Hello,
Today I was with Miss Lucy and Andrea in Fritzlar, Andrea was born in Fritzlar and travels regularly back here. On the following pictures you can see the Cathedral. The Cathedral of Fritzlar measures 43 meters (from the basement to the top). He continues to shape the cityscape of the small town in the Schwalm-Eder-Kreis (formerly Circle Fritzlar-Homberg). The three-aisled basilica in Fritzlar is considered one of the most beautiful in Germany. Collegiate Church of St. PeterAb the 11th Century, built and rebuilt several times, combines the Cathedral of St. Peter Roman and Gothic styles. In the oldest part of the Fritzlarer Domes are the crypts, which can also be viewed as the Cathedral, which, amongst other things, "Henry Cross" and some of the oldest monstrances the German-speaking. In 2004, the cathedral in Fritzlar the honor to be allowed to carry the title of Papal Basilica, bestowed by Pope John Paul II at the request of the diocesan bishop of Fulda, Heinz Josef Algermissen Mgr Boniface The monk Winfrid called , Boniface received in the year 723 of Rome, the order for the mission work "in pago hassorum", in Hesse (Althessen), which meant the average age was Northern Hesse. Known was his mission work through the cases of so-called Donar's Oak in 723 years at the place, "Geismar", which was dedicated to a pagan deity. Boniface felled the oak, without being met, the expected wrath of the locals Donars and built from the wood a church that was dedicated to St. Peter. This event is considered the beginning of Christianity, not only in this area of the present diocese of Fulda. The Town Hall in Fritzlar originated in Roman times (also called "bailiwick") and was first mentioned in documents in 1109. Besides the cathedral is the oldest town hall in Fritzlar Germany to the sights of the city. The town hall is decorated with a stone relief from the 1441 Holy St. Martin, the patron saint of Fritzlar. In the 15th Century the building was an ornate timber floor Even the rest of town around the market in Fritzlar (with Roland fountain dating from 1564) is determined by imposing half-timbered buildings A great view into Edertal In the evening I was with Andrea and Miss Lucy at a Christmas party good night bye, bye Dr.Kröbner |

Hello again from Baltrum...first some Informations
Baltrum is a barrier island off the coast of East Frisia (German: Ostfriesland), in Germany, and is a municipality in the district of Aurich, Lower Saxony. It is located in-between the chain of the seven inhabited East Frisian Islands. Baltrum is the smallest island in this chain by area and inhabitants. There follows a long walk across the island, thank God, the transportation is very comfortable If you climbed up onto an embankment somewhere on the North Sea coast to take a look at the sea, you could be in for a disappointment - there's not a drop of water to be seen! Instead a broad, barren flatness stretches away before you. But don't panic, the North Sea will be back - in the Wadden Sea, the water ebbs and flows twice a day, in a six hour cycle. Giving rise, between Den Helder in the Netherlands and Esbjerg in Denmark, to a 10,000 square kilometre the like of which is found nowhere else in the world. there are many information boards with informations ...In order to protect this natural landscape on Niedersachsen's North Sea coast, the area was made a conservation area in 1986. Since 2009, the Niedersachsen Wadden Sea National Park is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea. The 288,000 hectare Niedersachsen Wadden Sea national park covers the tidal flats between the rivers Ems and Elbe, including the East Friesian islands lying just off the coastarge wetland. huhu... I need a break.... Sea buckthorn is a typical plant here found near the coast forming thickets on fixed dunes and sea cliffs.. turtles or bears do not normally sit in the sea buckthorn... but what is normall ?? greetings from a nice trip with my friends BrunoAusTirol and Wacky-Z yours Dr.Kröbner |

Hello, my friends at home!
Today was a very stormy day. Nevertheless we were at the lighthouse of Blavand. We had to climb up 170 steps!!! Thank god I have the hoody, the wind ontop nearly blew my coat away! Back on the bottom I looked for some sea shells for my girlfriend Elli. I found one. Not someone, but the most pretty seashell for the most pretty bear lady, my Elli! One last look back to the lighthouse and we went back through the dunes. |

Hej Delligsen!
Very bad weather today, rain the whole day! S we decided to go shpooing. W went to Blavand Bolcher, expecting a candy shop. But then we saw in the back of the shop the oldest candy manufacture of Denmark. We watched the man doing his job: Rolling the sugar mass and putting in on a drawing machine. There the mass changed the colour, from light yellow to white. Then he made a roll of black and white sugar mass and put it into the old machine. I wondered what will come out at last. It was a little bit hard to take photos, but we saw it: black-white-striped lollipops! In the shop you can buy many, many more varieties of candies, maybe I will buy some for you Lots of love, Dr.Kröbner |

Hi folks,
Christmastime is coming and all around the people are busy with decoration and illumination. We too! I want to arrange a cristmastree and need assistance. But where we can get a Christmastree and how did he looks like? Mr. Lemony sayed that he has seen some trees in mums orangerie, so we risk a view inside. Indeed, there were some plants, but which we could use for a christmastree? So we decided to vote by selecting every ones favorit. The result was without anny doubt, we would take the tree in the middle. Now the next problem: how to carry it from the orangerie in the livingroom? After several recommendations we try to permute Günthers idea: to manage it like the Viking, with logs. First we need a wooden beam and a strong rope to build a lifting arm. With united power we managed it to lift the bucket of the tree at the backside, while *coco* and Phog … could place a log behind the baseplate. At next the biggest of us had to luffing on a lever to lift the baseplate at the frontside for placing a secound log behind the plate. After we managed this diffucult parts Scruffy and I pulling the rope and Günther make nonsense. *coco* ,Mr.Lemony and Gwen Jolies job was, to lay new logs in the front of the baseplate. It works surprisingly good! Wavy-Gravy was supervising the experiment. After a while we passed the corridor…. the kittchen… . livingroom. We all are rather groggy and decided to continue tomorrow with the christmasdecoration..... Dr.Kröbner |

Next day, early morning: Christmastreedecoration. At mums attic we found some knitted balls and other oddities and place it into the Christmastree in expectation of big presents At christmaseve: We hearded a big noise like stamping and rumbling...... it could be St. Claus. 5 minutes after the noises stopped and we entered the livingroom and indeed, the cristmastree was surrounded by presents. I started to distribute them and we unwrap our packets. wow a sleigh... thank you mum and I wish a Merry Christmas to all Dr.Kröbner |
