Then another bear from the window joined me. I'd never spoken to the window crew before, and us box toys were allways jealous that those guys were special enough to see out. But this grey bear was lovely and made me feel less alone and scared on the trip to our new home.
Robbie (the grey bear) and I were chatting about our experience of being a homeless toy when another bear came along and welcomed us. This bear was called Mishuta and told us that he didn't live here, he was just visiting before jetting off to his next destination. He was a toyvoyager! I'd never heard of that word before, but it sounded fantastic. Then my new owner told me that I too would become a toyvoyager after she had spent some time with me here first. And so my travel blog was created, and here I am

We did get to see a beautiful peacock though and climb trees. We also played on the playground where I rode a horse! Okay, he was pretend, but still 
Then we went for a walk and I found a nice picture of a bird painted onto a trunk-like bench.

When we got on the next train it was really quiet so us TVs escaped the bag and went a bit crazy. I gave PinkyHH a piggback ride along the chairs
Then we got all interlectual and read some newspapers, although I'm not very good at reading... Pinky said she could read upside down!
When we got to Bradford there was a friendly boy called Tristan who wanted to help us with our photos. And one of the cats gave me a kiss!
Ooh, in the morning of our trip to Bradford we also said goodbye to Mishuta
We helped him into his envelope and wished him look, it is sad to see him go but I know he will have a great time on the rest of his travels.
Today Buzz Bluejay arrived which was very exciting, I think he will be fun to be around

I looked out warily...
It was quiet on the outside...
But suddenly somebody appeared in front of me!!!
It was so unexpected, that I was frightened and climbed back into the envelope! "Oh, my God!" - I thought, -"what a shaggy fright!"
Then he began to pull me out! Can you imagine this?! "It's an impudence!" - I was shocked.
But when I looked closely at him, he turned out just a little brown bear and wasn't so terrible.
He waved to me and said: "Hi!" It was MokoMoko.
MokoMoko showed me his surprise, that he made with his mommy specially for me! This was so nice! There and then I forgot about all anxieties and calmed down.
I got our presents from the envelope. And showed them to MokoMoko. He was delighted and viewed everything very long time.
And certainly began to taste anything he could get. These bears!
Then Moko offered to make tea with all sorts of sweeties.
He opened red bilberry jam. Oh, it smelled very pleasantly! And honey. And when tea was ready, we began the sumptuous feast in our cosy little gathering

But there is no need to be sad, I think. Better I'll tell you about our yesterday walk.
In the evening we were at the centre of Kiyev, we had not a lot of time to view it adequately, but somewhere we visited.
It's an Independence Square - the main square of Kiyev and Ukraine on the whole. Great place! In the centre you can see an Independence Column. At the weekends and holidays this road, which you see at the forefront, is closed for cars and becomes to big pedestrian road.
We didn't take pictures of the other side of square, because it was in shade at that time. We decided to do this another time.
So this is the main post office of city (on the right side). Very big building!
I saw several fountains here and even one artificial waterfall. They are not very big, but nice. It's one of them. Looks like a giant dandelion!
Also at the square there are many interesting monunets ant sculptures. This is sculpture of cossack Mamai. My host didn't know - was he a real person or just a popular hero, but we liked him and his war-horse!
Do you think, that this is a real double decker bus, mom? Maybe it was some time. But now it's just a ticket office.
Then we walked at adjacent streets. There were many beautiful buildings here. Katusha said - it's a pitty, that today this architectural style is not so popular. Formerly each house had its own character.
Next interesting thing that I saw was - flower clock on the lawn. So big!
It's another one little bit of Independence Square. We took a picture ot temperature. It was +21C.
Also I want to show you one more fountain. It is decorated with statues of three brothers Kie, Schek, Horiv and their sister Libed. Very strange names were in ancient times.
Sister's name is more clear at least. It comes from the russian word "lebed' " (swan). They were the founders of the city.
That is all as yet. Than we got a real hungry and run home

It's me, it's me! Hello! Today was very sunny day and we visited Feofaniya Park. It is very big. And so my walk was very interesting. I don't want to tire you with long tellings, anyway you can see all my today's adventures.
That's how I traveled. Very comfortable way!
It's a cloister in the distance.

There are severel ponds in the park. Some people bathed in this ponds and we were envious a little.
Sun-bathes on the bank of little artificial creek -
Oooh! I saw a tadpole in the water!

Also there were many strange things in this park. Such this -

or that hive -
But you know - I had nothing against, that bees were not at home
On the whole I liked Feofaniya Park. Because here you can feel calmly yourself after noisy city.

I just want to tell, what happened today! It was the real downpour!
With thunderclaps and lightnings! Scary a little, but when you sit at warm home, it is even interesting to watch through the window.
We even had time to photograph one lightning. Not very bright, but I like it.
And when rain was over, I saw rainbow! It was very nice and meant, that everything will be ok now.

My host mixed bilberries with sour cream and sugar for me. And with curds and sour cream for MokoMoko. It's his favourite.
Mmmmm! It was very tasty and we ate it all!
Then MokoMoko went to sleep in front of TV, "to provide myself with fat" as he said. Maybe he is preparing for winter, as all bears. And I with my host went for a walk. Because we are not so lazy-bones.
It's me in the underground.
We arrived again to the Independence Square. From there was the beginning of our today's route.
Very amusing sculpture - two street lamps on the date.
Then we went up to the street.
To the next square. There were very beautiful churches.
It's the monument to princess Olga, Kiril&Mefodyi (founders of slavic alphabet) and some Saint at the left.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Then we came to the beginning of Andreyevskyi Slope - one of ancient and popular tourist's streets in Kiyev. Just at that time here were several weddings. They like to be photographed here.
There are many booths of souvenirs here.
We didn't come down the end of Slope. And turned to the side street.
Here we saw great panorama.
And found an apricot-tree at the precipice.
Apricots were ripe and we tasted some.
Then we came to the amazing place. Very multicoloured place.
Also there were many little man on pillows!
And "Girl with puppies" fountain.
And the little Prince statue.
And one more foutain with zebras huging one another
Houses here were very old.
All in all everything was very interesting for me. Then we turned back home. And saw people plaing with frisbee on the way. I want to try someday too
That's all my day, mommy. Today I saw many wonderful things and places and I content with my trip!

And MokoMoko too. At first we just watched. This picture will be for our host's Mom, as Katusha said. She can paint flowers not very well. But her Mom likes lilac. So we tried to paint something like lilac.
MokoMoko suggested, that he can be a manager of this operation. Generally he likes to pose himself as some bigwig. It's very funny to wach him at this time. So pompous little bear!
I liked to be a painter!
Then we decided to do a break, while our host put colours away. And found cherry-plums on the window-sill.
Our Mister manager shared cherry-plums. Sharing was not quit right, as I suspected. But it was not a malicious intent.
Soon he understood this and shared anew. And said, that he sometimes makes mistakes in a round things count. With others counts everything is ok.
Then we helped my host to cook fried zucchini.
We sliced it at first.
And rolled in flour with spicery. And fried these circles, which then sprinkled with a dill.
It was so tasty!
So you see - I'm ok, Mom!

Privet! (it's "Hi" in russian). Yesterday we went for a walk to the river-boat station! We came to the station Pochtovaya Square. (Postal Square) at first.
Then got to other side of street. There was excellent view to the embankment and Dnepr (main river of Ukraine).
Apricot trees on the river bank.
There are many pleasure boats and motor ships here.
They travel back and forth with excursions.
I meet interesting couple. Fishing is their hobby.
Then we went to the funicular (cable railway) to get up to the top. This is an entrance.
There were many peoople for some reason, but we didn't wait for a long time.
It's me on the top. Lifting was very short, but I liked it. And we cut a big detour down.
It's an installation - funicular in miniature.
I liked little tram most of all!
Then we met a folk singer. She was playing the pandora (ukraine folk instrument) and singing some sad song.
Haha! I even saddled a lion! That was just a fountain, but a lion nevertheless.
It's Khrescatik - the main street of Kiyev. Very busy.
This is cinema ("Kiyev" ). It is one of the oldest movie theatres in a capital.
After our walk we were very tired and hungry. And went to my host's favourite cafe near our house.
It's not very big, but comfortable.

I didn't write so long. Sorry, mom! There was no time to tell something about my adventures. And we haven't good internet connection here. At home speed is very low and I can't upload photos. Now I'm in i-net cafe and can show you some of my adventures.
Last three days we were at the seaside. In Ordjonikidze. It's a little settlement in the east of Crimea. Very beautiful place! My host was here first too.
So many sea-photos. It's because the Black Sea and Crimean mountains - main sights here.
Oh, this is very funny passengers on a motorcycle. We went by them every day on the way to the beach.

Our city at 6 am.
Me and MokoMoko. We became good friends in this time. I don't think how we will part with each other. Not for a while yet.

Hi, Mom! I was in the city today. Simferopol is the capital of Crimea. It's not very big. My host lived here several years before removing to Kiyev. There are many tourists in summer here. And a lot of foreign students from China, India and african countries all year long.
This is Crimean Dramatic Theatre.
Monument to Alexander Pushkin.
We came at a little book store and bought beautiful post cards for postcrossing. With famous crimean sights.
And got a little thought from the big cup with useful advices and thoughts. It says: "The only one thing that can happen with me today - it's a one another fantastic passing day." If Katusha translated right.
And I think our day was really great.
Not very good focus, but you can see, that this building with only one wall. Very old wall
Well, that was my day in Simferopol.

It's me again. This day was our last day in Crimea. We came to the main railway station beforehand. And walked around it, while were waiting.

Near we found a little park with wood sculpture. They were funny sometimes.
We at our train already.
I saw a piece of the Black sea at parting.
Then we had a tea. A glass-holder was with gulls. And went to sleep.
When I woke up next morning, we were in Kiyev already.

We bought big cup for my host's Dad, sets of cards with Crimean and Kiyev views for friends, wax pencils and lemur YooHoo for their little kids.
We veiwed postcards a long time. They were very nice!
Then we decided to choose a postcard for my next host.
"With mermaid, I think, will be great!" - MokoMoko offered. And I agreed with him.
Then, when everything was prepared, all my friends here came to say goodbye to me.
It was very touching. And MokoMoko even became upset a little.
But when Katusha promised to cook his favourite banana pancakes, he cheered up! He so food-driven.
So tomorrow we will go for some sweeties for my new host, then to the post office. And I'll set out on my further journey.

good news - I arrived in Germany and went out of my envelope.
Murph waited for me – he will be my host here.
I told Murph that there was more in the envelope and we both had a look.
I brought sweets and a wonderful postcard for Murph.
Thanks Katusha - Murph and Hobi were very happy to get it
After the long travel in the small envelope I wanted to stretch my legs. Murph showed me the spa gardens in Bad Salzdetfurth.
There were two Salines in the Spa gardens. In the Past people used them to make salt.
Today the people are not working here, they sit in front of the Salines and enjoy the healthy air. Of course we tried it out.
We saw many colorful and really beautiful flowers!
It was so hot today! So we made a rest in this pavilion.
Bad Salzdetfurth is an old mining-town. Everywhere in the town you can find mining equipment.
Murph is a funny guy – I am sure that we will have a lot of fun together.

Today a big envelope arrived. Maybe it was Jujube? The poor guy was on his way to Murph for 8 weeks now. We kept our fingers crossed.
Of course we opened the envelope. And who came out of the envelope?...
… Jujube! He made it!!!
We were all very happy, and then he told us about his horrible time. He spent weeks in the customs.
Of course he wanted to go out, after the long trip. He loves flowers. Murph and I went to the spa gardens on Friday – and we knew that there were a lot of nice flowers. So we all went to the gardens.
I didn’t see this owl on Friday – she is beautiful, isn’t it?
Then we found a cozy place in a tree – can you find me?
I relaxed and had a look at Jujube. He jumped from one flower to the other and looked so happy!
We tried to follow him…
…but then we decided to search a nice place and wait for him.
Suddenly Jujube called us. He loved this lower – and it was really pretty. So I wanted my own photo, too.
Finally we all sat together in the Pavilion and talked a lot!

today we went to Lamspinge. There is a big park with a nice playground.
Here you can see the Abbey, where the park belongs to.
In this park the Lamme starts – the little river, that flows through Bad Salzdetfurth.
There was a big roll on the playground. Unfortunately it is full of graffiti.
But there was a wonderful slide.
We wanted to use the seesaw, but Jujube was too big, so it didn't work.
The ride on the ropeway was so funny.
Then we had a rest on this roll.
At the end we found this beautiful water wheel.
We had so much fun.

Today we drove to Hildesheim and visited the rosarium there. In front of the rosarium we found these two palm trees – it was like being on holiday.
This is the entrance to the Magdalenengarten.
Of course we found many beautiful flowers.
And there was a wonderful sundial.
We took a rest and enjoyed the sunshine.
I loved this rose most.
Now I wanted to show you a photo of the whole garden.
There were many statues.
This pavilion is in the middle of the park.
Hildesheim is the rose–town. This flower is named after Hildesheim.
At the entrance there was a funny collection box. Bine tried to put me into it, but fortunately I was too big.
What a beautiful garden!

Today we went to Hildesheim again. Murph wanted to show us his famous places.
Here you see the „Kehrwiederturm“
This is a beautiful street with many frame houses.
This wonderful fountain is a memory for a Jewish synagogue.
There are nice paintings on this house.
This Statue shows the indian goddess Shiva
Can you see, what is there in front of her feet?
On our way back we passed a field full of flowers. HoBi had to stop, because we wanted to make photos with the flowers.
As a nice last photo I chose this beautiful sunflower.

Today it is Murph’s birthday. He reveived a nice card from his best friend Dicker Kumpel.
We sang a wonderful birthday song for Murph.
Then he blew out the candles.
We gave him our gift.
He unwrapped it - and he was so happy about the great game.
We had coffee and a cake.
Then we played ‚hit the pot‘. It was so funny!
First I went into the wrong direction.
But then I found the pot.
I won sweets!!!
What a wonderful birthday party!

Yesterday we made a nice trip to Derneburg.
Here you can see the Castle of Derneburg.
We walked along the Lavespfad.
First we went along this wonderful Lake.
This house was really beautiful.
Then we saw old houses of fishermen.
We went into the forest and found an old teahouse.
We had to go upstairs. It was exhausting.
At the End of the stairs we found this:
A pyramid – in the middle of Germany – in the middle of a forest – it was great!
Today Jujube wanted to travel to the next host. We searched a nice postcard for her.
Then we said good-bye to Jujube…
And she jumped into her envelope.

tomorrow I will travel to Essen.
But today I wanted to go into the forest with Murph. We wanted to search mushrooms. Then this happened! The sky was very dark – it looked like some rain soon.
But we really wanted to go into the forest. We asked Bine, if she would allow us to go. She thought about it – then she had the great idea! Bine had rain capes for us.
So we were able to start!
And we found wonderful mushrooms. A beefsteak fungus.
and a famous Maitake – Hen oft he woods
Here we had a short rest.
We found this wonderful red mushroom. Wasn't it beautiful? It was a Conical wax cap.
On the way home we had sunshine....
At home we searched for a nice postcard.
Then I said goodbye to Murph.
And I jumped into my envelope.

What you need?
Noodles
Bolognese sauce (2 glasses)
One cup cream
Grated cheese (BlackCat uses Emmentaler) One package (here 200grams)
Okay, let’s start the cooking.
Preheat the oven on 180°C upper and lower heat.
Please cook the noodles as long as they need (normally 10 minutes). In the time while the noodles are cooking, you can mix the Bolognese sauce with the cream.
When the noodles are ready, get them out of the pot.
Now you put the noodles in a casserole and put the sauce mix on it. Mix it.
Put the cheese on it.
And now the casserole needs 15 minutes in the oven.
Here you see how it looks in the oven.
After 15 minutes it is ready!
Now, enjoy your meal!

today we went to a farm where BlackCat had to choose one pumpkin for the pumpkin carving she wants to do for Halloween.
It was a really hard choice, you can see there were thousands of pumpkins.
But she found one and I hope we can do pumpkin carving with her later.

Later today the sky turned grey and BlackCat got scared. Suddenly hail was coming down from the sky and we were all watching how it looked…BlackCat said not long and we will have snow. We will see. Snow is better than hail, I think.

today we went into the city and had a walk at the Thyssen Krupp quarter, which is really new.
This house is the so called „Stammhaus“ from Alfried Krupp and his family. It was totally destroyed in the Second World War, but 1960/61 an original rebuilt was built only 100meters away from the original place. It is a symbol for the beginnings of the Krupp area, which made Essen to the city it is now.
Here you can see some steelworkers at work.
The new headquarter of Thyssen Krupp.
With a lot water in front of it.
That is the area around it. You can see the tv tower on the second picture.
The black house in the background is the town hall. The one in the front is a car seller.
Here you can see what is next to the car seller. A furniture store (Kröger), Ikea and McDonalds.

Today I arrived in Germany. And believe it or not – I met Dicker Kumpel, who is the best friend of Murph, who was my host a month ago.
Dicker Kumpel gave me a warm welcome – and told me that he knows me from the photos of Murph and me.
Then he introduced me to his other guests.
I made a walk in the room – and thought of you, when I saw this heart. I miss you, Mum!
But then I met this friendly giraffe and now I am happy again!

Dicker Kumpel is on some photos – we loved the one with Architecture…

There was no photo of me for this year – but no problem, I didn’t travel in 2010, but we are sure to see me here for the next award.

The weather wasn’t so nice today, but we wanted to make a walk.
I found some late flowers in the grass.
We walked over a small bridge and saw a nice river.
Then we had a rest in a little hut.

Yesterday my holiday with RikeH and Dicker Kumpel started. We had a nice flight to Grand Canary and then we went onto our ship.
This was the night view from our balcony. Behind me you can see Las Palmas.
And this is a part of our ship.
We all were happy to be on the ship!
Today I found two postcards from the ship - so you can see it.
In the morning I went onto the balcony and saw an Island - it was Lanzarote, today we only passed it - but we will come back later and visit it.
At the beginning of a cruise there is always a test for an emergency - so all people and ToyVoyager on board know, what to do.
Here I am with the lifejacket and Princess Sarah, because we are so small we can take one together.
Of course we hope that we never need it.
Back on the balcony it was time to relax. You can see us in the hammock.
We had a great view!

I woke up this morning and found out that we are in Morocco.
First I saw a big ship in the harbour.
We made a tour by bus today - and our first stop was high about the city. Look, what a wonderful view.
There was an old monument on the hill. Maybe an old castle? Who knows...
In the city we saw the mosque.
We visited the market.
Before we went back to the ship we walked along the long beach. Can you remember it?
We saw it from the hill. Behind me you can see some white words on the hill, they are from the national hymn of Morocco.
I thought about swimming in the water, but decided not to do it.

we had another lazy day on the ship.
It was time to show our cabin.
We like most this place on the couch next to the window.
Here you see me in the bathroom.
And we love this place - called Minibar. This is one part.
And this is the other.
In the afternoon we all had fun with our X-Box. First we played a quiz.
The we sang wonderful songs.
After having fun it was time to work - here I sat on the balcony and wrote my travellog.
When we all were ready we relaxed on our chair in the sun.

this morning I got up early - and I saw Santa Cruz on the Island Tenerife. Tenerife is in Spain - so I have one more country for my life mission.
We started our tour over the Island in the mountains - the Anaga Mountain Street.
I had a great view.
We saw a city in the Valley.
There was the Teide - the highest mountain of Spain.
We went there later - first we visited the Loro Parque. I met penguins there.
Look - what a wonderful flower.
We continued our trip and went to the Teide Mountain. There were strange plants here.
Behind me you can see the Teide Mountain. We decided not to climb onto the Teide.
Next to the Teide there were some strange shaped Rocks called Los Roques.
What a wonderful day on Tenerife.

We did a nice boat trip - and watched out for dophins and pilot whales.
But first you can see the view from our balcony. This was San Sebastian on the La Gomera Island.
Then we were on our little boat.
Where were the dolphins and whales?
I saw a lot!
We saw many more of them - but it was not so easy to take photos - with us ToyVoyagers and the animals.
Then we made a little cruise along the Coast.
Can you remember the Teide Mountain we saw yesterday - we saw it today, too.
In the evening we found delicious chocolate in our cabin!

today we rent a car and drove over the Lanzarote Island. We started in the Jameos de Aqua - some nice Caves.
There were a nice pool next to the Caves.
We found funny plants again.
Here you can see the pool from another place.
We went to a great outlook - called Mirador del Rio.
I loved the view!
Then we drove to another part of the Island - the national park Timanfaya.
We drove through the Park in a bus - but it was not easy to make good photos there.
These are views over the Park.
The devil is the symbol for the NP.
Later we saw some camels next to the street.
Before we went back to the ship we walked through Arrecife. Here is the beautiful church.
And a nice lake inside the town.
Mum, I know that you've been here years ago - can you remember some of the places I visited?

Another trip by car today. We drove along the Coast and stopped in a little town called Agaete.
This is the church.
We went into it.
There was a wonderful Valley - we had a great view from the end of the street.
Back on the Coast Street we stopped at the Mirador de Balcon.
Later we drove into the Middle of the Island - into a Valley called Barranco de la Aldea.
There were very high mountains and steep and narrow streets.
We stopped in a small town called Tejeda.
This was the funny 'Cruz de Tejeda'.
Our last stop was a place called Terror. It has a strange name, but it was peaceful place with a nice church.

it was a day on the Sea again. On this day it was a little stormy. You can see the waves...
And look at my hair - I am flying.
In the evening I went into the X-Lounge and I drunk my first glass of Champagne.

we started our trip in Casablanca with the Hassan-II-Mosque. It is the third biggest mosque of the World.
We went inside - not many colors, but nice.
It was really interesting.
I really liked this mosque.
Our next stop was the King's Palace. We saw two doors - first the small one...
...later the bigger one.
We went through the streets of Casablanca.
Can you see the beautiful green roofs behind me?
We visited a market with fruits...
...and fish.

yesterday evening we had Champagne - and it was delicious. RikeH didn't spend the evening in our cabin - so we wanted to have more drinks...
We went to our minibar.
Dicker Kumpel climbed into the minibar - and threw the bottles to us.
Ready - we had 4 bottles.
We brought the bottles to our place.
I chose the Havana Club.
The others had other nice drinks.
Hey - the ship moved in a strange way - or did I?

oh - what a night...
...but what a morning
... there must have been something bad in the bottles yesterday.
RikeH told us that a coffee could help. Fortunately we had a machine in our cabin.
I had to fill this funny thing into the machine.
Then we waited for the coffee.
It was yummy. And I felt much better.
We decided not to make much more this day.

today it was St Nicholas' Day. We found a present in our cabin.
Of course we opened it.
Some sweets – great!

Later we started our trip through Funchal. Because we had an awful day yesterday,we decided to take a bus – and having our tour without moving a lot.
As you can maybe the see, the weather was not so nice today.
We loved this fountain and wanted to play there, but the bus didn’t stop.
Then we drove up the hill…
…and had a nice view.
Far away we saw a church, but it was not a famous one.
Then we left Funchal and drove along the coast.
There were terraces, where they grew bananas and other plants.
We drove through a nice little village, but I forgot the name.
Back in Funchal we walked back to our ship. There were three big cruise ships in Funchal today.
This was an old Tower – but not very high.
And another old building.
This was the view from our balcony – one of the other ships and a view over the city of Funchal.
Mum, I am so excited - I have been to 2 countries before we started our cruise. Then we were to Morocco and Spain - and today I was in Portugal. So I completed one of my life missions!!!

Normally we arrived in the next Port in the morning – today it was different. We arrived at noon. So we were able to see it from the distance.
It was the Island La Palma.
We drove to the national park Caldera de Taburiente – I looked out of the window of our bus.
Then we arrived at the Caldera - we had a wonderful view.
We made a nice walk and had other nice views – of course it was always the same crater – but we loved it!
And we had wonderful weather – this was not typical for this time of the year.
Later we went back to Santa Cruz. We stopped at a point called La Concepcion .
There were many palm trees.
And I found these wonderful flowers.

We visited our last Island today – it was Fuerteventura. We made a tour with Jeeps here.
This was a holy mountain.
Then we drove to the Coast. It was really steep there.
Later we went to a big dune. It was great – but really windy.
In the evening we went to the buffet. There were fruits with chocolate and ice sculptures.
This was my last view of the ship in the night.
I really enjoyed the Cruise. Thanks to HoBi for the photo that let me win the Cruise!

Can you see it – I made a trip in a plane. We started in Hamburg.
We went to Cologne. Here you see me with some friends in our hotel room.
We had our own bed.
But to tell the truth – we preferred the armchair.
Then we made a walk through the city. This is the dome.
We saw a big Christmas tree.
We were tired from the long trip and spent the evening in our room.

Today the weather was sunny – we wanted to see a lot of Christmas Markets today. This was the first one – it was on a ship.
We had nice views from the ship.
This was the entrance to another Christmas Market.
Look – people in the ice rink.
Later we saw this nice tower. Around the tower was another Christmas Market.
In a shop window we saw these nice animals. They seemed to have fun there.
Our next Christmas Market was next to a big gate.
On our way back to the hotel we saw another side of the dome – and this time we had sunshine.

It was our last day in Cologne – and we decided to visit the zoo. I were so curious if there were giraffes here.
I thought that this animal was not living anymore.
Then we went into a house – and there were giraffes – I was so happy!
They were much bigger than I am.
It was great to meet them.
What a big buffalo.
Then we visited the penguins. They were so funny.
Can you see the meerkats – they were standing under a lamp, because it was very cold outside.
Before we left the Zoo, we visited the hippos – wow – they were big!
We were near to one hippo.
This was our hotel – I really liked it.
In the afternoon we made a walk and had a nice view over the river.
Back in the city we saw a television show.
Here you see the cameras.
This was the stage.
We saw a man – who is famous in Germany, he is called Semino Rossi. RikeH and Dicker Kumpel didn’t know him – but many people around us were excited to see him.

Christmas will be soon – and I was allowed to help decorating the Christmas tree.
RikeH has a lot of Christmas Decorations. These ones are from her Grandma.
I think that these balls were really funny.
We had a lot more.
This was the tree after the first Part of Decorating.
Then we found more decoration for the tree.
I really loved this one.
Then the Christmas tree was ready.

Today it was Christmas. We were waiting on our Chair.
Santa Claus was busy, but fortunately he sent two of his friends. Snowy the friendly snowman and Rudi the famous Reindeer.
I spoke with both, sung a wonderful Christmas Song and then I recited a poem.
They loved it and I got a present.
The others did the same – look, we all received a lot of sweets!
Later I played in the Christmas tree. Of course I was careful. I want to show you the nicest things in the Tree.

We had awful weather over the last days – so we decided to play billiard. Dicker Kumpel knew how to play it and explained it to us.
Then I tried it.
It was not so easy, as it looked like when Dicker Kumpel showed it. When we played we saw that MadBird looked like a billiard ball. Look, what we did!
Oups….
Well – bad luck for the bird. Only kidding, Mum, of course we would never do such a bad thing!
It was time to explore the room. There must have been horses here in the Past.

I am a little sad, because it was my last day in Sülfeld. Before I said goodbye, I decided to have some photos with flowers. I would love to send them to you, but photos are good, too.
Then it was time to say good-bye to Dicker Kumpel. We had so much fun together! I was sad to leave, but Dicker Kumpel told me that I will go to a wonderful host!
I got a big hug by all the others!

Ok, I know, take a deep breath. He is only a boy, like all others - ok a giraffe - but a TV, like I'm and we travel around to different places. But he is sweet ...
After I get to my mind we talk a lot together.

today we made a present for Zandys boyfriend. It's his birthday tomorrow. He will go to Africa (once in the future maybe
) And so Zandy decided to make a saving box for him and we helped.
Isn't it lovely? Oh an when ThomasHH was on te box I climbed up to him to take a grou picture of us giraffes. And I said, that the baby giraffe is so sweet. Mummy, he looked so crazy at me. Why?
Ok mummy, now we must go to bed. Tomorrow we will have a big party.

ThomasHH invited me to a dinner. And of course I went there. First we say hello to each other and give us a hug.
How you can see there were many candels and ThomasHH give me a wine to drink.
This was so crazy. I feel like a little teenager. Ok, I’m a teenager, but a ToyVoyager and so I know a lot, but this was new. Ok, but tot he next step. We abut our glasses and drink.
A really good wine! And than we talke a lot, while we were waiting for our food.
And than we get it. Our dinner. Spaghetti! Yummy!
An than it happen! Oh mummy, I thought my heart will jump out of my breast.
I was so shame, that I turn to the other side. Oh it was so hot at this moment.
But than, after my heartbeat normalize i didn’t hear ThomasHH, so I turned back and I saw him lieing on the table.
I walked to him and I annihilated him. And than he waked up. I was so happy.
And after looking in each others eyes we kissed once more. And this was such a great feeling, mummy.

But I tryed to be strong. I knowed it from the first time, that this day will come. And I know that a TV can't fell in love, when she will be a TV. I didn't cry, beacuse I thought that won't be good.
But we had great last hours. The others let us alone, so that we could say goodbye to each other. And mummy, sooooooo romantic. Before we went to bed we dance together.
And this was the last day with ThomasHH.

Today a packet arrived here. We all were waiting for a new TV. And so we fast opened the packet, but ...
... like you see, no TV inside. Than we put out the things there and found another packet. And when we opened it there was someone laying, but it doesn't move, so we look a little bit closer...
... and than the Tv jumped up. You can't belive what a schock it was.
Slowely I stay up and look sceptical. This isn't the fine english art.
But than he say sorry and we go closer to talk a little bit. The name of the new TV is LittleLuzi. A nice guy (but he thinks he is the evil in person. That's not the truth, but we didn't say it to him, I think it's better
)
And after talking there was nothing to do anymore. So it's time to say goodbye mummy.

Today it is Zandy's Birthday and so I jumped on her bed and awake her to give her with the others to sing Happy Birthday. She was happy about it.
Than we had to say goodbye to Icy. He leave us today.
Puh so much in one hour. The postman ring and Zandy go upstairs, than she brought some packages with her. Look, so many...
We thought this are birthday presents but she told us, that she had won a competition on bookcrossing and therefore she gets many many books. This is a community in which you can chance books with other users. Than we helped her to open the envelops.
We read a little bit, but than it was time to go to the post office. Icy must go on his way and some books from Zandy. So we jumped into her bag.
After the post office we take a little walk through the town. Here you can see us on a stonebuilding.
It's a pice of a watergame for children. Now it's no water in it. The game is from one end of the street to the other one. Here you can see me in front of a picture of the watergame. On the right side you see a red key. It's the "Öhringer Schlüssel", the emblem of Zandy's hoemtown.
Than we met Mr. Hamballe. He is a very funny guy. His name means in Hohenlohe that he is an adorable but also a silly human. (Like you see he water flowers when it's raining)
It was very cold outside, so we walk home and pass the market place. Behind us you can see the castle of Öhringen, in the part you can see is the guildhall of Öhringen.
And the last picture for today (It was time! Zandy's hand were blue, because of the temperature). This is the Stiftskirche (church). The tower behind me is called the Blasturm (blow tower) it's about 56 meters high.

Today Zandy and her mom decided to go shopping and we were allowed to go with them. Therefore we take the city railway, because we went to Heilbronn.
We cross a lot of citys. And in a spezial one we take this pictures:
The name of the city is Weinsberg. And we take this picture, because the castle there (you can see it on the hill on the left or in front of us. I hope you can it wasn't easy to take a good picture while the railway droves) has a nice story. It's called "Weibertreu" (somethink like: broad loyal). Why they call it so? Zandy told me and I'll tell it to you.
In 1140 the owners of the castle were the Guelf (Welfen) and they fight against the Hohenstaufen dynasty about the maystery in the empire. King Konrad III. besiged the castle and won the fight against his adversery Welf VI on the 21st December 1140. So the castle give up some time later and King Konrad III. allowed the women to go. And he said, that the women can take all with them if they can carry it on their shoulders. The men must stay there and the king would kill them.
So the women did it like he said, they take all with them what they can carry on their shoulders: Their men!
And so the castle get it's name.
So enought facts. It's time for fun.
On our way in Heilbronn we found this little boat and decided to play a little bit on it.
After hours we get hungry, so we buy something. Me and my friends decided to eat a salat with scampi.
Look I met this nice Lady.
And while it was cold we drink some hot chocolate. A really big pot for my. *yummy*
Than it was time to go home. While we were waiting for our city railway we take some more pictures. Here I'm in front of the city hall of Heilbronn. The clock is really nice, or?
There are three clocks. The highest one is a phase of the moon clock, the middle one is a normal time clock and the last one ist the astronomical clock. It was build in 1580 by Isaac Habrecht.
On the place in front of the city hall we found an embleme which shows all city partnership of Heilbronn. The cities are: Stockport in the UK, Neath Port Talbot in Southwales, Béziers in France, Solothurn in Schwizerland, Slubice in Poland and Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany. Zandy would take a picture and said we should sit on one flag. Of course I sit on the UK flag.
And the last picture before we go home is with the ower of the Kilianskirche (church). It's a gothic one, first it was a romanic build in 1100.

today Zandy, her boyfriend, Meav and I went Geocaching. It was really funny. We go to Weinsberg, this is a town near to Öhringen. Do you remember the Name? When we go to Heilbronn by train we take a picture. And now we visited the Weibertreu. You remember the story?
But before we went to the castle we found this funny garden. Do you see the little stone castle there? Somebody try to make a model of the Weibertreu, we found it very nice.
And than we went to the original Weibertreu. How you can see there is a lot of wine around the castle. You found here a lot of wine in the area where Zandy live.
Of course we wnet inside the castle and the view was really fantastic. It was the first visit for Zandy and her boyfriend, too. Meav and I didn’t believe it, because they life here, but it was really so. They said, that you found out more about the area you life, when you show it to ToyVoyagers.
Mummy, look what a great view we had.
It was very windy, so we had always to wait until we could take a picture. Otherwise we TVs will learn how it be to fly. But we think it was better we didn’t learn it this way.
There was a little room inside the castle which we could visit. Inside we found this model of the castle.
It tooks round an hour when we walked round the ruin, but it was great. We enjoy the view.
Oh mummy, and we found this way
They called it music room or something like that. They call it so, because in the windows there were harps and when it’s windy enough (sadly not enough today) you hear the melody of the harps.

Mummy, can you see the church? And the way there? At the corner on the right side we take the first picture. Very high, isn’t it?
On our way back down, we found this wall outside. I like it, it looks really old and the plants there make it a little bit mystic.

Today we‘ve visited Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Rothenburg is a city in Bavaria, in the administrative district Ansbach in Middle Franconia. Rothenburg has round 11000 inhabitants. And Zandy showed us some pictures from some years ago, when she was there. The old city is sooooooooooooo awesome. A really medieval city.
In the morning we waked up and prepair us for our jounrey. It was could outside, but we heat the car up.
We had a lot of fun during our drive. We sang songs and look outside. There was snow lieing and the landscape was wonderful. After round a hour we came to Rotheburg and look mummy what we saw, when we leave the car.
And than we walked behind the wall and found strairs. We decided to go up.
At the top of the Wall we can walk on the parapet walk and of course we did it. What a fun and nice thing. Look and then we found this way.
We talked together if we should go there into the dark. And Little Luzi said, we should do, there is nothing we must have fear.
But before we walked through I saw a very funny sign. Isn’t it?
After our walk on the parapet walk we go down and saw this nice tower. We all were very surprised, that all this things are in such a good situation after all this years.
And then in a separate part of the wall we had a really great view over Rothenburg. And with the snow it was really great.

But it’s getting colder there, so we decided to walk our way. And it was good, because we found this old church. (But we can’t go inside, there was a mess and we thought it will be bad to go inside during this.)
And look there was a sun clock on a house.
On the other side of the church we found this relief of a religious szene. We are not really sure which one it is and there was no sign.
Oh mummy, and we found a Teddyland. Look how many teddies there in the window. We tried to talk with the teddies but they didn’t hear us.
And then we found a really nice fountain. There are a lot fountains in Rothenburg.
Mummy, Zandy showed us a store with Christmasdecorations. This store is open the whole year. She told us, that it is very funny to go there in summer, because than you didn’t think on Christmas, but in the store you must do it. Sadly it wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside the store and the Christmas museum.
After this visit we went to a museum. A scary museum. It’s called medieval crimemuseum. Look what we found outside.
A cage in which you put thieves and then you put them into the water. *brrr* And before you go in you see this horse buggy. You know what there are for? Yes, in this horse buggy you bring the thieves to the prison or to the deathsman. Scary!
MUMMY! HELP! Look what they do with me!!!! They put me into the gallows. :’-(
Hihi, don’t worry mummy. This was my idea, I want to take a picture. :-D
And then the doors opend and we could go inside. Wow, it was so dark in the first room, so that the pictures aren’t very well, but we do our best.
A reck. This was a torture instrument to bring the defendant to a guilty plea. And look a chair with thrones. *brrr*
After this scary torture instrument we found some prison doors. And I decided to go behind so that Zandy could take a picture.
Here you see a instrument with this they bond persons.
Mummy and look at this masks. Buh, scary.
This are Shame masks from the 17./18. from old Austria. The left mask has a mustache with twisted ends, horn and openings on the sides, for attachements of chicken feathers (symboling sexual lack of restrain). On top of the mask are bells which make the public aware when they ring.
The middle mask is one with a pig shout instead of a human mouth. This symbolized that the person wearing it acted like a pig.
The right has big glasses which shows, that the person sees all and the tounge says that the person talked about all.
On the next picture you can see me and my friends reading a strange story. It was in German, so I helped my English speaking friends. And the story was really, really, really strange.
I will tell you what the story tells: The title is “The animal banish”
There was a downright court procedure against animals in the 15. century in the Switzerland.
The area of Bern was attacked several times of cockchafer grubs. To fight the grubs, because they menace the harvest, the bishop of Lausanne began a court procedure against them with the ambition to banish them:
He send a apparitor to them, to call them to send an ambassador to the court. But the animals didn’t came and so the court procedure happened without them. And so the bishop adjudge them to leave the country in a deadline. But the cockchafer didn’t go. And so the bishop anathematized them.
Mummy, we all laughed so loud, that the other people look at us. But we are right, or? So silly people! How they can think, that cockchafer will come to a court procedure? So silly! Really!
But ok, we came to us an than our tour goes on. We found this big equipment, to press emblems of different things.
And this different punishmends of honour.
Mummy, look at this crazy mask. It’s a shame mask from the 17. Century. Shame masks were put on those heads from people standing at the pillories. They served on one hand to elucidate the bad character and crime of the person being punished, and on the other hand to make them look ridiculous and to encourage the mockery on the onlookers.
Mummy, i think I musn't say anything about the next picture. You know what this is. Crazy!

And this is a mask for man.
We found a glass case which shows some traditional things that women wear on their wedding.
This is really good for me, you didn't think? What ThomasHH would say if he see me? *doh*
Of course we found THE torture and death penalty oft the medieval time. The iron maiden. I think you know what this “lady” do. *shiver* This one is an original from the 15./16. century from Nuremberg. But this one wasn’t really a torture or death penalty, it was a shame penalty for women and girls.
Can you see the cage behind us? Ok I know it isn’t easy, but we do our best. It’s known a “The Trülle” here . It’s a pillory in form of a cage in which offenders stood, either standing free on all sides on a public place or fitted into the front of a building (most the town hall). This cage could be rotated , mummy. It was the punishment for work-dodgers and for revelers who disturbed the peace at night while drunk.
On the right site there is a big justice sword.
Next I saw a funny picture with shows different punishes. Ok, it looks funny on the picture, but in real they were not so funny, I guess.
Mummy do you see the things on the floor? I will tell you what they are.
Left the stone, this is called Turkish head. After the defeat of the Turks in Vienna 1683, this head was worn around a chain as a symbol of shame. The both stones in the middle are called stones of wickedness (lorry). And right are the wooden block. This is a weight which a person had to wear during he was standing at the pillory.
The next picture shows a justice. I think you can see what the persons and floors shows us.
Mummy, so you know what the next picture shows?
I’ll tell you. It shows a “Drunk Tank”. Especially it was used for men who went often to the inns and drank too much. Through the hole came the head so that the weight of the barrel was carried of the shoulders. As a special hardship sometimes weights were put on the outside. (How silly?!)
Here you can see me and my friends in front of a model of a marketplace. Right you can see a building whit is open, this shows a school and the different classrooms. When we walked our way we saw an old school table and a donkey.
You didn’t believe for what the donkey was. It was for blithering pupil, they must sit on the monkey. Crazy people!
Oh and we found weights. Whit this people buy their things. Of course some weights were faked, so that people must pay more than they really must.
And we found a glass case which shows different gallows and pillory. How much they have. For everything a different one.
Scary clothes, or mummy? There are from a deathsman. Now I know why people were afraid if they see such a man. I would be afraid too if such a man cross my way.
The wheels were also a punishment. People were non-friable and than they drive with the wheel on armes and legs oft he people. Mummy, it is sooooo brutal. What the people in the medieval times had in their heads?!

No, don’t worry, we only found this old gun and I decided to take a picture. After all the scary things I must do something funny.
This funny building is a baker’s chair. Bakers who baked bred too small or too light were placed in it. For each half ounce missing in the bred’s weight, the chair with the baker in it were dipped into the water. But not only the baker was put in the chair, also craftsman, but the baker was it mostly. Because bred was the most important nutrient of these times.

Hehe no, I think it’s no good idea to steal them. There are beautiful. But I think our crown-jewles are more important, or mummy?!
Puuuuh this was a trip. Scary, silly but also very interesting. How people change in time, this is very interesting. And I’m happy, that they change, because when not I’ll never become a ToyVoyager.
But so I learn something and that’s good. After our trip to the museum we went to a cafe with a delicacy from Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It’s called Schneeball (snow ball). Zandy told me, that this pastries are from shortcrust. The first ones were only with sugar powder but now there are many differend sorts. You can see them behind me and my friends.
Of course Zandy saied that we will taste them and than we had the spoilt for choice. I decided to take a snow ball with nougat. And it was sooooooooo delicious. I would like to send one to you, but I think I had no chance to do it. I’m sorry mummy.
Than it‘s getting late and we had to go back to the car. On our way we passed another great fountain. Look at the statue on it.
But than we decided to take another walk on the parapet walk, but now the other side. First we take this picture, you see me on the wall?!
From above we saw a nice house with a really nice clock. Isn’t it?
And we like the sunset from above. It was really nice. I hope you see it a little bit on the pictures. It was very cold and I don’t know who shivers more I or Zandy.
And we saw this tower with some emblemes, the left and right one shows the embleme of Rothenburg but we don’t know which one the middle one is.
And the last picture was this one.
And than we drove home and fell into our beds, because we were so tired.

Zandy has holidays and she decided to visit a friend in Osnabrück and I was allowed to go with her. On Monday our journey starts, we go by train there. Our first station was Heilbronn.
Meav and I keeped an eye on our luggage while we were waiting for the train.
And than it came and we found a seat. Our journey began. Zandy was so excited, but we understand her. It’s great to visit other places. And she didn’t saw her friend for the last 8 years.
Meav and I said goodbye to Heilbronn.
Mummy, look I saw this old castle during our way to Mannheim. It was between Heilbronn and Mosbach. But we don’t know where it really was.

When we came into the station we saw a TGV, a train from France, but when we came to our next train the TGV was already on it’s way back to France. Sadly, we would take a picture, but no chance.

After the short stay in Frankfurt I had a look at the plan. How you can see, our next stations will be Cologne, Düsseldorf, Essen, Dortmund and there we have to chance the train.
But first I had a look outside. It was really great. I saw a lot of houses and than there were no once next to the train.
Oh mummy, and look these seats were more comfortable like the first ones.

) we came to Cologne, but the weather was terrible. It was raining the whole time. But we had great feelings and so we didn’t get sad.
We came into Cologne trough the Hohenzollern bridge. And the blue building is the Musicaldome. We asked Zandy to go outside to have a look to Cologne. I know, I’ve visited Cologne already with RikeH, but I think this is a great town. But Zandy said no. When we look saddish she laugh and told us, that we will come on Wednesday back to Cologne and will stay there to Thursday. So we were really happy.
We saw some trains coming into the station.
And I saw a little peace of the Cologne Dome.
Now we drove back to the Hohenzollern bridge and go our way to Osnabrück.

And after some more minutes we came to Osnabrück. But this day we didn’t take pictures, because Zandy and her friend talked a lot (ok after 8 years…) and I think it’s better to let her doing this today.

today it was raining the whole moring. But than we saw, that rain stops and we decided to go into the town. (And we had luck. The rain came only back for 5 minuts during our town visit. :-D )
First we visited the Dome in Osnabrück. It’s a small one, smaller than the one in cologne, but I think it’s beautiful, too.
Inside we take some more pictures. Beautyful things there. Or what do you think?
I really like the colorful windows inside.
And during our walk through the city we see some really nice houses. I like them very much.
Mummy, can you see the figures over my head? This are Adam and Eve.
This was our little walk through the town Osnabrück. How I said at the beginning it was raining the whole day, so we had to go home really early. But I think this houses and the dome are great views.

Zandy met another friend, so it took long before we could take pictures. But this was ok (if you see
) First we went to the Hard Rock Café in Cologne. But the girls talked a lot, because they didn’t see each other for a long time so we only take one picture.
And the Dome from another side.
Than we take a little walk through Cologne and now I can present you some more impression. In the backround you can see “Et Pääd” (don’t ask me how you pronounce it right. We didn’t know it.
) It’s a equestrian memorial from Friedrich Wilhelm lll.
Than we went to the Rhine and take a walk there. Zandy wanted to buy chocolate at the chocolate museum in Cologne, so we also visited this building. (But we only saw the shop)
After buying chocolate we went up the building, there you have a great view over the Rhine and you also saw the Dome and another tower, but I will tell you later something about it.
Here we look inside the chocolate museum. There you can see the chocolate fountain (the golden thing inside the building)
Than we wanted to drink something, so we sit down at a Café near the tower about I will tell you something. Zandy told me, that in this tower are ghosts. You can hear them sometimes. (But only when the wind came from one special direction. *hehe*) She heard it at her last visit when she took part on a Night watcher walk. However I think this tower is great.
That were our first hours here in Cologne. Tomorrow we will go home by train. But before Zandy will show us some more thing, because we have some hours before the train will go.

How I already said, we had some time before the train leaves, so we took some more pictures.
Here we were inside the Dome. Look how beautiful the windows are. So colorful, we all liked them were much.
This picture shows you the communion table.
We also took a walk down into a little room where you also can pray. Mummy, look at this nice candle holder.
Inside we also saw some organs, here is a picture from one. I know it isn’t the best one, but it’s difficult to take pictures without flash.
Here is communion table for Maria. It was really beautiful. Sadly you can’t see the face of the statue. But we wouldn’t go near. There were a lot of people praying and we think it’s better to stay in the back.
Another table in gold. I don’t know if this is real gold, but it looks like this.

And the last picture inside the Dome. You see what it shows?
Mummy, look this doors are from the Dome. They are really massive and the ornaments are nice.
Than Zandy showed us the “Heinzelmännchen fountain”. There’s a nice story about it.
The Heinzelmännchen were little men who came at night and made the work for the Cologne people. But the women – you see the women on the first picture? – wanted to know who these persons are. (The people never see them, because they have heads and they make them invisible) So the crafters wife put lentils (or something like that) at the stairs so the men fell down, lost their hads and the wife could see them. After this the men never come back and the Cologne people must do their work themselves. Here are some closer pictures from the pictures at the fountain.
And surprise, surprise… another view at the Dome.
Mummy, can you see the bishop figure there? We didn’t know why this figure is there, but it looks like the bishop try to banish something or so.
The last picture in Cologne is this with the fountain in front of the Dome. Than it was time to went to the train.

this week was boring. Zandy was ill and so we couldn’t do something. She lay in bed the whole day. But on Wednesday she said it’s time to do something and so we wrote postcards. Zandy is in postcrossing and we were able to help her writing postcards.
First she brought a black box.
I was really excitied what there is inside. So I opened it and look postcards.
First we had to get an address where our postcard will go (this one will go to Russia), after this we read the profile of the person (of course we didn’t take a picture of the profile, because there was shown the address and a picture). After we read we had to pick out a good postcard. But if you see it wasn’t easy do decided with one is the best.
But the person I should write likes cats so I pic a catpostcard.
I like it. The cat is really nice, or what do you think mummy?!
Than I had to write some words on the card and the address.
And at least I had to pic up a stamp. Decisions, decisions, decisions… really hard. But of course I get two stampf.
We wrote nine postcards together. Look with we picked up. Aren’t this nice cards? I like them.
And than we had a little walk to the postbox, where we throw the cards inside.

today we visited a medieval market at the castle in Untergruppenbach (near Heilbronn). And we decided, that we would do it right and so we dress up. Look, I’m a Amazone.
I love my dress. The others dress up as a knight and a Scottish princess. Aren’t we nice?
First we had a look at the people who camp there. It was very interesting, but hard to understand for me when they talked. But Zandy had no problems with it and so she talked and we look at the interesting things.
Here is an armour of a knight or better some pices of it and some swords.
And here is a camp of the Scottish people, one of them played a bagpipe and it was really nice.
It was hot outside so we get thirsty. I drink a mead. It was really delicious. “Slainte, mummy!” (Somebody told us that the Scottish people say it when they drink.)
Mummy look what a great view we had from the little bridge over the moat. One the one side there were jugglers and on the other side we saw a stage.
And than we get hungry, because we hadn’t have a big breakfast, so we decided to eat something and we found a really delicious bread with garlic and we could give some other things on it. YUMMY! I can told you!
The next picture was taken in the inner courtyard of the castle.
And than we walked a little bit and went up, from wehre we had a really great view over Untergruppenbach and the other citys around.
After we had enough of this we walked down into the vaulted cellar.
There were a lot of people with clothes. The most interesting thing was the big weaving loom. The men there was really nice, he showed us how you must do it and talked a little bit with us. And he allowed us to take this picture:
On the other side we came into the moat, how you can see now we stand in front of the stage. And just at this moment there were some music on it. The man you can see are called “Spielleute Catoris” and Zandy like them. They play funny songs – of course like in the medieval time.
Now we could look up at the wall of the castle and see it from above. Nice, or?!
Our next station was a booth from a crocker. Look what for nice things she had. Oh and can you see the little wooden castles? We all were really fascinated of them.
And than we walked back to the beginning of our tour, because there was a little arena and when we came there showed some things of higlandgames.

We found a place with shadow to relax and had a view over the arena and the tents.
After relaxing we decided to walk our way. And look what we found a real armour. It was in front of a smith. Great or? But I thing I won’t wear it, because it looks really heavy.
And here we are in front of another tent. We thought it was for the high society.
And another armour. But now it’s with leather. We didn’t really know, but we think it’s from Vikings.
Mommy can you see what we saw? Scary! We fastly take a picture and ran away, so that they didn’t catch us.
And this area I loved mostly. A area with bows and arrows. Wow! I love them. I wanted to take one with me, but Zandy said no.
And than we saw the highlight of the whole day: the tournament. So cool! All the knights were really good. I don’t know which one I liked most. First they come to the arena and herald introduce the knights.
The knights had to do some exercises (Exercitien in German). First they had to pick up the rings with their lance. And for every ring they pick up they get a point (Oculus).

Than it was time for headhunting. *hehe* There were a dark head standing on a red block. And the knights had to behead the dark head. They must knock out the red block and therefore they get points (Oculi).
The third discipline was the boar hunt. Therefore they prepare a wooden boar with a strawbag and all the knights hat to ride in a line and they must throw their lances into the boar.
Now you can see all the knights in the arena. They had little crowns on their helmet and the others had to knock off the crown. But they must do it from the front side. I German it’s called Bargordia, but we don’t know how to call it in English.

We really like the music. It’s perfect for this day and we can’t stand still, we would shake a little bit, but we know that maybe the people around us didn’t like it and of course we would see the Exercitien.
The next one was this. They had to throw the torso down with their lance. And if the herald had a lance, too. He metering the distance from the thing the torso was on it to the torso itself. And one full lance of the herald gives two Oculi (points)

One of the horses was young and was a little bit scary, so an older horse rides with him.
And this was a game in with the knights had to knock the shield with their lance an for every round the shield does they get a point. I like this very much, because they were very fast.

The next knight was really funny. He ride to the shield and blow on it. He thought that he get more rotations. So funny!
And the last Exercitium was the joust (Tjost). The knights hat to ride with their lances and must throw out their opponent out of the saddle or to broke their lance on the shield.

Sadly, we ha d a lot of fun there. The knights say goodbye to the people.

Than we walked back to the castle, because we wanted to eat something before we go home. And there was a band playing some songs. We found a great place from which we see all.
Mummy do you know the next song? It was funny. And we can’t hold on, we dance and sing together! Wohoooo!

Today I get a little big surprise.
Some plushies organized a birthdayparty for me. It was so nice.
There are three plushis you didn't know. They will be Zandys new TVs and so they take the chance to make party with two TVs.
The monkey is called jala, the flower is Ayana and the other one is called Purple.
But now back to MY party!
I had to blow out the candle.
The others clap their hands when I get it and than they sing a lot of birthdaysongs (after song three I stop to count
) This was so lovely!
And than we had some drinks and talked a lot.

What a nice surprise. I will remember my first birthday a long time!

Today I will leave Zandy. And I'm so exciting, because I will go back home. I'll see you again mummy. That is soooo great!
But another great information: I mustn't travel alone, Jala comes with me (or I with her, how you will see it

First we had to say goodbye to our friends. I get a lot of hugs from them.
And than it was time to crawl into our envelope.
