My oh my what an exciting few days we've had! Jacob's been asking for over a week to go to the "up down" (ferris wheel) so we decided to go there on Wednesday. Here I am there!

That's the China Sea behind me and American Village

I also got to look around the house some more, can you spot me in the boys' room with all the toys?

On Friday we went to a good-bye party held on the beach. I took a chance to relax

Here's the beach at Torii Beach

Here I am in the sand. Isn't the water beautiful?

I hope to write more later! For now good night.

What an exciting day we had! First we had to welcome fellow toyvoyager Hugme! This is Hugme's first stop.
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_2371.jpg

Then we had to go to work blowing up balloons and hanging up streamers. It took awhile because we had to be very quiet not to wake up the children who were napping
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_2374.jpg

Finally we got it all decorated up!
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_2375.jpg

And perfect timing too, the birthday boy woke up just a few minutes later. Happy Birthday Cristiano!

And we all got to have some yummy cookie-cake!

Today it was very hot out so we decided to go somewhere to cool down! About a half hour from Jayme's home is the Kurasaki Dam. Its very popular in the summer time for everyone to come splash around in and her kids like it a lot!
Here we are in front of the dam
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_2466.jpg

We were standing on some 'stepping stones' (or at least that's how the kids use them!)

May daycares bring the children here to play, and they all wear color coded hats to keep the sun off their face and necks. It makes them easier to spot too!

My oh my its been awhile since I wrote anything in this log! Today I helped get the kids to the waterpark. Playing in the water is always fun, right?

This took quite some effort to blow up!
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_1154.jpg

And here's part of the kiddie pool area! Jacob and Chris are afraid of the slides, but its fun to climb through the mist...
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_1156.jpg

Speaking of mist, this is the other part of the kiddie pool. Lots of mist!

http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_1161.jpg

And here are the regular water slides, though the kids are too little to go on them they loved looking at them and talking about going down
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_1163.jpg

Luv Leon and I chilled out while we watched all the children playing
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_1159.jpg

And then when it was time to go I had to go get Jacob because he just wasn't listening!

Today we took a very neat trip to a place called Okinawa World. Our trip started off in a cave, where we were supposed to be quiet...

This is a waterfall

http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_3681.jpg

It was a long walk! When it was all through we stopped for lunch and a walk through the village area. They had an area where glass was being made
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_3718.jpg

We also got to look down at a brewery
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/jaymestvs/IMG_3734.jpg

Finally we got to the exit and the Eisa Dancers. Eisa is a traditional dance to Okinawa. It was a very neat show to see!

More adventures soon!
