looduslaps Posted Mar 31, 2008, 5:16 pm	Today we said our goodbyes and off my AstroDuck was. On his very first adventure, aheading to the Netherlands, where he´s going to meet Tristan and all kinds of interesting places!!! I´ll miss you and hope you will have tons of fun, AstroDuck!!!
Tristan Posted Apr 13, 2008, 1:07 pm	Hi! Finally here I am with an update! Wendy's son Tristan had surgery so it was kind of a hectic time! But here I am, in Holland. Pitzelpats Welcomed me We ate a Dutch meal, called: Boerenkool met Worst. I really liked it!! We also got a really nice yoghurt afterwards And this morning we ate bread with peanutbutter! Yummie!!!! And now I am updating so you can see a little of the things I have done here This week we are going to take some pictures outside and see some nice things here in Alkmaar! And when Tristan is better we will go the cheesemarket on friday! I am really looking forward to it! Lots of love and kisses AstroDuck
Tristan Posted Apr 17, 2008, 10:24 am	Hi!! Here's a new update from me! I am really having fun in the netherlands. Today Wendy, Dylan and another couple took us out for a bowlignight in Uitgeest! We had big fun there! Here we are waiting for our turn to throw the ball This photo is a little vage, but it whas the meaning that you'ld see the ducks in the background Entering the names Pitzelpatz and I became god friends! We hugged for a strike!!! Suzanne got the ball for us and we rolled it, we threw a strike!!!!! My lucky ball! Maybe it's a little to heavy for me.... Pitzelpatz came to help me! And here I am resting between the bowlingballs! It was great fun at Bob's Duck bowling! I'll talk to you again very soon! Much love and kisses, AstroDuck p.s. miss you!
Tristan Posted Apr 17, 2008, 4:03 pm	Hi! Here I am with another update. Today we went to a windmill museum in a little village called Groot Schermer. There are 3 old mills next to each other and one of them is in use as a museum. My hosts drove the wrong way at first so i could see a lot of the dutch landscape! This is a small village called Edam Finally we arrived at the mill! This is the informationboard in front of the museum This is how they build a mill Here I am in a wooden shoe! It was a bit to big for me! Here  I am with Pitzelpatz on a watercarrier Here we are inside the mill. This is an old dutch bed in a kind of closet. It's really small but this is where the adults slept. We also dicided to take a little rest. Here I am in the top of the mill We wanted to take a picture of the vieuw from the top of the mill, but the sails got in frot of it all the time. This is the old shed what belongs with the mill Here I am with Tristan and Pitzelpatz in the dooropening of the mill It was really cool to see a mill from the inside. Wendy and Tristan also hadn't seen it before! I also bought you a little souvenir witch i will send to you later this week! Big hugs and kisses, AstroDuck
Tristan Posted Apr 21, 2008, 3:45 pm	Hi there! Today we went to the beach and to the forest. We took a 3 hours long walk! The weather was really nice today. We had a clear sky, a lot of sun but also a lot of wind. We hope the weather will stay like this, so we can visit the cheesemarket next friday! This is the shoppingstreet of Bergen Here we are driving in one of the most expensive streets in the Netherlands, it is the most expensive street in Bergen. It's a pitty that we couldn't get the houses on the picture, there were to many trees! Here we are at the beach!! We saw a fishersboat in the see, nearby the windmills There was a lot of wind! Here we are in the forest! This is a very nice spot where you can see al the way to Alkmaar. This is an open spot in the forest, it was really nice and warm here and there was no wind at all! This was a very nice place to see That was my update for today, now I am going to eat Lasagna, and then i will go to bed, i am really tired now! Kisses, AstroDuck
