse and uncle Schille :)

Bye and see you soon!

Hotte :)

Home Sweet Home!

Hi friends,

I can tell you that I'm back home safe and sound! I had so many great adventures in the last couple of weeks, now I'm pretty tired and glad that everything went well and that I can sleep in my own little horse bed :-)!

As a special gift from Suse I brought a special-Hotte-postcard - my name and even my silhouette is on it! Suse designed it just for me :-)!

When I arrived mum told me that I was a little scruffy and scrubby and that I absolutely needed another bath :-D! I loooove warm water and bathing and I loooove the nice scent of bathing gel. I had great fun in my bathtub, it was so relaxing! Now I'm a well-smelling little boy-horse again :-)!

When I was dry again and groomed, I got to know another member of the Hü-family: his name is Lucky and he's an adopted child (he's a donkey...), but he's such a lovely guy and we immediately got friends!

Now I need to go to bed and sleep for the next days, I don't think you can be more tired than I am right now...

So long! Hotte

Hey friends,

today the weather was perfectly good, so I had to go outside and enjoy the smell of the approaching spring.
We decided to go for a walk into the forest and watch out for the first flowers - we were pretty successful ;-)!
I also looked into a birdhouse, but there was nobody at home... yet! I will check this out again in a couple of weeks :-)!

This week I will go on another trip to a place, where I would never have expected to travel to... I'm very curious about it! So stay tuned ;-)!

See you soon!

Hi friends,

I want to tell you about my trip to Uzbekistan. I was on tour with my aunt Gerda again. I met lovely people and I got to know a very different culture. We went to a great market and enjoyed Uzbek cuisine.
We travelled along the Silk Road and visited various cities: Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
We had a very nice guide and he really liked me, so he showed me around a lot :)!

When we travelled to Samarkand, I was wondering what historic events took place here! Have you ever heard of "Tamerlane"? Me neither, so I had to google him first :D! So this is what I found about him:

"Tamerlane (or Amir Temur) was a Turko-Mongol ruler of Barlas lineage (9 April 1336 – 18 February 1405). He conquered West, South and Central Asia and founded the Timurid dynasty. His armies were feared throughout Asia, Africa, and Europe. Scholars estimate that his military campaigns caused the deaths of 17 million people, amounting to about 5% of the world population, leading to a predominantly barbaric legacy."

Aha, so I visited the mausoleum of a big Asian conqueror - what an amazing and impressive place! The place is called "The Gūr-e Amīr". It occupies also an important place in the history of Turkic-Persian Architecture as the precursor and model for later great Mughal architecture tombs, including Humayun's Tomb in Delhi and the Taj Mahal in Agra, built by Timur's Persianised descendants, the ruling Mughal dynasty of North India.

What a great trip! I want to see moooore! But my next journey is already waiting in the wings ;)!

See you very soon!

Home sweet home!

It's always good to be back home safe and sound. The first thing I had to do was to go outside and enjoy the blooming nature. I love the scent of the flowers and the air! And I also missed my big dog-friend Aris! He's one of my best buddies!
So I enjoyed a lovely day in the garden and to play around with Aris!

I don't have a lot of time to enjoy European spring, however, as I'm almost on my way to my next big adventure! Aunt Nessie and her TV Hilde take me on their trip to DUBAI! I'm sooo excited!

See you in the desert ;)!

Hello my friends!

Last week I was allowed to travel to Dubai. My auntie Nessie and my cousin Hilde Hü wanted me to come with them. It was difficult for me to get my stuff packed, because Germany was still very cold and in Dubai it was said to be about 35 degrees.

http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/140503/s2pluxwx.jpg

On Tuesday at around 9 o'clock we left Burladingen and went to Stuttgart Airport. Our flight was at 2 o’clock so we had enough time to check in and get ready for the long flight. We had a stop in Istanbul for 3 hours. After that we flew to Dubai for four more hours. At 2:30 at night we landed at Dubai Airport and took a taxi to our 4-stars-hotel Majestic Tower Dubai.

We were very happy to go to bed after the long flight. We enjoyed the first night in our very nice hotel in a comfortable bed.

Our first day in Dubai we visited the Gold Souks in Deira, the older part of Dubai. It was very hot and busy. After a short stop in our hotel, we went to Burj Khalifa, the highest tower of the world. We went there by metro. The way from the metro station to the tower was very long and we almost came late for our tour.

http://s1.directupload.net/images/user/140503/mdts2v7x.jpg

After we got our tickets, we had to wait in line for a while. We took the time to take some pictures.

We went up to the 124th floor. It is about 452 metres high. Although Burj Khalifa is the highest tower in the world (828 metres), you can get higher on a tower in Shanghai. Nevertheless we had a fantastic view. We went up in daylight, enjoyed the sunset and went back down at night.

After we came down we went out of the Mall to see the backyard. There was a big lake with small boats on it and you had a great view on Burj Khalifa as well as on other skyscrapers. There were a lot of artists, restaurants and good music.

Back in the Dubai Mall we went to the ice rink. It was impressing, especially because of the hockey match that was going on.

The next day was the highlight of our Dubai trip. We went to the famous Burj al Arab 6-stars-hotel for brunch. At first we had the chance to take a few pictures in the lobby before we went up to the 27th floor. We had a great view from up there and got a table next to the windows. The food was amazing and they even prepared chocolate easter eggs for us.

Our beach day was on Saturday. We took the private hotel shuttle at around 9 o’clock. We needed an umbrella because it was so hot. We stayed for five hours until the shuttle came to pick us up.

On Easter Sunday we also spent at the pool because the tour bus arrived at 3:30 to pick us up for the Desert Safari Tour. We went to the desert with a jeep. It included Dune Bashing what was great fun, Sand Skiing, Quad Bike and Camel Riding. Also a great barbecue was included with nice Arabian food. But before we had dinner, we took some nice pictures on a hill. It was at sunset and we enjoyed the nice atmosphere. A belly dancer and another artist showed their skills. After dinner we went back to the hotel.

On our last day we went to the Aquaventure Water Park on the Palm. It is part of the famous Atlantis Hotel. We took the Monorail that is especially built to get to the hotel. When we arrived, we checked out the area. It was huge, a lot of slides, pools and a wonderful beach. One slide was very steep but it was great fun. There is also a big aquarium inside.

As you can see, we enjoyed our holiday, although we had a rough program. But anyway we had a great time, enjoyed the city and nevertheless we had some hours to relax. I was a bit sad to fly home but I was also very happy to see mommy and daddy again.

Hello my friends!

juhhuhhhhhhh today we did something veeery special! We went on a tour with alpacas! Daddy loves these animals, so we went to a farm where there are two of them! And we were allowed to put a leash on them and take them for a walk.
It was soooo wonderful. Their names were Marf and Janosch and they were both sooo funny! Have you ever heard what kind of strange sounds they make? We almost died of laughter!!!

It was such a great day with a lot of fun, sunshine and laughter!

Yiiihaaa friends!!

Daddy allowed me to travel with him and 4 friends to uncle Sandro's bachelor party to Barcelona. A great city!! From the airport we went to Placa de Catalunya, doing a little bit of sightseeing :)... In order to warm up for the party evening we chilled on the biiig roof-deck of our apartment just opposite the famous Gaudi building, sooo exciting. To reach the flat on the 4th floor we had to use an absolute old school elevator, so nice. I felt like in the twenties ;)... It was a very nice trip and I was always a full member of the party group (and I still celebrated when everybody was already sleeping for quite a long time :D)! At the airport the next morning I urgently needed a good and solid breakfast cause I had a little hangover ;)...!

So long!

Summer 2014

- what a wonderful time for a little football horse like me - FOOTBALL WORLDCUP IN BRAZIL!

First I almost couldn't wait to get it started, and now my team really made it to the final!!! I can't believe it!!

GO GERMANY GO!!!

We went to a watch party, where some hundreds of people meet to watch the match! The atmosphere was breathtaking!! Everybody was cheering for our team! I was such a nervous piece of horse during this match - I needed to drink a lot of beer for ralaxation!

And then it happened: GERMANY WON THE MATCH! Now the whole nation is world champion!

It was the most wonderful match I've ever witnessed! I'll never forget that moment when WE scored!

I think this will be quite a long party night ;-)...!

See you then!

Hello Hotte friends!

Today I was allowed to go to the gym with my daddy. A very modern and nice gym called Wellness Company in Saarbrücken near the river :). We both want to become physically fit and get muscles like Tim Wiese :D ;). So we trained 60 minutes with the crosstrainer and another 30 minutes with other gym machines. After that I was completly tired but happy. Now daddy and me go to MC Donalds to regain the lost calories :D ;)

Hi friends,

aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhh this is NO holiday weather!!! I needed to put on a cap as my ears were almost freezing off. As there was no way of going out into the rain and snow, I suggested to Holgi to spend a nice and relaxed day at Stubay recreation centre. We had such a lovely day inspite of the bad weather and relaxed at the swimming pool, the sauna and the steam bath - wonderful.
In the evening we were all tired and slept very fast...!

Hello friends,

jihaaaaaa this is our first holiday with fantastic weather conditions. So mommy, daddy, my friend Holgi and me decided to spend the day at the wonderful slopes of Schlick2000 ski resort at the Stubaital.
We had an awesome view over the mountainside, we did some snow-hiking and had fantastic ski-runs.
After that we relaxed in sunloungers and enjoyed a nice glass of "Weißbier" at the "Hüttn".

It was a lovely day with my family!

Hello my friends,

today the weather wasn't that good again, so we went to Innsbruck for a little shopping trip.

On our way we passed the ski jump of Bergisel, which is famous for the Four Hills Tournament that takes place every year in December and January.

After visiting Café Sacher and having a lovely piece of cake and some coffee, we went to the "Goldenes Dachl" - the Golden Roof. It's one of the most famous sights in Innsbruck. It was completed in 1500 being decorated with 2,738 fire-gilded copper tiles for Emperor Maximilian I. to mark his wedding. The Emperor and his wife used the balcony to observe festivals, tournaments, and other events that took place in the square below.
It was amazing to stand there and watch the people go by as if it's nothing special at all...! People are always in a hurry...!

But we were not :-)! We went on to Swarovski, where we found everything sparkling and glittering and illuminated - it was wonderful! Even the stairs were shining brightly with little diamonds!

Of course we did not miss the biggest shopping mall there, the Tyrol. They had some lovely Easter decorations we had to take some pictures with :-)!

Then we went back to our car, passed the "Annasäule" - a huge column that holds Mother Mary on top - and on our way back home again the wonderful Bergisel and an awesome view over the city of Innsbruck.

We had a fantastic day!

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYBODY!

We had such a wonderful day today! Holgi and me were so nervous and excited about our Easter presents that we woke up very early in the morning.
Mom had already prepared everything for us, so the fun began :-)! We got some delicious chocolate eggs and Holgi even got a very special present - a bike! Of course I had to look after Holgi - he's such a small donkey...

Then we decided to go for a walk. There were sooo many interesting things to discover: strange wooden statues, chicken running around directly on the road, and wonderful views on the Stubai mountains.

Our walk wasn't boring at all, we did some rock-climbing - which was a very strenuous action... so we had to satisfy our thirst at a little watering place - the water was fresh and cooled us down!

We passed a lovely little waterfall and caught sight of the very first Stubai-flowers. On our way back home we met some of my very close fellows - DONKEYS! We immediately liked each other and a nice little talk. But I've got the strange feeling I've met these guys before...

Having arrived at home, we discovered the lovely jonquils on the table - Holgi loves flowers, so I lifted him up for a closer look!
But then we were quite tired and relaxed with a wonderful glass of champagne viewing the mountainside again.

This was our last day at Stubaital, tomorrow we'll be heading back home to Saarbrücken - I'm already veeery curious about the things to come ;-)!

All the best for you,
your Hotte

Hello friends,

our journey continues. After 14 great days at nice Cote d'Azur we travelled around 550 Kilometers to Lago di Garda in Italy. Such a nice place and we checked in at a very nice little hotel in the mountains. There the landscape was so wonderful and we had a great view over the Lago di Garda.
Sometimes the weather was not that good, but no problem... We had a lot of fun despite of the rain.
We did an exhausting hike through the woods and the mountains and moreover we met a real cow. After that we ate the best pizza in the world at a famous James Bond restaurant. This was a movie location for the James Bond movie A Quantum of Solace.

Friends, now I continue eating my wonderful Diavolo Pizza - you will see some new adventures soon.

Hello friends,

last station of our this year's holiday: Berlin, our exciting capital.
An absolutly fantastic City. First we visited the famous places, I especially liked the Brandenburger Tor and the Alexanderplatz with the famous Fernsehturm. I also met a good friend, the "Berliner Bär". No question, the trip's highlight was the musical "Hinterm Horizont" in the Marlene Dietrich Theater near the Potsdamer Platz. In this Udo Lindenberg Musical you can learn so much concerning Berlin's history and the fall of the Berlin Wall that once seperated East and West Berlin for more than 27 years.

It was very very interesting and exciting!
Last but not least we went to Berlin Zoo. There I got to know a new friend of mine, Hippo the huge hippopotamus.

All in all a great holiday final and I enjoyed it with mommy and daddy.

RESPECT MAAAAN! Hello from Jamaica!

The time for summer holidays has eventually come! I have been planning this for months and now we’re there! I’ve almost forgotten how wonderful the Carribbean is! The sky and the oceans are nowhere bluer, cocktails never taste better, the water is warmer than anywhere else and life is never more enjoyable!
Have you ever heard of Rick’s Café? It was voted into the list of the 10 best bars in the world! Of course we went there and enjoyed a wonderful cold Jamaican beer. We watched the people jumping down the rocks into the ocean, but we were too scared to do so! Far too dangerous for such a little horse like me! Furthermore there you can watch the most beautiful sunset on the island! That was awesome!
I decided to rather go on a boat trip! That was sooo awesome! We listened to reggae music and enjoyed the sunshine. But never forget to be safe: of course I wore a life jacket ;-)!
As the food was also delicious, I had to watch my weight a little bit, so I went to the hotel gym with my daddy! Although working out was very hard, I felt like a powerful racehorse afterwards.

After 2 weeks on this wonderful island we have to pack our suitcases and fly home. I’m gonna miss the Jamaican way of life: JAMAICA NO PROBLEM! Nevertheless I’m looking forward to cooler weather and a deep breath of fresh, cool, clear, German air ;-)!

YAMAN! Hotte

Hi my German-football-friends!

Guess what!!! I travelled to Frankfurt with my parents in order to watch the football match of GERMANY and Poland! It was such an amazing atmosphere in the Commerzbank Arena!
There were many Polish fans, so we had real good vibes in the stadium. Luckily my team, called "Die Mannschaft" won with 3:1!

Great match – great fans – great weather – great day!

JIHAAAA my friends!

Today I could finally fulfill one of my most important life missions:
I was invited to spend a day with a REAL HORSE! Oooh my God, I was sooo excited! I must admit that I was a little scared, too… After all you never know if my horse friend likes me! And they are really really tall…! And heavy!

So we went to the Birkeschbachhof where my horse friend – he is called Jazzy Sunday – happily lives. He is 17 years old, which is – I think – a horse’s best age, and he is a quarter horse! I brought him an apple, I thought bringing a gift is never a bad idea ;)!
First, I met a dog friend, and then we ate hay together in Jazzy’s stable. We sniffed at each other a bit and quickly found out that we really liked each other :)! Then Jazzy was cleaned, groomed and finally saddled. It was sooo interesting to watch this! I also was allowed to sit on a Western saddle! I have to keep in mind to ask my mommy for an own little saddle…

Then we rode into the indoor riding arena. It was such an amazing feeling! I would have never expected to ever ride a real horse! But today was the day!
I sat between Jazzy’s ears and enjoyed the view and the wind between my ears! Finally I got used to all this, and I think I’m quite a good horse-horseman B)! At the end, I rode Jazzy like I had done nothing else before in my life: walking, trotting and gallop were no problem at all!
Special thanks to aunt Birgit, who made this day so very wonderful to me!

See you soon!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
We went to Cologne for the weekend, as we were invited to a wedding there. Therefore we did not have a lot of time to do sightseeing, but we managed to take at least a few pictures.
We went by underground, saw the Cologne Cathedral and also had some Halloween costumes. I think Freya and me looked quite funny, didn't we?

Spooky Halloween greetings to all of you!

Hello Friends,

jihaaa, I'm back in Ischgl!! I was allowed to spend New Year's Eve with Mummy and Daddy in Ischgl. Such a beautiful place. Daddy took me to the new cable car, called Pardatschgradbahn. With the Pardatschgradbahn you can go to 2624 Meters in about 7-8 minutes... Great, but also a big adventure for a little horse. The weather was sooo nice and I enjoyed every minute in the snow. Our hotel also had a great wellness area and I relaxed in the steam bath and in the sauna.

All in all a perfect start to 2016 with beautiful days in Ischgl.

Hi friends,

a big dream came true today and I could fulfill another life mission: I was allowed to come along with aunt Nessa to a football match. And it wasn't just a match, it was an important match of my favourite team, VfB Stuttgart! They played against Hertha BSC, the team from Berlin! Of course I've learned all the fan songs in order to support my team best possible - and I wore the team jersey!
And guess what! MY VFB WON with 2:0 and therefore got 3 important points in the German Bundesliga!

What a wonderful day!

Yours, Hotte
