I'm very happy that alleycat and her Kitten have chosen me as their first toyvoyager. Today I met 2 toyvoyagers from different countries - Purple Bun from England, and Robinson from Germany. I'm looking forward to see the world, too!

This computer is a PC (Pentium-4) running Linux (Gentoo). I love computers, and will really apreciate it if you'll let me sit near your computer, and make a picture!

I arrived!!! My hosts are nice and they send greetings to Robinson, who stays with my family in Jerusalem for a while.

I have to hurry, don't know, what happens, but it seems, that my hosts want to go on a short trip to another city. Let's see, where we will go. I'm really wondering whether they want to go outside. It had been raining cats and dogs, but it seems to be a little bit better now.

Ok, I decided to go with them. I'm really tired from my journey, but of course I don't want to stay at home.

We were in Heidelberg today, but only visited the zoo for one hour. Then we had to go back to the car, because everyone was wet from the heavy rain. My hosts promissed us, that they would go back again next week.

;) I knew, that we wouldn't be there for a longer time, I knew it, when we started :)

I also helped to prepare the meal for lunch: spinach, mashed potatoes and fried eggs.

Later we baked a Zebracake and Petra took many step by step photos, but then we saw, that no photo was on the camera. So you only can see the cake without  chocolate icing.

Right now I'm playing with Sabrina and the other toyvoyagers, which are going with us on this trip.

In the afternoon we visited the Great Arbersee (lake). This lake is one of three lakes in the Bavarian Forest. On the Czech site of this big forest is the Bohemian Forest with five more lakes. The Great Arber is the highest peak of the Bavarian-Bohemian-mountain rigde, with an elevation of 1456 metres, while we were on 935 metres. We unhappily couldn't see the Arber, because the weather was too foggy.

On the way back to the hotel, my hosts and other members of their family visited a house, while we had to stay in the car. We didn't know, why we weren't allowed to go with them, but when they came back, they carried "big" boxes and seemed to have a lot of fun. We had to realize, that they were in a distillary shop and tried some of the bottles, before they bought some. (of course they only sipped, because they didn't want to have problems with their heads - whatever they wanted to tell us by saying this).

We all are a little sad, that it is time to say good-bye and drive home again.
At last we want to visit Regensburg.
Regensburg is located at the confluence of the Danube and Regen rivers. To the east lies the Bavarian Forest. The old town of Regensburg is Unesco World Heritage.

The first settlements in Regensburg date to the Stone Age.

Today we played soccer. It's not so easy to play "sit-soccer" (that's how my hosts call it). I was the goalkeeper.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1123/1463061741_1023efd9dd.jpg?v=1191166967
At first everyone sat on the place, where he or she was supposed to be. You only had been allowed to move on the place by turning around, but without walking. Alfie Langer was the referee. He was the only one with a real soccer shirt.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1255/1463064659_6fbbf699b9.jpg?v=1191167182
At once Tamalyn tried to score, but Elisabeth did a good work and

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1310/1463064663_36fc18506a.jpg?v=0
just jumped to the right place and caught the ball. But then her punt was bad and luckily Bongo got the ball. He tried to score, but Decker was just at the right place to defend in front of me, who was the goalkeeper.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1349/1463064673_21c62a8532.jpg?v=0
At the end of the first half we still played 0:0, but of course we had some chances for the first goal.

Start of the second half
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1362/1463064683_1277b6b608.jpg?v=0

Somehow Glory fell. I know, that I didn't hit her or something.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1313/1463064685_df6b83fb81.jpg?v=0

Small Fry nearly shot a goal after that, but I was such a good goalkeeper and caught the ball. Glory fell again, maybe she already was very tired, she is so tiny.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1392/1463068187_33c99dfe1f.jpg?v=0

Here Tamalyn got the ball and tried to play to Glory.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1006/1463068197_97ff3b211d.jpg?v=0

Small Fry got the ball to play, but had no chance to score.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1055/1463068205_7c86177024.jpg?v=0

After a while Alfie Langer had to talk to Dottie Grace, who complained about something I didn't understand.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1144/1463068217_acbfa8d6a4.jpg?v=0

1:0 against my team!!! Thanks to Dottie Grace!!
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1090/1463068227_0f7cc022cb.jpg?v=0

And then a silly thing happened, but this was a big luck for my side. Bongo and Small Fry tried to catch the ball with their bodies, but they had no luck.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1408/1463068233_5959692d64.jpg?v=0

Elisabeth jumped to the right side of her goal, but the ball rolled into the goal on the left side. :)
So at the end the result was 1:1

Untergrombach is one of the suburbs of Bruchsal. Here we are on the "Michaelsberg" (hill) and have a wonderful view over the Rhine valley. Petra's parents live close to the wood, but on the right side, which belongs to Bruchsal.
As young girl she loved to swim in that quarry pond, but since she is married and has kids, she prefers to go to the swimming pool of Bruchsal. In the background you see the hills of the Palatinate.
(I'm sorry for the photo quality :( )

Here we are back in Bruchsal. The building you see here is the old slaughterhouse. Nowadays a part of it is a restaurant and a place for comedy shows. Ralf and Petra, my hosts, like to go there. Funny!
Also you see on the photo, that Bruchsal has parts belonging to the Kraichgau. The first photo with the view to Bruchsal (in Untergrombach) showed a part that belongs to the Rhine valley.

On Sunday we went for a walk along the Ammersee (lake south of Munich). After 2 hours we decided that it's time for a mulled wine at the Dießen Christmas market. This Xmas market is held only at one weekend at Dießen. And there is no electricity allowed and the goods sold are solely hand-made. It was great when it was getting dark and everything was lit by little candles. In the middle of the market a real blacksmith was working on the metal. It's a pity that the camera could not take photos in the dark.

Today i was going with my host to the new house off a friend.
My host prommised her that she will put some wallpaper on the wall.

I did go with my host to see how it works.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2182/2267126768_2d70b82e7e.jpg
First you have to clean your wall from all the old paper.  They did that in the last few days.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2326/2267126848_35878ff969.jpg
Put some glue on the lane off paper.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2359/2267126806_f88019c9c2.jpg
Than you can put the first lane on the wall

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2135/2267126740_b36d1ef66a.jpg
I'm watching all off this from the heating so i'm not getting dirty with the sticky sticky glue.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2337/2266337923_0e6cf0df3c.jpg
Yippeeeee she has finished this wall.

There will be a other wall in the next view weeks and than my host have putt wallpaper on al lot off walls in this lovely home.

Hi everybody!

We had a really surprise, because the winter came very abruptly back.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2181/2316257953_0794066104.jpg?v=0

So we stayed mainly inside. I'm indeed a penguin but liked to join Galen at his warm and cosy place.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2331/2316154121_8878c950f7.jpg?v=0

Also we had a lot fun, when we played hide and seek
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2331/2316154121_8878c950f7.jpg?v=0

and I helped Sarah, doing some postcrossing
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3288/2316257951_e7d6b19870.jpg?v=0

Yesterday, uuh we had to get up so early
I was on the way with my host and Galen first to Polly the dog and Sarah's dad need to drove us,because the trams and buses were striking. So we could drive with them, because, my host's mum need to get to a school beyond of Freiburg- What a luck!

After that Sarah had a loong meeting at the Federal Employment Office.
Galen and I talked otherwise in my host's bag , till they are talking about jobs  and we hold our paws crossed.

When we walked back, we end up at main railstation, as the trains are still working so we jumped in.
Badly has we want have a short seat at first class places the camera batteries broke down. But to sit first class was really cool!
That's the view out of train

Today, because, Sarah had mainly the hole day free we went on a short trip in her area. On the house hill with big wood called
"Sternwald"

We had to start by bike, but I prefer this seet =)
badly it wasn't on Sarah's bike.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3018/2316257973_f934072327.jpg?v=0

ok, than I rang the alarm bell
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3283/2316257969_a4a6777738.jpg?v=0

after that I had to sat next to Galen in her bag, and we could start.

That's our destination
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3182/2316166067_862a3c16b5.jpg?v=0

on our way up the hill, while Galen is turning and climbing around I have a seat on a trunk and watched him
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2100/2316257965_27fc38309e.jpg?v=0

after a good climbing up the hill, we arrived at the "Wasserschlößchen" a small nice castle watertank.

can you see us???

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2153/2316981068_e6cdff466c.jpg?v=0

Really funny was that, abruply a black dog came to as waving very happy.
???I thought, if I recognised that it was Polly so I said hello! Sarah couldn't believe also, because it's a complete other area.

On have way back down, I saw a really nice wood playground
but because of loud shooting, which Sarah really don't likes we failed.
But she promised to visit another nice playground, where she has been when she was a child.

So, we had a really nice day!

Hi out there!

I had a nice day because I went with Galen and our host in the  the city center.
this is the Statue of St.Bertold, the name patron of city center middle
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2024/2335378643_755903b149.jpg?v=0

and this one of the old famous watch and entrance towers from Freiburg in Mediaeval time called "Martinstor"
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2173/2335307369_c8acb40a47.jpg?v=0
lots people were on tour =) =)

First we went to a shop for new shoes for Sarah. HELP, shoes! Left and right side *aarg*
How can people find there the perfect shoes???
I agree with Galen "What the hell, need this lots of shoes!"

We sat down and Sarah tryed some shoes, while she gets some other shoes we watched after the current one and her stuff.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2149/2335307373_4544bb9eec.jpg?v=0

On our way to another shop (our host was also looking for a thinner jacket for springtime)
we stopped on market place with famous cathedral

The first we saw from farer away, is (Sarah means it's more like a head for the moment)
But it's a part of the tower which is going to repaired now.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3100/2335307377_c90b686b9f.jpg?v=0

impressions of the cathedral:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2411/2335307395_11ef859a1e.jpg?v=0

the entrance area:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3106/2335307381_a81fc2a401.jpg?v=0

really beautifull where at  the the entrance door wall, badly the technic isn't copying. :-/

The market around the catherdal with his typical stands with products from the area et al. like things from Black Forrest. Or closer around Freiburg was great.
They had things from fruit, vegetables, meet, and selfmade wooden things or flowers.
here we have it badly again, the pictures isn't working.

But we got a shock also, no I'm joking the monster was just a statue. *lol* But the building and the door is really nice, isn't it??
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2085/2335378679_1299e2d9f9.jpg?v=0

Very often like on the  pictures below is here in the street like everywhere in Freiburgi also, the city of arms from Freiburg.
Which is from the buckler of city patron of St.Georg

Oh,s.th important as well. On our way back Sarah bought two balls of icream *yummi* especially the chocolate was fantastic ;-)

Hi!

A lot happend the last time. Badly the computer didn't like me and chanceled my first post.

Galen and I started our trip (quite early, uaah) to attend at our host's new work, but it ended really stressfull and without any photos.
Why???The tram we drove with, had to stop curtly after a stop, because there were a car standing partly on the tracks that we couldn't pass. :o We waited a time, some people started to getout of the tram, while a traffic warden is asking and telephoning around the owner.
[code]
After another time Sarah decided to get out as well, jump to
town center, but her following tram had gone already*ggr*
The next came after some minutes but we were just under the the time. So our host has to run to the residential home for the elderly and Galen and I were shaked.
Our host changed the dress and went to worked, we had a sleep again and funny laughing while this time.

Next day we tryed again and here are some picture now:

Here I am - after a fast trip I arrived at my new host yesterday. I opened my traveling box carefully - and then I saw the flash light of my host's camera for the first time. She was really happy that I arrived and she showed me the dogs of the family immediately. My host gave me some special dogs sweets that I gave to Gina (the black dog) and Susi (the blond dog). Now both dogs love me and I don't feel afraid anymore.

Later in the evening my host told me that I will go on a trip to Dublin/Ireland tomorrow for some days. Wow - I am really excited about that - I read the book about Ireland for the whole evening and I also try to fly with a special wooden helicopter - Great :) !

I will write more when I am back from Dublin in a few days.

Bye,

Hi - here I am again.
Between the 24th and the 26th of April I had been in Dublin, the capital of Ireland together with my host. We had a great time there. The city was great. The weather was often fine, but there was also a lot of rain. During the sunny periods we visited many parks. During the rain we visited some museums (there photos hadn't been allowed, sorry!).

Here are the first photos: Dublin Castle, Patricks Cathedral with its park, St. Stephen's Green...

More photos for you :) :

We visited the Statue of Molly Malone and the Trinity College too. I loved the old part of the College - it looks wonderful. There I visited the Book of Kells, which is a fantastic old book written an the end of the 8th century. And I met another Toyvoyager - we didn't have much time together, but my host took a photo of us.

Here are the last photos of my short trip to Ireland. You can see me in Merrion's Park together with a nice female statue, together with my host, with new friends in front of a Guiness bar and again at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

I hope you enjoy these picture as much as I enjoyed my trip to Ireland.

Bye for now,

Hi!

Last weekend I visited my host's grandmother and we went on a walk through the Old Village of the city where my host had lived during her childhood. Have a look at the nice old houses and the nature in and around this little old village.

Some days ago the next toyvoyager named Tilda arrived. Because of the nice weather I went on a walk with our host, our dogs and Tilda and showed her the nature around our host's home.

It was great to have Tilda here - we had a lot of fun together and we talked all the time.

Wow - what a great trip - Tine took Tilda and me to the airport in Düsseldorf. At first we had a look at the arrival hall - so many flights and people. Then we went upstairs - there was a terrasse with a great view. We saw many planes coming from different countries. That was interesting :) !

Today Tilda and I went on a short trip to Cologne. Our host did some shopping at first. She had told her hubby that she has got nothing to wear, therefore they bought some T-Shirts and a skirt for her. After the shopping we went to the Cologne Cathedral & to the river Rhine. I also saw another old church named "Groß St. Martin" and I went through the old quarter of Cologne. The weather was hot, therefore I went to a fountain to rest.

Have a nice day,

What an interesting day - the bell rang - the postman brought a big envelope - and another toyvoyager arrived.

His name is Sebastiaan and he's a nice crab. He brought some special shoes and a picture of a dutch windmill from the Netherlands, where he normally lives.

Now Tilda, Sebastiaan and I have many things to talk about.

Hi!

Today I am really tired, because of our trip to Monschau, a small village with wonderful houses and nice hills and ruins around the village.

We were hiking and climbing - it was great :) ! We visited the village, the houses, the small river inside - and a nice bakery. I loved the cookies :) !

What a fantastic day...
