Hello mom Linda!
I arrived today at my host mom house! My host mom has a travelling toy as well, her name is Cotton Candy! She is a tiger, like me! She haven't travelled yet, but she will soon. But while she doesn't travel, she makes me company. Cotton Candy: What is this mom? Host mom: A new friend for you - Ugrasena! He comes from Indonesia! Cotton Candy: Hello Ugrasena, welcome! Lets take a picture together! Ugrasena: I haven't came alone, I brought you some gifts... Cotton Candy: How nice! A keychain, a magnet, a fan, a pencil and tea from Indonesia! Thank you Ugrasena! Today, the host mom also received a package full of candy, from Germany! Me and Cotton Candy ate candies until we drop! And then we watched TV! We haven't done much but the day was really nice! I needed to relax a little bit after my long travel! I am really enjoying my stay! Talk to you soon, mom! Ugrasena |

Hello mom!
Yesterday, host mom received an envelope full of stamps for her collection and I had to take a look! Look how beautiful! I also went outside, to take a look at the view. It's beautiful, there are real palm trees everywhere! Look what I found at the kitchen scale! His face looks familiar... Host mom loves to bake, so she has many things. Amazing! Ugrasena: Will we bake something, host mom? Host mom: Maybe, Ugrasena! We'll see! Talk to you soon, mom! Love, Ugrasena |

Hello mom!
Today, we made cinnamon cookies! It's really simple to make! Ingredients: 125 grams of unsalted butter 100 grams of sugar 300 grams of all-purpose flour 1 egg Cinnamon Recipe: In a boul, mix the butter with the sugar. Then add the egg and mix well. Finally, mix the flour. The mixture will stick to the hands. That's how it should be. Make small balls and cover them with cinnamon. Put in the oven for about 25 minutes at 180º C (356° F). After the 25 minutes, take off the oven, let it cool and it's done! This was the first time that host mom tried to make these cookies, and they turned out really well, they were tasty! These cookies are really good to eat at tea time. I hope you enjoy this recipe, mom. Talk to you soon! Love, Ugrasena |

Today, I went to host moms work. She works at an hostel in Coimbra, a beautiful city about 30 minutes from home. At the moment host mom is living in Coimbra, near her work. The reception I felt asleep in a bed... See, mom? I slept in a hostel room! Then I played the guitar that they have on their living room. Talk to you soon! Love, Ugrasena |

Hey!
Mom host went to the supermarket, and she found this cute postbox on the street: Cute, right? In Portugal they have these cute post boxes, but this one we found is no longer 'working', because the post office it belongs is closed now. Lately, they closed lots of post offices, sadly. I hope I find you happy and fine, mom! Love, Ugrasena |

Hey mom!
Today we went sightseeing. I even went to a major attraction in Coimbra. Can you guess what attraction? Well, I will show you later. First, we went to Jardim da Sereia (Translation: Mermaid Garden/Park). It's small park, in the centre of the city, with beautiful decorations. It's near the place where host mom lives. I'm not on this picture, but I wanted to show you how beautiful it is! I even took a picture with this nice gentleman! After we leave the park, and go up one street, we will find the Archs and a statue of the Pope John Paul II. We will go up this street, but first we will go to another place. Bye! Ugrasena |

Hey!
We also went to the Botanical Garden. It's a beautiful garden and a really calm place to be and relax. So much green! Amazing! Me inside the big tree. Can you see me? There is a fountain in the middle of the garden. Take a better look! I took a nap in one of the trees. The 'walk of the lindens'. And we ended up our visit to the Botanical Garden sitting next to a pond with beautiful gold fishes! Where did we went next? You'll find out later, mom! Take care, Ugrasena |
