I arrived safely in New York this moring. It was a bumpy ride from Florida and I am happy to be out of my envelope. I'll post some pictures of my arrival later tonight. I have a busy day planned trying to get to know all of the TV's here.

I arrived at Michele's house this morning. I was happy to be out of the mail man's bag and somewhere warm. The weather here is different than the weather in Florida. It may take some getting used it. Awaiting me was Fuzzy Wuzzy, Coco, JamaBanaDukLuv, Angus and Coop. I was told that there are 2 other TV's here too but that they are feeling under the weather. Maybe I'll meet them later. In the mean time I'm going to get to know everyone else.

This evening we went with Michele and Daryl to take Riley to Petsmart. The weather was terrible! It was raining so hard that we didn't dare get out of Michele's bag. Michele and Daryl decided that it was getting late and that neither of them wanted to cook tonight. So they decided to pick up subs from the local sub shop called "Big Daddy Subs." It smelled real good when they got back in the car. We all wondered what they had in the bag.

We got home from running errands and we were all ready for dinner. Thank goodness Michele and Daryl had picked up subs! There were 2 different subs for us to choose from, Ham and Cheese or Tuna. Coco, Angus and I chose to eat the Tuna. There was also a pickle that Coco cut up for everyone to share. Yumm.......

After dinner JamaBana and Hazle wanted to meet Honey Bear and Piggy (they are Michele's at home TV's). So we all went down the hallway to Michele's room where they were staying. We climbed up on the bed and saw that Honey Bear was hiding. JamaBana was brave and said "Hello Honey Bear! My name is JamaBanaDukLuv and I will be staying at your house for a few weeks." There was no answer...So I decided to try, she said "Hello Honey Bear! My name is Hazle and I have come to stay at your house for a little while." There still was no answer....Someone yelled for Michele to see what was wrong with Honey Bear.

It turns out that Honey Bear was a little nervous to meet the new TV's. After Michele talked to him, he stopped hiding and came to greet everyone. We posed for a picture and sat around talking for the rest of the night.

With the help of Michele's friend Laura we rescued some animals from the Goodwill. Here we are with our new friends. Some of them Michele is going to keep and some she is going to find new homes for. We were inspired by Nicki Bear and BunTraveler's rescue last week.

This afternoon Honey Bear asked if we could meet him in the bedroom at 4pm for a special meeting! We were anxious to find out what Honey Bear was going to tell us. 4pm came and we met in the bedroom, we were surprised to find that Honey Bears friends were there too. We thought, this must be some announcement!

Once we arrived to the bedroom we each found a place to sit. Now we just had to wait for Honey Bear to tell us why we have all gathered here. Honey Bear came out and said;
"I want to thank everyone for coming to my meeting today. It's great to see everyone again. I'm sure you are all wondering why I've asked you to come here today. Well I'm having a teddy bear party in a few days and I would like to invite everyone to it."
The crowd erupted in cheer! WOW, a teddy bear party! What an honor to be invited. Of course we told Honey Bear that we would be there. I wonder how many of his friends will be coming? He sure does have a lot of friends.  Michele asked everyone to squeeze in close so she could take a picture of us.

Today Fuzzy Wuzzy left on a special mission to Florida. He was asked if he wanted to join the USA TVT for a month. Of course he jumped at the chance! So we said our goodbyes and off he went....

Yay! Today we attended Honey Bear's Teddy Bear party/picnic. We went to the picnic spot to find Honey Bear waiting us. He had the Teddy Bear Picnic song playing. We decided to play bobbing for gummi bears first. Angus went first and I think he got a little too carried away. Next was my turn, I was a little too small so Angus helped give me a little boost. After everyone had taken a turn Honey Bear decided that he would dump the bowl of gummi bears on the table. Michele told him that it wasn't going to be a good idea but he did it anyhow. We all dove into the pile of gummi bears! It was fun....and no one was hurt!

After we cleaned up all the gummy bears, Honey Bear set up his tea set for us. Michele brought us some teddy bear shaped cookies and tea. Not everyone wanted tea so some had milk. We sat around talking and enjoying our snack. We told Honey Bear that maybe next time he can have his tea party in the park! He thought it was a good idea but said that it's too cold outside right now to do something like that.

Some of us were getting sleepy, this was more fun then we've had in awhile. Honey Bear said that before we go he has a surprise for everyone. We had no idea what it could be! He left and came back, when he came back he had these bags with him. We asked "what are these?" Honey Bear said these are goody bags and I made them special for everyone coming to my party. WOW! That was very thoughtful of Honey Bear. We couldn't wait to see what's inside of them. Michele says that she will send them home to our mom's when we are ready to leave her home.

Today Coop and Coco left us! We were sad to see them go...We have become close to both of them. We sat around and talked about all of the special times we had. Who knows maybe we will see one another again someday. Good Luck Coop and Coco!

We were surprised by the arrival of a new TV today! Her name is Wolletje, she's a cute little black sheep. Michele helped her out of her travel envelope and right away she started to talk with us. We sat together and introduced ourselves then posed for a group picture. Wolletje said she was tired from her long trip and needed to take a nap.

Today we all got up early because we were going to spend the day with Michele's sister Jessica. She lives 1.5 hours East of Rome in Schenectady, NY. We were tired so we cuddled together in Michele's back and slept on the way there.

Our first stop was to Krause's Candy Shop! It smelled so good in the shop, it was almost like a dream. It was very busy as Easter is coming, so we didn't get out of Michele's bag. Which is probably a good thing. We helped Michele pick out some chocolate bunnies for her brother and step father. Of course we didn't leave there empty handed.

Next we went to Jo-Ann Fabrics and Target. Michele and her sister were looking for yarn and thread for bracelets at Jo-Ann's. Who knows what they were looking for at Target. It was really busy and we couldn't find a good parking places. We had to keep riding around until we found one.

After Jo-Ann Fabrics and Target we went to Petco. Michele was looking for some treats for Riley that she can't find where she lives. We were afraid to get out of Michele's bag, it smelled in there. And we could hear birds singing. Luckily she quickly found what she was looking for and we were out of there. Now we are headed back to Jessica's house.

Once we returned to Jessica's we had some lunch and took a short nap. We were all tired from all of the running around we did. After our nap we helped dye Easter eggs! Michele said we could each have one egg to dye, we were so excited. It was fun but messy! Michele's husband Daryl had butterfingers and kept dropping his eggs.

We returned to Michele's house late last night. We were all so tired so we went right to bed! This morning we woke up and were told that we were going to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. It was really busy in the store, thank goodness we had a list and knew what we were getting. On the way out we decided to ride in the shopping cart back to the car.

We were bored tonight and asked Michele if we could watch a DVD. She said of course and that she had the perfect DVD for us to watch. To our surprise it was Disney's 101 Dalmatians. We were so excited! She asked if we wanted to share a snack before the movie. Of course we do! Michele brought us two boxes of girl scout cookies, Lemon Chalets and Tagalongs. Yummy.....

After we were done eating Michele told us to go get into bed and get ready for the movie. We all rushed to the bedroom and got into her bed. She didn't know it but we were going to make this a sleepover. Michele tucked us in and turned the movie on. Yay, we were so excited!

Today we went with Michele and her husband to get their taxes done. We were excited to get out of the house but Michele and Daryl didn't seem to be too happy. We don't know what taxes are but from what we told we were happy that we don't have to do them. We stayed in Michele's bag so we didn't get in the way. It was VERY quite in the office, we didn't know if it was good or bad. Almost 2 hours later we returned to the car. We can only guess that things went okay in there because there was no screaming or crying.

After going to H & R Block we took a trip to BJ's Warehouse Club. Michele said she had to pick up a few things before going home. This place was huge!!! This place is a little different then shopping at the grocery store. It seems as though everything comes in large quantities. WOW! We looked around the store and found what we were looking for. We checked out then headed home.

We woke up this morning and found that the Easter bunny came last night! We were so excited to see that he left something for each of us.  Too bad we couldn't meet the Easter bunny! Michele was surprised to see that the Easter bunny left us stuff as well. She said that we must have been good Little TV's this year.

We took a quick trip to Walmart today to pick up some travel envelopes for JamaBanaDukLuv and Angus. Both will be leaving soon to visit with some new hosts.

Since JamaBanaDukLuv and Angus are leaving tomorrow, Michele thought it would be nice to have once last treat. Wolletje, Angus and I shared some vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. It was delicious! JamaBana shared a.........banana split with Michele's husband. It looked yummy!

Today was a sad day, JamaBanaDukLuv and Angus both left. We were sad to see them go as we had spent a lot of fun times together. They said their goodbyes and promised to keep in touch. Who knows maybe we will meet each other again someday.
Have a safe trip JamaBana and Angus! We will miss you!

After we dropped JamaBanaDukLuv and Angus we went with Michele to the doctors. She had never been to this doctor before, so we were all surprised to see this big airplane across the street from the office. After her appointment we went to see what it was.

We learned that it was a B52 Bomber plane (a real one). It's there because that is the home of Griffiss Air Force Base. We weren't able to check it out today but Michele said we will research it online to learn more. We got back into the car and headed for the meat market/deli.

We were quite surprised that two new TV's arrived today! Wolletje and I thought we would be here alone for awhile. That's okay the more the merrier. In one envelope was Nicki Bear and in the other envelope was Winnie the Pooh.

This evening we went with Michele and her husband to take their dog Riley for a walk. On our walk we saw a cool tree that we wanted to climb. Michele helped us up and we posed for a picture. The neighborhood was boring and we didn't see much else.  Michele said we will see some interesting things later in the week.

After our walk we decided to rest on the steps in front of Michele's apartment building. It was nice because the sun was starting to set. As it got darker we were told to come inside. First we needed to check the mailbox to see if Michele forgot to pick up the mail. It was empty!

A new TV arrived today! It's a little puppy named Little Billy. He told us that he was just on vacation in South Africa. We were anxious to learn more about his trip.

This afternoon we were looking for something to do when we saw there was a puzzle on the table. We got the box open and decided to put it together. It was harder then you would think! Winnie the Pooh, Little Billy and I decided to dig for pieces while Nicki Bear and Wolletje put it together. After hours of work all we were able to put together was the border. Michele was so happy with our hard work! She said that she will help us put the rest of the puzzle together.

Michele was so happy that we put the border to her puzzle together, she decided to reward us with some ice cream! It's called Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough by Ben & Jerry's. Too bad we have to share!

Tonight for dinner we are making calzones! Michele cheated and bought premade dough. She says it's easier and not so messy. First we had to cut the dough ball in half, then we had to flatten it out. It's not as easy as you would think it is. We got some holes in our dough but Michele said she could make it work.

Next we put a layer of ricotta cheese on half of the dough. On top of the ricotta cheese we put cooked bacon. Michele told us that you can use whatever kind of toppings you want. She said some people like veggies, pineapple, ham, olives and lots of other stuff. After we put the bacon on we put a good layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Michele said you can never have enough cheese. The last step is to fold the dough over and "close" the seams. Daryl put the calzones on the baking pan then brushed them with a little olive oil and in the oven they went!

About 30-40 minutes later the calzones are ready! We got a big plate for us to share. Be careful, it's HOT!

Today Michele took us on a drive through Rome so we could see some of it's history. Our first stop was to the Sears Service Station. Michele didn't know too much about the station so she looked it up online. She told us "The Sears Oil Company was founded in 1913 and the newly restored station was originally constructed in 1930. The gas station stopped operating and has been vacant since 1974. In 2002, restoration began and its conversion into a museum of Sears' history began. The museum will include on display restored antique pumps and a variety of artifacts inside the building. The pumps feature glass globes on top and the reproduction of side billboards were installed to complete the project. The museum, with free admission, may appear small in size, but will highlight vast memories of a much simpler, by gone era."

Next we saw a War Memorial in the center of town. The memorial says "In loving memory of all Romans who served our country in the cause of freedom." Michele said that it was built to thank all of the men and woman from Rome who have served in the military.

We visited one last monument before returning to Michele's house. Sadly Michele can't remember what the monument is for so she said she'll research it and tell us about it later.

Today was my last day in New York! Mister P. Tom and I are headed to Germany. We said good bye to all of the friends made. They wished us well and said that maybe we'll meet again someday.

Good morning Mom :-) Finally me and Mr. P Tom arrived in Germany. WOW, that was a long journey. We feared, we will never come out of the envelope. But finally we are here and we are fine, so far. The first guy we met, was Horst, a little toycow. He told us, he is waiting every day, that his girlfriend Bertha, another toyvoyager, wants to come back to him. But he likes us as well and showed us everything. The other guy who lives here, is Harley, a big black cat. First we scared, because he is so much bigger than us, but then we found out, he is lazy and prefers to sleep all day long.
Katrin is the nice host of us, she's got a daughter named Jessica, which is in 7nd grade in school and is a ballett dancer as well. She promised us, to take us with her to see her dancing soon. But today we were so tired and so Katrin showed us a very comfortable place to sleep. Mr. and Mrs. Pocket, 2 dolls, they live in Jessy's doll house, decited to make a hotel out of her home now, because so much toy voyagers plan to come here. We had a big room for us and started jumping on the beds. Mr. and Mrs. Pocket made a nice dinner for us and tomorrow we plan to have a party with them. They said good weather, so maybe we can play in the pool. Now we are tired and want to go into our bed. Greetings from Hazel and Mr. Peep Tom.

Today it we made something special. Katrin and Jessy wanted to bake a cake. So we decited to help. She asked us, what kind of cake do we want, and Mr. P Tom and me wanted a chocolate cake. It was exciting, to see how to make a dough out of a simple baking mix. Oh, and it tasted so good!!! Later we tried and it was very delicious! Then we played string games with Jessy, because she felt a little sick today. Tomorrow we will have a big campfire and meet the neighbours. It seems to stay exiting here.

Yesterday a new TV arrived. It is a turtle named Sunset Sea. She is on her very first vacation and comes from Virginia.
Last night we went to a campfire party with friends. Wow, it was a cool. We had beer and fun. The fire was soo high and hot. We were hide in Martina's jacket because we scared to get burned. We stayed awake until 2 am. Then we were so tired, that we slep until 10.

This weekend we went to Dresden and Radebeul. It was the longest day that I ever had in my life. We visited the city and the wine country, the townhall with the Golden Man on the top, went to a Western Festival and so much more. I brought you a postcard from there and will send it out on Monday. You will like it. We also did a tour with an original small track train. That was soooo cool!
In Dresden I made one of my life missions complete and drank my first Hazlenut flavored cappucchino. Wow was that good. And such a big cup only for me alone!!!

boooohhh, we scared to death. Today we made a walk and a big tiger jumped out of the bush!!!. Aaaaaahhh!!!!!! We screamed and running away to try to hide. He tried to talk to us in french and then we found out, it is Philéas, another toy voyager who arrived today. Thank God, he didn't want to eat us. He is more a nature freak! Katrin got a special welcome dish from the Indian restaurant. We had some special cheese in a sauce with rice and different kinds of sauces and chutney. We also had indian bread

Dear Mom, sorry that we had no updates a whole week long. Katrin's camera was out of order, but we are all fine! :-) Yesterday Jessy had her birthday party for her 9th birthday and we went to a bowling center with some of her classmates were we had a lot of fun. We did a cellphone picture, so the quality isn't not so clear, that's why we kept it small. Also a new Toy Voyager arrived yesterday. His name is Shaun. He is bigger than all of us, so it's getting kind of full here now. Haha
