McFloozy

It was a pretty exciting day for me. I went on a bike ride with McFloozy and Palette!

This was my first time out of the attic, which I call The Forgotten Land. Being on the Minuteman Bike Path was, literally, a breath of fresh air.

On our bike ride, we went to Lexington, Massachusetts.

That's a very historic place.  It's where the first shots of the American Revolution were fired at the Battle of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. Here's more information about Lexington.

In Massachusetts, they celebrate Patriot's Day on April 19. A lot of people run the Boston Marathon, but not McFloozy. She would rather ride her bike.

In Lexington, I got my picture taken with this famous statue of a minuteman. Palette was busy dancing in the pansies, but I am more of an intellectual and wanted to learn more about the history of the place.

I also saw the place where the minutemen gathered. It's that yellow house in the picture.

We rode back to Arlington, where I got to see another famous statue!

Uncle Sam is a famous figure in American legend. He was a real person, named Samuel Wilson! And he was born in Arlington on September 13, 1766.

Because I love history so much, I wanted my picture taken with the statue. I sure do like his hat!

Today is a very exciting day for me. It is the 2010 Worldwide Random Release of ToyVoyagers, and I am being released in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Oh, I do hope somebody finds me and takes me with them to interesting places. I hope they put my stories and pictures up here on my travelog so McFloozy will know where I have gone.

This is very exciting, and a little scary too. I am being very brave, and will behave politely on all my adventures. ;)

I was finally found in the locker room of Gold's Gym.  Unfortunately, no travel plans till June, so I've been bored at home for a month or so in Wakefield with KathyB's cat Pea.  Pea says she would much rather be at home, and not traveling.

However, me, Stretch, I can't wait for my next trip! :p

Didn't want to pay enough for a direct flight, so have a layover in Chicago.  Now I know what a 'layover' is.  Can't wait to get to Albuquerque ! B)

YAY!  I made it to Albuquerque.  So, that's how this city name is spelled.  This is where Bugs Bunny should have taken that 'left' !

Now i'm in a small town ~ 75 miles south of ABQ called Socorro.  and, it's about 103 degrees.  Talk about HOT.  At least it's a 'dry heat'.  Yeah, right.  :o

Hi there,
Finally made it to Boston, or as they call it 'Beantown'.
And, I finally got to see Sky Scrapers!
First was the John Hancock tower, famous for it's windows that fell out.

Next, I got to see the Prudential tower, a few stories shorter than the Hancock, but still impressive.  Too bad we didn't get to go up there.  That would be a great view!  And, I could have gotten a beer!!    B)
