Hello everyone ...my name is Cool Jules as you can tell by looking at my picture of course.
I was invited to be at the Teddy-bear Day in Malaysia so I left home for that ...far away country . But before that we had a party first of all MY FAREWELL and GOODBYE party and the welcoming of two new toy-voyagers in this house ..Teran a doll (from USA) and Blaze a pink mouse. Of course Shirley and I had to give one another a BIG hug.. I am sorry not being around this cute lady anymore. ~sniffles~ But look forward to my adventures..and be strong!! Because I am Cool Jules !! |

After a long journey from home, I have arrived in Yul's place which I was invited to the Teddy Bear party next month. |
aliah Posted Sep 9, 2007, 3:45 am |
We're at National Monument which was built to pay tribute to valiant Malaysian soldiers who gave their lives defending the country during Communist Insurgensy in the 1950s. It is one of the largest freestanding sculptures in the world. |
aliah Posted Sep 9, 2007, 5:51 am |
We're at Tun Abdul Razak Memorial, Malaysia's second Prime Minister. The memorial used to be his residence & now it exhibits documents, mementos, souvenirs & his personal belongings. |
aliah Posted Sep 9, 2007, 6:15 am |
We're at Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman, a fine example of a traditional Malay house. We love the beautiful carvings of the house as well as its beautiful grounds. |
aliah Posted Oct 7, 2007, 2:40 am |
I am at the Teddy Bear party and I'm so excited about it! |

Hello everyone, I have arrived in Ipswich today.
It is wonderful to be out of that travel pack and resting with some other teddybears. On Saturday I will have my photo taken and you will be able to see me here in TOO HOT Queensland. Of course being a surfie bear, I really love the heat. |
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Nov 18, 2007, 2:11 am |
When travellers arrive here they are given a special friend to look after them.
My special friend is Alfie Langers brother and we are great mates. Last weekend I went on a Model T Ford Ralley. I didn't know people still drove them, but I had alot of fun and we visited some fun places. |
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Nov 18, 2007, 2:15 am |
Today I went to Queens park to visit the animal reserve with my mate Shirley Sheep.
I had fun chatting to the native animals. |
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Nov 26, 2007, 12:30 am |
I am having a great time. I was dissapointed with the rainy weather because we were going to the beach, but it is OK because rain is very important here.
Instead, we drove high up the range to Toowoomba. We visited the Picnic Point lookout, childrens park, visitors centre and another park. I have been hanging around with some other bears here, such fun. We three Toy Voyagers wrote postcards to our Mums. |
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jan 18, 2008, 3:37 am |
I had a few fun days out before Christmas.
I went to Brisbane and saw the big Christmas Tree and I went for a boat ride across the Brisbane River with my mates FredAbear and Shirley Sheep. I have always wanted to visit a beach and learn to surf, so I did both. It was so good and some children came to watch. |
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jan 18, 2008, 3:44 am |
Christmas was lots of fun with the other toys and the bears who live here.
Roo arrived in time to join us so there were four of us. Crizle bought a new bear from the Mater Hospital Childrens Fund and he is called Monty. We are great friends. We all celebrated New Year together with party poppers. Loads of fun. Happy 2008 everyone. |

Yay I have arrived in Miami!!! |
tarepanda Posted Feb 27, 2008, 8:12 pm |
Today we go to a Chinese New Year Festival. Smith is interested in seeing a dragon dance, it's his life mission.
The dragon dance is quite colorful and interesting. The dragon, along with the baby lions, danced around the venue to the drumming. These two are the mascots of the Beijin Olympic 2008. There are a lot of booths at the festival. This one has a lot of colorful Chinese arts and crafts like the pretty umbrella. Cool Jules and I helped out at the Puff Dragon Boat Racing Team's promotional booth. They have an impressive collection of the medals and trophies they won. I found a small paddle but I think it's still too big for me. We also visited the booth Tarepanda was volunteering at, by Tzu Chi, a Taiwanese charity organization. These Chinese knots ornaments are hand woven by the volunteers. These are the bubbles for making the boba tea. Chinese snacks, also hand made, on sale. There are the fried tofu, fried dumplings, soy sauce eggs, and pan fried buns. The veggie buns are first steamed in bamboo steamers. Then they are pan fried to finish. |
tarepanda Posted Feb 27, 2008, 11:36 pm |
So, what's a cool dude like me doing in Miami? Visit the South Beach of course.
On the causeway heading to Miami Beach, we can see the cruises docked at the port. Boy, I wish one day I will be onboard one to the Bahamas. That would be so COOL! This is the world famous Ocean Drive on SoBe. It is lined with palm trees and Art Deco style buildings. The place to see and be seen. What nice weather! And I so look totally cool. No, I mean HOT! And here is the house where the designer Versace used to live. That is, until he got killed right on the doorsteps in front of the gate. |
tarepanda Posted Mar 6, 2008, 5:04 am |
Today we go to the Fairchild Tropical Park.
They are having an orchid show. Look at all the colorful flowers. (okay, what's it? two guys posing in front of some flowers???? Can you tell I am not too thrilled?) This is not orchid but the plant that blooms 8-feet-tall flower that stinks like rotten meat (to attract flies to propagate). Fortunately they only do so once every few years and not now! There are also sculptures done by famous artist. This one is by Botero. This is a very interesting artwork by Roy Lichtenstein. When you walk around the house and look at it from different angle, the house appears to fold and change perspective. It's amazing and we keep walking around it until we get dizzy. (you can see a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqsI09Tx2Sk It's not the same house but the effect is similar) Dale Chihuly, a famous glass artist, also has some pieces exhibited here. What an interesting day. It's a bit sad to leave Miami and its nice weather, but I will be flying to visit my next host. |
wourpet Posted Mar 8, 2008, 7:46 am |
Well I arrived in Colorado and really stood up to my name -- I was COOOOOOL. It was so nice and warm in Miami and then I get here and crawl out of my envelope in the mailbox and discover its only 20 degrees F (-5C) and I was some cold. As soon as I got into my hosts house I curled up on the couch with a lot of blankets. I asked wourpet if she would build a fire in the fireplace but she just laughed at me and said it was cool but not cold. I said "I'm Cool and its COLD!"
|
wourpet Posted Mar 8, 2008, 7:53 am |
Today was a lot warmer. Wourpet said that in the desert it gets very cold at night, even in the summer. We went down to the store and I looked around and said "This isn't desert" and wourpet laughed (she laughs at me a lot) and said its called alpine desert and we're right on the edge of it here. Even though Grand Junction is in a valley, it is very dry and needs irrigation to keep things growing.
I looked again and could see mountains all around us. Wourpet said we might go for a drive out of town and I will be able to really see the desert. Even cactii (thats like more than one cactus) |
wourpet Posted Mar 9, 2008, 12:44 am |
Today wourpet said we had a special event at the mall. Mesa Mall and the Blue Star Mothers were having a little party for military families -- especially for children who have a loved one not home right now.
I was invited as a special guest but they said I wasn't the ONLY special guest. We had breakfast first and I gobbled up some nice warm sweet rolls. Next we had an easter egg hunt and I was very happy when I found out the eggs were full of candy. We got even more candy and other goodys in our goody bags that were handed out. All of a sudden everybody jumped up and looked at me and they were clapping and cheering and I felt quite ... well, Cool.... until I found out they had spotted the Easter bunny coming up behind me. Once the Easter Bunny got there I decided he must be the other Special guest but I was happy to have had my 'moment'. |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 6:34 am |
Its been too cold outside for me even if Wourpet said it was well above freezing. I've been just hanging about inside and finding things to do. I have been onto the TV site and checked out what everyone else is doing.
Its nice that I can get in and see the pictures and read the travelogs -- it keeps me from getting too homesick. |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 6:49 am |
Well I'm still staying indoors but Wourpet needs the computer so I am doing my exploring in other places.
I found a bag of candy on the kitchen counter... I met a bear named Humphrey up on a shelf above the computer. We talked for awhile and he said he will be a TV someday but he is still working on his business plan. Then I met a lovable (he kissed me) pup on the table under the rose bush. He said he is already sort of a TV because he travels around in the host dads suitcase. His last trip was into the hospital so he is glad to be back home. |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 6:52 am |
The weather man said there is a chance of blowing snow, can you believe it. Wourpet told me to relax because there is no snow outside to blow but I thought maybe if it blows hard enough it might get here, Brrrrr!
I'm staying inside and stoking the fire. Its a very warm fire and I learned how to be very safe.. |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 7:07 am |
Hahahaha -- whooeee! Today Wourpet said she had a cool surprise for me since I stay inside the house so much. She put me on her vacuum cleaner so I could go for a ride. This was so COOL! I was a real COOL JULES. It was like a little space ship and hauled me all over the floor on its own. Wourpet said its a robot.
I rode it around the house from room to room and we bumped and banged into things like a bumper car and spun around in circles and zig zagged back and forth. Wourpet said she might take a video next time if I ride it again. That was so much FUN! |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 7:12 am |
Today was St Patricks Day! It was also a little warmer but when Wourpet invited me out to help move the woodpile I declined. She said if I stayed in I could help with the inside chores. I did the laundry and folded the clothes from the dryer.
I loaded the dishwasher. I watered the plants... and I fed the fish... |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 7:17 am |
After I finished the chores I did some more exploring around the house. Well -- I spent quite awhile looking at the fish actually...
and then I worked out for awhile on the exercise equipment... I went over to see if there was a fire in the fireplace and I found this cool thing called a pit and pendulum... I didn't do much else because I watched it for hours. The pendulum swings in circles and makes squares in the sand -- can you imagine that. I tried to watch for it to make a circle but it just kept swinging in circles and making squares. Circles and squares -- go figure. It was Cool. |
wourpet Posted Mar 20, 2008, 7:25 am |
Today I ventured outside finally. Well, okay -- I ventured into the garage. While I was there I found a bucket with some clayy and another bag of clay so I played with them for awhile and tried to make some little sculptures.
It didn't work very good for me -- I guess I'm just not a sculptor. The floor in the garage is covered with really COOL foam pads. I did some jumping and some somersaults. Maybe -- just maybe -- it will be warm enough for me to go out and see the desert tomorrow. |
wourpet Posted Mar 27, 2008, 7:10 pm |
Its warmed up a little and today I had a friend to hang out with. Coney has been away in Iraq becuase he is in the Army. He is back now and was home for Easter. We decided we are going to go on some adventures together while he is here.
Coney is a soldier so I think that makes him pretty cool too. |
wourpet Posted Mar 27, 2008, 7:58 pm |
Today we went to the Colorado Monument. It is Easter and it is Coneys birthday. Tomorrow Coney will fly back to the Army base at Ft Bragg, North Carolina and I will soon be going back to Miami.
Coney and me and Lucky-Ducky had a good time on the Monument today. We were'nt AT the Monument, we were ON the Monument. We were only on part of it though because wourpet says it is about 23 miles long and lots of up and down and winding roads. We drove through lots of tunnels on our way up and down the mountains We could really see lots of the valley from up here. We drove up a very crooked winding road -- you can see it from here. Here is a cool rock called 'Balanced Rock' I hope it stays balanced. When we came back down we drove out to the desert. This is the high desert -- or an 'Alpine Desert' it has lots of red rock, sand, sagebrush and cactii. |
wourpet Posted Mar 27, 2008, 8:13 pm |
On top of the monumet we could see down over some very large canyons. This is a picture of us hanging onto a tree on the edge. I was pretty cool -- didn't get too scared.
The Colorado Mountain is part of the Colorado Plateau It covers a large part of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada. The sign had losts of information about it. The sign says that the Colorado Plateau moves independently from the rest of North America -- like an island in the dirt -- and about 10,000 years ago it popped up a mile high above the rest of the country. Up here on the Monument we are even higher. Looking off the monument in the other direction we could see the Grand Valley and the city of Grand Junction and other towns like Fruita, Palisades, Clifton and Whitewater. The Colorado River flows through the valley. |
wourpet Posted Mar 29, 2008, 6:20 am |
Today I am packing up and getting ready to go back to MIAMI ! How cool is that? Well really, its HOT and I am looking forward to that. It is still too cool here for Cool Jules.
While I was packing today a box came with some more TVs. Candy Cotton from Australia and Mittens from Florida came together from Missouri. Here we all are together before I left. There's Coney, Mittens, Lucky-ducky, me and Candy Cotton. |
carlissa Posted Mar 31, 2008, 9:46 pm |
I am in Miami again! I enjoyed my visit so much last time, that I just had to come back for another visit. Yum Yum and Ossa made some popcorn and we sat out by the lake to enjoy the balmy breeze. |
carlissa Posted Apr 3, 2008, 2:31 am |
I went on a nature hike today with Ossa and Yum Yum at Matheson Hammock Park. The nature trails were a little spooky, but cool!
Here we are sitting on a log: We had to climb over this big boulder so we could continue down the trail: I climbed up this tree that was growing over the trail: We found a little cave! |
carlissa Posted Apr 6, 2008, 2:42 pm |
Today our host took us on a 15-mile bike ride through Shark Valley in the Everglades National Park! I didn't know this park was so big, and we only saw a very small part of it!
First we rode the bike about 3/4 mile to the Otter Cave Hammock Trail where we read a sign about the trail: Here I am with Ossa and Yum Yum. We are looking down into holes in the rock and there is water underneath! We rode on for a few miles and then stopped to take a picture of the Everglades. There's not much out here but grass and some bushes! About half way on our bike ride, we stopped at this observation tower and had lunch: After lunch, I saw an alligator! |
carlissa Posted Apr 12, 2008, 7:58 pm |
Ossa and I had planned on going to the beach today, but it's raining!
Prince Charming could tell that we were very disappointed, so he offered to read us a story. He read Once Upon a Time in the North by Philip Pullman. What a great story! It's about an aeronaut who meets a polar bear in the North Pole and they have a grand adventure together. We found a game in the back of the book, so we decided to play it. The game is called Perils of the Pole - sounds exciting! |
carlissa Posted Apr 19, 2008, 10:23 pm |
Today our host took Ossa and me for a bike ride down Old Cutler Road, which is in a very beautiful section of town. Our bike ride started at Cartagena Circle where we saw a pair of giant shoes!
Nearby we saw a pretty little canal: Then we got on the bike and rode down Old Cutler Road until we got to the beach at Matheson Hammock Park where we stopped for lunch. After lunch, we walked over to see Biscayne Bay and we could see downtown Miami in the distance. And we climbed up this mangrove tree that was growing in the water! After enjoying the beach for awhile, we decided to continue our bike ride. We found this little cemetery in the middle of a residential area! How cool is that! We read a sign there that said it was one of the oldest cemeteries in the area. Ossa was little scared to look around, but I thought it would be fun; it was such a pretty little cemetery. We found a gravestone of someone who was in the Civil War and he died over a hundred years ago! After that we rode back to the car and came home. |
carlissa Posted Apr 20, 2008, 3:01 pm |
This morning I got up early to watch the Sunrise Balloon Race! The hot air balloon race started yesterday and finished up today. The finish line was at the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport, which is close to where my host lives. So, Ossa and I set up a lawn chair outside to watch the balloons go by.
Here comes the balloons! I wish I could have gone up in one of those balloons! |
carlissa Posted Apr 20, 2008, 3:06 pm |
After watching the balloon race, I decided to go fishing!
Hey, I caught a fish! |
carlissa Posted Apr 26, 2008, 10:50 pm |
Today our host took Ossa and me to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park! We took a picnic lunch, so we decided to eat first. We shared a Cuban sandwich and some Fritos. After lunch, we went to see the lighthouse. Here we are sitting on a brick wall with the old top of the lighthouse in the background. The lighthouse is made from bricks and then whitewashed! Then we read a sign about the lighthouse. Our host asked if we wanted to go to the top of the lighthouse, and, of course, we said yes! We had to climb 109 steps to get to the top! Whew! what a climb! We had to stop about halfway to rest and look out this window. The view from the top was spectacular (and a little scary because we were on a tiny catwalk on the outside of the lighthouse). Here is the view of the beach from the top: And the view of the lighthouse keeper's house: And the view of the end of Cape Florida and the Atlantic Ocean: Then we climbed down and went to see the lighthouse keeper's house, which has been made into a museum. Here is the cistern the lighthouse keeper used to collect rainwater: We went inside the house and we signed the guest register. Outside again, we found this base marker. What is it for? Someone was nice enough to put a sign nearby that told about the base marker. After all the walking around, we rested on this bench for awhile. Then we went to the beach and played in the sand for awhile. Wow, what a fun day we had! |
carlissa Posted Apr 29, 2008, 9:21 pm |
Today I am leaving Miami and going to Oregon!
First, Ossa came to say goodbye and she gave me a kiss! I'm really gonna miss you Ossa! Then Prince Charming came to say goodbye and he told me I was a really cool dude! Finally, King Kong came by to say goodbye and to share his banana with me before I left. I had a great time here and I'm going to miss all my new friends, but it's time to move on! I will be on USPS Flight #0305 2710 0000 6232 4386. Adios, amigos! |

I have arrived in California!!! Woot! I feel right at home!! |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jun 11, 2008, 5:43 am |
So Izzy has been very busy and not fun. But she made it up to us today by bringing home tiny live roses. Their so cute and the perfect voyager size. She promised to take us on her errends now. |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jun 15, 2008, 9:20 pm |
Im helping Izzy house sit again. This place has a beautiful garden and so the other voyagers and I hang out there while Izzy does her things. I just love this great warm California weather and all the flowers! I also found "my" chair here! |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jul 3, 2008, 11:43 pm |
So, inbetween house sitting Izzy told us we would be going on a trip waaaaaaay out to the very edge of California to Susanville. I got really excited, Im finaly getting to see California!!! I got my stuff packed for an adventure! |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jul 3, 2008, 11:51 pm |
We drove for 4 HOURS and finally arrived. Its really smokey because of all the forest fires, so alot of the pictures we took were no good (Bummer!)
We set up camp and one of the nice people we camped with brought us donuts! We all shared one while unrolling the sleeping bag. |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jul 3, 2008, 11:58 pm |
So after a few days of camping and fun, with the camera NOT working right, we headed back to Izzy's, tired and dirty. on the ride home the camera suddenly worked! So we took as many pictures as we could! We drove through part of Nevada and Reno, then through the seirra nevada's. |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jul 4, 2008, 12:15 am |
So we stopped by one of Izzy's friend houses to water the plants and were amazed to find a mama Dove watching her nest. it was so sweet! As we were leaving we also saw a mama turkey and her babies running around! |
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jul 4, 2008, 12:24 am |
Izzy and her mom took all us voyagers out for a walk along the river near her house. it was beautiful, although smokey because California is having SOO many forest fires and all the smoke gathers here in the Sacramento Valley. We saw lots of wild life, and even the state bird! The California Quail. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 26, 2008, 1:07 am |
I arrived safely in New York this afternoon! It was a hot trip, I'm thankful I had my towel to keep me cool.
When I arrived there were several TV's waiting for me. I got to meet Resi, Chipper, KungFu Panda and Bene. Everyone was happy to see me and I was happy to see them too. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 26, 2008, 1:19 am |
Michele's husband came home last night from a business trip (he was in England for 2 weeks), so they decided to go out to breakfast this morning. Her husband said that he wanted to go to Friendly's so that's where we went.
We shared a big orange juice with Michele and an even bigger breakfast! We will all need to take a nap after this....but we were told that there was no time for naps. It was going to be a long day of running errands. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 29, 2008, 7:51 pm |
After breakfast we went to Hallmark and the bank. Nothing exciting happened at either of those places. Our next stop was at BJ's wholesale club. It was HUGE!!! Anything you've ever wanted in large amounts. Luckily Michele knew what she was looking for so it didn't take us very long. After BJ's we headed back to Rome to unload the groceries and have lunch. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 29, 2008, 8:05 pm |
This afternoon we took a short trip to the pet store. Michele and Daryl were looking for some special treats for Riley. We also made a stop at Target and Walmart but Michele's camera was having some issues so we didn't get our picture taken. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 29, 2008, 8:15 pm |
Today we said goodbye to KungFu Panda. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 29, 2008, 8:25 pm |
Another TV is leaving us today... Resi and Chipper said that they are ready to move on and see what the rest of the world has to offer. |
Michele_one_L Posted Jul 29, 2008, 8:37 pm |
I had to say goodbye to my last TV friend today! It's going to be lonely here all by myself. Michele promised that there are other TV's coming though. I hope they arrive soon. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 10, 2008, 5:05 pm |
WOW, That was fast! My host said that new TV's would be arriving soon, I didn't know that she meant today. Three new TV packages arrived today and inside was: Moley, Sussy Greenfeet, and twins Hinz + Kunz. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:03 am |
The weather has been terrible here! All we want to do is go outside and we can't because it's raining. It has rained everyday for a week. Our host says that we'll go outside as soon as we can. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:09 am |
It was raining again here today! We're starting to wonder if mother nature doesn't want us to go outside. For dinner tonight Michele made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. She said that it will keep us warm since the rain has made it cool here. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:16 am |
Today was a special day! We helped celebrate Riley's 2nd Birthday! Riley is Michele's Boston Terrier. He got a special cake with a ball on it. She said that it was safe for us to have some too. It was pretty yummy......But who celebrates a dog's birthday? |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:34 am |
A TV arrived today! We were excited to see who it was and it happen to be Michele's TV Tuffy. He's a cute little pup whose had some big adventures. Maybe he'll be around for a little while to tell us about his travels. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:43 am |
Another day of rain......I don't know how much more of this rain we can take. It was really scary because there was golf ball sized hail and we lost power for a little while. Michele said she's going to try and make it up to us. She can try but I don't know if she'll be able to. |
Michele_one_L Posted Aug 20, 2008, 12:50 am |
For dinner we had homemade Beef Stew. It was delicious!!! Then as we said Michele said she was going to try and make it up to us for all the rain we've been having lately. So for dessert she brought us this big brownie thing. It was bigger than us but it tasted great. I can't even remember what we were mad about. |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 1, 2008, 8:54 pm |
Today a new TV arrived! It was none other than Jimbo Elephant. He's visiting NY as part of the USA TVT. We all look forward to getting to know him more. |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 1, 2008, 9:26 pm |
Today we visited the Fort Stanwix Monument. It was very interesting to see and to learn the history of it. |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 1, 2008, 10:10 pm |
Once we entered the fort there was a young man in tradition clothing who asked us if we wanted to watch a short film about the Fort. Of course we wanted to! |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 1, 2008, 10:22 pm |
We learned a lot about the history of Fort Stanwix during our visit. Our host said she learned a lot as well. Too bad they weren't doing a reenactment this weekend. That would have been cool.... |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 1, 2008, 10:50 pm |
Today we took a short (1.5 hours) trip to Schenectady, NY to pick up Michele's sister. She wanted to come to Rome for a few days before school starts. When we got to Michele's step father's home we saw that he had a swimming pool......We all wanted to go swimming but Michele said that we didn't have the time. She said maybe next time. Oh well it was worth a try. |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 2, 2008, 11:27 pm |
Today a new TV arrived! We were all excited to see who it was.....It was Vicky Mouseham. She is a shopaholic and proud of it! I think her and our host will get along just fine. |
Michele_one_L Posted Sep 2, 2008, 11:59 pm |
This evening we took a ride to Syracuse, NY. Our host was having an item held at the Yankee Candle in the mall so she had to go pick it up. But first we had to go to the gas station, then we hit the road. Syracuse is about 45 minutes to an hour from Rome so the ride was a little long and boring. We had to pay the toll before we could get off the Interstate. |

Today another TV arrived! We were excited to see a new face. Everyone tried to guess as to who it might be....no one got it right. It was none other than Crocs! |

This evening we went to the drive in. Michele said that the drive in was closing for the season on Monday, September 1st and that we had better go before then. Tonight it was a triple feature although we only stayed for two movies. First we saw Kung Fu Panda then we saw Wall E. It was so much fun!!! |

Today we said goodbye to Jimbo Elephant. He had to continue his journey on the USA TVT. We gathered around his travel envelope to say our goodbyes. |

As sad as this may be, my trip to NY has come to an end also... I was hoping to return home soon, but I'm going to make another stop. I wished my new friends well and told them all to behave. |
