Sunset is a wild ToyVoyager. He is very excited to start on his journey and hopes that whomever finds him will take pictures and post them here, so that we can enjoy his travels, too! Sunset hopes that the person who finds him will blog with him for a while, then release him back to the wild or send him home.

Sunset was very excited to see an envelope readying for his journey. He learned that he will be going to Canada, to take a visit before his wild release!

I've arrived!!!!

My host was super excited to see her mailbox stuffed to the brim and I was one of packages.  I made it intact...a little bumpy but made it none the less.

My host says sadly she is working alot over the next two weeks so our journeys might be limited...but she has two very cute buddies and a house full of treats and soft beds...so I am sure I will be just fine to wait to start an adventure!

Just a quick note...my host has been super busy over the last few weeks so I've just hung out with the "boys" in the yard and of the fluffy couch that has lots of pillows!  We also go for walks every morning...nice to see the birdies and smell all the wonderful smells!

I heard rumblings that I may get to go on a car ride to visit a new doggie...and may even get to go to Seattle and eat some oysters too!

I will post some photos of our journeys soon!

Well...I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.  I heard all this talk of my host going on holidays...then low and behold...she put me in her bag and off we went!  First stop was Red Deer, AB...but it was dark...didn't see much.  Got up super early for some reason to head to Vancouver, British Columbia.  But first we had a Tim Hortons coffee...which is driving fuel apparently?  Here a few photos from the road...such beautiful mountians!  All the places to sniff and explore!

We stopped for some food at a neat diner in Golden, BC.  Very old school and super yum food!

We stopped at a dairy in Sicamous, BC and I got to see some animal friends and drive a tractor!  My favorites were the big eyed black and white guys!

We arrived in Vancouver, British Columbia very late.  My host said it was raining to hard so I stayed inside (she forgot an umbrella!).  This is the view from her hotel on Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver.  Apparently it is only the 18th floor...but soooo HIGH!

So EXCITED!  We found a dog beach!  What a glorious place!  To watch doggies frolick in the water.  Oh how wonderful!  My host kept me from the water though...said she didn't have a towel and I'd get to dirty.  Party pooper!  It was a great place and the doggies were just fantastic!

We were about to take a aquaboat to Granville Island and low and behold...one of our fellow travellers was a very handsome Cocker Spaniel named Wilson.  We made friends and he took me for a ride.  He was a great doggie.

I couldn't believe all the big boats everywhere...stands to reason I guess since we were on the ocean after all!

We went to the famous Granville Island Public Market.  Apparently doggies aren't allowed inside  :(  but the treats that came out of the market were delish!  Grapes, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, mango ice cream and the best clam chowder EVER!

Best doggie store on the island...WOOFLES & MEOWZ!!!  The best part...it was in a train car!

We got to witness a very peaceful memorial where they floated little boats in the ocean.

We sat on huge logs and watched the boats and ate some treats.  So relaxing

On our way home now...but so exciting...its SMILE COOKIE WEEK!  Donates a dollar to charity every cookie you buy.  You can't help but smile at a cookie...sadly they are chocolate chip...and doggies can't have chocolate.  Maybe they should make peanut butter ones?

A part of our adventure involved driving the coquihalla which is 1728 meters above sea level!  Hurt my ears!!!  My host says she's not a fan of the snow sheds...they creep her out!  Here is a few photos.  Our fast trip was amazing...and I hear we are going again tomorrow to Seattle (20 year anniversary of Nevermind from Nirvana!), Spokane and once again, Vancouver.  My host is a big music junkie...but again...they don't let doggies into concerts!  I will have more to share soon!
