hello there!

usually, i motivate miss agi to keep on working hard on her master thesis at her study.

but today i suggested her to work at the library.
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 7:17 pm
acutally i wanted to cycle to the library by myself... but my legs are to short  :( so i jumped in miss agi's huge pocket and let her do the cycling ;)
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 7:24 pm
on the way we passed a small river called the Wümme. i jumped out of miss agi's pocket and wanted to take a bath :p but then i remembered that i wanted to help miss agi to keep on working
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 7:29 pm
after i made sure miss agi was working i jumped around the book shelves and checked out what all this book are about
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 7:40 pm
i found some cool comic books and books about comics. WoW! if i ever make a degree i want to study comic books :D
i found Spider man! cool! and i also found some comics in foreign languages... but i didn't understand anything :(
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 7:52 pm
that was fun spending a day in the library!
i wonder where miss agi will take me tomorrow :D
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 8:04 pm
today miss agi wanted to show me Hamburg. i never traveled on a train before! how exciting! i had my own seat but from there i couldn't see anything :( so i jumped up the litter bin and had a perfect view out of the window :)
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 8:11 pm
WoW! the soo many trains! the station in Hamburg is soo huge!
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 8:14 pm
i thought miss agi would show me Hamburg but instead miss agi and her friend went shoe shopping... :stare:
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 8:29 pm
but in the end i got to know miss agi's friend's rate Gemma. i never was so close to a real animal. but it was very nice  :)
miss agi

Posted Sep 15, 2009, 8:37 pm
today i helped miss agi to post her postcrossing postcard. i jumped up the postbox. WoW! it was not so easy as i thought. but i made it :D
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 8:58 pm
after i failed cycling with miss agi's bike i tried to drive a car  B) but again my legs are too short :(
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:10 pm
on today's agenda was a little sight-seeing tour in Bremen.
for example i got to know the world famous  Bremen town musicians.
i felt soo small next to them... so i tried to jump on the top of the rouster... but instead on the top i ended up in the donkey's mouth :( he was so cheeky and bit me into my small froggy  :o

miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:17 pm
after i managed to free myself i visited Roland, Bremen's statue of liberty. Roland is huge too.... but he is very friendly  :)
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:26 pm
than i jumpt over to Neptun the king of the ocean's... well in Bremen he is only a statue, too BUT he stands in the middle of a fountain. YuuPy lots of water :D
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:33 pm
there is another interesting fountain close to Neptun. first i thought it is a globe... but somehow... well, look yourself...  i met some interesting people there:)
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:38 pm
i thought walking through Bremen in company of miss agi's boy friend would mean no shopping  ;) but hey... he is interested in shoes, too :stare:
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:44 pm
my last stop at this sight-seeing tour were some pigs  :D again some statues. but miss agi promised me to show real pigs in the park very soon :)
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 9:59 pm
today i jumpt over to the river Weser. it is much bigger than the Wümme. and there are some huge ships.
miss agi

Posted Sep 20, 2009, 10:02 pm
you also can watch beautiful sun sets there  hmmm, if i only had a cutty froggy princess i could watch the sun set togehter...
miss agi

Posted Sep 22, 2009, 6:16 am
today we were out in Bremen's quarter Viertel. that is actually where miss agi lives. we went out for a coffee and a tea at a nice tea store. the drinks tooked and tasted very yummy.
miss agi

Posted Sep 22, 2009, 6:24 am
i also had lots of fun jumping around the shop. the tea shop owner liked me very much  :cyclops: so i was even allowed to jump into a huge tea box  :p and i met new friends there.
miss agi

Posted Sep 23, 2009, 9:21 pm
today i wanted to help miss agi with winning the lottery jackpot. i was her good froggy fairy  :D she allowed me to make the crosses on the ticket  :D sooo many numbers. it wasn't easy to decide :stare:
miss agi

Posted Sep 23, 2009, 9:30 pm
after this really hard mission i jumped around in the lottery shop. there was a shelf full of sweets  :D in one of the boxes i found a kind of frog swamp. i tried to rescue those sweet little fellows... but the shop owner didn't let them go  and miss agi didn't want to pay their head money :( it was an aweful feeling to leave them there  :stare:
miss agi

Posted Oct 1, 2009, 7:36 pm
oh! miss agi got a terrible cold! that is terrible... because she promised me to join her to costa rica in only a few days. but if she is sick... :o
well, i decided to care for her so she will get better soon!  :) i got lots of medicin.

miss agi

Posted Oct 1, 2009, 7:44 pm
i put miss agi into bed, and asked some of my mates here at home to look after her. here you see senor rio and noah, miss agi's stay-at-home-soft toy friends. they are both cats. but i get along with them very well. i got miss agi some hankies and a book about costa rica  :) and look, i will probably meet some interessing frogs there! i have to ask them, where they got their colourful dress from :D
miss agi

Posted Oct 1, 2009, 7:54 pm
while senor rio (the cheeky white-and-black one) and noah (the moony yellow one) checked that miss agi stayed in bed, i prepared a fresh spear mint tea. hmmm... yummy! i am sure this way miss agi will get better soon!  ;)
miss agi

Posted Oct 1, 2009, 7:56 pm
tomorrow i will start to pack my and miss agi's big back pack! only a few days and i will go on my first real big journey!!!
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 6:49 pm
today i traveled from Bremen to miss agi's parents in Oerlinghausen. i spent the journey in miss agi's backpack :stare:but it was dark outside anyway so i didn't miss anything :)

somehow miss agi's forgot to get out of the train... and ended up in detmold instead of bielefeld...  :o it took us ages to get home...
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 7:03 pm
ooohh! today miss agi's parents took me to the forest. we've been mushroom picking! this seems to be favorite sport among polish people  :D look soo many different mushrooms!
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 7:07 pm
some mushroom are huge and others are very small. those for example look like daisies :) and under the other i tried to hide  :)
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 7:17 pm
and some mushroom grow on trees! wooow! if it started to rain i could use it as an umbrella:)
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 7:27 pm
i don't think those mushrooms were eatable :stare: but miss agi's parents showed me some yummy mushrooms :D
miss agi

Posted Oct 3, 2009, 7:32 pm
that is what we've found! and tomorrow we will have scambled eggs with fresh mushrooms :p
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 2:21 pm
our last day in montezuma :( tomorrow we are going to fly back to germany :stare:

while we were waiting for the bus in the shade suddenly some monkeys turned up. that was pretty cool :cyclops:

and look, even loony noah who has spend all the costa rica trip in bed waiting for us to return from our adventures came out of the backpack to have a look at the crazy monkeys :D
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 2:31 pm
that was really exciting to me small frog that real amimals came soo close up to me.

look, at breakfast this beautiful bird shared the table with me  :D fortuneatly, i have already finished my food... this bird was pretty cheecky and stole everyones food from the plate  :o
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 2:46 pm
after a long but beautiful journey back from montezuma to san jose we ended up at the airport.

my dear new friend mono begged me either to stay with him in costa rica or to take him with me to germany.

crazy monkey... leaving costa rica voluantary... i would love to stay... but i can't leave miss agi alone... i have to keep on supporting her with her master thesis!

so yeah... i hate to say goodbye... i actually can't do it... so i let mono jump into the backpack again and smuggled him on the plan.

miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 3:04 pm
wow! this journey took ages... timewise we have been flying from the future back into the past... time and space is something wired, really...

being still very exhausted and confused the first thing mono and me did was taking a bath for relaxation.  :)

that was fun. we slid down the bathtub again and again :D until we have been soaking wet. it was the first time in the water that mono was actually holding tight to me and not the other way around  B)
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 3:54 pm
that was nice. now we smell lovely like sweet peaches :) we wrapped up in a towel and enjoyed the golden autumn glow of the sun that shone into miss agi's room

it is soo unbelievable how different nature is here in germany from costa rica's nature. in costa rica everything was green. here in germany the trees start to lose their leaves which already have turned into a red, organe, yellow or brown colour.

and it is rather chilled here, too :o
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2009, 4:05 pm
today i wanted mono to show miss agi's parents' house.
on our way through the living room we met spikey. that is miss agi's brother's dog.

spikey was holding on to something... or rather to someone... i got alarmed straight away!!! it was a toy. more precisely: another frog :stare:

i had to resue him! so i approached carefully and asked mono to hide.

look what spikey, this toy tormentor, has done to the little froggy
miss agi

so, after so much time and action in cahuita we finally made our way back to the pacific coast. finally we would go to montezuma. it took us a whole day to travel from the caribean to the pacific coast. anyway, it was worth it  B)

for some change we didn't have to travel by bus all the way but took the ferry from puntarenas to paquera. i was very excited about taking the ferry  :p

but after all it started to rain so mono and me had to jump into the backpack again  :(
miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 1:51 pm
the weather didn't get better... the rain was soo loud, mono and me could hardly sleep and were very tired all day long  :(

was this montezuma's revenge?  :o

miss agi calmed me. i was mistaking the aztec king montezuma who lived around 1465-1521 and spoke a curse to the spanish conquerors. this here was a beautiful and peaceful place here, this montezuma.

so after the rain stopped we made a trip to the waterfalls. unforuneatly it was already kind of dark  :stare:

miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 6:55 pm
well, on this trip i haven't found my big love BUT a real friend!
and this is at least as good as finding a sweet-heart  :p
miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 7:12 pm
guess what - it rained all night long... and also most of the morning

but as soon it stopped pouring with rain we have been up for a mission again B)

we checked out the beach which was kind of different from the ones in samara and cahuita. the waves were more powerful. kind of perfect for going surfing?!

and imagine, we found another waterfall. this one was much nicer. the water was clear und fresh. it was spending some time there  :D
miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 7:41 pm
that afternoon miss agi got us a bike and we made a trip to cabuya. that is a village next to montezuma. on our way back home we stopped at mr. tico's place. we met him on our journey to montezuma. he was hotel- and cat-sitting and seemed like a nice person, so miss agi decided to leave mono and me with mr. tico.

he wasn't at home. only the two cats. so mono and me chilled out and waited on the table.

as soon as miss agi left, kitten, the female cat, got kind of crazy... i don't know how she managed since i held mono tide to me, but she kicked him down the table and catapulted him all over the floor. :o

i was kind of shocked and very scared :o but somehow kitten didn't pay any attention to me :stare:

anyway, when mr. tico came back he found this mess, rescued mono and took care of us :)

... unfortuneatly mr. tico doesn't have a camera so he couldn't document our time at his place  :(
miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 8:03 pm
the next day, mono and me tried to persuade mr. tico to teach us how to surf. but no way... he showed us in his room the right moves: how to get on a board and paddle out, how to stand up on the board in case we get a nice wave and how to move then. all very theoretical and dry

mono and me wanted to get into the sea :cyclops:

but no way... instead mr. tico showed us the crabs in the swimming pool and told us about his crazy idea to paint the hermit crabs shells beautifully with nail polish...  ;) well, we would have loved to help him doing so but he had no nail polish at hand

also he showed us the beautiful beach. WoooW! gorgeous! with three hammocks hanging between the palm trees! the ideal place for chilling!  B) i wished miss agi was there with us...

anyway, in the end mono and me seemed a little bit too hyper-active thus mr. tico returned us to miss agi.

as compensation for not having done anything with us mr. tico invited mono and me for some food and drink  :D

mono had some pineapple smoothie and me... well, i don't know... it was beer with lime and salt... and it tasted like the sea...

well, at least mr. tico let taste me the sea...

for food we had ceviche with lots of garlic and a sandwich with chicken. that was nice :)

miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 11:26 pm
after another sleepless night i jumped down to the living room this morning and couldn't believe what i had to witness  :o

spikey turtured soft toy frogs again!

this time i seriously had to tell spikey off! what is on his mind to turture soft toy frogs?

i talked spikey at his conscious and he finally surendered :cyclops:
miss agi

Posted Oct 31, 2009, 11:50 pm
then all of us sat together and had a emergency meeting.
what to do about that dog?

loco frogo suggested we should look for a safer place where spikey can't get us. he offert to give us a lift there :p

in the end spikey was totally devastated he could't reach us anymore  :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 1, 2009, 12:01 am
later that morning loco frogo sat down with me and told me old stories about miss agi and her brother. loco frogo is miss agi's brother's toy. it is now about 20 years that he stays with them. when they were kids and the family went on holidays miss agi's brother always put his game boy and all the games into loco frogs back. it is very cuddly in there  :D
loco frogo told me that he once was called froschi, too. so i am probably named after him  :) that is nice to know. loco frogo is a really nice guy :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 4, 2009, 6:18 pm
after so much singing and directing miss agi took me out on our last night in san jose.

miss agi

Posted Nov 4, 2009, 6:24 pm
at first we had some fancy dinner. there mr. e. taught me how to dance salsa. WooW! that was fun! finally i understood what miss agi is always on about when she talks about dancing :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 4, 2009, 6:34 pm
later, after the dancing lessons miss glori, our host, took us out to a nice bar where some of her friends already waited for us  :p

we had some lovely cocktails there :)
i had a mojito which kind of looked like the peper mint tea that i made for miss agi, lately. also i had a sex on the beach. a cherry was swimming in this cocktail. i'm not sure if this drink was so appropriate for me... since i haven't lost my cherry yet

(miss coco just told me that the cocktail with the cherry is a cosmopolitan. puch! well, this suits much better to me since i am a toyvoyager and thus some kind of cosmopolitan B) also i can keep my cherry a little longer to me  ;) )

anyway, cocktails are very jummy and the world looks so lovely and everythings seems so nice after some drinks ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 4, 2009, 6:46 pm
while the others kept on talking and drinking i jumped over to the pool table. that was fun, too. although the cue was huge i did very well in this game. i should hang around in bars and play pool more often! B)
miss agi

Posted Nov 6, 2009, 9:15 am
today miss glori and her mum took us to a market near the national museum.

they had nice things there! i also met many costa rican frogs  :) i wondered if one of them could show me around in this beautiful country. but they were only smiling friendly and didn't answer  :(

i jumpt a little further and met a bunch of monkeys. this time i was luckey :D one of them understood me and was willing to be my tour guide!

his name is mono. mono is a spider monkey with really long arms and a tail. he is a little slim but very strong  :p
miss agi

Posted Nov 6, 2009, 9:20 am
off we went. mono started the tour straight away beginning with the national theater. he showed me how to hang around in beautiful lamps and dance with golden angles. also we sneaked into the theater and watched a band rehearsing.
miss agi

Posted Nov 6, 2009, 9:24 am
spending time with mono was fun :D

i told him that i will have a concert this night so i need a break for a while. straight away he took me to the markethalls and invited me for a delicious refreshment. great
miss agi

Posted Nov 6, 2009, 9:36 am
the concert tonight! doesn't the choir look great?! all in black  B)

at first i only was listening to them singing so beautifully.

but suddenly i noticed that the conductor kind of was out of energie... he almost fainted  :o

since i rehearsed all the songs with the choir i simply took over B)

we got standing ovations and i was very proud of the choir. also the condutor was very thankful that i helped out  :cyclops:

you maybe know: frogs a very musical
miss agi

Posted Nov 6, 2009, 9:44 am
so, now we are back in Bremen.

miss agi took us to her friend miss coco. we will stay here for a while.

so mono and me had to check out her place.

and straight away we found a nice place to hang around...  ;)
miss agi

do you know the tale of st. martin?
well, he was a roman soldier, long, long time ago! once, on a cold winter's night he shared his fancy cape with a poor beggar and since that night st. martin is a role model for a helpful person.

so on st. martin's day children running around with colourful lamps, ringing at foreign people's door, singing st. martin's songs and get sweets. it is kind of like american halloween.

miss agi and her friends are all a bit out of the right age for doing this st. martin singing and asking for sweets... but anyway... she wanted to show mono and we, what it is like. also mr. héc an mexican guy, didn't know anything about this german custom, so he had to be introduced to this cultural event, too :)

so we walked through the park, all together, and have been singing very loudly:

durch die straßen auf und nieder,
leuchten die laterne wieder,
rote, grüne, gelbe, blaue,
lieber martin komm und schaue.

wie die blumen in dem garten,
blühn laternen aller arten,
rote grüne, gelbe blaue,
lieber martin komm und schaue.

or:

laterne, laterne,
sonne, mond und sterne.
gehe aus das licht, gehe aus das licht,
aber nur meine liebe laterne nicht,
laterne, laterne.

or alternativly:

ich geh mit meiner laterne und meine laterne mit mir,
dort droben leuchten die sterne und unten leuchten wir.
das licht geht aus, wir gehen nach haus,
rabimmel, rabammel, rabum, bumbum.
das licht geht aus, wir gehen nach haus,
rambimmel, rabammel, rabum, bumbum.

now it is already three days after we have arrived in costa rica. so far, miss agi has left me at home  :(

i was very pleased to hear that today we will make a trip to a volcano!  B) how exciting!

but when we arrived there you could see nothing :( it was sooo foggy

look at my eyes and fur: the air was extremly humid :o
miss agi

Posted Nov 12, 2009, 11:54 am
but i wanted to see the volcano! i insisted on waiting a little longer. you know i am a frog and frogs are not only good in singing but also in forecasting the weather  :D

and indeed, the longer we waited the better i could see the volcano! but it wasn't filled with red, hot lava but with green water :( it looked nice anyway and was worth waiting  :)

around the volcano there also have been lovely flowers and plant.

with the sun shining on me i looked like as if i had a halo of a saint. i felt like an angle :)
miss agi

Posted Nov 12, 2009, 11:59 am
at the volcano there was also this little cute animal running around. a coali, i think. as soon as he noticed me he started to show off and trying to get all the attention for himself :stare:

but no way. i am a lot of cuter than him  :p
miss agi

Posted Nov 12, 2009, 12:12 pm
another ordinary day in bremen... i wonder if mr. héc give me a call soon

while waiting for a message, mono and me jointed miss agi to university. now we both have to make sure miss agi gets her work done!

while she was busy we check out, what the others were working on. suddenly mono got very excited. a girl was writing her master thesis on costa rica. she told us that she has spend three months there to do some "field research" and learning about the identity of ticos and ticas.

miss agi

Posted Nov 19, 2009, 12:27 pm
it is almost like a magical trick.
as soon as you don't use the camara's flash, you only see the lamps floating through the darkness.

on this occation mr. héc told me that he is going on a holiday to las vegas very soon.  :cyclops:

at once i started to persuade him to let me join him!!! viva las vegas!  B)

mr. héc hesitated for a while. he actually doesn't like frogs :o

i tried to convince him that i am not an ordinary frog :p and maybe such a journey together with me would help him to overcome his problem with frogs  ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 19, 2009, 12:43 pm
this night miss agi promised me a surprise  we were going out in order to meet someone...

mono and me were allowed to order some hot chocolate topped with whipped cream! hhhmmmm, yuMMy!!! also we had these sweet, in custard swimming, something... also very delicious :p
miss agi

Posted Nov 19, 2009, 12:54 pm
suddenly mr. héc turned up! :o

i got very excited!!! does that mean that i am going on my next journey :p

of course... mono started to cry straight away  :stare:
i somehow couldn't calm him :( mono was crying a river...

... but, but, but... i am a toyvoyager... not a stay-at-home-toy...

i had to promise mono that he will join me on the next trip again  ;) and of course i will send him a postcard from everywhere i go  :)

miss agi

Posted Nov 19, 2009, 1:03 pm
so miss agi handed me over to mr. héc.

i made myself comfortable and checked out mr. héc pockets.

a last look and waving goodbye to miss agi, and then we disappeared in the darkness  B)

oh, i am soooo exited about my time with mr. héc!  :p
miss agi

Posted Nov 19, 2009, 7:04 pm
miss coco is a very nice host. look, she prepared us this great breakfast. only for mono and me :D hmmmmm. YummY
miss agi

Posted Nov 20, 2009, 9:56 am
since i am a very curious frog, mono and me had to check out miss coco's room  :p

we met this lovely chinese lady.

also we admired miss coco's beautiful orchid. miss agi already told us that her friend is very good in keeping orchids. the time mono and me have been in samara miss coco had birthday. so we got her a mini-orchid from costa rica as a present  :)
miss agi

Posted Nov 20, 2009, 10:03 am
because of her birthday miss coco had lots of sweets at home.

maybe you've already noticed that i have a sweet tooth :cyclops:

i couldn't overcome the temptation and had to try the chocolates... YummY!!!

"moving, keep on moving" this title of supergras describes perfectly what i am just experiencing with miss agi.

she said this is the best way to get me used to travelling and visit different places. i should understand moving with her as a training for my journey.

but hey, miss agi: i am a brave, adventurous frog! find yourself a home and let me travel abroad to exciting and exotic places, please! :cyclops:

so, today we arrived at miss paula's home. i know her already because we have been travelling in costa rica together :) we're doing some flat-sitting here while miss paula is on holiday.

she has a nice red sofa and lots of books thus mono and me made ourselves comfortable and i was reading aloud a story to mono.

we also checked out miss paula's plants... lucky plants that i have a green thumb
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 11:47 am
oooooHHHHHHH!!!!! today miss agi promised us to take mono and me to a television show. depending on our seats maybe we will be on telly tonight B)

okay... so of course mono and me have to look pretty handsome in order to increase the chance of being seen on telly. we have to go to the hair dresser's! ;)

at first i checked out the catalogs. i found a hair hairstyle. i am sure that will increase my coolness-factor B)

miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 11:56 am
than the hair dresser checked my fur... she actually found only one hair that was worth be working on... my precious golden hair...

before she was going to cut it off i had to take a seat as any regular customer in front of the mirrow.

ooooHHHH!!! it was so sad to see my golden hair on the floor :stare:
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 12:02 pm
now it was mono's turn. after checking the hair dresser's gear i decided i would do the job  :)

i mean, we are best friends! mono should have trust in me ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 12:08 pm
okay, we both don't look like as the guy in the catalog... but i am sure we will make it on telly tonight! B)

before the show started we checked out the camera that was focusing right on our table... we tried to manipulate it... so it only would take pictures of us ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 12:14 pm
oooHHH!!!! how exciting! sting was on this show. he was singing pretty cool! also he seems a nice guy concering the things he was talking about.

after the show i tried to ask sting if he would like to take me on his tour. i was so over-excited everything seemed so blured... also, there have been so many other people who wanted to talk to sting... :stare:

in the end mono and me took a seat on sting's place during the show
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 12:28 pm
my green thumb is needed!

somehow miss paula has seemed to forget to take care of her plants... miss agi said that she is very much in love and has probably only her boy friend on her mind

okay... i will let her go away with this and will take over with plant-rescueing :)

mono has proved to be a great assitant  ;)

after i worked with a pair of scissors on mono's head successfully i didn't have any doubt why i shouldn't give this plant a good trim, too :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 21, 2009, 12:39 pm
somedays ago we have been moving again. this time senor rio has joined us.

mono and me couldn't believe what we had to witness: this crazy cat jumped into the washing machine!!!  :o

but he seemed to enjoy himself... he was grining like a cheshire cat all the way through! :p

that is soo typical senor rio!
miss agi

coming out of the washing machine rio still looked a bit mixed up... ;)

he confessed that he occationally loves a good spin! that's more fun than having a bath... ah... well, i enjoyed my bath very much... and nothing would get me into a washing machine voluantary....

mono and me joined rio on the radioator, kept him company while he got dry and warm. at this occation we also told senor rio about our adventures in costa rica

so this is what a trip with miss agi's choir looks like. everyone is squezzed into a small bus and off we go!  :cyclops:

today we participate in a choir workshop with another choir somewhere from the usa and venezuela.

i wanted to play them some tunes, too B) so i jumped over to the piano. i scared myself to almost death, when i saw my reflextion on the shining piano... :o
miss agi

Posted Nov 25, 2009, 11:03 am
that night we also had a concert. of course i attended the choir's rehearsal. i know all the songs by heart!

i put all my heart and soul in it and sing at the top of my lungs :D

frogs are ingenious singers, so i am  :cyclops:

finally i get to see the sea! mono took me to a beautiful beach in samara at the pacific seaside of costa rica!

we watched the waves and i got a little overexcited only by thinking how much fun it must be going surfing in the pacific :cyclops:

but mono just wanted to hang around this afternoon...  :stare:
miss agi

Posted Nov 25, 2009, 11:33 am
later that afternoon mono showed me coconut trees. he introduced me to how to climb up a coconut tree, how to hang around in it most comfortably and what to do with a coconut...

we cracked them and had a drink  :)

man! i think we got a little tipsy...  ;)
miss agi

today we had wonderful weather!
mono and me couldn't get miss agi out of the water  she enjoyed herself soo much jumping in and fighting against the waves... we started to worry she might get an aweful sunburn in the end of the day... :stare:

anyway... mono and me have been more sensible and stayed out of the sun B) instead playing the the sea we have been writing all the postcards miss agi got for her familiy, friends and her postcrossing.com-mates. she got sooo many postcards... it wasn't easy to decided who would get which postcard :stare:

anyway. it was fun telling the people about our adventures in costa rica via postcards... i wonder if they have noticed that mono and me have written them :p

the blue letter box looked a bit dogdy to us... if it was emptied occationally? anyway... we put our mail in it anyway... :)

oooHHH!!! how thrilling! today i met a real frog! i mean, like a REAL frog, not a soft toy like me  :)

he was soo cool, this guy. i mean, he was so unimpressed about my excitement...  :stare: he just sat there still... while i was jumping around him  :)

than, in his easy-going and weary voice he told me that he is a night-activ frog... so i better leave him sleeping and come around later... when it is dark... then he would show me around.

oooHHH!!! he was soo cool!  B)

dear froschi!

it's me, mono. now you are already gone for almost two weeks and i haven't heard anything from you :(
no updates, no postcard, no phone calls...

it is sooo boring without you! i hang around in a palm tree in miss agi's room since it is way too cold to go outside  :stare:

i took a picture of you up in to tree, so i don't have to hang around quite so lonely  ;)
the picture depicts you in the rainforst in monteverde when you met a small but very posionous snake  :o my brave friend! B)

well, i just wanted you to know that miss agi has been talking to some of her friends and you will probably travel soon to cuba, california, australia and sail around africa and, and, and...
WoooW! i can't believe miss agi knows so many people who will do sooo nice things abroad!  B)

...i wonder if you really take me with you...

well, if not... i will help miss agi hosting other toyvoyagers. thomashh will probably come around next week from his trip from russia. thomashh is a giraffe. maybe you will get to meet him, too... when do you actually return?

also i asked miss agi to invite hiro. he is a monkey from china, just visiting muinch. i guess it would be great fun to have another monkey around  :D as long as you are travelling  :(... hiro seems pretty cool!

so much from me,
best wishes to you, my dear friend
yours mono

after such a good time at the beach, mono wanted to show me a forest. there are plenty of different forests in costa rica. mono chose to show me the cloud forest of santa elena and monteverde.

we had a lot of luggage... somehow i couldn't deal with it by myself  fortuately i met miss piggy whom i asked to help me since she looked much bigger and stronger than me  :cyclops: some nice compliments did it and she carried all the bags to the bus for me  ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 27, 2009, 6:39 pm
wwOOOhhOOO! taking public buses in costa rica can be a shaky business... :p first mono and me wanted to look out of the window in order to enjoy the beautiful landscape! but the bus gave us a good shaking thus we jumped back into miss agi's backpack... :(
miss agi

Posted Nov 27, 2009, 6:55 pm
now it is time to conquer costa rica's caribean seaside!  :cyclops: therefore we had to go back to san jose from where we could catch a bus to cahuita.

after getting the tickets, mono and me checked out the busstation. first we wanted to know from which stop we were departing.

than we discovered something outrageous: many soft toys were caged in an automat!  :o we didn't have any coints at hand. :( otherwise, of course, we had tried to free them all!!!

i never thought humans could be sooo cruel to soft toys!
lucky me, i am with miss agi  :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 28, 2009, 11:40 pm
again at the seaside! how beautiful! at first we had to check out the beach. here in cahuita there is a black and a white sand beach. well... today we didn't find any sand... only the sea and some palm trees  :)

mono and me found some coco nuts again. remembering the headache after our last coco nut drinking bout :stare: we left the coco nut alone and watched it how transforming into a tree :p
miss agi

Posted Nov 28, 2009, 11:47 pm
we jumped and swang home to our little cabin right a the sea, with hammocks between the trees

hhhmmm... is there a better way to relax with a nice book at the seaside than in a hammock...
miss agi

Posted Nov 28, 2009, 11:56 pm
today we found the white beach! it is included in the national park.
you have to sign in before you enter the park. and when you get out of the park/beach you have to sign out again, of course.

that is in case you get lost there... park/beach closing time is at 5pm. if you don't turn up by then, someone will look for you.
miss agi

Posted Nov 29, 2009, 12:00 pm
so there it is, the beautiful beach! with white powder sand!

look there: we even met a crocodil at the beach  :o... but soon mono and me noticed it's not real... so we approached a little closer  ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 29, 2009, 12:41 pm
oooHHH NOOOO!!!! mono suddenly wanted to play "i am tanzan - you are jane" again! he grapped me and we had to swing in the trees  :stare:
..oooHHH. i don't feel so comfortable about this monkey-sport... i want my feet to stay on the ground...

except when  i am jumping around  ;)
miss agi

Posted Nov 29, 2009, 12:53 pm
then this crazy monkey let go!  :o and we landed on some branches very uncomfortablly

"look, look! a sloth!" mono was shouting!

indeed, a sloth! a nice fellow! when he noticed us, the sloth invited us to come up to his branch and hang around with him for awhile.  B)

this made up everything for mono and me :D
miss agi

Posted Nov 29, 2009, 1:03 pm
since we were hanging around in the trees miss agi couldn't find us.

she was mad with us!  :o she started to worry we might had got lost in the rain forest...

after we returned to her she told us off  for the rest of the afternoon we were meant to stay in her shoes and she would carry us around :(

anyway, there was a moment she was not attentive and i jumped out of her shoe... trying to do it my way :p

...but i regretted to do so very soon  i was all over with sand and got kind of afraid i won't find my way back... :stare:
will they really look for me in case i don't check out of the park by 5 pm?
miss agi

Posted Dec 7, 2009, 5:13 pm
fu§%&!* hell, froschi!

where are you?

what kind of friend are you?  :(

no message from you :stare:

now i have to go to the library with miss agi by myself... and it is extremly boring here, without you!

i put a picture of you on miss agi's desktop  :D

hope you are back soon!
your friend mono

so today i returned home to miss agi and mono!
miss agi and her choir had a concert thus mr. héc and me decided first to listen to their singing.
mono was at the concert, too. it was good to see may friend! but he wasn't alone... he was in company of thomashh, a tv who stays with miss agi for a while.
miss agi

Posted Dec 26, 2009, 7:00 pm
mono told me that thomashh just arrived at our place thus we had to show him around in our nice home.

i suggested to take a ride in the elephant mugs. that was great fun!

after a long and exciting ride we made a break in the kitchen with delicious cookies and a roasted apple. YummmmY!
miss agi

Posted Dec 26, 2009, 7:05 pm
ohhhh! it was so beautiful! the church was decorated with hundreds of little candles. ohhh, and the singing... wonderful! i wish i was singing with them again!
miss agi

Posted Dec 26, 2009, 7:13 pm
actually we wanted to go for a walk after sooo much delicious food. but when we looked out of the window we noticed that it was all white outside. snow all over! none of us has ever seen snow before! it looked very nice but somehow we were all a little scared of it...

since it was very cold, too, we decided to stay in.

miss agi affirmed that snow is nothing we need to be afraid off. she would take us out tomorrow and show us how to build a snowman and how to have a proper snow fight!

that sounds good to me and my friends!
miss agi

Posted Dec 26, 2009, 7:25 pm
YeeeaaaaH! snow! unbelievable! we had sooo much fun!
although you can get cold and wet easiely when you stay too long in the snow it was sooo much fun. we kept moving all the time so we were fine!

at first we built a snowman! each of us had to give his best. and look doesn't the result looks great?!

okay... maybe mr. snowman looks a little pissed off.... but that is probably because he can't move and participate in our snow fight. maybe he is also a little jealous with us because he never can travel to tropical countries... anyway! i thing mono, thomashh and me did a great job!
miss agi

Posted Dec 26, 2009, 7:36 pm
i never thought that thomashh could beat mono and me! his arm are so short... and he is much smaller than mono or me... he wore us down!

unbelievable... even mono changed fronts so i was all alone fighting agains both of them... mr. snowman was no help at all...

anyway... it was all fun!
miss agi

yesterday we made a journey by train. for christmas we will stay at miss agi's parents.

of course we will help preparing christmas eve! i put on a red scarf in order to look like santa froschi.  :cyclops:

first thing on our to do list: the tree. before we helped decorating it mono and me had to check each single bulp.
miss agi

Posted Dec 27, 2009, 12:14 pm
oh, i am very proud of the christmas tree. again, mono and me did a good job!  :D now i need some presents to put underneath the tress.

while mono was hanging about with thomashh i took the chance and wrapped up my presents for them  ;)

i got them some angels' wings. he, he... santa froschi and his christmas angels :p
miss agi

Posted Dec 27, 2009, 1:12 pm
today i helped to prepare the christmas dinner. for polish people it is tradition to eat fish on christmas eve.

it was hard work! these carps were sooo huge!
miss agi

Posted Dec 29, 2009, 12:20 pm
oh, after so much hard work and action i deserved a break! :D

i jumped upstairs to mono and thomashh and we watched a little telly.
miss agi prepared a small snack for us and also checked the programm for us. yeah, x-mas stories was the right thing to get into a christm(e)ssy mood  ;)

yeah, ernie, i love ernie and bernd... they always remind me of mono and me  :p
miss agi

Posted Dec 29, 2009, 2:55 pm
suddenly miss agi change the programm. she wanted us to watch a czech cinderalla movie

hmm... but i wanted to see ernie and bernd... :(

mono and thomashh also prefered cinderalle...  :stare:

okay then.
miss agi

Posted Dec 29, 2009, 3:01 pm
i didn't expect the movie to be soo funny and full of action  ;) but i really enjoyed myself B)

and then the movie helped me to find a christmas present for miss agi. three magical hazel nuts. what a great idea :D

that is what cinderalla got in the movie, too! ;)
miss agi

It was our second day in America... We were looking for a Hotel in Long Beach and we were going crazy because Mr. Héc was already tired and simply could not continue driving... His was sleeping and at the same time driving! I am glad I had the best seat... I did not only have the best view but it was also the safest!! I am very glad that Mr. Héc was taking care of me!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 10:38 am
Oh Oh!! Oooohhh!! We almost crashed!!!  :o

But like alway Mr. Héc had everything into control... Nevertheless he also thought it was a good time to start consuming and  to drink a coffee was the best idea!! This way he could finally wake up!!
:D :D
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 10:57 am
I have to say the coffee was really good! Light vanille soy milk with a little bit of cinammon!! It was a great recommendation!! This guy has definitely a good taste!  ;)

We forgot that we were driving a very big car and with had almost no gas! So I decided I was big enough to do it!!
mr.héc

It was such a shame it was not sunny and warm, otherwise I would have loved to learn surfing!!

This place is really amazing so we definitely have to stop to enjoy a little bit of the view! ;)
mr.héc

We were back in Los Angeles and we were starving!! I was so glad that we were in America... In every corner you find all types of food!! We simply didn't want to wait and we started with the American Diet!! Just "healthy food"!!!

Or what do you think?? ;)
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 11:09 am
We didn't have a lot of time to spend in America! We had to use every single second!!

It was time to visit a new beach!! Mr. Héc had very good memories of this one because he was spending every summer here when he was a student!!

We simply had a walk in the harbor, ate some lobster and had some ice... I have to say it was a nice place and we had a nice view at the restaurant!! ;)

It was a shame I was not allowed to go swimming
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 11:12 am
At night we were in Hollywood and like everyone, I wanted to see the Walk of Fame.... It was nothing special and I didn't find any particular Star I admire. Nevertheless it is considered a have to in this city and I was not going to leave withouth visiting it :)
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 11:25 am
One of my Dream almost came true!! Curmit was there!! Just behind this door!! Just some meter away from me!!  :D

And ..................................................

We were not allowed to take pictures!! It was simply forbidden!! I thought I would die!! Mr. Héc took a picture and the security guy asked him to erase it!! Can you believe it?  :(

After all I know I have to come back!!

After all, I am only 12 hours away from here!!  ;)
mr.héc

Posted Jan 8, 2010, 11:31 am
As I was kind of sad, Mr. Héc decided to take me to a special place... A place we I might get to know new frogs and maybe......THE REAL LOVE!!

It was a great place, I was sorounded only by beautiful frogs... They all looked great but this girls were not ready... They simply didn't know anything about their future!! Anything about there destiny and I decided to let them choose!!

After 5 minutes waiting, they decided................................... That none of them wanted something serious!! AND MY HEART WAS BROKEN AGAIN!!!  :( :(

Well, it was at least a try :) And now I have another reason to come back!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 9, 2010, 6:59 am
We went today to Santa Mónica but I was so tired and it was so hot that I decided to drink something refreshing and low in calories....

They forgot that Mr. Héc is a "Lacto" and normal milk would kill him... That's why we had to wait a little bit longer but they offered us a larger drink!! They were very nice at this Coffee Shop... That way I could share the drink with him!! :D
mr.héc

Posted Jan 9, 2010, 7:03 am
I have to say that Mr. Héc was really trying to show me many nice places, nevertheless it was time for him to get something nice and he decided to go shopping.. Of course I could come and I have to say it was a looooong day!! But it was worth it!! I felt like a Superstar for the first time!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 9, 2010, 7:07 am
It was kind of strange to see all this deco in LA... The weather was not really cold and to celebrate Christmas without snow or at least cold weather is really not the same!!

But I have to say the street and all the small bazaar were amazing decorated!! I really liked it!! That's why we decided to buy some presents also for Christmas and we stayed even longer at this place!! IT WAS DEFINITELY a long shopping day!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 9, 2010, 7:11 am
We made a little bit of sightseeing and the family of Mr. Héc told us that not very far from their place many superstars live, so we decided to visit some of them...

I was glad to have a talk with Vic und Dave Beckham... and we went to their house but............ they even didn't open the door!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 9, 2010, 7:14 am
I just wanted to show the place we were staying (corner of the street)... After we visited them, they offered us to stay with them for some days and we defintely thought it was a great idea!!

It was very nice to stay with Héc's family!!  B)
mr.héc

Posted Jan 10, 2010, 8:20 pm
I am not sure if I mentioned it, but Mr. Héc is simply a "Fast Food" Yunkee!! He wanted to try every single fast food restaurant! And to be honest, it didn't bother me!! I felt in paradise everytime I could try new stuff!!

I am only afraid I will have to be on diet immediately after we arrive to Bremen!!

Until now I gained 23g!! Can you believe it? :o
mr.héc

Posted Jan 10, 2010, 8:24 pm
I just wanted to show the nice view and I really wanted to get there! Unfortunately it was impossible so one of Mr. Héc pals tried to help me!!

It was the closest I could get to the sign...  :D

Nice view, isn't it?
mr.héc

WE WERE IN VEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 17, 2010, 1:05 pm
I gotta say that this life in Vegas is sometimes kind of crazy... Yesterday we were gambling the whole night and we got some problems because Mr. Héc forgot that it is forbidden to take pictures inside the casinos and they almost take our camera away!! Crazy, isn't it?

It is very very early! We almost didn't sleep but it is time to go to see a little bit of the city!! That's why we need some energy and the best way to get it is with a delicious Cinammon Dolce Latte!!  :D
mr.héc

Posted Jan 17, 2010, 1:12 pm
Here we are making a tour... Just looking around and enjoying the nice view of this hotels!! It is amazing the way this city was built! There is so much to see, there is so much to eat, there is so much to enjoy!! It is simply so much fun!!

I am not sure, but Mr. Héc said that the last time he was there, there were still building new hotels and it was amazing to the the number of constructions and handworkers...

Here you have a nice view of some hotels! New York New York in the first pic I guess... and in 2 weeks it will be the opening of an amazing one!! It looks very modern and enormous!!
mr.héc

Posted Jan 17, 2010, 1:16 pm
After being in Vegas I got to the feeling of starting a new show!! Isn't America the country where all your dreams come true? I got to know some new friends who invited me to be part of their band!! They are already a hit all over the world... But I am not sure that it is because of their music!! I guess they taste better ... :)
mr.héc

Posted Jan 17, 2010, 1:19 pm
We came finally back to the hotel and I was exhausted! Mr. Héc and his friends were crazy about shopping... Just give a look... And that belongs only to one person!! You don't wanna see what all the girls of the band bought!! They are even crazier!!

since mr. jay isn't the poetic type of guy he kind of refused to write some comment to the great pictures he took of mono and me :(

anyway, just have a look. YyeahH! mono and me had a real bosom buddies holiday! with lots of rum, cigars, cool cars, a little sight seeing and beautiful beaches!
miss agi

okay, okay... after enjoying soooo much cuban rum and cigars we all have been very hangoverish... most of the time... thus we spent half of the time in Cuba... in bed... :stare:

mr. jay helped mono and me to bounce back with fresh fruits for breakfast...

so tonight i took soon bottles of beer, my trompet and jumpt over to mr. ulz. B)
... actually, miss agi put me in a zipbag for safty reasons :stare: because she doesn't want me to become a smoker... but hey, get it on... i got myself out of this bag very quickly  ;)

the next morning we started the journey across germany to vienna. the stage boys let my choose: either i could sit inside the truck and help to navigate them OR sit outside the truck as figurehead.

well, guess what i did :p since it was an damn hot day i preferd to stay outside B) its way i also could organise my lunch because i caught each single fly  YuuMMmmY... i am still an animal... ;)
miss agi

Posted Jun 18, 2010, 9:24 am
WoooW! what a cool journey! i haven't eaten sooo many insects and flies in ages :p

anyway :p these guys here are the stage boys and i am one of them now, too :cyclops:

mr. ulz, me and mr. flo B) ...by the way...i also need some cool sunglases..

and me with mr. lei, mr. lo and mr. flo in front of the concert hall :D wicked!!!!

no chance for a break or a sightseening tour :( the musicians will arrive soon and want to rehearse. so we have a lot to do...  :stare:
miss agi

Posted Jun 18, 2010, 4:24 pm
puuuhhh! the stage boys were kind to me and let me off work  :cyclops: well, i am way to small to put all the instruments and chairs on stage  ;)

meanwhile, i checked out some cases. this is also a wind sector instrument... but way bigger than my trompet! it's a bassoon! pretty cool bass sounds  B)

also i checked out the timbal. after i've learnt to play my trompet perfectly, that's the next instrument i'll learn to play!  :cyclops:

and than i met mr. chris! he is a professional trompet player! WoooW! i asked him a lot and he gave me some lessons
miss agi

Posted Jun 18, 2010, 6:56 pm
obviously i was jigging around too much on stage... suddenly mr. ulz grabbed me and put me into the zipbag :( i had to stay with him in the smoker's corner for a while :stare:

but, of course, i could free myself  :cyclops:
i looked for mr. järvi's room and asked for his opinion: what do i have to do to become a memeber of the deutsche kammerphilharmonie bremen and play on stage with them?

well, at first i have to get the right outfit: a black tailcoat and with bow tie
secondly, i have to work on my lip's tention and my posture  :o
thirdly, i have to attend all the rehearsals  :stare:
so no chance for my to play the concert in vienna, this time!  :(

but if i do well and practice hard, mr. järvi will give it a try in november. than the orchestra will go on tour to japan! WooooW! froschi big in japan

meanwhile i listend to the orchestra's rehearsal. all my heros together on stage: mr. järvi conducting, mr. stoffel playing the timbal and mr. chris & mr. bernie playing the trompet and many, many other cool musicians! WoooW!  :D

ooohhh! the music was soooo beautiful , i totally forgot i wanted to terrories mr. johnny violine... well, next time  ;)

after all the fifa championship football action and public viewings i have to work on my carreer as a professional musician again!  :cyclops:

what did mr. järvi say : i need the right outfit and take part in all the reahersals!

so i asked miss lenny and miss agi to help me with the outfit!
at first i checked what this musicians outfit looks like and made some drafts.

miss agi

Posted Jul 21, 2010, 2:54 pm
than we had to measure my perfect froggy body ;) thus we could make patterns.
although, this measuring thing was quite unpleasant
miss agi

Posted Jul 21, 2010, 3:11 pm
finally we had to cut the pattern and sew everything together :)
miss agi

miss agi told me that i am a toyvoyager of the week right now and that i got an invitation to go to the uk  :D

okay than... going to england was reason enough to leave mr. ulz for a while  :)

mr. sea-bastian, a real seafarer suggested to me to join him and his crow!  B)
since water is my element i couldn't say no! and travelling on a hug ship for four months that sounds like a big adventure to me!
i hope mr. sea-basti is not only a good sailor but also a great photographer, too  ;)

shame on me!
it is now almost a year ago that i was in concert with miss agi and her choir and i havn't told you about it yet ...

so, what do we have here: the choir rehearsing rossini's petite messe solennelle midi. wonderful!

not to forget the soloists! you may guess that i will try to make friend the the tenor singer mr. clemens B)

miss agi

Posted Aug 11, 2011, 5:21 pm
the most exciting thing about this afternoon have been the instruments! the singers are only accompanied on two pianos and one reed organ.

damn. i can't accompany them on my trompet ...  :(

alright, i will try the reed organ then ...  :cyclops:

puuu, that was hard work  :stare: but great fun!  :D
miss agi

Posted Aug 11, 2011, 5:36 pm
okay, okay ... it was harder work then i thought ...  :stare:
in the end i decided to help only  turn the pages. miss agita was very happy about my offer  :p as you see she isn't much bigger then me, too... and she needed to sit on two chairs in order to get the right hight  ;)
we have been a dream team! :p
miss agi

Posted Aug 11, 2011, 5:44 pm
oh, oh and after the concert i finally got to know mr. clemens.
he was as delighted as me  :p and very impressed about my outfit and my working experience with the deutsche kammerphilharmonie bremen.  B)
he offered me to give me some singing lessons so i also can become a professional tenor singer :D
nice one!!!!  :cyclops:

there is another adventure i didn't tell you about yet.

miss agi took me to a film festival last september. ... first i was kind of critical about this plan  ... hanging around in dark cinemas all afternoon and night long ...  :o

but in the end she could convince me. there was a movie all about the cane toads and how the conquer autralia. that got me very curious  :cyclops:

also the programm was very froggy anf the cinema was decorated frog style  :p

pretty cool  B)
miss agi

Posted Aug 12, 2011, 10:12 am
i think i was in 3 or 4 different movies and cinemas that day  :D
and it wasn't as bad as i thought. really :) it's quite cossy.

oh, and the cane toads movie was a 3d one. that was sooo exciting B) i got my own glasses and i really thought the gigantic frogs are jumping out from the screen straight on my seat :o

miss agi got kind of scared and screamed out loud  :p she was happy i was sitting next to her calming her down  ;)
miss agi

Posted Aug 12, 2011, 10:18 am
oh, and of course i got to know a nice new frog friend  :cyclops:.

she was kind of a red eyed gaudi frog. the beautiful kind i met in costa rica before . she was a bit shy and didn't want to leave her miss  :( i only wanted to discuss with her how she liked the festival atmosphere and the toads movie

anyway, she allowed me to take a picture of us  ;)

Posted Sep 5, 2011, 3:38 pm
greetings from shanghai!

it is sooo cool on the open sea!!!  B)

okay ... i admit the first week on board i was sick ...  :stare:
the open sea is quite different from a frogs' pond ...  :o

however, after i've puked all over the deck i had to stay in mr. sea-basti's coach ...  i continued being sick there ...  :( mr. sea-basti wasn't amused ...

but now i am fine and we are best friends again ;)
miss agi

Posted Oct 13, 2011, 9:03 pm
hey there!
since i don't get sick anymore i am allowed on deck :D
actually i need a helmet for safty reasons because we are travelling on a cargo ship ... but they don't have any in my size  ;)

miss agi

Posted Oct 13, 2011, 9:09 pm
it is so exciting travelling on a ship. you are somewhere else everyday ... but you don't see any difference you are always surrounded by the sea... except you get closer to a coast ;)

look yourself what a great view on the ocean.
miss agi

sometimes when the weather and sea gets too rough mr. sea-basti tieds me up so i can't go overboard

I was lucky that DJ Uncool was busy in Swiss and asked me to assist him making people sweat on the mad katz party  B) new years' night in Basel and a week later in Zurich.

I was sooo excited, as usual  ;)

at first i helped DJ Uncool to chose the right music. the right mix is the most important thing to get the crowd sweating proberly!  :p
miss agi

Posted Jan 13, 2012, 7:35 pm
... what has happened that ... I don't really know ... only that i found myself in bed ...

while checking the music DJ Uncool and me had some drinks ... that's the last thing I can remeber ...
miss agi

Posted Jan 13, 2012, 7:42 pm
this is what DJ Uncool told me the next morning ... :(

after a few drinks i kind of have lost it ... I took a bath in the money because i couldn't believe how much money a DJ earns  :cyclops:

miss agi

Posted Jan 13, 2012, 7:46 pm
... after that i got over-excited and started to act like a rock star ... or my idea of a rock star ... i turned into riot-froschi and took the hotel-room apart ... :o
miss agi

Posted Jan 13, 2012, 7:56 pm
... DJ Uncool wasn't amused about my behaviour ... and I guess Miss Agi wouldn't have been either ...  :stare:

DJ Uncool tided up and then gave me another drink. what i didn't know at that point was that he put some tranquiliser into the drink ...  :( i got tired straight away...

... DJ Uncool put me into bed and I felt asleep immediately ...

imagine ... I missed out on the party ... because i coulnd't handle my drink ...
miss agi

Posted Jan 13, 2012, 8:10 pm
... laying in bed ... and being very sick ... i made a new year's resolution: NO MORE DRINKING in 2012!  :stare:
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 8:59 pm
hi there. back home again at miss agi's.

after four unbelievable days in the mail i just arrived on time for a great action together with miss agi and her new choir  :p

this action is called "kohlfahrt" and typical for bremen. in winter time many groups walk around in the cold pulling a coaster wagon behind them, playing strange games and ending up in a restaurant eating lots of cabbage, meat saussages and potatos  hhmmmmm!

great!
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:04 pm
you maybe wonder what everybody is holding in their hands ...
well, one thing i didn't mention yet ... a kohlfahrt involves plenty of drinking ... :cyclops:

yes ... i still remember my new years resolution ... but ... it is for the sack of tradition  ;)

and ... i only had one shot ... i promise!
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:08 pm
first game: tea bag long cast.
in order to make it more difficult the tea bags have been wet and i had to swing the tea bag with my mouth :o
but i think i did quite well
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:14 pm
poooh, that was quite exhausting.
so i grapped some of those yummy brownies and made myself comfortable in the coaster wagon again  ;)

and no, i didn't have another drink ... :( miss agi was watching me ... :stare:
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:17 pm
second game:
singing with a gigantic chocolate marshmallow in my mouth :cyclops: and i was allowed to eat it after the others have guessed my song  :p
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:21 pm
third game:
blowing up a ballon, putting around the ankle chasing the other team and bursting their ballons.

alright ... i admit ... i help blowing up the ballon ... but i let the others do the rest of the game  ;)

my legs are way too short ... and it's more comfortable in the wagon :p
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:26 pm
forth game:

rolling up a matchbox car that was fixed on a string and a pencil.
poooh, all this games were so exhausting ... i want some food!
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:30 pm
fifth game:
... i don't remember ...
since i wasn't allowed to do the drinking part with the others i went ice skating by myself for a while  B)
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:33 pm
finally we arrived at the restaurant. the famous ratskeller.
the bremer town musicians have been there too and gave me an advice which drinks to order :-)
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:38 pm
finally some food. and finally some beer ;)
YuuuuMMMyyyyy!!!

but before the cabbage meal i had to eat my pretzel
miss agi

Posted Feb 17, 2012, 9:43 pm
i felt like in heaven with all the food and the beer.

although i had to defend my plate. miss megu likes to eat a lot, too  B)

and because i finished up my plate so nicely i was crowned as the cabbage king  :cyclops:

uuuhhh! i like this choir! i wonder what will be the next cool action i can join them  :p
miss agi

Posted Apr 2, 2012, 8:47 pm
ui! yesterday one of miss agi's friends visited us. he is from düsseldorf. i was a little surprised ...  this weekend was carneval and he escapes from it to bremen???

no chance, i bend his ear that he just could do any other thing else but returning to düsseldorf straight away. taking me along ;-)

of course i quickly needed a costum. can you tell i am wearing scrubs B) hi hi hi hi scrubs one of my favorite tv series  :p

well, i am not quite sure as what the fellows behind me were dressed up ... but they made a hell lot of noice with their drums ...
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 7:47 pm
hey folks,

my last adventure took place on a fun fair here in Bremen.
i did some fun stuff, there  :p

for example, there have been gigantic sharks i watched from the distance ...
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 7:54 pm
right next to this ride there was a game called "jump froggy!"
you don't have to tell me twice :-)

what happened than devasted me a bit ...

watch yourself  :stare:
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:07 pm
that was no fun game for frogs!

one after the other of us was catapulted. goal of the game was to land in the flower pot. when you don't make it you fall into a frog pont ...

they made me fly so long until i made it!  :stare:
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:14 pm
a little baby duck helped me to escape from this place  :)

from that moment on the fun fair was fun again!  :cyclops:

first thing we did together was the bumper car  B)
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:17 pm
next "must do" on the fair was eating some sweets  :p
YummY: such a big choice!
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:23 pm
then i remembered that my family history has begun at this particular fun fair.

well, i look along the booths until i met some of my cousins  :D

although they have been much bigger than me i recognised them straight away. my cousins still had the golden hair on top of their heads which i let cut off long time ago  B)

but i have to admit they were kind of scary ...  :o i guess they were a little jealous because i am a proper toyvoyager and they are trappedvoyagers  :(

so i ran off very quickly ...  :stare:

miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:30 pm
running off made me hungry again ... this time ducky and me had some schmalzkuchen. yuMMy!!!!
miss agi

Posted May 2, 2012, 8:36 pm
meanwhile it turned dark. but it is never dark at a fun fair! :cyclops:
all the colourful lights!
i decided to take a ride on the big wheel in order to see all the lights proberly  B)

miss agi

Posted May 28, 2012, 8:01 pm
today i go on a trip with miss agi's choir.
first thing to do before we start to rehearse is a journey on a bike to worpswede. a village outside from bremen. it is known to be a artist village.
miss agi

Posted May 28, 2012, 8:04 pm
to get to worpswede i had to cross a river wümme. so much water :) i got a littel excited
miss agi

Posted May 28, 2012, 8:12 pm
today i first checked out the place before i started with the rehearsal.

i took my boat and landed on crete :p
to my surprise the beach in sougia was all of pebbles. nevertheless the water was blue!
some pirates must have landed here before :o but no problem: i am a brave toyvoyager B)

On my way to Palechora I made a rest in an interesting small village.
It was so hot that day so I enjoyed my break in the shade in a small cafe very much.

I was especially attracted by a sign saying that they serve Sofia's world famous omlette! I had to try it!

While waiting for my lunch I checked out the place. Inside there was a kind of museum. And outside there were grapes growing and made a roof over the raod. I was already so hungry I had to try the grapes  ;)

I think it is one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete B)

And yes indeed, the sand is pink  :cyclops: Because this is something so special and unique it is forbidden to take the sand away from the beach :(

Anyway, one day when I will have a sweet heart i will take her to this beach and impress her.

This place once was a port. But Crete is slowly tilting out of the water.

Today I visit a place that is famous for being Crete's air conditioner. The place to go on a hot summer's day.  B) The climate is caused by the waterfalls here. Also the place is famous for delicious trouts and sturgeons  i even could choose my trout
miss agi

Puh, first I need a power nap! A little black cat allowed me to rest with her  :)

And then, after a short bath in a well  I was ready for action again and checked out the village :cyclops: an old roman bathroom, a chapel and a pink house  :) seems to be a favorit coulor here on Crete

Today I visited Plaka. A small village. From here I will take a boat and visit the Island Spinalonga - a former leper colony  :o

Here in Plaka they have a church in my size  ;)
miss agi

Posted Oct 30, 2013, 7:42 pm
Spinalonga is a place full of history! I recommend to you to read The Island by Victoria Hislop. So you can get a hint of how life on Spinalonga was for the lepers.

Here I also found a church in my size  :p

There is also an old fortress build by the Venetians during an occupations long long times ago ... as you may tell by all the old stones and ruins.

And I met Max the ice bear from Alaska. He works for Alaska Distillery! Actually he is not a "real" toyvoyager but he is on business trips for his employer. Anyway, Max suggested I should visit him in Alaska. He will show me around and we will make a vodka tasting  ;)

Here some impressions from the wonderful town Agios Nikolaos.

They have a statue of Europe how she was stolen by a bull aka a disguised Zeus. They landed on Crete and lived here together for some time, got some kids ... until Zeus decided to look for some new sweethearts and adventures ;) Poor Europe!

Greek myths are great fun!

Slowly but surely I am getting to the end of my Crete story. :(

Today I show you the cool beach that belongs to Camping Elisabeth. It is a very nice camping side that I want to recommand to everyone :-) They have some donkeys right next to the side who do a great job as alarm-bell in the morning  :p and host the turtle rescuer  B)
miss agi

Posted Nov 10, 2013, 5:49 pm
Today I visited another historical place  :cyclops: Crete is full of them  ;)

These are the caves of Matala. What a great view on the sea, isn't it!
In the 1960s the Hippies lived here. Among them Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens.

And this beach is actually the place where Zeus in the shape of a bull landed with Europe. He turnd then into an eagle and they both took off to Gortyn.

Now I will tell you more about the turtle rescuers.
They have their camp here, too. With there car they drive from beach to beach and check if turtles have laid eggs. Then the turtle rescuer mark the place. After that they check if the baby turtles have already hatched. It takes them about 60 days to do so.

I triedy to help them. But the only turtle I have seen was made of stones ...

A few days ago I visited Bad Hersfeld. The "Bad" in a German city's name doesn't mean it is a bad place  :o but is an indication for a spa town

Right: I was going for some spa-time  :cyclops:

But first I had to check the place. With all the frame houses around the town looks kind of medieval ...
miss agi

There is also an old Abbey in Bad Herfeld. But it is an ruin since a long, long time.

Nowadays this location is used for musical festivals.

miss agi

Posted Feb 12, 2014, 9:26 am
There are some brainy people coming from Bad Hersfeld. For example two guys named Konrad.

Konrad Zuse is the inventer of the first computer. At that time the data processor filled a huge room. Imagine!  :o

Kondrad Duden is famous for developing an uniform spelling for the German language.

Smart fellows!  B)

While my walk through town I met this crowd. What the hell they are doing?
miss agi

Posted Feb 18, 2014, 5:51 pm
Right! It all has to do with the church
Some hundred years ago the people thought the church was burning. But in truth there was a big cloud of mosquitoes flying around the tower ... it looked like smoke ... thus the people wanted to put out the fire ...  ;)
miss agi

Posted Feb 18, 2014, 5:57 pm
Not that I am so much into internet shopping, but I discovered a huge amazon.de distribution center here in Bad Hersfeld  :o
miss agi

Posted Feb 18, 2014, 6:16 pm
On my tour through town I also got to the Kurpark. As I said earlier the "Bad" in the town's name stands for "spa" and springs with healthy water. In these places you get the great Bad Hersfeld water.

Right now we have the most beautiful spring weather here in the North of Germany. Thus Mono and me had to make a trip to the seaside. We decided for Wilhelmshaven. An town famous for hosting Germany's first navel port at the Jade in 1869. Today it is Germany's main place of marine and second largest position of the German Armee

Anyway ... Mono and me are only interested in the water, the sunshine, looking at ships and some fish bread rolls  :p

There is a big fight in Germany about who actually invented the Curry Wurst. Did a lady in Berlin serve the first pork saugsage with tomato ketch up and curry powder or was it a lady in Hamburg. If you ask me: I don't mind  :p as long I get mine when I am hungry ;)

There is even a famous Currywurst song by Herbert Grönemeyer ...  :D

And one more thing to let you know: Finally I could convince Johnny Violin to take me with him on his tour through South America  :cyclops:

... it's already four years ago when Mono, Hiro and me visited Warsaw ... but you can't really tell by the pictures, can you?! ;) We didn't age at all  :cyclops:

So here are some impressions from Poland's capital.

Oh, and here are also some lyrics from a great song about Warsaw from Czeslaw Nieman  In Polish of coures!  ;)

Mam tak samo jak ty,
Miasto moje a w nim:
Najpikniejszy mój swiat
Najpikniejsze dni
Zostawilem tam kolorowe sny.

Kiedys zatrzymam czas
I na skrzydlach jak ptak
Bede lecial co sil;
Tam, gdzie moje sny,
I warszawskie kolorowe dni.

Hey there! Here's my first message from my Latin America Tour. Right now I am in Buenos Aires.

Since it's cold outside I keep myself warm at the fire place  :stare:
But it is not as boring as it sounds because I listen to Johnny Violin making music and sometimes we even play together  B)
Also he teaches me how to use the green effects penal so I can help him on the next concert  :cyclops:

Just come around and see us on stage:
