Hey Mom it's me!
Yesterday we made an apple cake. I had a lot of fun by making it. We filled the dough into the shape. Than I pared the apples. Later we filled the apples with raisins. We're ready, it looks gread and it was so delicious that we couldn't wait and we ate some pieces before taking this pic. Later I visited the turtle Mr. Monk. Today it's really foggy. Tomorrw we'll make a trip around. I hope we had nice weather. Bye bye Piggy |

Hey Mommy!
Today we had to go to the doc. Pieksi and me waited for 1 1/2 hour in the car. I was glad that he was there too. We talked a lot in that time. After the doc we went into the city of Albstadt Ebingen. Here you could see me in front of the Bürgertum. It's really old and an emblem from Ebingen. It was build in the time of 1500. Than we see the city hall. It was build in 1912/1913. The city hall has a big gable at the other side. We'll made a pic from that side in the next days. We made a stop at the Martins church. The tower was build in 1670. There's a tombstone in the church from a knight called Heinrich von Ringelstein from 1413. We also saw an other church too. We'll have lunch now. I'll come back later to tell more. Bye MsPiggy |

Hey Mommy!
Some more adventures to tell^^ We stopped at the gas station to refuel the car. Bentje said we had to feed Erna Erna is the name of her car. We drove to Laufen, the smal town where we live. We saw a really nice bridge and the little river Eyach. Today there's not much water in it. Than we had a look at the Gallus church of Laufen. It was build from 1873 to 1875. Since two years the church will be rehabilitate. Pieksi and me sitting in front of the little city hall from A- Laufen. Bye for now Piggy |

Hey Mom!
It's me again! Got to tell you a new adventure! We drove to a mountain called Lochen. The side we climed up is the Lochenstein. Some facts: The Lochenstein is in the south-west of the Schwäbische Alb. It's 963m high. It's one of the impressive vantage point of this region. We arrived at the parking place. Look at this beautiful weather. Not so much fog like the last days. Let's go! Could you see the crag behind me? There we had to go to. It's a really smal way up. We found a really old tree up there. We sit down and had a nice view. At this table I found a lot of informations about things I could see around. In the back you could see the city of Balingen. Than we had a little picnic. Look at this view mom! In the fog there's the black forrest. We found an info sign with a story of the little Lochen people. If you like, you could click on the pic and read that story. I'm sorry for following hosts. We just found this in german. This is an ohter hill which belongs to the Lochen. The Lochenhörnle, or only Hörnle. It's 956m high. On the way back to the parking place we found this nice rock. An ohter infomap. Just click if you like to read. (Only german too) We're now at the place into the left circle. The right one showes our hometown. So enough pics for now Bye Piggy |

Hey Mommy!
Today I had to tell you some bad things. The last rat called AC died yesterday. Well Bentje told me he was very old and had a good and long life, but I'm sad that he's gone. She came home very late in the evening. So we just made quickly a coffin for AC. It's not the best one. We went out and made a grave in the garden. Now AC is on the other side of the rainbowbridge and I guess he likes the place there. Rest in peace AC. Today we went into the forrest to get some branches for the Advent wreath. I think we did a god job. Greetz Piggy |

Not really famous pics, but you could see the nature hihi Tieringen: Somewhere on the way from Tieringen to Albstadt A smal street with lots of curves. So many trees all around My "hometown" for the last month The little railway station of Albstadt- Laufen The street where we live And last but not least, the house where I spent the last month. Hey Mom!
It's me again One more update. We made a trip to A- Ebingen and went up to the Schlossbergturm. In the past there was the castle Häringstein up on that rock. In 1889 the observation tower was build. It's 24m high. In 1960/61 the city of Ebingen made a new tower and in 1991–1993 it was rehabilitated once more. We found lots of theese signs on the trees on our way to the tower. We could read interesting informations about the different kind of trees. We found a little den. We had a great view on Albstadt-Ebingen Look at this great rock. We climbed up 119 stairs to the top of the tower. On the top of the tower. What a great view! We could see the alps of Switzerland. At least we made a picture of us. Pieksi, Bentje and me. Bye for now Piggy |

Hello again!
One more of my adventures We drove the the benedictines convent of Beuron. The legend said that Graf Gerold von Bussen has plant the first convent of Beuron in the year 777 which was damaged by Hungary. The reconstruction was in 1077. The footbridge. There not a lot of theese bridges in the south of Germany. It's from 1801. Here you could read a bit more about the bridge and the convent. (Only in german) Walking over the bridge I'm watching an old picture of the convent. On the other side. Behind me you could see the river Donau. Here in Baden-Württemberg it's really smal. Now you know all my last adventures Lots of hugs Piggy |

Dear Mum
I've safely arrived in Heidelberg and were greeted by some other TV's. Ohkwari is the big brown bear on the left, he comes from California. Rendolph is a cute reindeer from Wales and the leopard Kazumi lives here. I will write more soon. Miss Piggy |

Dear Mum
Today we went to the Christmas Market at Neuburg monastery. The monastery is situated a bit outside of Heidelberg and was built in the 12th century. Here you can see the river Neckar behind me. This is the monastery's church: It was very crowded at the Christmas market but we managed to buy some small gifts. Keep fine, Miss Piggy |

Hello, it's me again. Today I asked Sammy, my host's cat, to pose for a photo with me and he agreed. Don't we look awesome?
The weather looks quite grey and rainy but I nevertheless decided to go to town. This is the gate which leads to the Old Bridge: We crossed the bridge and walked back along the river Neckar. Unfortunately at this point it already started to get very grey again and soon it was raining, so the pics didn't turn out very well. Keep fine, Miss Piggy |
