Hi mommy, I made it to the USA, a small rural town in Ohio called LYNX, it is named after the Lynx cat that was seen in this area years and years ago..:) There is so much wildlife & attraction here....Robin (thats my guardian) she is so nice, she showed me around her home, she dont have any children, but that is okay she is crazy over me :) she loves my BIG smile...!  She loves the outdoors, she has a beautiful Goldfish Pond, it has 30 fish in it, frogs, and other wildlife...and she has a cat named Orange Cat , she is nice too....and there are so many flowers to see, we went on a nice walk up her country road, its just a dirt road and, not like the busy highways that are paved, you hardly ever see a car pass by..on our walk we seen several birds, even a Red-Tailed Hawk,!  The leaves are turning beautiful colors here reds,oranges,yellows,rusts,etc....Its in the Autumn Season , its beautiful, and Its so peaceful here...great place to relax:) especially after that long trip..Tommorow she is taking me to her work place, its a nursing home, I will meet alot of people....and will will go on a hiking trail to a place called Buzzards roost this weekend! She said you can find information online about that Mommy!.....well, I am soooo tired mommy, I am gonna watch a movie with her then go to bed....sweet dreams mommy, I will talk to you in a day or two....
bye bye Matylda

Today we went on a Van ride with the Residents....it was called "FALL TOUR" , we enjoyed the countryside , fall foilage, the pretty colors of reds, yellows, rusts, & greens....soooo pretty!  We stopped on a old country road, and rolled the windows down to just listen to the leaves as they fell....what a peaceful sound! Then along the way we saw some cows....one even MOOED at me :D, we all laughed! Then we drove on & saw a really pretty view of some cows down in a valley & the smoke stacks in the background , right by them is the Ohio River & then cross it, is the state of Kentucky! What a View!  Then we drove a little further & come across a very Historic Landmark in this area, a place called the "Counterfeit House"....this is very interesting!!

Here is the "Counterfeit House" , the story behind this is back in the Civil War time, the folks that lived there made counterfeit bills ...The house featured many boo-boo traps & hidden doors & compartments including the four chimneys the house had, 2 of the chimneys were to heat the home, while the other two were dummies & used to hide the counterfeit money & plates that made the bills....but the pipes led thru the dummy chimneys to make smoke come from them , as ifg they were working....do you see the top window in the attic? (see pics) , well, when people ordered counterfeit money, would come across the river on boats, & they would look for a signal from that window (this would be a light from a lantern) ..if the lantern was light, then the people on the boat would walk up the hill to the counterfeit house & give real cash for counterfiet money (lots of it), if no signal was given, then they knew the money was not ready or something was wrong........There sure is alot of HIstory here!!!    this "Counterfeit House" is privately owned...

Hello!
From Bristol... I arrived the other day.
It's very cold here, and its supposed to get even colder.
This morning I went to get a Christmas tree with my host, Ellie, and her family and the too other TVs that are staying here PinkyHH and Meleca.
Meleca arrived on the same day as me she is very nice, and PinkyHH has been here a while, she told me about when Ellie took her to see Bristol City Centre. Hopefully I will get to go there whilst I'm staying here.
Later today we are going to put up and decorate the Christmas tree, that is going to be really fun.
I hope all is well back home.
Love Matylda.

Today we - that´s Willy W., Mister Snow, Slimak and Eebee - have to take care of Peggers little niece. The little girl is so sweet. But also very smart and I have no picture with her :-(.

For that I got to know Jule and Standforth.

Typically!
If already something happens on a dull day, one has of course no camera, besides :-(

I sat with the other in the window and we observed the street. It did not happen a lot, because it rained once again. Indeed, however, there came action on the street.

We were woken up from our dozing by a bang!
A look from the window showed us that somebody with get out for a parking place had driven up!! A young girl ran hectically calling up through the street.

Then some minutes later the police also appeared! We observed everything with interest, but as said: Unfortunately, Pegger did not have here her camera or the accumulator was empty. But, at least, the day, so however, was saved anyhow!

Hello!
Humph what I should tell. Today we have everybody with Pegger her suitcase for theirs travels to Slovenia packed.

When she noted finally that her suitcase was so full that hardly a little bit purely fitted she did not decide us to take everybody. so we selected by count out who was allowed with on the trip to Slovenia.

Unfortunately, I have had bad luck and was not allowed to come along :-(. But Mr. Snow and Willy W. have promised us to tell everything what they have experienced there.

Oh yes, the fact that it no pictures from packing it is although a problem of Slovenia trip, because the SD Card were broken :-(.

Bye

Our first stop was near Mehrum.

Mehrum is a part of Hohenhameln district Peine, in Lower Saxony. The village is situated on the Midland canal.
The oldest preserved document, where Mehrum is mentioned, dates from the year 1262nd. Today the village has 1096 inhabitants. Widely visible on the coal plant Mehrum Midlnd canal, which has its own inland port is for coal delivery. The plant supplies a large part of the district of Peine, and the eastern region of Hanover with energy.

Near Nette we make our second stopp at a car park space.

The village is situated in the north of Ambergaubeckens on the southern slopes of the vineyard. Nette was the first time in a document of 26th October 1234 mentioned. She was attending a synod at the monastery for Bockenem Lamspringe issued. The noble family of Nette, which had since 1404 in the Bockenem Junkernhof, has pledged the castle in 1446 Bishop Magnuns Wohlenstein.

Today I help writting postcards for Postcrossing.

http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz40/peggertv/Matylda/BILD1979.jpg

Postcrossing is an online project that allows its members to send and receive real postcards from all over the world. The project's tag line is "send a postcard and receive a postcard back from a random person somewhere in the world!”. Its members, also known as Postcrossers, send postcards to other members and receive postcards back from other random Postcrossers. Where the postcards come from is always a surprise.
