Hello.  I live in Florida, and the swamp is my favorite place!  I've added some photos of me living it up in my natural environment.

I went with my owners to Medieval Times, where I saw the knights jousting; and then for a fun-filled day at Sea World to experience the likes of Shamu and other sea creatures.  I had a blast!!!!!

I visited New Zealand and saw some beautiful scenery. I hiked in Tongariro National Park (it's that volcano you can see in the background), and got to hang out by the amazingly blue lake, Tekapo.

I even got to go see Isengard! -- The site of the famous battle between the Tree Ents and Saruman's Orcs in Lord of The Rings!

Don't worry, Saruman wasn't around. I think he left a long time ago.

I visited the Southern 45th parallel. It's halfway between the equator and the south pole! The only places where you can visit the southern 45th parallel are here in New Zealand, and in Argentina! Plus, the only land further south that you can go to in the world, other than New Zealand and Argentina, is Antarctica!

(well, there might be some islands down there too).
Bonus: it took me a while to figure out why I was halfway between the equator and the south pole, but the mileage to each wasn't exactly equal. Do you know why?

Hey, where is Ninja? where is Samurai?

This is my first meal in Japan!!
They call this "Tonkatsu".
Originally it came from the Western countries as pork cutlet.
Now it is one of very popular and home-cooking food in Japan.

yum...yum... <3  :p

This is "Shikoku-mura", open-air museum located in the southern foothills of Mt. Yashima.
Traditional farmhouses are reconstructed in their original forms.
Step back to the almost-forgotten past of traditional Japan!!

Zenigata Sunae is a giant sand sculpture of an old coin, curved about 2m deep in the white sand on the beach.
Its size is East-West 122m and North-South 90m.

It was made in 1633 by farmers and fishermen, when Lord Ikoma IV visited this area.
Maybe people wanted to please him.
Today this coin is the symbol of the city of Kanonji.
Twice a year it is carefully remodeled by volunteers.

We can see its whole view from hilltop.
Look at the people on the beach.
How they are small compared with Zenigata!

The port of Takamatsu is called "Sunport".
Today one big guest is anchoring  :o

Can you see Mt. Yashima's flat peak over there?
I will go there and look around the whole city, maybe tomorrow.

Takamatsu_Jo is also known as Tamamo_Jo (Castle Tamamo).
It was built along the waterfront in 1590 by the Matsudaira Clan, the Lord of Takamatsu and relatives of the Tokugawa Shogun.
As the Edo period (Samurai's era) ended, the main tower of the castle was destroyed. However, moats and walls are still there as they used to be  :)

Awajishima (island) is a big island in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea between Honshu and Shikoku.
Awajishima is separated from Honshu by the Akashi Strait and from Shikoku by the Naruto Strait. The expressway run through both straits by the two big bridges.
Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world, which connects to Kobe city.

Quote:
According to the Japanese creation Myth, the two Deities, Izamagi and his wife Izanami,  first stood on the "floating bridge of heaven" and used a spear to stir the sea below, whereupon the brine dripping from the spear's point congealed and formed the island of Onogoro. The two Deities then descended to the island and created the island of Awaji and others in the "great eight-island country," finally giving birth to various other Deities.

On the way home Takamatsu, we stopped for a while before crossing Naruto Strait.
We expected to see the Naruto whirlpools, but the time of a high tide was gone :(

P.S. I ate Sushi  :D
