Evelyn Wu Posted Dec 7, 2010, 1:16 pm	I quit the job at the factory obviously and I am back to single.I hope I did't let you down that I am sooo old. I here just say I AM READY to fly around the world.I am so depressed without cigars but my shrink said all I need  was fresh air and exotic things.

It was Christmas Time here - so they have a tree inside the house - strange people... And outside there is snow. Where did you sent me to, Mum? I will write more soon. love Archer
RikeH Posted Jan 7, 2011, 7:40 pm	Hello Mum, today we went to a small town called Bad Oldesloe. RikeH went to school there - many years ago. The weather was not so nice - it was getting warmer - and most of the snow is away now. There is a small river in the city. This was the view into the other direction. There were nice old buildings. And an interesting monument. The last things we saw were a nice fountain and the town hall. Many greetings Archer
RikeH Posted Jan 11, 2011, 7:59 pm	Hi Mum, today we made a walk around Sülfeld.Look, this is the nice old church. On the other side of the street is the pharmacy. Don't worry - I am not ill. I only liked this building. Another beautiful building is this old school. The mayor lives here. The house has a nice big door. Next week we will go to Hamburg - just wait for more updates. yours Archer
RikeH Posted Jan 21, 2011, 9:53 pm	Hello Mum, We went to Hamburg today. RikeH had to work, but maybe we can make a walk in her lunch break. We took the train to Hamburg. It was dark outside. Well - we helped RikeH with her work all the day - and didn't went out on the lunch break,  but we made a walk after the work was done. This is the place where we worked: Near to it is a theatre. We went to a nice lake in the city centre. It was a great view! On the way to the Trainstation we stopped at a nice house - called Levante-Haus. Look - there are funny animals in it. The house is really beautiful. We had to look, where our train will start. A view over the trainstation. We drove back with this train. Mum, I am proud to say, that I didn't smoke since I am here in Germany.  Love Archer
RikeH Posted Feb 1, 2011, 9:28 pm	Hi Mum, A new TV arrived today - he is called Bobi and seemed to be a nice guy. He arrived just in the right time, because we will make a nice trip this weekend. We visited a nice town called Nienburg. This is the townhall. There was a funny fountain. With aspargus. Can you see me? It was time to eat something delicious. But no aspargus. Then we continued our walk. What a nice tower. And a big church. How beautiful. I loved this statue in front of the church. The last building was a museum. We didn't went into it, because the weather was so great. Then we jumped into the car. Tomorrow we will see something great - RikeH told us, but we didn't know what. Love Archer
RikeH Posted Feb 6, 2011, 7:28 pm	Hi Mum, We went to a Darts Tournament in Halle. Many great players were there. Here you can see Phil Taylor - the best of all, I think. Here were some of the other players - it was great to stay near to the players. So many people were here - but only two bunnies. It was so interesting. We had such a great day. Maybe I will become a Darts-Player. Love Archer
RikeH Posted Feb 13, 2011, 5:12 pm	Hi Mum, we visited a Hanseatic city today - called Lübeck. It is a very nice city - and the City Centre is a Unesco Place. We started with the Holstentor. It is very famous in Germany - it was on one bill for many years here. Now you see it from the other side. There were nice buildings next to the river. And old storehouses. Then we went to the place next to the townhall. There was a skating rink. We wanted to try it - what they hadn't small shoes for us. So we continued our walk. The last photo shows the other side of the townhall - a very beautiful house. Love Archer
RikeH Posted Feb 27, 2011, 6:12 pm	Hello Mum, Today it is time to say goodbye for me, but yesterday we went to Hamburg. Here you see me in front of the planetarium. We saw a great movie about the stars, then we made a walk through the park. There was a big lake - with a little ice on it. Nice trees were next to the lake. Fortunately no one was in danger in the lake, so we made this photo. Later we went into the city center. Here you see the townhall. Near to it there is the Lake Alster - with nice buildings around. I loved the view - and the clouds were so beautiful. Now I will jump into my envelope and go to my next host. I said goodbye to Dicker Kumpel. We became good friends. He and Bobi gave me a big hug. I missed breathing and I was so nervous to see where I ve my next visit. First I tried to call you but I think you wasnt at home or I forget the right number Do you see me? We went to the camping of the hosts parents. The father had birthday and I ate two big cookies and drink some coffee There was a surfboard and a barbecue... I think we have to come back So, I went back by bicycle after this great day
eurydike Posted Mar 14, 2011, 3:59 pm	Hello, I´m still happy here in Germany. We have a lot of fun. Now I´m not alone anymore. Splash and Snuggles arrived. The are also rodents but I dont understund there rat language. They really have funny rat tails. I also met some other rodents. They also speak with a dialect. They are called Kolja, Toffifee and Mürfel. I was so hungry and Kolja didnt see me... but then... I stopped eating when he saw me and ran away... PUH, nothing happend After this adventure I watched TV (no, not too much.. my host is taking care.. ) It was a 3D Movie Huges, Archer! PS.: Didnt smoke here because my host also doenst smoke

We took a sunbath on the "Hoge Hill", the highest point (dune) in Domburg. A great view At least I saw a lighthouse

I´ve a lot of fun in Germany and my host is waiting for her marriage, so she has a lot to do But now I wanna show you some impressions of the last weeks We visited the Library and took some books for the hosts lessons. She is a teacher. and then we drove to Düsseldorf. We ate something and watched old cars. *YAMMY My hosts car isn´t a Cabrio but we wanted to drive outside... We sat there but... she said we have to come in  Our host was a little bit confused, when we used her wardrobe WE HAD A LOT OF FUN  Haha, here you just can see my ears... (left side) (we had to be fast because it wasn´t allowed to photograph) My mission to meet rabbit girl friend is not that easy... but I felt a little bit in love with a cow She was called ERNA I still didn´t smoke Take care

The host dad was to shy to come on the pictures but the bride was happy to celebrate with me )) It was hard not to smoke on a party but I was hard and didnt smoke But I think instead of smoking I love to eat now The wedding cake was too good My clique and me we enjoyed this painting what the friends did for my hosts And I took care of a few presents (and had to take care of the ballon... I LOVE IT)
eurydike Posted Jun 27, 2011, 7:23 am	Hey Mommy, we had a great time in Belgium with the scouts. First the weather wasn´t fine and my host was sick but then it was a great weekend. We went to Belgium by bus. It was so much fun and everywhere German scouts (11-16 years old) and of course the leaders ... The first night was cold and it was pretty good to sleep with my friends so we could warm each other In the morning I enjoyed the silence because I woke up really early. So I took the time to read a book. But this was the last time for reading. In this camp, called Intercamp were around 2500 scouts from different countries (England, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, America, Canada, Tschechien, Poland and Germany). It was a great view from the banner and gaming point to the tents The Intercamp flag was yellow like the sun and so much children played ... me too My host printed a T-Shirt with the Intercamp 2011 Logo and I tried to wear it, but it was a bit to small and she let me use her Gilwell ... WOWWWWWW It was a great time at Intercamp 2011.
eurydike Posted Sep 2, 2011, 8:55 pm	Hello Guys, I was on honeymoon... ok .. it wasn´t my honeymoon but the hosts honeymoon. It was pretty good. But let´s start at the beginning. We landed in Dublin and they lost our luggage so we had to wait about 2 hours but I played a little bit. The first week I gone for a daily donkey walk. It was so great to see all the green and the nature. The donkeys "John-Willy" and "Hero were really nice. The donkey on the picture is "John-Willy", he had to take me in his luggage all the time .. The nature was so adorable. I saw a lot of fantastic places and ruins. This is "Hero", he was the younger one. It was a great time in the nature but there wasn´t so much time to photograph all the impressions. So, I went on to Dublin City for a week and saw so much more and had more time to stop.
eurydike Posted Sep 2, 2011, 9:04 pm	The second week was so loud and full of music and fun. I started with a sightseeing through the city. I saw a man who made great pictures with chalk. The weather was good but on the "needle" I had a big cloud in the backround I went to the Leprechaun Museum (don´t do that, if you´ll go to Dublin - I was bored but the Leprechaun was so funny that I wanted to show him to you) Here was the entry of the "losing money museum" My host Mom had fun with me Of course I saw a lot of pubs and I loved the atmosphere in there ... but I just took a picture for you infront of the pub. (too much beer ...  ) It was a little bit romantic on the bridge in Dublin. The half penny bridge is called like this because in the 19th century the took a half penny from the people so they could cross it and go to the other side. Now there are a lot more bridges and you don´t have to pay anymore I also visited the christ church. It was a typical Irish church. One day I met some nice girls but they didn´t spoke to me... sad but so I just stopped by and left them soon. Here you can see the half penny bridge Of course I drunk some Guiness inthe Guiness Brewery I also visited a great museum called DUBLINIA It was a museum with a viking and a medieval section. The man was a bit scary Sad but true the children shoes were often made from worn out adult one Sad but true they got us in the Medieval Little joke but I took the host Mom with me for these pictures It wasn´t allowed to take any photos in the library of the Trinity College. But it was so great that I bought 2 postcards and made a picture in the hotel for you One of the last days I went to Bray. It is 45 minutes away from Dublin and I had a great day on the beach and in the sun. We got the first Geocache in Europe. This was a highlight. I climbed a little bit for it but the view was adorable.

Back
