Today I´ve been to the first time to a museum! =) I went with my mum to the MUMOK (Museum of Modern Art) in Vienna. =)

Here you can see me sitting on a Enzi in the middle of the "Museumsquatier". My mum told me that those coaches´re called Enzis, but she can´t remember why they´re called like that.
You can see a lot of people chilling on them. =)

Hello :)!

As you can see, I was welcomed with a lei. They helped me to make it around myself. It was smelling so nice. But now BlackCat has it in use again. Here are a lot other ToyVoyagers!
Wauzi, Momo (both from BlackCat), Hurley, Nicki Bear and Titch. But some of them will travel on soon. But I hope we will have a great time together.

I am okay :)! You can see now :)!

Hey :),

it was such a bad weather that we decided to watch a movie. Our choice was the Simpsons movie and it was so funny. My favourite part was the part with the spider pig. I am still singing the song :)!

Have a nice day,

Hey mum,

today we went with BlackCat after her work. It was a nice walk around the part of Essen where she is working.

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/oceania87/TV/2409/240908_4.jpg
That's the look on the highway which is called "A 40" in Essen. It is a highway which is going through the Ruhr area. There is always a lot of traffic and at the rush hours there is always a traffic jam.

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/oceania87/TV/2409/240908_24.jpg
That is me in front of the water tower in Huttrop. It was half rebuilt after the second world war and now there is the "Tafel" - a social activity, where people without money can get food really cheap.

And then we went to Steele :)! Will make a new Update for it :)!

today the weather was still fantastic and we took a walk in the forrest.

We started our trip in Remscheid-Hasten, one of the oldest districts of Remscheid. Soon we reached the border of the muncipal area.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3047/2960585361_b6aa4a499c.jpg?v=0

We planned to walk to Wuppertal-Cronenberg. Wuppertal is the neighbour town of Remscheid. To get there we had to cross a valley and walk up steep uphill through the forrest.

We rested on a bench and enjoyed the sun.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3161/2958470719_939fcae04f.jpg?v=0

The next rest took place on a barrier.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3018/2959314582_664db4674b.jpg?v=0

We walked through a small hamlet, containing about six old houses. There were still  flowers blooming in the gardens. I loved them. I am afraid that these are the last flowers for a few months.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3016/2960585567_e252c8b778.jpg?v=0

There were roses and nasturtium.

A little fishing pond ...

and a cat that was in the mood for getting cuddled.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3163/2961427670_4202cc413c.jpg?v=0

This little house is even situated alone in the middle of the forrest, like a whitchhouse in a fairy tale.

Later we had to cross a creek, there was no bridge, we had to climb and jump over stones. For me it was easy of course because I can fly.

Hi Mummy,

after some rainy days we took a walk through the muncipal park to an old district of Remscheid, Hasten. First I had a look at some nice old houses in the vicinity of my current home.

Here you can see the observatory, located at the entrance of the muncipal park.

Hi Mummy,
today we took a walk in Wuppertal-Beyenburg. Wuppertal is one of the neighbour towns of Remscheid. Beyenburg is a very old district, located at the river Wupper. In former times they had many dye works and weaving mills in Wuppertal along the river Wupper.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3187/2998456503_60a1ab4ae4.jpg?v=0

First we wallked through the forrest.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3180/2999296410_5191e01074.jpg?v=0

Here you can see a papermill, also located at the river Wupper. They are producing wall papers here. Can you see the weir?

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3051/2998457063_3b7ccf9d22.jpg?v=0

Later we saw this fly agaric in the forrest.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3018/2998457297_27c824b9ed.jpg?v=0

I also want to show you the "Schwebebahn" of Wuppertal. Schwebebahn is a suspended monorail, travelling about 12 metres above the surface of the river Wupper, about 8 metres above the streets. At one point the railway crosses a motorway.

Hi Mummy,
we helped Katja to make christmas decoration. We made paper stars, they are called "Froebelstern" in German. These stars were created by the German educator Friedrich Froebel who lived from 1782 until 1852 A.D.

These stars are made of paper stripes. They are only folded, you don't need any glue.

You begin with four long stripes, each folded in the middle.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3290/3021310313_2014c8b899.jpg?v=0

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3288/3021310441_68906fcd48.jpg?v=0

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3148/3022142808_7cac0b610b.jpg?v=0

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3027/3021310653_3b7dcb4503.jpg?v=0

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3291/3022143134_c98fc0756e.jpg?v=0

In the end you have to cut off the remains of the stripes.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/3021311025_0f7cd353bf.jpg?v=0

Hi Mummy,
we visited a museum in Ratingen today. We met three friends in Wuppertal to go to Ratingen by train.

Katja's friend made a mistake when she wrote an e-mail with the time of the train departure. We were there an hour earlier than the two other friends which we wanted to meet in Wuppertal. But that did not matter - we went into the town centre and bought a few postcards.

Here we are at the central train station.

Close to the train station there is a building with two large lions statues at the main entrance.

I saw the Schwebebahn again!

Then it was time to go to the train.

We visited an exhibition showing handbags in the Rheinisches Industriemuseum (Rhineland Museum of the Industry) which is a decentralized museum with six locations in Rhineland. We visited the Textilfabrik Cromford (Cromford spinning mill) in Ratingen.

Unfortunately it was not allowed to take photos there unless you assured that you would not sell or publish them. It was too dark to take photos anyway. This was important because they showed many really old handbags and also suitcases.

It was very interesting. The four ladies are all at least 40 years old and I heard them laugh and scream sometimes "Oh, look at this, I also had the same bag 20 years ago!" and "Oh, how cute" and so on.

We had a cup of coffee in the museum's café.

After visiting the museum we took the bus into the town centre of Ratingen. They have a really nice old town there.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3165/3037399169_66a07e7b25.jpg?v=0

We had pizza here!

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3286/3037399009_973bf8ff0a.jpg?v=0

On the farmer's market I saw this cute "Erdbär", or in English "Strawbeary".

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3031/3038238540_6807a1ba2b.jpg?v=0

On a fountain in front of the town hall they had nice symbols for the different districts of Ratingen. I liked this deer.

It was a pity that the weather was so bad.

We went home by train than.

Hi Mummy,
today we took a short walk through the town centre although the weather is really bad.

On the space in front of the town hall this year's christmas market will take place. They started to build the little houses in which nice things will be sold. The large white thing will be a skating rink.

This is one of the entrances to the shopping mall.

Here you can see the theatre. It was restaured a few years ago in its originall fifty-years-style.

... the shopping street ...

... and one more entrance of the shopping mall. Can you see the pillar in the foreground? A large roof made of little lamps is installed there. When it's dark it must look beautiful.

These giant forceps are marking the entrance to the shopping street. The forceps are a symbol for the local tool industry.

And here again the town hall. Our lunch break will end soon and we'll have to go back to the office.

Hi Mummy,
it's snowing here! It already started yesterday with a heavy storm which destroyed some of the booths of the christmas market. Now the whole space is roped in by the police.

In the later afternoon it was getting colder and the falling rain turned into snow.

Today we all took a look out of the kitchen window.

Hi Mummy,
the snow is already melting away. The whole town is hiding under fog and drizzle. Nobody wants to go out and show me more of the town. I had  a look outside and decided to stay in Katja's bag.

Hey Mummy !
Today is Estonia 91th b-day,in many houses we saw flags and on one pic you see also me with Estonia flag.
This year it is also same day with "Vastlapäev "(shrow Tuesday ) ,but not always. This day people go sledging, and who makes the longest slide, this person get longest flaxs, old estonians believed it.Nowadays people still go sledging, but maybe they don't believe it to much, cos they don't grow flax.
This day people eat tradional food peasoup, trotters  and with  special cream bun.
It's quite old tradition, even Mari's great-great-grandmother celebrated it,but only beliefs are changed and nowadays it had changed more modern.. like persons go snowboarding.. and do other things..

I had so fun to sledge and we saw there so many people  :P
I had fun !!

Hello! I've finally arrived in Russia. It was very long trip, and I was a bit tired. But I’ve found some honey which returned my strength. The weather is wonderful, and I’m going to walk around.

Hello!
This weekend I spent in Veliky Novgorod. It is among the most ancient cities among the Eastern Slavs. The Novgorod Kremlin also contains the oldest palace in Russia; the oldest Russian bell tower, and the oldest Russian clock tower. St Sophia Cathedral is the best preserved of 11th century churches, probably the oldest structure still in use in Russia.
I like Novgorod very much! This day was the first day with summer weather and I’ve found first flowers!

Today we went to Viborg. It is known as one of the largest historical towns in Russia. The history of the town began with the construction of a castle in 1293 by Swedish. We were walking in that castle and get up to the tower.

Hi!
How are you? I spent a day in Stockholm.
We drive a car from St.Petersburg (Russia) to Helsinki (Finland), it was more than 500 km. Then we ferried to Stockholm, a capital of Sweden. The weather was terrible, it was raining all day long. I saw a lot of sight-seeings, but my camera broke down and I have only few photos.

Hello!
Sorry I haven't written so long. I have a great time here.
I was in Peterhof this weekend. This is the suburb of Sait-Petersburg. A series of palaces and gardens, laid out on the orders of Peter the Great, and sometimes called the "Russian Versailles", is also situated there. And it is so beutiful! I hope that you'll see it one day.
