They've never travelled before so I'm looking forward to telling them allll about my trips!

They all had suggestions of what I should do and where I should visit!

I have arrived in Owen Sound, after my long journey.  I was greeted by 4 new friends.  I think I am truly going to enjoy my stay with Aunt Aimee.  Right now, I am so tired from my journey, that I am going to have a little nap.  Aunt Aimee says, that after nap time, we can play in the backyard.

For dinner tonight, I tried some Pierogies.  They are boiled dumplings stuffed with Potatoes, bacon and cheese.  But Aunt Aimee says that can have other fillings as well.  I enjoyed having a taste of some Polish food.

After dinner my new friends and I went outside to play on the deck.  Freddy Frog, Shaggy Lion, Aisha, and Patches are my new friends.  We played with my new Dino toy and had a lot of fun.  After we were done playing, we sat down and talked.  I learned that Freddy is the only one from Canada.  Aisha is from another planet out of this universe.  Shaggy is from Poland, and Patches is from England.  I look forward to learning more about them, and to tell them more about my home and Mommy.

Right now, I am off to watch some cartoons with my friends and Aunt Aimee.... :D

Tonight I watched The Smurfs with my new friends.  I really enjoyed it.  I think Papa Smurf is one interesting smurf, and I think Smurfette is pretty cute.  I hope I get to see The Smurfs again.

Aunt Aimee is telling me it's bed time.  So, I shall wash up, and say my prayers.  I am even going to get a bedtime story read to me, I am so happy.

I wonder how my Mommy is doing...Good Night Mommy, I shall write more tomorrow xoxox your little Puffalumps

Today, it has been raining all day here.  So, have spent all day in the house.  Had some breakfast this morning, and then watched some cartoons with Aisha.

Around 10 am Aunt Aimee went to pick the mail up, and boy was that exciting, she received a new member for her family in the mail.  A lovely little teddy bear named Lilac from Germany.  My new friends and I greeted Lilac, and we all talked.  Learning about new places and friends is fun.

Patches, Freddy, Shaggy, Aisha and I played some indoor games today, and then we watched some more cartoons.  Before having a little nap, before dinner time.

Tonight, I am going to watch The Smurfs again.  I am really excited about seeing Smurfette.

I hope tomorrow will bring better weather.

Today was a nice sun shiny day.  Aunt Aimee and I went to the supermarket this morning to do a little shopping.  There was a lot of people in the supermarket, and I was a little bit frigthen, but Aunt Aimee made sure I was safe at all times.

When we got home,  I told all my friends about my adventure being at the supermarket.  They were all very interested in listening about what I had saw.

After lunch, I played a board game with Freddy.  It was called snakes and ladders.  I've never played that game before, but it was rather fun.

I watched a cartoon called Beetlejuice this afternoon.  It was kind of scary, but also rather funny.  My friends and I had a good time watching it together.

We sat out on the deck tonight.  I got my very own deck chair to sit in.  I took my new Dino toy with me.  It was very peaceful sitting on the deck, listening to the birds sing.  I've also made friends with Aunt Aimee's dog Solo.

Now, it's time for me to get ready for bed.  So, I shall wash up, say my prayers, and say Good Night on a star to my Mommy xoxo Puffalumps.

Today was Father's Day in Canada.  I celebrated this with Aunt Aimee's family.  We were also celebrating Uncle Walter's and Aunt Aimee's mother's birthdays.  We had a bbq chicken, potatoes, and veggies.  Followed up by some cake.  The cake was really delicious.

After dinner, I helped mow the lawn with Aisha.  I had a good time riding around on the John Deere.

Anyway, it's off to bed for me.  Good Night, everyone.  xoxo Puffalumps

It's a very beautiful day here.  The sun is out, the sky is blue and hardly any clouds.  This morning I went to Shoppers Drug Mart with Aunt Aimee, to pick up some medication.  Then we went over to Food Basics to get some Orange Juice.  I'm still a bit frighten of being in the bigger stores, but Aunt Aimee makes sure that I am safe.

When we came home I hung out with Rusty.  He's Aunt Aimee's Red Bellied Parrot.  He can talk and laugh, so I had fun hanging out with him.

Now it's time for a nap, and maybe write some more later :)

Today has been an interesting day.  I was in an earthquake and survived, lol.  This afternoon a mini earthquake hit Owen Sound.  It was scary at the time, because I didn't know what was going on.  Everything was shaking, and there was a loud noise.  Thankfully it only lasted a few seconds.  It was a 5.0.  Can you believe my first trip away from home, and I end up in an earthquake?  How cool is that!!

After dinner tonight, I got to see Aunt Aimee's model 1955 Chev car.  It was cool.  I got to have my picture taken with it.  She says, that on Sunday if the weather is nice, she is going to take me to see "Wings and Wheels".  I am looking forward to that.

I watched "How to Train Your Dragon" with Aunt Aimee and my friends tonight.  I have to admit that at certain parts I started crying.  But it was a really good movie.

It's now bedtime....Good Night, Mommy.  xoxo Puffalumps

Yesterday, I went to the doctor's with Aunt Aimee.  I got to play around with the blood pressure cuff.  I had fun, while she was having her appointment.

This morning, I helped Aunt Aimee take some cans and boxes out to recycle.  There were a lot of big truck at the recycling depot, and I was enjoying watching them load and unload stuff.

Right now, I am watching Quick Draw McGraw.  I've never seen this cartoon before, and it's pretty funny.

Hope to write more later.  xoxo Puffalumps

Today was a nice sunny day, but a little on the chilly side.  Aunt Aimee tells me this is not normal weather for summer here in Canada.  I am hoping it will start warming up again.

Tonight after dinner, Aunt Aimee took me to a classic car show.  I got to see old cars and trucks.  I had a lot of fun.

It's now bedtime.  So I am off for a good nights sleep.  After I have my bedtime story of course.  xoxo Puffalumps

Today is Canada Day.  Happy Birthday, Canada.  I have been celebrating Canada all day with Aunt Aimee, and my friends.  We watched the Canada Day special from Ottawa.  The Queen of England is visiting Canada, and she was at the celebration on Parliament Hill.  Some of the acts they had were pretty entertaining, other ones made you wonder why they were even there....

For dinner we had bugers off the BBQ and we had cake.  It was a great time with my friends, and we had a lot of fun partying.  The party is not over yet.  Aunt Aimee is going to let me stay up for the fireworks tonight.  I am really excited about that :)

Canada's birthday is a lot of fun  ▉♣▉

Today I went to Grandma Lambe's local food market with Aunt Aimee.  She was looking for fresh local veggies and berries.  It was quite a nice market with a lot of fresh ontario products.  Aunt Aimee got some Strawberries, potatoes, onions, and tomatoes.

Today, I went to Harrison Park.  I got to play on the swings and had a lot of fun.  I also learned a bit about Harrison Park while I was there.

Harrison Park is an urban dream, with more than 40 hectares of streams, trails, gardens, playground, forest and green space, right in the heart of Owen Sound.

It's often called Owen Sound's "jewel in the crown", the park features dining and recreation facilities, a full service campground, boat rentals, a bird sanctuary, mini - golf, basketball courts, pool and trails.

Harrison Park is named after John Harrison, who bought the land in 1875 and worked toward preserving it in its natural state for the rest of his life. He cleared the undergrowth, planted trees, and opened the property to the public. By 1890, it was known as “ Harrison’s Pleasure Grounds.”

After his death, John Harrison’s family offered the land to the city for half its appraised value – so long as it remained a public park forever.

The Black History Cairn, an intriguing monument to the city’s first black settlers, escaped slaves who followed the Underground Railroad to its most northerly terminus, here in Owen Sound. An emancipation picnic and festival is held in the park every August.  (I visited the cairn, and found it quite interesting...it's also very pretty with all the colours).

I also went to the Marine Rail Museum today.  It was a lot of fun, and I got to see a caboose, and anchors and things.  Apparently Owen Sound use to have passenger trains, and a lot of boats that shipped a lot of local goods.  There are no trains in Owen Sound any more, and the boats only come in to dock or gather up grain.

I saw the anchor from the MS Hibou.  Hibou means "Owl" in french.  The MS Hibou sunk on November 21, 1936, just 10 minutes from Owen Sound.  There is now a conservation area called the Hibou, because it's located right where the Hibou went down.

I've had a really good day, even if it's been super hot here again today.  I think I should head to bed.  Good Night.  xoxo Puffalumps

Today, I went to visit the Owen Sound harbour.  It was really pretty there today, and the water was so calm, it almost looked like glass.  Then Aunt Aimee took me to see a tea party, and I had a lot of fun playing around on the stone, where the tea party is set up.  The view from the area where the tea party is set up, was stunning.  You get a very lovely view of Georgian bay from that spot.

Tonight is my last night in Owen Sound.  Tomorrow I leave for my Aunt Marissa's home in Quebec.  I better get to bed, because it's going to be a long trip.  Good Night.  xoxo Puffalumps
