York, England - 17th March 2006
By: Crusoe
Batkin wants to see more of The British Isles and is keen to make lots of new friends along the way ...
Can you help Batkin to complete a mission?
Could you be his travelling companion for a while?
Will you help him to move on when you've had a few adventures together?
That'd be great - he likes you already!

York, England - 8th April 2006
By: MadAlice
Found Batkin on the city walls, York - obviously left by one of the others. He was hiding in a hole in the wall and even though he shouted 'Boo' at us as we passed, we almost missed the little blighter -we picked him up cos it was getting late and his chances of getting found by a kind-hearted traveller were getting slim! We'll take him along to another release later on..
Anyway, he's pretty pleased with himself, claiming to have completed a mission cos we bumped into the '118-118 Men' in York City Centre. Apparently that counts as 'someone with a claim to fame' (though you might be forgiven for thinking they're just a couple of blokes with dodgy stick-on moustaches) and Batkin's well happy.
So we took a pic and have uploaded it for all to see and admire. Enjoy!

Warwick Castle, England - 8th April 2006
By: MadAlice
Batkin was released into the wild on a step at the entrance to Warwick Castle.
He thought that was a good place where lots of Castle visitors would see him, and where someone kind would take pity on such a small and friendly bear and take him with them.
So thank you if you found him and a doubly big THANK YOU for checking his travelog - please update as soon as you can and let us know where he is and what adventures you are having!
