Hello, Guten Tag, Bonjour, Hoi, Ciao, Hola & Salam dear Toyvoyagers and also toy mommys and daddys.
My name is Khaled and I am a desert animal. To be exact, I'm a camel. Yes yes right! Those animals with two humps to store water, the taxis of the desert for inhabitants as well as tourists. Some of us are even used for camel race sport, but to be honest I am not really into that. I think we should better leave these job to the horses. I live with my toy mommy Verena since a few months now so we got to know each other well. I am very thankful she set me free from the toy-shop I lived in before. Not that the shop wasn't nice, but it is a more calming feeling to have a safe place you belong to, instead of waking up every day without knowing where you may end up. As beautiful as it is to have this nice home now, we camels are used to travel a lot. So when we got some post from one of Verenas egyptian friends this week, my urge to travel awoke again. Here you can see two pictures of me looking fascinated at the egyptian gifts the postman brought to us. Especially the stamps and the arabic letters on the envelope were so very nice. It was easy for Verena to read from my face how much I would like to travel a bit. After I promised her to come back home from time to time and leave some notes to her along my journey, she agreed to let me be free and become a part of this community here. I really look forward to meet some of you people out there and hope you brighten my days with the language spoken in your country, your traditions, your daily life, local meals and sights... With my 75gr I am a very easy going plushy toy and I dont need much to be pleased. So please let me come into your mailbox soon. See you Yours Khaled |

Hello to all of you readers out there.
Today I found a nice painting in Verena's room which I really like and wanted to share with you all. Verena made it herself, as she really loves the oriental style of decoration. Yes yes don't hide it! Common she deserves some applaus. Unfortunataly it was too sunny outside to really see the little colorful lights shining from behind the windows and stars. But I can tell you it looks even more fabulous at night when its dark. Maybe I get the chance to make another photo in the evening. I think I really look good beside this nice painting isn't it? |

Hello everyone
What an exciting weekend! I was so happy to hear that Verena finally found my first host. Im gonna travel to beelicious here from the forum. I heard that she also got a little camel called LeMak. You can imagine that now I am even more excited. With all the excited feelings inside my little camel heart I tried out my colorful Travel Tag. Am I not looking good with it? In the background you see Cola and saltsticks. Verena was sick with gastrical flu the last days so that this was kind of her medicine. And surely I snacked some of it as well....yummy... Dont worry I gave her a lot of kisses to feel better. I also wanted her to stay in bed, but she still put a lot efforts in my travelling. Thanks for that! I also took a trying seat inside the envelope which will be my home until I reach my host. Its comfortable and fluffy inside and hopefully the postman will be gentle with it! So hope you guys had a nice weekend too Bye yours Khaled P.S. Hope to see you soon beelicious! Can't wait for it! |

Hi!
Today I had a wonderful day! My host father is a truck driver and we were allowed to ride! We drive with this truck. In the back we take an excavator. Here he comes ... ... will that work well? Puh, it's done! The stairs are very high. But together we can make it! The steering wheel is big! Here we go! We invite especially humus. It takes ... We are a little boring ... We play hide! Philly seeks us. Now he has found me! Since the front, the pilgrimage church "Maria Limbach". Can you see the ship on the Main? We drive through Haßfurt. Left you see the "Ritterkapelle" (Knights' Chapel). Now we take the highway A70 direction Schweinfurt. Now we are in Schweinfurt "Maintal." The arch is part of the old city wall. We're going to Kitzingen. Along the way we past vineyards. Have you ever seen such a small tractor? It is made of vinesyards. Do you see the four towers? This is the Abbey "Münsterschwarzach". Now we are in Kitzingen. Outside of Kitzingen is our last stop. We unload excavators, wheel loaders and humus. We enjoy the beautiful spring weather. We can even drive an excavator! I'm getting tired ... I want to go home. Here in Gerolzhofen we buy a snack. Finally we are back home. It was a lot of fun! After this adventure we need something sweet :-D! Best regards, Khaled |

He comes from the beautiful Latvia. He brought us many gifts (a butterfly, a rose soap and many postcards). We say friendly welcome! On the PC he shows us where his home is. There are nearly 1.700 km. Misha comes from Riga, the capital. He loves his city very much. Look at his T-shirt. Then he shows us some pictures of Riga. We have definitely a good time with him! Dear Mummy!
Today we made a hiking trip to the Staffelberg. It was so sunny and warm and we could see very much of the pretty landscape. Hostdad reminded me to drink enough because it was so warm. I did. After we had reached the top of the mountain we had a typical franconian lunch, bratwurst und sauerkraut. Very yummie After that we walked around the plateau, watched the valley under us and the little church ontop. Oh, how pretty! It was time to leave. On our way back we stopped at Vierzehnheiligen, the famous pilgrim church. Hostdad said again, we should drink enough, and I did, of course!!! He ordered a glass of typical franconian dark beer. Oh, how yummie! I remembered, Khaled, drink enough! We got a funny idea! It would be cool to pose altogether in hostdads cap Suddenly I wondered, that there are two camels at this berwery, look beside me, there two more humps I got a little bit confused! Two hours later I woke up in the backpack. Hostmum said I sang funny songs and then she only heard me snoring Now I go early to bed! See you soon, Your Khaled |

Happy easter, Mummy!
Today we were in the garden because hostmum said she saw a bunny with a big basket. Maybe he concealed some easter eggs for us. So we took a look. And in fact I found a red egg! Altogether we found a whole basket full of sweets! We visited the little bunnies in the barn in our garden. Maybe the will be easter bunnies when they are grown up Yours, Khaled |

Hey Mummy!
Today we visited the beach in Denmark! Thank you that you allowed me to accompany my hosts to that wonderful place! At first we had to climb up to the top of the dunes. And then I saw it: a wonderful beach with wonderful fine sand! And a little bit far away the north sea. The north sea is a funny thing, we were there when there was low tide, so the beach was even wider. Look at the last picture: MY LIFE MISSION!!! My four footprints in the sand! I am soooooooooooooooooo happy! Huggies for you! Khaled |

Hi Mummy!
It´s me again! Today we made a barbecue at home! Cheerio, Aaron and me were together with hostmum responible for the salad. We choose the recipe for a mixed salad, because everybody likes this. I sliced tomatoes, put them in a bowl and mixed the ingredients together with Aaron. The other guys broiled spareribs together with hostdad. So we had everything for the barbecue. And I tasted some beer, too Have a nice evening, Yours, Khaled |
Yosemite Posted May 27, 2012, 2:10 pm |
Hi, my dear Mummy!

Wolley had a great idea! We could make a rain dance! Wolley explained what we should do. At first: build a circle Second: Dance to the left Third: Dance to the right Fourth: pot with coal in the middle Fifth: Fire the coal Sixth: resin and other stuff on the coal And: look what happened: It started to rain! And the rain goes on Yours, Khaled |
