Lupo, host's mom's home, German

Jerena Posted Mar 22, 2013, 2:18 pm	Hi at all! My mum picked me for the Big German Round Robin, that will start for me this weekend! I´m so excited and happy that I will see a lot of Germany, meet new friends and have fun where ever I will go in the next months! So, I want to introduce myself to let you know how my life is here in Oldenburg. You see, I have a lot of pet friends here: there are the dogs Jesko, Biene and Brando and the cats Kitty and Pavel. I love them! My favourite books are about dogs! Maybe you´ll train new tricks with me? And, of course, the movies I prefere are about dogs, too! I hope there is time to watch movies at your place. I love all kind of animal, like my mum (she is an animal keeper at a dog´s hotel), and want to meet your pets, that would be great! At one picture you can see my dog food... is it possible to give food to me that is more delicious??? I cant´t wait for the travel to begin! Tomorrow next news, Lupo
Jerena Posted Mar 25, 2013, 12:02 pm	Whooo, mum took me to her working place! It was stormy weather! Look at the beautiful pond but *brrr* the wind was so cold! Where is the summer? I want to show you my favourite toys: an orange frisbee and a purple ball! So sad I couldn´t take them with me... To be best prepared for my journey I ate some food that is just not to heavy so I think there woulnd´t be a problem to fit in the envelope. And my mum made me eat the disgusting vermifuge... I also get a medicament against fleas so don´t worry, when I arrive at your home I´ll be the cleanest dog you´ll ever meet!

MA_17 Posted Apr 2, 2013, 11:46 pm	Hello Mommy, today I arrived. When I tried to get out of my envelope I heard some voices. There were Alex_Kitty and Crawfish. And a creepy guy was watching us. I heard it's their bodyguard called Oops. I got a warm welcome. Then I showed my souvenirs. That guy called Oops was very interested in my lollies. A few minutes later, Oops and both lollies were lost! Hmmm... Yours Lupo

Here we're next to the river Spree, the main river of the city. In the late afternoon we were so tired that we used the metro back home! Your little Lupo
MA_17 Posted Apr 9, 2013, 10:18 am	Hello Mommy, today I did a walk through a small village in Saxony-Anhalt. It's called Zschornewitz. Years ago this village had a really big power station. This is a sign of it. Here it is really quiet. Then a smell met my nose. I did what a dog has to do: snoop! I followed that smell and thought that I'll meet another dog, but NO, it was a bear. MA_17 Posted Apr 25, 2013, 10:21 am	Hey Mommy, as you know, spring already arrived. So we decided to enjoy the sun and did a walk near the water. Berlin has lots of water! That river is a channel and it is called Berlin-Spandauer-Schifffahrtskanal. And this is the North Harbor. Lupo

MA_17 Posted May 8, 2013, 2:38 pm	Hello Mommy, today we visited Ferropolis. The "the city of iron" is an open museum of old huge industrial machines. It's an open air museum which contains machines from the mid-twentieth century. They can measure to 30 meters high, 120 meters long and weigh up to 1980 tons. Moreover, the area is used for several events like opera or music festivals like the "Melt! festival". There are 5 enormous excavators for open-cast mining and each of them has its own name! As we are good guys we were allowed to climb on "Gemini". From there we had a fantastic view over the whole area! Let's start with the lake around Ferropolis. It is called Gremminer Lake. This is "Big Wheel". It's huge! These are "Mad Max" on the left and "Medusa" on the right. In front of them you can see the arena. And these are "Medusa" (once again) and "Mosquito" on the right. This is "Gemini" where we were allowed to climb on it! This is the engine room of "Gemnini". "Mad Max" in front of us. This was an amazing day. Lupo
