Bacchus is a small and friendly bear who is destined to be released in the North-East of England over the weekend of 18th-19th August.
He wants to travel and see more of the UK, and to visit places overseas.
Please look after him, help him to travel, and if you can't help him yourself, please pass him onto someone else who will be his travelling companion.

Warkworth Northumberland, England - 27th August 2007
By: sue
I arrived here today, in Warkworth -a very pretty village with a castle, meandering river and hermitage. It is on the north-east coast of England, not far from the Scottish border.
I am staying in a Bed and Breakfast called Aulden for the night ( www.warkworthbedandbreakfast.co.uk) and tomorrow I hope to continue my journey north, to Scotland. My missions are taking a detour as I have the chance to journey to Canada ( perhaps). Who knows what will happen in the end.

Barrie, Canada - 4th September 2007
By: PandD
After leaving Warkworth, England I travelled to Scotland and spent a couple of days in Edinburgh, a fabulous city, very friendly. Do make time for the castle tour and the shopping there is magnificent. Then on to Glasgow with a short stop for a visit to Stirling Castle, a rich Scottish historical place. Then I travelled by train to Oban, then a ferry to the island of Mull and then a harrowing bus journey to Fionnephort where I caught another ferry to the island of Iona. I got there on a Friday, Aug. 31st, and on Sat., Sept. 1st, I attended the wedding of a Canadian Anglican minister/priest who had met his bride-to-be from Amsterdam at Iona two years earlier. I travelled with the groom's godparents ad they were thrilled to be there to support a very special nephew and godson - and they're very fond of his new wife, who will become a niece-in-law and possibly a godchild-in-law? Whatever. I then travelled back to Glasgow and onto a plane for Hamilton Ontario. Then a car ride to Barrie where I spent two nights - one with the people who brought me here from England and the next with their daughter-in-law who is a Canadian/Scottish Highland dancer who is going to the Scottish Highland weekend in Colorado. She will leave me there. All of a sudden, I am international. Help me with my journey.
